What is worse than the FDA? The Senate creating S 3187 an FDA Bill.

The Senate passed 96-1 bill S 3187 authorizing $6.4B in FDA user fees over five years. The bill seeks to prevent shortages and spur new drug development. How, one may ask, does added legislation and user fees spur development? I don’t know either.Added fees certainly will not reduce consumer cost. It won’t add to drug company costs. Companies do not pay fees (taxes), they merely collect them from us and pass them along to the Leviathan.

Penalties will be stiffened for counterfeit drugs. “Counterfeit” is no doubt meant to include low-cost effective imports. Senator Bernard Sanders I-VT was the only no vote. He says the bill does not do enough to lower drug costs. Very astute. My first thought is that an Independent would have some inherent sense. But then there is Joe Lieberman.

So you think you have the Senate figured out. Then they go ahead and kill an amendment to the above bill that would require supplement companies to register with and come under the thumb of the FDA. This is very strange as the FDA and AMA want to put the screws to (regulate) those free-spirited supplement providers. Dietitians are pushing for legislation to make it illegal for anyone other than registered dietitians to recommend supplements. This prohibitions include your doctor and pharmacist.

The human race did pretty well before the FDA and I think we would be better off without their burdensome, costly regulations and excessive mandated waiting times for new products.

H.R. 4133 – All Bow to Netanyahu

The House has passed H.R. 4133, an AIPAC designed, Israel firster dream bill. Ron Paul and John Dingell are the only reps that voted no in a limited debate, quick vote session. There must be enough Muslims in Michigan to negate AIPAC. Hmm… they are not so bad after all! The bill, in a nutshell, obligates US to keeping the Israel defenses up to date, supplying a $1Billion missile defense system and has language that supports Israel’s membership in NATO. We are of course obligated to defend fellow NATO members in time of (Iranian) war. A major reason for the bill no doubt. Defend Israel by ourselves because the US essentially is NATO. The other members ran out of ammo playing in the Libyan sandbox. We are to veto any resolutions, presumably the UN variety, critical of Israel. The validity of the criticism is apparently irrelevant. Demand your Senators to kill this. Mine won’t. Casey and Toomey are empire builders and not unfamiliar with the taste of Israeli boot leather. The House once again kneels before President Netanyahu. Agenda 21-The Enabler of the New World Order

I have seen more references to Agenda 21 in my on-line go to places. Considering what we have leading this country I can see why. George Soros, a NWO cheerleader, just gave $25M to his Open Society pro Obama PACs. It is time to start worrying again.

I remember seeing “Get US out of the UN” signs years ago. The “whackos” with those signs in their yards had foresight. The New World Order in a nutshell is one, UN run, world government. The concept of sustainable development is it’s siren.

The International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI) is the mechanism to implement Agenda 21′s sustainable development or smart growth on the local level. Meadville PA, Allegheny County and Cleveland Ohio have signed on.

Essentially what this proposed environmental covenant does is it takes the sustainable development principles underlying Agenda 21 and turns them into global constitutional law.

All parties to this new constitution would be forced to turn their nations into centrally planned societies where all decisions about everything are evaluated within the framework of sustainable development.

If the United States became a party to this treaty, America would become a paradise for control freaks. Basic decisions about what you eat, about what you wear, about where you live, about how big a family you can have and about what activities you could engage in on a daily basis would be dictated by the mandates in the global constitution.

Participating in a UN-advocated planning process would very likely bring out many of the conspiracy-fixated groups and individuals in our society such as the National Rifle Association, citizen militias and some members of Congress. It is not a good sign when the all-mighty UN feels it has to wear a mask. When you hear “sustainability” or “smart growth” know that you are being led down the path to subjugation.

This was obviously an election year dog and pony show. No honest evaluation of the Secret Agreement is available. The administration did more jukes and jives than OJ Simpson when describing what the Secret Agreement contained. The article in the 2 May Erie Times is from the Associated Press. It is drivel, spoon fed by the administration. Let’s take it point by point.

The US commits to supporting Afghanistan’s etc, etc. This means you and I are bankrolling fiascos and lining the pockets of a world-class corrupt government. Throwing good money, ten years worth, after bad is what government does best. The US does this better this anyone. “Commitment” sounds Samaritan-like. The sheeple will buy in.

The US commits to strengthening accountability, oversight and transparency. This coming from:The creators of Fast and Furious, the Second Amendment killing program where the Attorney General lies and refuses release pertinent documents. The administration that only now admits to having a drone program but won’t admit to killing thousands of civilians. The FBI that entraps morons by having them plant fake bombs. Then brag about how they saved us from morons with fake bombs. That is how the FBI and DHS justify shredding the Constitution. The administration that is having the military train with US civilian police to practice rounding up dissenters to fill FEMA camps. It won’t be pretty when the economic SHTF. Jesse Ventura’s “Conspiracy Theories” program did an episode on FEMA camps. He pointed out the razor wire was arranged on the fence to keep the people in, not the bad guys out. The lamestream media won’t touch this. The masses do not bother to know or care. Government is their protector. It hands out free “government money”.

The US does not seek permanent military bases. Obama says We won’t be building any permanent bases. Excuse me, they are already built! I don’t know which I hate more-the lies or Big Brother thinking I am stupid enough to believe them. The bases aren’t going anywhere. The Military and arms dealers will continue to run the show. Oh yeah, there is oil nearby, remember?

