Musk Releases ‘Hunter Biden’ Files: Tweets Deleted At Behest Of Team Biden, Exec Was Key Behind Censorship Decision

Posted by M. C. on December 3, 2022

“Twitter took extraordinary steps to suppress the story, removing links and posting warnings that it may be ‘unsafe,’” Taibbi continued. “They even blocked its transmission via direct message, a tool hitherto reserved for extreme cases, e.g. child pornography.”

Twitter CEO Elon Musk released information through journalist Matt Taibbi Friday afternoon showing that Twitter was working in conjunction with then-Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden’s team, removing tweets that team Biden wanted deleted.

Musk said that he decided to release the information because it was “necessary to restore public trust” in the platform after it censored the New York Post’s bombshell report about Hunter Biden’s laptop just weeks before the 2020 presidential election.

Musk quote retweeted Taibbi’s multi-tweet thread on Twitter, writing: “Here we go!!”

Taibbi began by explaining that the company was “slowly forced to add … tools for controlling speech [that] were designed to combat the likes of spam and financial fraudsters.”

“Slowly, over time, Twitter staff and executives began to find more and more uses for these tools. Outsiders began petitioning the company to manipulate speech as well: first a little, then more often, then constantly,” Taibbi said. “By 2020, requests from connected actors to delete tweets were routine. One executive would write to another: ‘More to review from the Biden team.’ The reply would come back: ‘Handled.’”

The Incremental Normalization Of Police Murderbots Probably Needs More Attention

Posted by M. C. on December 2, 2022

Flesh-and-blood armed goons will hesitate to fire upon their countrymen in a domestic uprising. They can be persuaded to side with the people and oust the sitting government. They have beating hearts and aren’t covered in armor

One of the most under-discussed topics in the world right now is how governments have been incrementally pacing the public toward accepting the use of police robots that kill people.

The city of San Francisco has voted to legalize the use of killbots in specific emergency situations like active shooters and suicide bombers, with high-ranking officers making the call as to whether their use is warranted.

“Police in San Francisco will be allowed to deploy potentially lethal, remote-controlled robots in emergency situations,” The Guardian reports. “The controversial policy was approved after weeks of scrutiny and a heated debate among the city’s board of supervisors during their meeting on Tuesday.”

“The proposed policy does not lay out specifics for how the weapons can and cannot be equipped, leaving open the option to arm them,” The Guardian reports, adding that the current plan is to equip them with “explosive charges” rather than firearms.

We are seeing more and more expansions in the normalization of militarized police robots, to the point where there are now significant escalations from year to year. Last year I wrote a piece on the way police departments in the US and Canada have been normalizing the use of quadrupedal robots (disingenuously labeled “dogs” for PR purposes) for tasks like surveilling hostage situations and enforcing Covid restrictions. A few months later I had to write another one on this trend because arms manufacturers had begun designing firearms specifically to be mounted on those same quadruped bots. The year before during the 2020 George Floyd protests it was revealed that police had been using drones to surveil demonstrations in US cities, including the Predator drone normally used overseas by the US military.

Now the Oakland Police Department is pushing for the use of robots armed with shotguns. Police have already used a robot armed with a bomb to kill a suspect in Texas. Every year we’re seeing more steps toward the normalized ubiquitousness of unmanned weapons systems for domestic use in western civilization.

It makes sense that the US, whose police force is more heavily funded than almost any other nation’s military force, is leading this charge.

Hawley Tears Into Biden Admin, Democrats, Establishment GOP After Senate Imposes Labor Deal On Railroad Workers

Posted by M. C. on December 2, 2022

Government shouldn’t be sticking it’s nose in to begin with.

https://www.dailywire.com/news/hawley-tears-into-biden-admin-democrats-establishment-gop-after-senate-imposes-labor-deal-on-railroad-workers

By  John Rigolizzo

Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) let all sides have it Thursday after the Senate voted to impose a new union contract on railroad workers.

In several tweets and a statement posted to Twitter, Hawley unleashed on the Biden administration, Democrats in the Senate, and establishment Republicans for voting to impose the new union contract on railroad employees. The Senate passed the bill 80-15 to put the contract into effect, avoiding a potentially catastrophic rail strike. But the Senate blocked a provision that would have given workers seven days of paid sick leave.

