Google to Ban Cryptocurrency Ads, Deepening “Crypto Blackout” | The Daily Bell

Posted by M. C. on March 17, 2018

One of the now seemingly forgotten rationales behind crypto-currencies was anonymous fiscal transactions. Keeping prying government eyes out of private dealings.

Squashing that is what this all about.  Google, Facebook and Uncle like to keep tabs.

By Joël Valenzuela

(Dash Force News) Google has announced that it will be cracking down on cryptocurrency-related advertising, furthering the “crypto blackout” online.

According to new policies relating to financial services to be rolled out in June, among newly banned content will be anything related to cryptocurrency:

“Cryptocurrencies and related content (including but not limited to initial coin offerings, cryptocurrency exchanges, cryptocurrency wallets, and cryptocurrency trading advice)”

While the spirit of the ban appears to be targeted at ICOs and speculation, it will also affect other cryptocurrency information as well, from simple usage guides to wallets, news sites, general information, and more. Read the rest of this entry »

The disturbing acceptance of Google’s new ‘smart’ camera

Posted by M. C. on March 1, 2018

But you will think the photos will be so cute. Google will like them too.  Especially the one where you are seen doing…

Will the video sync with the Alexa always open microphone?

Navneet Alang

All the same, there’s also the plainer, more simple truth that the concept underlying the Google Clips camera is itself questionable. Why is capturing more and more candid images good? It all proceeds on the assumption that the more things we record the better. But that is far from an agreed-upon idea. The presence of a camera itself produces an awareness of being watched. It’s a common, and very often harmless fact of the smartphone era. But the idea of adding smart cameras, smart speakers, and more to our homes simply increases the sense that all moments are there for recording, and we’ve yet to grapple with not just what it means, but whether or not it’s desirable at all.

Posted by M. C. on March 1, 2018

http://dailycaller.com/2018/02/27/google-youtube-southern-poverty-law-center-censorship/

  • YouTube is getting help from the left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center in its effort to identify extremist content.
  • YouTube’s “Trusted Flaggers” police the platform for so-called hate speech to terror-related content.
  • The SPLC has labeled pedestrian conservative groups as hate groups in the past.

3 Concerning Prejudice Trends Toward White Americans | The Daily Bell

Posted by M. C. on February 14, 2018

You don’t have to play by the rules of the corrupt politicians, manipulative media, and brainwashed peers.

http://www.thedailybell.com/news-analysis/3-concerning-prejudice-trends-toward-white-americans/

By Joe Jarvis

In no way does this discussion minimize prejudice and racism others have and still face. Just because this article highlights an often overlooked type of prejudice does not mean we think other kinds don’t exist.

We have discussed how the war on drugs was designed to empower the government to crack down on certain groups, black people included, without the policy having to be explicitly racist. We have also discussed overlooked ways women are still not treated equally–and we aren’t talking about the “pay gap.”

But today we are talking about prejudice against white people, justified by what “our” ancestors did. Others blame their racism on white “micro-aggressions,” which are little bits of subtle racism white people let slip. Read the rest of this entry »

Google’s Secret Speech Police | The Daily Caller

Posted by M. C. on January 22, 2018

Just accept it sheeple, it is for your own good. Google smart, you dumb.

http://dailycaller.com/2018/01/19/google-youtube-censorship-demonetize-hate-speech/

More than 100 nongovernment organizations (NGOs) and government agencies around the world help police YouTube for extremist content, ranging from so-called hate speech to terrorist recruiting videos.

All of them have confidentiality agreements barring Google, YouTube’s parent company, from revealing their participation to the public, a Google representative told The Daily Caller on Thursday. Read the rest of this entry »

Google Suspends Fact Check Project, Crediting TheDCNF Investigation With Decision

Posted by M. C. on January 20, 2018

Google is so corrupt it can’t trust itself.

That what you get for using Google to fact check.

http://dailycaller.com/2018/01/19/google-ends-fact-check/

First, the legitimate outlets chosen were virtually all ones with conservatives audiences. The Daily Caller, for example, was given such treatment, while sites like Vox, Slate, The Huffington Post, Mother Jones and several others clearly on the left side of the political spectrum were not. Google Hiring 10,000 Certified Morons to Further Throttle Free Speech

Posted by M. C. on January 1, 2018

The CIA can’t let just anyone use their stuff.

Do you see a personal integrity issue here? Would you do that job?

I can’t resist-From the comments section: By the looks of these new internet censors, I’d say McDonald’s and Burger King are gonna’ have about 10,000 positions to fill.

http://russia-insider.com/en/google-hiring-10000-certified-morons-further-throttle-free-speech/ri21892

The hiring drive by Google is yet another advance in the campaign against any expression of political opposition. Other social media giants have implemented measures against “fake news”; Facebook has altered its algorithms to reduce the visibility of certain news stories, and Twitter has banned the Russian-funded media outlets RT and Sputnik from advertising on the platform.

While railing against “extremist content,” “child exploitation” and “hoaxes” in the interest of “public safety,” the ultimate goal of this campaign is the suppression of left-wing, anti-war sentiment.

Any censorship on YouTube will undoubtedly have an immense impact on online political discourse. According to a white paper by technology conglomerate Cisco, video will account for 69 percent of all consumer-based internet traffic in 2017; this is expected to rise to 80 percent by 2019…

Neocons Hate LRC – LewRockwell

Posted by M. C. on December 29, 2017

If Google, NYT and WaPo hate it. You should like it.

…Murray has more and more influence. Both NyTi and WaPo are notoriously close to the CIA. National Review was founded by CIA agent Bill Buckley, and all continue to fight for the welfare-warfare state, and smear anyone, especially on the right, who doesn’t join their cabal….

Schmidt Chairs Defense Innovation Board | The Daily Caller

Posted by M. C. on December 27, 2017

Google/Facebook/CIA. Is there a difference?

http://dailycaller.com/2017/12/24/why-is-alphabet-ceo-eric-schmidt-technically-serving-in-the-department-of-defense/

Eric Schmidt, chief executive of Google parent company Alphabet, was appointed chairman of a Department of Defense program in 2016 that was established by former President Barack Obama’s administration.

A staunch supporter of the Democratic Party and critic of President Donald Trump, Schmidt still continues to lead the Defense Innovation Board (DIB), even well after the new administration took over in January. This begs the question: should Schmidt’s history of partisan advocacy and condemnation of Trump be a worrisome prospect for the current White House?…

Google collects Android users’ locations even when location services are disabled

Posted by M. C. on November 21, 2017

This is why RF proof bags were invented… and we NEVER trust Google.

https://qz.com/1131515/google-collects-android-users-locations-even-when-location-services-are-disabled/?utm_source=nextdraft&utm_medium=email

Many people realize that smartphones track their locations. But what if you actively turn off location services, haven’t used any apps, and haven’t even inserted a carrier SIM card?

Even if you take all of those precautions, phones running Android software gather data about your location and send it back to Google when they’re connected to the internet, a Quartz investigation has revealed. Read the rest of this entry »
