here are some good tips.  I suggest getting your feet wet by using my DDT system

Ditch the smartphone at least the main tracking system, the data plan and use Tor or something similar when on wifi

Drop the social media data mining system

Thou shall not use plastic-cash is king and try not to use ATMs when travelling.  You may only be going to a ball game but it is none of Jimmy Clapper’s business.  Buying ammo or your favourite bourbon with a credit card is not smart.
