Narrative Collapse! From England To Israel, Governments Race To Abandon Vaccine Passports!

Posted by M. C. on January 19, 2022

Facing a fight for his political life, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced an abrupt end to England’s vaccine passport, mask mandates including in schools, and work-from-home orders as the Omicron “scare” fizzles. In Israel, Finance Minister Avigdor Liberman is demanding an end to that country’s vax pass. The bricks are falling from this Berlin Wall. Also today: New footage of Ashli Babbitt will NOT please the Jan 6th Committee and a new study out of Brazil will not please Fauci.

Watch “‘That’s My Job’ – The Murder Of Ashli Babbitt” on YouTube

Posted by M. C. on September 1, 2021

By the logic used by the US Department of Justice to exonerate Capitol Hill Police officer Michael Byrd in the Jan. 6th shooting of Ashli Babbitt, hundreds of other protesters on that day – and in previous protests across the country last year – could have been shot and killed. Also today, interest in homeschooling is soaring. Is this the end of the state re-education camps for kids?

So why did the Capitol Hill cop come out? – American Thinker

Posted by M. C. on August 28, 2021

A lawsuit would concentrate anyone’s mind, even in the name of his agency, making it quite likely that he would think of preparing a defense.

It’s a typical lawyer tactic, when it can be done and a judge doesn’t slap it down, to try to sway public opinion, particularly when a defense is weak

After all, he has a history of mishandling weapons as news media have pointed out, leaving his gun once in a bathroom. And as for shooting dead an unarmed protestor, which normal cops would shrink at, he certainly didn’t. Nor did he signal any human emotion or empathy as most cops would do upon making a miscalculation. Instead, he declared himself a hero and all but demanded applause.

After months of supposed hiding, the Capitol Hill cop who shot unarmed pro-Trump protestor Ashli Babbitt at the Capitol, Lt. Michael Byrd has come out of the woodwork to talk about his shooting, in a softball interview with NBC’s Lester Holt.

Which is weird stuff, given that for months his identity had been concealed, by investigators, Congress, and other supposed watchdogs, on the grounds that revealing it to angry Trump supporters was too dangerous, and whose investigative conclusions excused him from accountability.

Now he’s come out — telling Lester Holt of his great heroics. He doesn’t even need to, having been exonerated repeatedly.

The most likely reason is this lawsuit, and these efforts by Babbitt’s family to get answers:

Babbitt’s family is suing for the identity of the officer to be publicly released but so far that effort has not borne fruit. They are also filing a $10 million wrongful death lawsuit, claiming the officer didn’t issue a verbal command according to the Washington Examiner.

Holt, who’s no stranger to political water-carrying, would be the perfect such vehicle.

The problem here is that the effort has probably already backfired.

Byrd, who makes north of $100,000 a year as a Capitol Police lieutenant, comes off as a dumb goober, a flatfoot in any other police department, a classic Parkinson’s Peter Principle law case of a man promoted to his level of incompetence.

According to Breitbart News:

Lt. Michael Byrd said in an exclusive interview with NBC News that he opened fire on January 6, after Ashli Babbitt failed to comply with his commands to stop breaching the glass doors leading into the lobby of the House of Representatives chamber.

About 60 to 80 House members and staffers were inside pushing furniture to block the doors.

Byrd said, “My name is Michael Byrd. Lieutenant for the United States Capitol Police.”

He continued, “I believe I showed the utmost courage on January 6. And it’s time for me to do that now.”

Anchor Lester Holt asked, “Were you afraid that day?”

Byrd said, “I was very afraid.”

He continued, “I had been yelling and screaming as loud as I was, ‘Please stop. Get back. Get back. Stop.’ We had our weapons drawn.”

He added, “I was again taking a tactical stance. You’re ultimately hoping your commands will be complied with, and unfortunately, they were not.”

Holt said, “And what did you think this individual was doing at that moment?”

Byrd said, “She was posing a threat to the House of Representatives.”

Here’s the problem with that, according to BizPac Review:

The officer’s attorney claims he gave multiple verbal commands but they were inaudible on the video because he was wearing a mask. That begs the question then whether Babbitt could hear them either if he did indeed issue them.

Another problem is that with so many cops around, somehow he’s the only one who went shooting.

Now it’s possible he didn’t do it with malice, though that’s worthy of a question just because of his ties to Democrats. But if it wasn’t malice, it appears to have been panic. Panic is never a good thing in a cop, especially one with a fancy title and salary. Nor did he save “countless lives” as he claimed, given that nobody in that unruly crowd was found with a gun.

It’s actually pretty obnoxious, and embarrassing, to hear this Keystone cop toot his own horn. Nobody else is characterizing this oaf as a hero, not even Democrats, at least not loudly. Barney Fife is more like it, and that’s not going to help his agency’s court case. The Babbitts should look forward to a tidy payout after this kind of an embarrassment to the defense. The more he speaks, the less sympathetic he gets.