Allows the possibility of keeping forces in Afghanistan for training and targeting Al Qaeda. Here we go! Depending on who is talking there are 3-5000 US troops still in Iraq. There are 15,000 US troops waiting in Kuwait. We aren’t leaving the Middle East. Ten years in Afghanistan, longer than it took to win two world wars, and the Afghan security forces are totally worthless. I think there will be a lot of “trainers” in country for a long time. But that was always the plan. Al Qaeda has been a dead duck in Afghanistan. We are fighting the Taliban. The Taliban never attacked us. But we attack them. The MIC never fails to find a terrorist (justification for its existence) when it needs one. The obedient media doesn’t bring this up. There is oil nearby, remember?

No commitment to specific future troop or funding levels. But I thought we were leaving. How can this be an issue? We are the guest that never leaves. We are keeping our options open, for Afghanistan’s benefit of course. There is oil nearby, remember?

Commits the US to seek funding …to support security forces and economic assistance. This means you and I are bankrolling fiascos and lining the pockets of a world-class corrupt government. There is oil nearby, remember?

The Ruger SR22 Is the Cat’s Meow

Let me start by saying I have not had the pleasure of actually handling one of these beauties. But it sure looks good. Polymer guns are nice. I like Glocks because they seem to fit my small hand well. Double stack and Sig grips in general do not suit me. This includes many Ruger models. But I am a 1911 fan and have always wanted a compact .22 version. Kimber and Springfield Armory make great compact large caliber 1911′s. Kimber offers a .22 conversion in a full size. The new incarnation of High Standard offers various .22 models in a 1911 style design but none I would call compact. The Walther P22 is very tempting and according to the relatively good reviews I have found on line is very reliable. This glowing report I see on youtube regarding the Ruger SR22 has me excited. It appears to be quite comparable to the P22 with the exception that the reviewer experienced no failures after several hundred rounds of varying brands of ammo. This is quite novel, particularly in the break-in period which is generally considered the first 200-500 rounds. The other high points in my mind are adjustable sights, a good looking feedramp (no doubt contributing to no failures) and the ability to reverse the rear sight eliminating two of the 3 sight dots. Focusing on the front sight is more important than being distracted by trying to line up a few dots. The only downers I see are shared by most semi-autos. Too much trigger takeup and reset. A DA first shot and SA following (lawsuit protection no doubt). The safe on position is backward, that is down. The magazine disconnect is supposed to be a safety feature and I guess there are enough idiots out there but…there is the off chance that one feels the need to replace the magazine before shooting the gun empty and may be pressed to fire a round before this action can be completed. That being said I feel much better. Check out the SR22. That is what I am doing today. It is USA made as is the Walther. It is a good excuse to put off cutting grass.

Update: I had forgotten that Ruger has stopped taking orders thanks to having an anti-Second Amendment, Constitutional lawyer for a president, the new gun market is going crazy. I could not find an SR22. The latest is Ruger may take orders again in the Fall.

Obama Targets Abuses-Will He Include Embargos and Co-lateral Bugsplat?

According to the Wall Street Journal here Obama is concerned over human right atrocities. He didn’t mention the UN (US) embargo of Iraq that killed 500,000 children by disease and malnutrition. Madeleine Albright had no problem with it, I guess Obama doesn’t either. Will we hear about the 15,000 or higher civilian casualty figures in Iraq? You remember Iraq, the country we invaded that was not involved in 9/11 nor had any WMDs. Then there is that nasty bugsplat where we use drones to kill where we have no real idea who is on the receiving end. Think about what is being targeted the first time there is a drone sighted over your town.

The Occupy Movement, the anti-christ and “Free Government Money”

It was pretty obvious the occupy movement consisted of liberal, “free government money” types. Half the population pays no tax and many get earned income credit, free government money. The top 20% pays 80% of the tax bill. See here. But never let facts get in the way of a good rant. Gee, lets pretend we are the 60′s hippies we have always dreamed of being and have a sit-in. Especially when you are looking for freebies from a communist led government. Then there are the Ayers. Sorry, I digress. I thought …”wow” …all these protests popping up and they sure look well-organized. Food, power supplies, leaders, organization – they have it together. Reading in The Daily Bell I can see why. George, the anti-christ, Soros was bankrolling the operation. Who better to spread the lies about who pays taxes and who doesn’t. That explains why no one protested the Fed. Don’t knock the recession enabler. It is doing a fine job of paving the way for the NWO. Occupiers are the unwitting cadre implementing the Cloward -Piven strategy.

How does this sound? Let’s stop castigating someone who pays 15% because that is what the tax code says he has to pay. How many occupiers who pay nothing or get free “government money” volunteer to pay more than what the code says they should? Instead of 15 per-centers paying more, let 30 per-centers pay less. How come I don’t hear that from, middle class hero, Mr. Transparency, Obama?

How would these occupiers would feel about being led by the nose by “one world, UN government, new world order” George Soros? Somehow I think they would be proud little puppets.

Why does the IRS need $500M to enforce Obamacare? This is very scary. What is the IRS/Obamacare relationship? The enforcer. Obviously all your private healthcare information is readily available to the IRS. I don’t even want to think about it.

Think about this. Like the above link says, even if we can’t repeal a repulsive law, we can pressure congress not to fund it. That is the secret we aren’t supposed to know. Making it work for us is obviously quite a challenge. That is what blogs, letters to the editor, emails to representatives and angry voices on TV and radio help us to do.

Remember even if your weak kneed, scum bucket of a congressperson regularly votes your Constitutional Rights away (like mine Casey, Toomey and Kelly), they can still veto appropriations. But don’t count on it unless it is a voice vote.
