Beware of a False Flag To Kick-Start World War 3

Posted by M. C. on October 31, 2023

However, as detailed in the authoritative book, The Attack on the Liberty, many sailors who survived the USS Liberty attack find the official explanation implausible and ridiculous.

Some believe it was a failed false flag attack. The idea was to sink the ship, leaving no survivors, and then pin the blame on Egypt to force the US to enter the Six-Day War on Israel’s side.

False flag attacks

A false flag is an incident designed to deceive people into thinking someone else actually carried it out.

It’s like the scene in the movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

There’s a character who plays on the high school football team and has a fancy sports car. Later, his little brother’s friend accidentally trashes this car.

Terrified at how the big brother could respond, they devise a clever plan to shift the blame on someone else. They make it look like the rival football team vandalized the car, decorating it in the rival team’s colors and slogans.

The plan works.

The big brother is tricked into thinking that a rival football team trashed his car instead of the little brother.

This is the essence of a false flag. Governments and intelligence services use the same tactic to nefarious effect.

Take the Mukden Incident in 1931. The Japanese fabricated an attack to justify the invasion of Manchuria.

In 1939, before invading Poland, Nazi Germany staged an attack. They made the Poles look like the attackers.

There was the Gulf of Tonkin incident in 1964. That’s when North Vietnam supposedly fired torpedoes at a US warship. The torpedoes missed, and there was no damage. But that made no difference…

President Lyndon Johnson interrupted national television later that evening. In a fiery speech, he rallied the American people against this attack on the US military.

It was the official start of the Vietnam War… one of the biggest disasters in US history. And it all started with the “attack” in the Gulf of Tonkin.

Except the torpedo attack never happened. It was a false pretext for entering the Vietnam War.

Fast forward to 2014, to the sniper attacks in Kiev, Ukraine. It catalyzed the overthrow of the pro-Russian government. But it’s believed to be a false flag attack.

Then there was the 2017 chemical weapons attack in Syria. Investigative journalist Seymour Hersh claims it was a false flag attack intended to get the US directly involved in the Syrian war.

So why am I telling you about this now?

There are two reasons.

Israel to Get New Fleet of F-35s Financed by US Aid

Posted by M. C. on July 3, 2023

The deal is for 25 planes and is estimated to cost $3 billion

The Israeli arms industry will also benefit from the deal. The Israeli Defense Ministry said that as part of the agreement, Lockheed Martin and the engine manufacturer, Pratt & Whitney, have “committed to involving Israeli defense industries in the production of aircraft components sold.”

Feel your wallet get thinner? The only thing Israel has given US is 34 dead crewman on the Liberty.

The Israeli Defense Ministry said Sunday that Israel will acquire a third fleet of Lockheed Martin-made F-35 fighter jets using US military aid funds.

The deal for 25 F-35 fighter jets is estimated to cost about $3 billion and will be purchased through Foreign Military Financing (FMF), a US State Department program that gives foreign governments money to buy US arms.

The Israeli arms industry will also benefit from the deal. The Israeli Defense Ministry said that as part of the agreement, Lockheed Martin and the engine manufacturer, Pratt & Whitney, have “committed to involving Israeli defense industries in the production of aircraft components sold.”

“This new agreement will ensure the continuation of cooperation between American companies and Israeli defense industries in the production of aircraft parts,” the Israeli Defense Ministry added.

American Pravda: Remembering the Liberty, by Ron Unz – The Unz Review

Posted by M. C. on October 19, 2021

If any of them ever mentioned a word of what had happened—even to their mothers, fathers, or wives, let alone the media—they would immediately be court-martialed and end their lives in prison “or worse.”

Concealing the Deliberate Israeli Attack

I’m not exactly sure when I first heard of the Liberty incident of 1967. The story was certainly a dramatic one, the attack upon an almost defenseless American intelligence ship by Israel’s air and naval forces late in the Six Day War fought against several Arab states. Over 200 American servicemen were killed or wounded by Israeli machine-guns, rockets, napalm, and torpedoes, representing our greatest naval loss of life since World War II. Only tremendous luck and the heroic actions of the sailors prevented the Liberty from being sunk with all hands lost.

