This TINY trick will SPEED up your computer!

Posted by M. C. on February 18, 2023

An old computer is the perfect place to expand your horizons and not be subject to MS snooping. Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Fedora etc can be had for little to no cost. If you have the space most of these will let you install along side Windows. You just have to pick the one you want when turning on. There will be limitations just as with Tiny Windows. https://www.shoplinuxonline.com/

The Forgotten Terrorist Pretext of the Vietnam War | The Libertarian Institute

Since 9/11, terrorism has become the ultimate entitlement program for America’s political elite. Whether it is illegally spying on Americans or blowing Somali dissidents to pieces, invoking terrorism provides all the cover needed for Washington policymakers. But the disastrous results of granting politicians a blank check to fight terrorism should have been undeniable almost 60 years ago.

Back in the 1960s, terrorism was what the communists did. Anti-terrorist moral fervor and ideological blinders propelled the U.S. into its biggest foreign policy blunder since World War II.

As the French Foreign Legion struggled to reconquer Vietnam in the wake of World War II, the U.S. government constantly embellished the storyline to demonize the communist opposition. A CIA operative provided materials for a massive bomb that ripped through a main square in Saigon in 1952. A Life magazine photographer was waiting on the scene, and his resulting snap appeared with a caption blaming the carnage on Viet Minh Communists. The New York Times headlined its report: “Reds’ Time Bombs Rip Saigon Center.” The bombing was touted as “one of the most spectacular and destructive single incidents in the long history of revolutionary terrorism” committed by “agents here of the Vietminh.” The press coverage boosted public support for U.S. government aid to the French army fighting the Communists. A Vietnamese warlord named General Trinh Minh Thé, a CIA collaborator, claimed credit for the bomb but the U.S. media ignored his statement.

In the wake of the French defeat in 1954, U.S. military advisors poured into Vietnam. In 1961, President John F. Kennedy declared: “Now we have a problem in making our power credible, and Vietnam is the place.” The Kennedy administration sought credibility by profoundly deceiving the American people and Congress regarding its Vietnam policy. JFK violated the limits on the number of American military advisors established in the 1954 Geneva peace treaty between the French and the Vietnamese communists. He also deceived the American public by mislabeling the growing U.S. contingent in South Vietnam as advisors at a time when they were becoming actively engaged in fighting.

The US government regarded the South Vietnamese government headed by Ngo Dinh Diem as corrupt, oppressive, and inept. The Pentagon Papers described a May 8, 1963 debacle in the city of Hue, South Vietnam: “Government troops fire on a Buddhist protest demonstration, killing nine and wounding fourteen. The incident triggers a nationwide Buddhist protest and a crisis of popular confidence for the Diem regime. [The Government of South Vietnam] maintains the incident was an act of [Viet Cong] terrorism.”

The Diem government was outraged that the Buddhists demanded legal equality with Catholics and the right to fly the Buddhist flag. In August 1963, South Vietnamese Special Forces “carried out midnight raids against Buddhist pagodas throughout the country. More than 1,400 people, mostly monks were arrested and many of them were beaten,” according to the Pentagon Papers. The CIA was bankrolling these Special Forces, which were supposed to be used for covert operations against the Viet Cong or North Vietnam, not for religious repression. Diem’s terrorizing of the Buddhists swayed the U.S. to back a coup that led to his assassination a few months later.

The Forgotten Lessons of The Military’s Forced Anthrax Vaccination of its Pilots

Posted by M. C. on February 18, 2023

https://open.substack.com/pub/amidwesterndoctor/p/the-forgotten-lessons-of-the-militarys?utm_source=direct&r=iw8dv&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web

A Midwestern Doctor

Executive Summary:

  • One of the most troubling consequences of the COVID-19 vaccines are the implications for airline safety– there have been numerous harrowing cases recently involving airline pilots having heart attacks or dying, which, almost resulted in  a catastrophe .
  • A strong case can be made that much of what we have seen with the COVID-19 vaccine policies and mandates were beta-tested by the Department of Defense (DoD) with the remarkably dangerous anthrax vaccines 20 to 30 years ago.
  • Although maintaining the health of pilots is critically important for the military, continuing the anthrax vaccine program took priority over the pilots’ welfare.
  • Observing how the military handled these issues is thus quite instructive for comprehending the gross malfeasance that can be seen in the U.S. government’s current actions.

Introduction

Now that the narrative is beginning to shift, those who supported it are grasping for reasons to explain their incorrect decisions to support lockdowns, uphold the denial of early treatment for COVID-19, and advocate for perpetual vaccine mandates. For example:

I, in turn, have identified two characteristics that kept some people from being pulled into the narrative early on, and in many cases, one without the other was not sufficient to prevent a person from vaccinating (e.g., I know quite a few people who had serious objections to the childhood vaccine program, but nonetheless chose to receive a COVID vaccine).

