Brother Raul has been in charge for a while now and one of the few constructive things Obama has done is work with Raul to open up Cuba to the US economy. When Raul joins Fidel the reformation may take off if the US prez permits.
The enduring legacy of Cuba and Castro, that no one will discuss, is that embargos do not work. The Iraq embargo resulted in untold suffering, little food, no medicine and the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent men, women and children.