The Israeli government quickly claimed that the attack had been accidental, a consequence of mistaken identification and the fog of war, but none of the survivors ever believed that story, nor did many of America’s top political and military leaders, notably Secretary of State Dean Rusk, CIA Director Richard Helms, and numerous top officers, including a later Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Although a brief investigation ordered by President Lyndon Johnson quickly endorsed the Israeli account, over the next half-century the Liberty survivors regularly condemned that official verdict as a cover-up and a whitewash. Their deep outrage was only slightly assuaged by the flood of medals they had received from our guilt-ridden government, which established the Liberty as perhaps the most highly-decorated ship in American naval history, at least with regard to a single engagement.

The real-life events of that day almost seem like a script out of Hollywood. The first wave of unmarked attacking jets had targeted and destroyed all of the Liberty’s regular transmission antennas while also trying to jam all standard American broadcast frequencies to prevent any calls for help. A flotilla of torpedo boats later machine-gunned the life-rafts to ensure there would be no survivors. These relentless attacks lasted for more than an hour and completely perforated the vessel, with the sides and the decks being pitted by more than 800 holes larger than a man’s fist, including 100 rocket-hits that were six to eight inches wide, and a 40 foot hole below the waterline produced by a torpedo strike. Only a miracle kept the ship afloat.

But the desperate sailors braved constant enemy fire to jury-rig a single transmission antenna, allowing them to send out an urgent plea for help. Their SOS was finally received by our nearby Sixth Fleet, whose commanders immediately dispatched two waves of jet fighters to rescue the Liberty and drive off the attackers, only to have both flights recalled by order of America’s highest political leadership, which chose to abandon the Liberty and its crew to their fate. At the end, two large helicopters filled with commandos dressed in full battle gear and armed with assault weapons were preparing to board the Liberty, sweep its decks clear of any resistance, and sink it. But at that moment their headquarters apparently discovered that the ship had managed to report its plight to other American military forces, so the enemy broke off the attack and retreated. The first American assistance finally arrived seventeen hours after the first shots had been fired, as two destroyers reached the stricken vessel, which was still desperately trying to stay afloat.

This story combined so many elements of exceptional military heroism, political treachery, and success against all odds that if the Liberty had been attacked by any nation on earth except Israel, the inspirational events of June 8, 1967 might have become the basis for several big-budget, Oscar-nominated movies as well as a regular staple of television documentaries. Such a patriotic narrative would have provided very welcome relief from the concurrent military disaster our country was then facing in its Vietnam War debacle. But events involving serious misdeeds of the Jewish State are hardly viewed with great favor by the leading lights of our entertainment industry, and the story of the Liberty quickly vanished from sight so that today I doubt whether even one American in a hundred has ever heard of it.

Our news media has been almost as silent on the subject. In the immediate aftermath of the attack, there was naturally some coverage in our major newspapers and magazines, with several of the reports expressing considerable skepticism of the Israeli claims of having made an innocent mistake. But the Johnson Administration quickly imposed an extreme clampdown to suppress any challenges to the official story.

An American admiral soon met with all of the survivors in small groups, including the many dozens still hospitalized from their serious injuries, and he issued fearsome threats to those terrified young sailors, most of whom were still in their teens or early twenties. If any of them ever mentioned a word of what had happened—even to their mothers, fathers, or wives, let alone the media—they would immediately be court-martialed and end their lives in prison “or worse.”

With our journalists having great difficulty finding any eyewitnesses willing to talk and our government firmly declaring that the attack had been an unfortunate instance of accidental “friendly fire,” the newsmen quickly lost interest and the story faded from the headlines. Our government still remained so concerned about the smoldering embers of the incident that the surviving sailors were distributed across the other ships of our navy, apparently with efforts made to avoid having any of them serve together, which would have allowed them an opportunity to discuss the events they had barely survived.

The ensuing decade of the 1970s saw the Watergate Scandal unfold, culminating in the impeachment and resignation of a president, and numerous other sordid governmental scandals and abuses of power came to light in the years that followed, greatly eroding popular faith in the honesty of our government.

Ilhan Omar under attack for telling truth about Israel lobby | The Electronic Intifada

Posted by M. C. on February 13, 2019

Omar was talking about the Israeli government, not Jews.