“Today the Senate had the chance to stand up for railroad workers who frequently risk their lives and health on the job, just trying to support their families,” Hawley said in a statement Thursday evening. “Instead, the Senate sided with Joe Biden. Workers were asking for a handful of sick days per year. Biden and the Senate said no. I’d like to know how many of the White House staff, and how many members of Congress and their staff, are still ‘working remotely,’ all while they deny railroad workers more than one day of sick leave a year. The House of Representatives, for heaven’s sake, is still proxy voting—with many members not showing up to work at all—because of the Covid ‘health risk.’ But railroad workers can’t have more than one day of sick leave. And it wasn’t as if workers were asking Congress to intervene on their behalf. No, this was the White House and management and union bosses teaming up to use federal law to force workers to accept contracts they rejected in negotiations. And then people in DC wonder why working Americans think the system is rigged.”

“Today was also a chance for Republicans to stand up for working people and against the DC establishment,” he added. “They missed it. But make no mistake, the people who put on overalls or pick up a shovel or stand on the assembly line every day are worth fighting for. And the Republican Party will have no future without them.”

Good Riddance: Elaine Luria’s Exit From Power

Posted by M. C. on December 2, 2022

The congresswoman spent her brief tenure on Capitol Hill swimming in donations from weapons manufacturers and advocating for war, and now she’s out of a job

Congress: Two sides, same coin

Lenny Broytman

Elaine Luria epitomizes the rot of the Democratic Party.

For all of its fearmongering and virtue signaling about the existential dangers of allowing control of our government to slip into Republican hands, the DNC is comprised largely of individuals who very closely resemble their pals on the right. Luria, who has represented Virginia’s second congressional district since 2018, is the poster child for this brand of Republican-lite governing. In January, she’ll be a private citizen once again.

Luria wasn’t exactly a household name during her time in Congress, but gained a lot more visibility this year with her role on the January 6th Committee. In many ways, it is this part of her resume that makes Luria such a fascinating breed of Washington insider. She was able to clear the easiest, least controversial bar imaginable – yes, Luria acknowledged that violently storming the Capitol to overturn the results of an election is bad – but is a dangerous, right-of-center war hawk by nearly every other standard.

Luria is far from alone. Many other Democrats in the beltway fit this mold, which makes calling out the largely imaginary distinction between the two parties extremely important.

On the heels of her loss to Jennifer Kiggans, the nurse practitioner who’d served in the Virginia Senate, let’s examine who Luria actually is and what this hawkish, dangerous representative stands for.

How Many Different Countries Should the US Now Be Fixing, Changing, and Interfering In?

Posted by M. C. on December 2, 2022

In 2016, Donald Trump ran a campaign that denounced the foreign policy views of the establishment wings of both the Democratic and Republican Parties. Calling his perspective “America First,” Trump insisted that it is not the role of the US to go around the world changing or “improving” the governments of other countries — especially given how many unmet needs Americans have at home. This view had similarities with the long foreign policy view on the left called “anti-imperialism.” Yet now, large numbers of supporters of each party seem eager to interfere in and alter the governments of a wide range of countries — from Russia and Iran to China and Cuba to Venezuela and Qatar — on top of all the countries the US is bombing, arming, funding or otherwise interfering in. Can any of this be reconciled with Trump’s “America First” vision or the left’s “anti-imperialism” principle? It is hard to see how.

Trade war averted? Macron gets Biden to ‘tweak’ his industrial subsidies – POLITICO

Posted by M. C. on December 2, 2022

Foreign countries complain they don’t get enough US taxpayer money. Washington fixes that.

https://www.politico.eu/article/emmanuel-macron-joe-biden-us-france-lands-unexpected-concession-on-inflation-reduction-act/

BY CLEA CAULCUTT

French President Emmanuel Macron snatched an unexpected win from his U.S counterpart during a visit to Washington on Thursday, getting Joe Biden to suggest that European companies could benefit from a controversial American subsidies package.

Fury has been boiling over in Europe after it became clear that Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act — a $369 billion package for green industry — could drain investment out of the EU and into the U.S. Big car-making nations like France and Germany had complained that the U.S. law was potentially illegal for discriminating against foreign companies in the electric vehicle sector and encouraging consumers to “Buy American.”

