The news reports and various FAQs summaries in the Erie School district and Common Core websites go to great lengths to stress that the Federal government is no way involved.

That is a good thing and hopefully that will last a while. That will be a challenge because the goal of the federal government is to control the minutia of our existence. Glenn Greenwald, the media enabler of Anthony Snowdon, feels it is the goal of the government to completely destroy privacy and our control of our lives.

Remember that when Common Core says:

However, the federal government will have the opportunity to support states as they begin adopting the standards.

Support is code for money and the federal government never hands out money without attaching a War and Peace size list of rules and regulations. When Common Core accepts federal dollars the game is over. The system will revert to the same government run disaster Common Core is trying to fix.
