State-Media Incest: Karine Jean-Pierre Praises White House Correspondents’ President as ‘Mentor’ and ‘Partner’

Posted by M. C. on July 22, 2024

That role, as KJP inadvertently admitted, has been inverted, as so many others in decaying Western civilization have, so as to turn the WHCA into a sheepdog for the state to heel the compliant journalists under her charge when they stray too far — like when they ask real questions.

I want to take a minute to thank Kelly O’Donnell, your outgoing president of the White House Correspondents’ Association.  Kelly, the past year has presented no shortage of news — (laughter) — opportunities, and challenges.  You’ve been a great partner day — day to day here at the White House, and we’ve closely worked together on major events, minor logistics, and travel, both domestic and foreign.

I — I want this room and the many members of the WHCA to know that you have had a trusted ally, friend, and leader in Kelly O.  And you have always — always advocated heartfel- — heart- — heart- — heartedly on behalf of your fellow journalists.  And we are grateful for your service, and we are relieved you will still be on — on the beat here at the White House and in the briefing room.

It has been — it has been a joy.  And — and I have had — I have had the opportunity to know you for some time, even before being at the White House, and I really appreciated, more personally, your guidance, your mentorship in tough times.  And so, thank you so much, Kelly.”

Karine Jean-Pierre, it is well-established fact at this point, is a buffoon. Her predecessors knew better than to let loose such self-incriminating admissions on national television.

The original premise of the White House Correspondents’ Association was, of course, to advocate for journalists in their role of exposing state lies and malfeasance and to ensure full freedom of the same to practice their essential job of checking state power.

That role, as KJP inadvertently admitted, has been inverted,

Jean-Pierre Clarifies That Official White House Policy Is The Opposite Of Whatever Biden Says In Interviews

WASHINGTON, D.C. — During a White House press conference focused on clarifying every statement Biden has ever made, Press Secretary Jean-Pierre clarified that the official White House policy was the opposite of whatever President Biden says in interviews.

This official policy comes on the tail of the White House clarifying and contradicting nearly every statement Biden has made regarding the pandemic, Taiwan, illegal immigrants, Russia, inflation, and unborn babies. Curiously, there has been no correction from the White House after Biden called half of U.S. citizens an existential threat to democracy.

“This policy is to stem confusion and reduce the number of questions asking for clarification and context,” said Jean-Pierre to journalists suffering dizzy spells from the flurry of claims, counterclaims, statements, clarifications, and contexts.

“She said what? That’s a bunch of goat honky; I’m the President of the United States of America,” said Biden in response to the White House’s new policy.

At publishing time, the White House clarified that Biden actually said, “She’s exactly right, and Trump is a terrorist.”

New press secretary isn’t the brightest

Posted by M. C. on May 18, 2022

https://mailchi.mp/tomwoods/presssec?e=fa1aba8cd8

The main job of the White House press secretary is to evade questions while appearing to answer them.

Remember the new White House press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre?

She knows to evade the questions, but her evasions don’t even slightly sound like answers.

The Cato Institute, meanwhile, was delighted to inform us of how wonderful it is that in this day and age we can finally have a black woman who’s also from the LGBT community as White House press secretary. I promise you, folks, I am not making that up:
In my reply I got closer to the heart of the matter.
Too harsh, you say?

Here is her response when asked to explain Biden’s claim that raising taxes on greedy corporations (which Biden laughingly cites as the cause of price inflation) would help bring prices down:

“Look, we have talked about this this past year, about making sure that the wealthiest among us are paying their fair share. And that is important to do. And that is something that, you know, the President has been, you know, working on, every day when we talk about inflation and lowering costs. And so it’s very important that as we’re seeing costs rise, as we’re talking about how to, you know, uh, you know, build an America that’s safe, that’s equal for everyone and doesn’t leave anyone behind, that is an important part of that as well.”

Reporter Peter Doocy followed up: “But how does raising taxes on corporations lower the cost of gas, the cost of a used car, the cost of food for everyday Americans?”

Her answer, if you can call it that:

“So look, I think we encourage those who have done very well, right, especially [and here she begins reading from — and apparently stumbling around — prepared remarks that are unrelated to the question — TW] those who care about climate change, to support a fairer tax code that doesn’t charge manufacturers, workers, cops, builders, a higher percentage of their earnings, that the most fortunate people in our nation, and not let that stand in the way of reducing energy costs and fighting this existential problem if you think about that as an example. And to support basic collective bargaining rights as well. That’s also important.

“Without having a fairer tax code, which is what I’m talking about, manufacturing workers, cops, it’s not fair for them to have to pay higher taxes than the folks who are not paying taxes at all.”

You don’t need me to tell you this, but none of that means anything. It’s gibberish from start to finish.

Since the media will protect her, there won’t be any stories (as there would surely be if the media’s enemies were in charge) about her incoherence and lack of knowledge.

By contrast, the promotion of knowledge against ignorance, impoverishment, and tyranny is what my whole operation has been about from the start.

And for the past 12 years I’ve created and sold online courses as part of the Woods strategy both for spreading knowledge and for putting food on the table for the littler Woodses.

So I have a teensy-weensy bit of knowledge about it.

I assembled this free step-by-step video series for you in case that’s something you’d like to take a crack at yourself:
