High-Flight

John Gillespie Magee Jr. He was nineteen when he composed this poem in August 1941. He died very soon after, in December of the same year. For 75 years High-Flight has been, is and possibly will be the favorite of aviators around the world. And a little gem of poetry. It is worth remembering.
