Ever notice how comments are made that make absolutely no sense but the are rarely called out?

Obama says ridiculous things all the time.  One that annoys me is:

“Teams of administration lawyers have reviewed this and assured me it is legal”

When teams of lawyers review anything I go on alert.  What else are administration lawyers going say?  That which the president wants to inflict upon us is not legal?  Administration lawyers’ prime directive is to turn  law into a pretzel to justify the latest device designed to further shred the Constitution.  I am offended to think that statement is supposed to reassure me.

The second thing I see a lot is “Drones have killed suspected militants”.  “Suspected”?  The government admits they don’t even know for sure whom it is killing and this doesn’t seem to bother anyone.  It is no wonder the Middle East hates us more every day.  People should be in the streets protesting (“here” I mean, they already are over “there”) but there is nothing.  And you wonder why this country is going to hell in a hand basket.  We are doing it to ourselves by doing nothing.  There are too many complacent, ignorant people who think meddling spying and murder on a world-wide industrial scale makes us safe.

We have to go out there, open eyes and light some fires.
