Here is yet another admission that the average global temperature has not risen since 1998 despite significant increases in CO2. This from the BBC no less. The UK government’s proxy global warming cheerleader.

Yet we are to swallow their line that oh yes…future long range predictions are still valid and be sure to keep those research grants coming.

This begs the question what if CO2 is not a major player? If not how money have we wasted on CO2? Are we even close to knowing what is really going on? Like I have said before…Greenland was called Greenland for a reason.

I feel fairly safe in saying there has been climate going on for 12 billion or so years.

At least that is what the government wants you to think.

McClatchy Newspapers reports today that the CDC says one in 5 children experience a mental health disorder. According to Big Brother 20% of our children are head cases. Only 21% get treatment. A mind numbing 79% of these kids aren’t getting their share of mind numbing drugs.

“Mood disorders” are up 70% since 1997. I am getting a mood disorder just thinking about this.

The CDC is only one of many political tools designed to control the populace. Remember when it instructed doctors to ask all their patients if they were gun owners? Gun ownership is a disease in the eyes of the government. Then there was last years flu epidemic that wasn’t. But a lot of (50% ineffective) vaccines were sold. On a more positive note we are becoming more used to taking the drugs we are instructed to take.

One of the first things Obama did in the aftermath of Sandy Hook was to get psychos and counselors hands on the children. How many do you suppose are on some psychotropic drug that may well turn them into real head cases years from now?

How many Sandy Hook children now have a criminal (mental health) “record” that will impede gun ownership? But then that is the point.

The DSM Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Health Disorders is the psychiatric biz’ mental disorder manual. DSM-5 (5th edition) is due out soon with a significant increase in it’s list of maladies. But don’t worry, for every disease there is a Big Pharma drug lurking in grandma’s clothes for each diseased child. Don’t think for a second that Big Pharma and their lackeys at the FDA don’t have their hand in the sudden increase in crazy kids.

Just like the tax code keeps tax lawyers and accountants in business, the DSM allows psychos and drug companies to write their own ticket.

Normal, full of energy kids who are more interested in baseball than math or who are bored to death with dumbed down government education camps now will be officially diagnosed with ADD put on the appropriate drug. Half wit parents will actually glad their kids are being “treated”. Less time will have to be devoted to actually thinking about how to parent.

There are no definitive tests for any mental health issue. Diagnosis rests solely upon the opinion of the psycho doctor. When in doubt, drug. Everybody wins, everyone except the patient.

The progressive agenda is all about control. It will be a lot easier when we are all dependent on our government prescribed drug.

Be seeing you

The 10 May Erie Times editorial advocates investing in Amtrak. It should have said MORE investing. I am sure the Westcott family’s ride to NYC was pleasant and economical as stated. It was economical because they weren’t charged enough. Amtrak loses $Billions every year. The taxpayer makes up the difference. The main reason Amtrak exists is for the Washington to NY and Boston run. Another taxpayer subsidized freebie for government employees as well as Bostonians and New Yorkers used to living off the rest of us. This more of that wealth redistribution thing of which our president is so very fond.
Indeed, the Cato Institute says that it would be cheaper to provide individual commercial plane fare for the outlaying runs.
That is bad.
The editorial cites a white paper stating more growth would occur if tracks, tracks, signal system and stations were improved. In other words, the whole system need rebuilt. Where do $Billions of regular yearly taxpayer subsidies go? Apparently not towards increasing efficiency. But like I said, this is a typical government operation.
The government has been running Amtrak for decades and it only gets worse. To get a visual of what has been accomplished we only have to look at the editorial… our own station-”dim and unappealing, and doesn’t offer overnight parking”- and it only comes out at night. How many more lifetimes will we have to wait for a decent station where one can board in daylight?
Like most things where Washington sticks it’s nose, it doesn’t belong in the train biz.
How to make Amtrak better? Just give the whole away to someone who actually knows what they were doing. No one with any sense would pay much for this loser.

The marathon bombing film footage and photos posted on the web make it plain that the marathon was loaded with security and probably bomb sniffing dogs. Either:

The effort was proactive or

there was some hint of a plan or

this was another sting operation gone bad.

Either way, there was a massive failure.

The first and foremost task of the “authorities” will be to deflect blame. Hence the recent comments regarding the lack of taggants in the fireworks powder as opposed to why this was permitted to occur in the first place. It must be embarrassing for the mighty para-military security forces to have been trumped by dime store surveillance cameras and a retired person checking his boat. The FBI had one of the perpetrators in their grasp and let him slip through. It may have been legitimate to drop surveillance of Tamerlane at the time, but it looks bad. To have a government agency, especially the FBI, look bad is the original unforgivable sin.

We won’t get any more information than is deemed necessary. The main stream media will be governments’ useful idiot. No change there.

The internet will be the only place where the truth will out. The perfect venue for the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CISPA) …to protect us from too many facts.

Don’t accept spoon-fed tripe. We will have to reach far for the truth. It won’t come easily.

Be seeing you.

Some stores can use your smartphone to track where you stop and tailor subsequent ads. I have a smart phone. I have never turned on the GPS. I no longer use a data plan. I still use the Tune In radio app. One of the things it tells you is that it tracks your phone calls. A post I recently read describes smartphones as surveillance tools that also allow you to make phone calls.

Google mines data like Dobsy in Treasure of the Sierra Madre. They troll for unprotected wifi while photographing your street and home. Bad news.

Facebook is breaking new surveillance ground. Their latest project is the graph search. It lets government types search for everyone that mentions a key word (like “ammunition), or “Likes” a particular website.

See the details here. To quote the author:

This graph search “feature” was more than likely funded via the intelligence community for their and the military’s benefit. They call it “population centric ISR,” ISR being an acronym for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.