Like her or not, in this case she is correct.

There is a saying in Washington-If you want to lose your job fast, criticize the Israeli government.

Remember the Liberty!

Ali Abunimah

Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar is under fierce attack from Chelsea Clinton and other Republican and Democratic establishment figures for voicing a fundamental truth: much of Congress is muzzled when it comes to Israel by the powerful lobby group AIPAC.

On Sunday, journalist Glenn Greenwald highlighted a news story about how Republican House leader Kevin McCarthy wants to punish Omar, and fellow Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, for their criticisms of Israel.

In a perverse move, McCarthy tried to equate the two women’s support for Palestinian rights with notorious Republican Congressman Steve King’s white supremacism.

“It’s stunning how much time US political leaders spend defending a foreign nation even if it means attacking free speech rights of Americans,” Greenwald tweeted.

Omar then retweeted Greenwald, adding the comment, “It’s all about the Benjamins baby,” the title of a rap song by Puff Daddy.

“Benjamins” is a slang term for $100 bills, a reference to the portrait of Benjamin Franklin that is on the banknotes.

Then, Batya Ungar-Sargon, the opinion editor of the The Forwardchimed in, challenging Omar to explain who she “thinks is paying American politicians to be pro-Israel.”

Ungar-Sargon also accused Omar of tweeting an “anti-Semitic trope.”

Omar’s answer to Ungar-Sargon’s question was succinct: “AIPAC!”

That’s when the floodgates opened….

US Foreign Policy-Drop In And See What Condition Is Our Condition In

Posted by M. C. on August 11, 2016

Have you ever stopped to think what makes up US foreign policy? What have Hillary Clinton, John Kerry and their antecedents wrought?

The main US foreign policy tools for winning hearts and minds include bribery, intimidation and hellfire missiles. Not a lot has changed.

In the Middle East we create an atmosphere that breeds dozens of terrorist groups we don’t understand then pay, train and equip them all to fight each other. We do Islamists a favor by upending Middle Eastern countries so they can walk in and take over, we try two or three times if we have to. We team up and fund Sunnis who attack(ed) us to fight Shias that haven’t attacked us. We never mention 9/11 and Saudi Arabia in the same day.

The EU and NATO policy is fund their defense and require them to spend their ill gotten US taxpayer dollars on US armament ‘upgrades’. You have to keep up to snuff if you are going to run with the big boys. As a bonus the MI Complex keeps campaign coffers well fed.

Central and South America, Southern Europe/Asia, Africa and far East Asian countries and other assorted minions are encouraged to take our money, do what we say, not go pinko and not speak kindly to Russia and China.

Pacific (Lake USA) countries are told to accept US money, troops, bases and missiles as they will be the first to be crushed by China and North Korea whom the US is economically and militarily aggravating. As is the case with Eastern Europe and Russia.

Uppity commies that complain when we sail warships up to their shores need to be reminded who is master.

Pay Israel whatever they demand, do whatever they demand, do not ask them to help fight ISIS and ignore their partnership with Saudi Arabia in funding Sunni terrorists. Do NOT ‘Remember the Liberty’.

Any son of bitch that robs, rapes, murders, tortures, gets rich off US tax payers and selling drugs gets a free pass if he is OUR son of a bitch.

Get military bases established anywhere and everywhere.

If any miscreants (excluding Israeli or SA miscreants) fail to obey they can expect a ‘democracy’ advocating NGO, Gladio and/or CIA to straighten them out using the above mentioned tools. When Victoria Nuland invites herself for a visit you know you are in for a whoopin’.

I’d say that about covers it.

Romney Has Just Told Israel How Much We Love Them. Let Me Count The Ways I Don’t.

Posted by M. C. on July 30, 2012

The good ship Liberty – The Liberty was monitoring Israeli operations during the 7 day war.  When Israel was advancing far more than what was agreed to with the US, Israel decided to take out the Liberty along with a quite a few of the crew.  It was just an accident.

Jonathan Pollard – The Israeli spy who stole, among other things, our contingency plans against Russia.  Israel promptly sold these plans to Russia.  The Israeli Firsters are now pushing to get Pollard released. Read the rest of this entry »
