These days I am more afraid of militarized police than crooks.  William Grigg has been writing extensively about militarized police atrocities.  His stories lately seem to lately emanate from Colorado and the Southwest.  Tactics more suitable for clearing a Taliban village are used to abuse those accused of menial offenses.  People beaten to within an inch of their lives for some perceived action, snub, questioning authority,  exercising Constitutional rights or protecting themselves from the beating they know is coming.  They kick some old lady’s or a drunk street person’s ass just because they can.  Power trips.  Then the cop’s union, their lies and a compliant press keeps the real criminal free.

I recall an Americas Most Wanted episode that highlighted a SWAT team out of a SW US county.  I missed the beginning and the specific location.  I think it was a county with which we are all familiar.  The team was headed a female sheriff deputy.  Paraphrasing her words:

The team is made up of type A personalities that were always up for some action.

I have to be on them all the time to keep them under control.

Hey bad guys – we can pull the trigger just as easy as you can.

Cops playing soldier with Fed supplied military gear to “serve and protect”, NOT!  Now the motto is Enforce and Subdue.  Lick my boots or I will kick your ass.

Have you noticed how at Columbine, Aurora and Sandy Hook the perimeters were set up, the crowd was controlled, the shooting stopped then the SWAT team went in?  To do what?  To pick up the pieces except for Aurora where the shooter, loaded with Big Pharma’s finest, wondered into the parking lot and gave up.