Now, facebook (and oh, do you use your facebook id to login to other sites? Tsk. Tsk.) has just turned itself into the biggest intelligence tool in the world. It’s not that they haven’t already been monitoring, they have. Stay safe out there…you know who’s watching!

Mark Zuckerberg didn’t get to be a billionaire by being a nice guy.

Yes, I have a Facebook page. Mainly to keep tabs on a limited group of folks and as a vehicle for this blog. There will be no pictures. I will never “like” a site nor log in anywhere using Facebook again.

Be seeing you

All PACS are not alike and the differences are important. Let us look at some of the more influential rogues.

PACS are not the most desirable of organizations but they do represent groups views. The government is literally Daddy WARbucks and everyone competes for their share of the taxpayers’ stolen dollars.

The NRA buys influence, at least that is what one hears from the lamestream media. You don’t hear that about the service employees union or the fraternal order of police. Sure, the NRA puts money in campaign coffers just like the service employees or the fop. The NRA doesn’t buy influence, they affect the vote. They publicize who does what. They shine the light and politicians, like the vampires they are, do not like the light. That makes Washington afraid of the voter, as it should be. I read there have been 70 million background checks since inauguration day. That is a big voting block, almost as big as government employees or welfare recipients.

The media wants us to think politicians are afraid of the NRA but they are really afraid of whom they represent. Voters.

Unions are a different story. This is where government, especially this administration, does the vote buying. The promises of higher minimum wages, more free (taxpayer and consumer paid for) benefits and more labor biased legislation buys votes and contributions.

Hollywood is a democratic/progressive cashcow. You don’t hear much about Hollywood sex, drugs and violence from Capital Hill nor the White House in reference to recent events.

One might think evermore complex laws such as the tax code and Obamacare are not a good thing. Bar associations and lawyers love more laws. They contribute heavily to Obama. The more complex the law, the better. It makes for good business. The tax code: otherwise known as the Accountant and Tax Lawyer Full Employment Act.

Government employees, sadly, nearly equal private employees in numbers. That is a big union. More and bigger (meaning expensive to the few who pay taxes) government programs equals more government employee job security. I don’t imagine many government employees vote Republican nor Libertarian.

The AMA and Big Pharma. These PACS are big and really scary. I can buy a 200 mph Lambo no questions asked if I have the scratch but must pay a doctor for prescription for effective cough syrup. Much goes on behind the curtain. The FDA does no testing. They use data supplied by drug companies to decide what goes on the market. We know nothing about why a procedure or drug is approved for the market, until something goes wrong. Here is where PAC money really means life or death.

Am I the only one that thinks something isn’t right when the side effect of an anti-depressant is suicidal thought?

There has been much discussion in the internet media of how normal, active kids are put on ADD drugs because they don’t “conform”. Indeed Sandy Hook saw an invasion of counselors and no doubt psychiatrists ready to drug up every elementary student deemed affected. Business is good these days.

When I read in the internet news about mass shootings the one word that crops up more and more is ZOLOFT. Washington gets paid not to read the side effects list.

Be seeing you

Marriage is a strictly religious concept. It is not mentioned in the Constitution and the Federal government has no business addressing it. Period.
There is only one Guy in charge of marriage and he resides in a higher place than Washington or Harrisburg. Marriage is between you and the Big Guy’s local representative.
The only reason state and local governments got in on the marriage act is licensing. Licensing as in taxing and control. Control of who can do what and how much it will cost you. It is what government is all about.
Government regulation, as it always does, has turned a beautiful thing like the concept a loving lifelong bond into ghastly spaghetti plate of costly regulation and now a supreme court case.
Civil unions are fine. If you and your mate want to enter into a contractual relationship with an agreement on the legalities in life, great. Go for it.
Unfortunately the problem with civil unions, like marriage, is government sees a regulation laden cash-cow there too.
Government knows best and is here to help.
Consider yourself warned.

Be seeing you

How long are you going to ignore the lies in the East Anglia U emails? It is hard to ignore the Daily Mail admitting global warming is a pack of lies.

See here

which contains this, text emphasis added.

global warming graph

Steadily climbing orange and red bands on the graph show the computer predictions of world temperatures used by the official United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

The estimates – given with 75 per cent and 95 per cent certainty – suggest only a five per cent chance of the real temperature falling outside both bands.

But when the latest official global temperature figures from the Met Office are placed over the predictions, they show how wrong the estimates have been, to the point of falling out of the ‘95 per cent’ band completely.

The graph shows in incontrovertible detail how the speed of global warming has been massively overestimated. Yet those forecasts have had a ruinous impact on the bills we pay, from heating to car fuel to huge sums paid by councils to reduce carbon emissions.

The eco-debate was, in effect, hijacked by false data. The forecasts have also forced jobs abroad as manufacturers relocate to places with no emissions targets.

A version of the graph appears in a leaked draft of the IPCC’s landmark Fifth Assessment Report due out later this year. It comes as leading climate scientists begin to admit that their worst fears about global warming will not be realised.

Have you ever thought “shouldn’t there be more plant and animal life if there is more carbon”?

Apparently there is. See here

I figure there has been climate change going on for about 12-15 billion years. I figure Greenland was called Greenland for a reason. I figure there is a rea$on why East Anglia Univer$ity and profe$$or Mann don’t admit publicly what they admit privately in leaked email$. That their climate model$ can’t explain pa$t warming and cooling cycle$ let alone what i$ happening now or in the future. I figure there i$ a rea$on why inefficient bio-fuel$ are being promoted at the expen$e of badly needed food crop$ and wildlife habitat

What do you figure?

I am beginning to think Whomever put all those biological fuels in the ground knew what He was doing.

Be $eeing you