Macron’s visit to the U.S. had been trailed as a doomed last-ditch effort to secure a truce over Washington’s largesse before the EU and U.S. would lurch into a subsidy race or full-blown trade war with countervailing tariffs.

Europeans have been pressing to receive the same rights as Mexicans and Canadians to benefit from the green cash bonanza, but with little prospect of success. For weeks, the French have been campaigning for European partners to agree to their own rival subsidy package, including a “Buy European” component.

How You Aren’t Like The Rest & Why That Shouldn’t Surprise You – LewRockwell

Posted by M. C. on December 2, 2022

5.) then independent of whether you win or lose in that immediate challenge, you use it to grow into someone better and bigger — no laurels rested upon, no spilt milk cried over — only quick acceptance of reality, quick growth into the best you can be, quick rising to the challenges life puts in your path.

https://www.lewrockwell.com/2022/12/allan-stevo/how-you-arent-like-the-rest-why-that-shouldnt-surprise-you/

Did you really think this was the culture that would say “No!” to the jab?

Because a lot of people write me in a state of total disbelief. That’s a problem. Disbelief enfeebles you. It makes it hard to assess reality and respond accordingly. Analysis paralysis writ large. At least 2/3 of would-be freedom fighters are stuck in a state of disbelief, which is exactly where your opponent wants you.

They call themselves freedom fighters, but watching videos online is not freedom fighting. Clicking around for the next jaw dropping example of degeneracy is not freedom fighting. It, again, is where your opponent wants you.

How The Food You Eat Paved The Way For This

You may be shocked that so many people fell for the jab.

Really? Is that really a surprise. Really? Did you really think this historically unprecedented diabetic and obese population would refuse toxic crap plunged into their arms?

Have you seen a grocery store lately?

I’m not just talking about shopping around the perimeter of the store. In the average grocery store, there are only about twenty or thirty items that I consider non-toxic enough to pass for food. I can’t do much better in some of the upscale ones either. And that stuff is all fairly low margin.

Grocery stores make their money off of slowly killing you by feeding you toxic sludge. Do you get that?

Was that really the society you were sure would refuse the jab?

They were fed a quick and easy, safe and effective way of being 100% certain that their health decisions would not be able to harm them. That’s a siren song you may listen to at times too.

How Belt Size Paved The Way For This

Or the mask? Does it shock you that people still wear the mask? Governor 5-foot-6, 385 pounds, of the fine state of Illinois, went out on stage for 2.7 years telling people that letting mom die alone, not going to work anymore, putting a toxic, IQ-lowering slave mask on your kids was all more important than losing a few pounds and taking better care of yourself?

Some people stayed home and watched more TV, checked out of life more, played more video games, did more drinking, more drugging, more porn, and all around made themselves into less than they were when the Ides of March 2020 came along.

You might fall for some of those sometimes too.

How Second Amendment Culture Paved The Way For This

Or how about this. The Second Amendment people who are divided up by

1.) bootlickers,

2.) renegades, and

3.) unknown.

Almost all of 1, a good portion of 3, and some of 2 went along with the nonsense of the past three years. If you knew much about gun people before the Ides of March 2020, you were amazed it wasn’t 99% of them, since so much effort has gone into the idea that guns are to be licensed and legal and compliant.

No!

Wrong!

Error!

Fail!

That idea is so toxic.

God gives you the right to own a gun. That’s all there is too it. And any fool who has spent the past decades talking about being “reasonable” in the same sentence as a gun helped make this era come to fruition. The Ides of March 2020 didn’t come out of nowhere.

A gun is made to take a man’s face apart and to leave his three year old child an orphan raised by a devastated mom in a broken society. There’s nothing reasonable about a gun. There’s nothing but lies, cowardice, and obedience in owning a gun and complying with gun laws.

In fact, any gun owner who doesn’t intentionally break at least a few gun laws just to keep himself sharp is being trained for future compliance.

Recognizing that, there has been a long, slow assault on the personality of gun owners.

How many gun nuts would stand up in a revolution — about half as many of those gun nuts who refused a face mask. That’s all. What’s that 5% maybe? The rest you can be pretty sure are cowards, unless they’ve had a change of heart. How about the other half of the unmasked? Well, we are in the middle of a revolution. It is here whether you like it or not. The moment that half of them realize that, they will back down, not initially realizing they were being so disobedient.