First, the majority of people utilize the “social proof” heuristic, whereby they typically make decisions based on the experiences of their peers. The social proof heuristic (commonly associated with the Asch experiments) helps to explain why a nonsensical message being widely disseminated throughout the media, rapidly results in many members of the public then adopting it, and why the medical profession can often become incapable of seeing evidence that challenges a prevailing orthodoxy.

Conversely, there is always a minority of the population who do not require social proof to make decisions, and they will typically be the first to adopt a new trend (such as buying a stock before everyone else catches on and its value skyrockets). I have found that virtually every individual I’ve gotten to know who bucked the COVID-19 narrative has shared this personality trait.

Second, the same types of crimes tend to be perpetrated repeatedly on the public, so those who become wise to them are less likely to fall for them in the future. In the case of COVID-19, almost every single misdeed that we saw transpire had played out in the past (e.g., RFK has done a remarkable job bringing attention to what Anthony Fauci did in the early days of HIV, and how he used an almost identical script for COVID-19). Because of this, if you can learn what transpired before, you can prevent it from happening again, and putting a spotlight on these longstanding issues is a key focus of The Forgotten Side of Medicine.

In addition to the early days of AIDS, one of the most important precedents for the COVID-19 response was the largely forgotten anthrax vaccine debacle.

Gulf War Syndrome (GWS)

The Gulf War was a rapid and overwhelming victory for the United States that had very few battlefield casualties for our armed forces. However, soon after the war, almost 36% of soldiers (approximately 250,000 of the 697,000 who served) came down with a debilitating illness that eventually came to be known as “Gulf War Syndrome (GWS).” Initially, the military gaslighted the veterans by insisting that the illness was due to stress (which for many reasons was nonsensical), and then introduced a variety of contradictory studies to explain what else could be causing GWS.

Although a case can be made for many of the potential causes of GWS, by far the strongest case exists for the experimental anthrax vaccination campaign that was conducted during the Gulf War. This is because GWS was almost nonexistent in the other nations who participated in the Gulf War but did not vaccinate their troops, and an illness identical to GWS was observed in troops who were vaccinated but never left the United States (including those who were vaccinated a decade after the Gulf War).

Will 2023 Be the Year “Climate” Becomes the New COVID?

Posted by M. C. on February 18, 2023

Limits on the amount of meat and dairy you’ll be allowed to consume.

No kidding! A full three new clothing items per person per year. What? You want a jacket for the cold? You selfish planet killer, you!

Create a set of “green” requirements you have to meet for your home to be “carbon neutral” or some hogwash. These requirements will be increasingly outrageous and mean many will be unable to afford the costs of retrofitting their home according to the climate nazis. As a result, these homes will become “stranded assets.”

by Chris MacIntosh

Do we get another virus scare?

Perhaps, but fear not as I’ve the perfect strategy for you. If they lock you down and order you to wear masks, just carry on about your business but take a pile of Jehovah’s Witnesses booklets with you everywhere you go and when approached by some mask nazi, immediately launch into “have you been saved?”

If that doesn’t work, pretend they’re an old lost friend and while smiling broadly ostentatiously and loudly say, “Hey, so good to see you. How’ve you been?” Then proceed to give them a hug, a peck on the cheek, or — if you’re feeling particularly energetic about it all — a passionate smooch. It’ll have them running for cover and allow you to carry on your business because who wants to deal with a crazy person, right?

In all seriousness, I think we’re more likely for now to see the climate nazis go full retard. They’ll shelve Covid for now and bring on some other virus later which will likely do real damage to the now billions with weakened immune systems.

“The urge to save humanity is almost always a false front for the urge to rule.” H. L. MENCKEN

I think at this stage we all know that and can see it coming. The question is more HOW is it coming?

According to the central planners, here’s some of the things we can look forward to.

Limits on the amount of meat and dairy you’ll be allowed to consume.

Don’t worry, it gets better. Clothing yourself and your family.

No kidding! A full three new clothing items per person per year. What? You want a jacket for the cold? You selfish planet killer, you!

What We Know About The US Air Force’s Balloon Party So Far

Posted by M. C. on February 18, 2023

In an article titled “Object downed by US missile may have been amateur hobbyists’ $12 balloon,” The Guardian’s Richard Luscombe reports…

And it looks like that is indeed what happened. On Tuesday the National Security Council’s John Kirby said the “leading explanation” for the three unidentified flying objects that were shot down is that they were “balloons tied to some commercial or benign purpose.” On Thursday President Biden told the press that “The intelligence community’s current assessment is that these three objects were most likely balloons tied to private companies, recreation, or research institutions studying weather or conducting other scientific research.”