Who killed Ashli Babbitt? – The Spectator World

Posted by M. C. on July 2, 2021

Sources close to and within the intelligence community tell Cockburn that Babbitt was actually shot by a member of then-vice president Mike Pence’s protective detail. The VP’s detail, of course, is provided by US Secret Service, not the Capitol Police. One person asserted to Cockburn over drinks in DC that this is ‘basically an open secret’ in the intelligence community.

Who shot Ashli Babbitt, the pro-Trump Air Force veteran who was killed by police during the January 6 riot at the US Capitol building? The American people were told that it was a Capitol Police officer who fired the fatal shot. But Cockburn has stumbled across some information that points to a different explanation.

Law enforcement sources suggested to Cockburn that the Capitol Police Department and Department of Justice have publicly identified the shooter as a Capitol Police officer in order to protect the reputation of the Secret Service. Cockburn also wonders if this isn’t an attempt to protect Pence from further anger or threats from Capitol rioters who wanted him to refuse to certify the results of the election on January 6.

A cover-up of this nature would also explain why the government hasn’t been forthcoming with other information about the alleged Capitol Police officer who they say shot Babbitt. Police officers who are involved in shootings are almost always identified publicly. The unnamed officer’s lawyer says that his client is being kept anonymous due to threats against his life. Babbitt’s family, however, argues that they have a right to know who shot and killed their beloved relative. Her husband, Aaron Babbitt, is suing Washington DC for access to records that would supposedly reveal the name of the officer.

Michael Brendan Dougherty floated the idea that Babbitt was shot by Secret Service on his Twitter account in early June, writing in response to Aaron Babbitt’s lawsuit, ‘I mean, at this point you have to suspect that it’s not a Capitol cop.’ He replied ‘SS’ when asked who he thought could have been responsible instead.

The video of Babbitt being shot as she attempts to climb through a broken window that leads to the Speaker’s Gallery shows a man in a suit jacket holding the gun. The Capitol Police do have plainclothes officers, but it is much more common for the Secret Service’s protective details to be spotted in suits while tailing the president or vice president.

There have been many other theories as to who may have shot Babbitt. Some on social media posited it could be Special Agent David Bailey, the Capitol Police officer who took down the Bernie Sanders supporter that opened fire on a Republican baseball practice. However, the Capitol Police issued a statement in February denying that theory:

‘As the investigation continues into the events of January 6, 2021, it’s important to correct misinformation some in the media have reported, and that’s been shared on social media. Reports identifying Special Agent David Bailey as the officer involved in the shooting in the Speaker’s Lobby are inaccurate.  The Department will share additional information once the investigation is complete.’

Cockburn reached out to Pence’s team for comment and was redirected to the US Secret Service. The Secret Service had a full 24 hours to give comment. They did not respond.

UPDATE (7/1/2021 6:15 p.m. ET):

The Secret Service finally responded to Cockburn’s inquiry more than a full day after publication of this piece. A spokesperson did not issue either a confirmation nor a denial of Cockburn’s conversations with his sources. Instead, Cockburn was directed to again read the Department of Justice press release from April in which the DoJ announces it will not file any charges against the ‘U.S. Capitol Police officer involved in the fatal shooting of 35-year-old Ashli Babbitt.’

If You Care About Ashli Babbitt, You Should Care About George Floyd | The Libertarian Institute

Posted by M. C. on January 14, 2021

Babbitt’s special treatment by police on the way into the capitol undoubtedly gave her extra confidence as she continued down her path into the back rooms of the capitol. Literally, right up to the moment she was shot, police showed her special treatment and, in fact, moved out of the way to allow Babbit to climb through the window where she would be shot.

Ashli Babbitt

As she breached multiple doors in the U.S. Capitol, while accompanied by dozens of other rioters, Ashli Babbitt’s last moments alive were spent attempting to break into a heavily barricaded area, climbing through a window before being shot in the chest by a police officer. Though she was breaking the law, she was unarmed when she was killed.

Babbitt was a wife and a veteran and despite her royally screwed up mistakes and disregard for the law on January 6, her life mattered. That is undeniable.

Sadly, however, her death is being used to further stoke divide between the left and the right. Many on the right are hailing her as a hero and a martyr who died fighting for freedom. But is that really the case?

RIP✝️ Ashli Babbit
We will remember you sister in arms.

Please pray for her family and our nation. No words.

Babbitt was shot by a Capitol police officer, after “multiple individuals forced entry into the Capitol building, and attempted to gain access to the house and attempted to gain access to the house, room, which was still in session,” Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department Chief Robert Contee said last week.

Note: this was not merely a matter of looting from corporations or destroying property. These people were threatening the lives of duly elected federal officials (like them or not) and #TheyLetThemIn. Cops moved. pic.twitter.com/UYgjVjDbiw

Sadly, though Babbitt thought she was a patriot fighting for freedom, in reality, she was there to make sure Donald Trump stayed in power. She was there to support a man who advocated for a policy which ultimately led to her death. In May, Trump famously advocated for the extrajudicial execution of people for doing exactly what Babbitt died doing. Remember, “when the looting starts, the shooting starts”?

