Epic win for you fountain pen lovers
I have a Kaweco Sport with XF, F and 1.1 stub nibs. All were miserable. Dry and scratchy. The method described below and figure 8s on Goulet Pens micro-mesh paper turned them around. Just take it easy.
If you view reviews on The Pen Habit or SBRE Brown and the associated comments you will see less than perfect Kaweco nibs are not uncommon.
You shouldn’t have to do this but there ya go.