Caitlin Johnstone

You know, everyone’s always talking about how the US military is only ever used to kill foreigners for resource control and generate profits for the military-industrial complex, but that’s not entirely true. Turns out the US military is also used for shooting down party balloons.

In an article titled “Object downed by US missile may have been amateur hobbyists’ $12 balloon,” The Guardian’s Richard Luscombe reports the following:

The Northern Illinois Bottlecap Balloon Brigade says one of its hobby craft went “missing in action” over Alaska on 11 February, the same day a US F-22 jet downed an unidentified airborne entity not far away above Canada’s Yukon territory.

In a blogpost, the group did not link the two events. But the trajectory of the pico balloon before its last recorded electronic check-in at 12.48am that day suggests a connection – as well as a fiery demise at the hands of a sidewinder missile on the 124th day of its journey, three days before it was set to complete its seventh circumnavigation.

If that is what happened, it would mean the US military expended a missile costing $439,000 (£365,000) to fell an innocuous hobby balloon worth about $12 (£10).

“The descriptions of all three unidentified objects shot down Feb. 10-12 match the shapes, altitudes and payloads of the small pico balloons, which can usually be purchased for $12-180 each, depending on the type,” writes Steve Trimble for Aviation Week, who first broke the Bottlecap Balloon Brigade story.

“The Chinese are humiliated” 🙃 theguardian.com/us-news/2023/f…

This information would put a bit of a wobble on Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s comments to ABC’s This Week on Sunday that all three of the balloons shot down through the weekend were Chinese surveillance devices, saying “the Chinese were humiliated” by the US catching them in their sinister espionage plot. If the US air force did in fact just spent millions of dollars shooting down American party balloons, it wouldn’t be the Chinese who are humiliated.

The Federal Dietary Wrecking Ball – The Future of Freedom Foundation

Posted by M. C. on February 17, 2023

Those free breakfasts were a linchpin of Michelle Obama’s signature issue, her “Let’s Move” campaign. Michelle Obama received media sainthood for her campaign against child obesity, but even more children are super-sizing nowadays. The percentage of overweight youth rose from 14.9 percent in 2009–10 to 16.6 percent in 2015–16, while the percentage of obese youth rose from 16.9 percent to 18.5 percent, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The New York Times noted in 2020 that reports that the child obesity problem had stabilized were “an illusion. If anything, things have gotten worse.”

Politicians are hellbent on intruding further into Americans’ stomachs. In September, President Biden hosted a White House Summit on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health. A vast array of activists gathered, waiting for Biden to mobilize Washington to open the floodgates to far more food handouts. But their fond hopes did not survive the opening moments of Biden’s speech. If federal spending could abolish hunger, the problem would have vanished long ago. “Government feeds best” has been a disastrous recipe for America.
[Click to Tweet]

“Jackie, are you here? Where’s Jackie? I thought she was going to be here,” Biden pleaded from the podium. He was looking for Rep. Jackie Walorski, a Republican congresswoman from Indiana who died the previous month in a car wreck. The White House issued a condolence statement on her death at the time, but Biden forgot. Biden’s blundering and cognitive challenges were the main media storyline on the summit.

Biden’s bewilderment on Jackie epitomized his cluelessness on the issue of hunger and food aid. The president ended his speech by rambling about being able to “wave a wand” to solve problems. But neither Biden nor the summit attendees admitted the vast collateral damage from a 50+ year surge of federal food aid.

Nixon started it

In 1969, President Richard Nixon held a summit on hunger and received glowing press coverage for proclaiming, “The moment is at hand to put an end to hunger in America itself for all time.” In 1969, three million Americans received food stamps, a burgeoning federal program that cost $228 million that year. In 2021, 41 million people received food stamps, and the program cost $114 billion. Thanks to an array of other subsidies, the federal government is now feeding more than 100 million people.

At the September summit, Biden proclaimed a goal “to end hunger in this country by the year 2030.” The media portrayed this as the first such pledge since the Nixon era — but they forgot one of the biggest train wrecks of the Obama era.

In 2008, presidential candidate Barack Obama promised to end child hunger by 2015. Obama vastly expanded federal school feeding programs with the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. Thanks to that law, all schools with at least 40 percent low-income students were entitled to offer free federally subsidized breakfasts and lunches to all students. First Lady Michelle Obama, who spearheaded the effort, declared in 2010 that because children’s nutrition is so important, “we can’t just leave it up to the parents.”