Because the right didn’t speak out against their ruler when he called for the extrajudicial murder of people for misdemeanors in May, it was ultimately used against them. This is the case 100 percent of the time and why standing up to tyranny should never take a back seat to party politics.

Sadly, many on the right continue to remain oblivious to these facts. At the same time, however, the left is calling her a thug terrorist who deserved it and praising her death which is just as dangerous and repugnant.

Police did a great job !! Ashli Babbit is a domestic terrorist!! All of Trump’s domestic terrorists should be gunned down immediately to protect the democracy and the freedom of this country and those terrorists deserve it pic.twitter.com/xVL4vUqjmA

Amazingly enough, when Twitter banned tens of thousands of pro-Trump and anti-establishment voices on Friday, the person above, who is literally advocating for the genocide of his political enemies, came through it unscathed and their tweet remains active. But that is another point entirely.

Perhaps Babbitt should have been arrested and charged under a domestic terrorism charge, but she never got that chance because she was gunned down while unarmed. It is not up police or to Twitter or anyone else to decide who lives and who dies for their alleged crimes. In America we are guaranteed due process and no one has the right to remove that, even for the most vile of criminals.

In May, after George Floyd was killed, he became a martyr for the left who said that his life mattered and he should not have been killed. They were entirely correct in this assertion. However, just like left is calling Babbitt a thug and a terrorist, at the time of his murder, the right called Floyd a thug and a criminal and repeated the phrase of “if you don’t want to get killed by police, don’t break the law.”

Now that the right is experiencing the same police state that the left has experienced, instead of finding common ground and standing against tyranny, both sides are holding onto their contradictory ideologies in hopes that they can one day point the police state back at their political rivals.

This is how freedom dies—political power is wielded over and over by both sides until there is nothing left by the police state, who then silences ALL dissent, regardless of party.

Unjustified police killings of unarmed individuals is not some weapon to be pointed at your political enemies. Either you support due process and equal justice for all or you support despotism.

There is no picking sides when it comes to the state playing judge, jury, and executioner. When you support extrajudicial murder and removal of due process because it benefits you politically, you are not only a hypocrite but you are a cog in the wheel that is the police state and you deserve the hellish technocracy and violence you so adamantly supported when it inevitably comes back to be pointed at you.

Barbarous Relic: The nightmare is upon us

Posted by M. C. on January 8, 2021

When one reads about stolen votes the people who have been cheated are not brought out front and center. You don’t see their faces. Yesterday we got to see some of their faces. They brought themselves out front and center, and someone shot a woman in the neck, and she bled to death. Witnesses say the shooter was wearing a suit, shooting through a window from below on the other side of a wall. I didn’t see any protestors in suits. The victim, Ashli Babbitt, was a married 14-year Air Force veteran from San Diego. I would think she would qualify as a true patriot, meaning someone who, being a member of the military, was prepared to put her life on the line defending the Constitution. She was doing exactly that when she was murdered.

http://barbarous-relic.blogspot.com/2021/01/the-nightmare-is-upon-us.html

Yesterday, January 6, President Trump delivered a powerful speech on the White House lawn. Trump is mostly a great cheerleader. He says things a lot of people like to hear. Free marketers rightfully cringe at many of his comments. But that’s nothing compared to what they hear from his political opponents.

He did not lay out a plan for gaining legitimate control of the federal government. Voting should have worked but it didn’t.  Even if he had a plan it would’ve been a mistake to talk about it then. His audience, which was massive, wanted to hear more about the fraud that stole their votes. He gave it to them.

(How do honest people beat cheaters? They don’t. If they’re smart they have nothing to do with them. But politics demands participation if only for self-defense. So they have to participate and in doing so lose. Biden boasted about their fraudulent system, and for once he was right. It will get more sophisticated, more resistant to deciphering.)

After the speech Trump was to lead them to the Capitol to get the attention of Congress. I did not see him personally walking the streets or in any other manner head to the Capitol. But a great many of his followers did walk there and the police opened the gates to let them pass.

From what I have found so far, none of the protesters were armed. But when they got inside the Capitol building members of Congress, including Pence, scurried for their lives instead of confronting the people who had been cheated.

When Congress reconvened there was no talk of a fraudulent election. No, sir — they had seen the real soul of the Deplorables. Before the break-in we heard some of them using their powers of persuasion describing the fraud that happened in certain states, particularly with regard to the assertion that only state legislatures could change voting rules, which in the contested states did not happen. After the protesters were cleared all that talk vanished. We heard indignant vows that this country would not tolerate violence as a means to overturn a legitimate election. In other words we heard the hypocrites lie, one after another, RINOs and Democrats.

The nightmare is upon us. Leftists have always believed the end justifies the means. They have now got what they wanted in the way they believed in. Candace Owens was right when she said their dog was going to eat them someday.