The great harm of federal school food programs

But schools offered “carb loading” more appropriate for marathon runners than for schoolchildren. Homer Simpson is the patron saint of federal school breakfasts. Donuts, pastries, apple juice, and other high-sugar foods had starring roles in school breakfast menus across the nation. Some school officials scorned parents who protested schools feeding their kids a second breakfast (after they’ve eaten at home) and deluging them with sugary junk.

A 2021 analysis published in the Nutrients journal found that almost all school systems exceeded the dietary guidelines for sugar in breakfasts. Among the most sugar-laden foods routinely given to children were sweetened cereal, flavored milk, toaster pastries, cookies, cakes, and cinnamon buns. The Center for Science in the Public
Interest recently derided public schools for relying on Lucky Charms, Marshmallow Mateys cereal, and Rich’s Chocolate Chip and Cinnamon Ultimate Breakfast Rounds. It is a federal crime for food manufacturers to sell products without nutritional labeling, but the USDA does not require schools to disclose to parents how much sugar is being fed to their kids.

Schools Are Indoctrinating Children Into Believing That They Are in the Wrong Body |

Posted by M. C. on February 17, 2023

The US Department of Education has an Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights, Catherine Lhamon, who is busy at work making sure parents don’t have any rights and are unable to get in the way of her personal agenda of transgendering  children.  She is pushing new Title IX rules that facilitate school boards to encourage gender transitions without awareness or consent from Parents.

Imagine the horror of going through a sex change and then realizing that you are indeed in the wrong body.

https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2023/02/16/schools-are-indoctrinating-children-into-believing-that-they-are-in-the-wrong-body/

Paul Craig Roberts

The US Department of Education has an Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights, Catherine Lhamon, who is busy at work making sure parents don’t have any rights and are unable to get in the way of her personal agenda of transgendering  children.  She is pushing new Title IX rules that facilitate school boards to encourage gender transitions without awareness or consent from Parents.

In other words, Lhamon is using the US Government to impose her personal agenda.  What do you think about that?

Have you ever wondered about the transgender craze that suddenly was upon us?  I went through K-12, 4 years of undergraduate university, and 4 years of graduate school and never heard the issue mentioned.  I never knew or heard of anyone who thought they were the opposite sex, or knew a man who wanted to be a woman or a woman who wanted to be a man.  As a kid I knew a couple of girls, known as “Tom Boys,” who liked to climb trees and would go off the high dive, but that was the extent of it.

It seems that the transgender movement is the result of indoctrination in school.  Teacher advocates give the kids the idea that there is nothing unusual about being born the wrong sex in the wrong body and that so many are that gender transition is a worthy topic.

It seems to have become a big medical business overnight.  Psychiatrists and psychologists are involved.  Pharmaceutical companies sell hormone blockers. Clinics perform sex change operations.  Transgender advocates brand parents “abusive” for not supporting some 12-year old’s implanted idea that a sex change is needed.  As the indoctrination is clearly a form of abuse, where is Child Protective Services?

I read recently that Britain’s Tavistock Centre for transgendering had been ordered closed and that other European countries had reigned in aggressive sex change practices.  Parents are beginning to bring lawsuits about the damage done their children behind their backs.  But transgender advocates argue that kids have a right to “gender privacy” from parents who would’t be supportive of their kids’ transgendering.  What this means is that “kids’ rights” are really the school’s rights, the transgender advocate’s rights, the transgender specialist’s rights, everyone’s rights but the parents.

I wonder how much longer Americans are going to have children. Those at work deconstructing marriage, family, and society are taking all the pleasure out of parenthood and all of the responsibility for children from parents.  How can you be a parent when you can’t raise your own child?

Imagine the horror of going through a sex change and then realizing that you are indeed in the wrong body.

A private medical clinic has opened in Lucca, Italy that is devoted to caring for patients who have been injured by the experimental COVID-19 vaccines.

The clinic was opened by a group of doctors and health workers who were recently reinstated to their positions after newly-elected Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s government removed discriminatory legislation that barred vaccine-free Italians from working in healthcare.

An Italian medical rights group celebrated the clinic as “helpful” and “welcoming,” but a left-wing political party from Tuscany has attempted to pressure the mayor of Lucca to publicly disavow the clinic seeking to help heal those suffering from COVID vaccine injuries.

The local Partito Democratico (Democratic Party) released a statement saying “we believe the mayor needs to take a position, and distance himself from what is happening on this front in our city.”

The statement was made even after the party admitted that the group who started the clinic did so with the intention of helping the vaccine-injured, and that the group also wanted doctors to have freedom of conscience protections when practicing medicine.

Italy has flipped the script on COVID restrictions since the election of Meloni, who has admitted that Italy had the “most restrictive anti-COVID measures in the entire Western world,” but was still “among the countries with the highest numbers of deaths and infections.”
