A Scary Antifa Story From The Portland Riots | Andy Ngo & Jordan Peterson

Posted by M. C. on March 30, 2022

In this episode, I discuss Andy’s experiences with Antifa, race riots, autonomous zones, and the ‘summer of love’ in Seattle. We also exchanged thoughts on the psychology of mob violence, journalistic integrity, dealing with criticism, using people for political ends, attempts to destabilize the police, and lots more.

The reporter who keeps exposing Antifa is being silenced by the establishment. Why are they so afraid of him? — RT Op-ed

Posted by M. C. on July 1, 2021

But, like many people, I’ve gone well past the point of expecting the Democrats to do the right thing.

What’s the problem with Andy Ngo? SoundCloud has banned his podcast and Joy Behar attacked him on national TV, and yet his only ‘crime’ has been his tireless work to expose the shameful violence of Antifa’s left-wing thugs.

One look at conservative journalist Andy Ngo, and you wonder why so many people find him so threatening. Yet, it seems that any time his name is mentioned, there are plenty who don’t want to hear his voice and try to downplay his significance. If that doesn’t work and he finds himself attacked by Antifa, the victim-blaming is so loud you can hear it across several continents.

There’s a quote from George RR Martin’s ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ books that can be paraphrased along the lines of “you would only tear out a man’s tongue if you’re afraid of what he might say.” Joy Behar of The View recently seemed quite frustrated over the attention that Ngo’s book on Antifa, ‘Unmasked’, is getting. On top of that, his podcast has been banned from SoundCloud. According to Ngo, editor-at-large of The Post Millennial, he has not received a reason for the banning, aside from a blanket statement about ‘terms of service violations.’

So why is it that people fear what he is going to say? Why does he provoke such an emotional reaction, as seen in the online response to Mumford & Sons’ Winston Marshall tweeting praise for his book? If the things he is reporting on are not that big a deal, then shouldn’t he just fade into the background? I think it boils down to his willingness to specifically highlight the actions and agenda of Antifa, which many on the political left seem to want to ignore.

Let’s be clear: when it comes to Antifa, the left absolutely refuses to accept the truth of what this group is. Ngo’s book, which quickly became an Amazon bestseller, is more than happy to expose the reality. This is the exact opposite of what Joe Biden suggested when he claimed that they are “just an idea.” Don Lemon of CNN has also tried to downplay the group as people who simply fight fascists – neglecting to mention that Antifa seem to see most Americans as fascists. The simple fact that Ngo is not willing to deny reality seems to be the crux of all of this controversy.

He is, purely and simply, doing his job as a journalist. His job is to honestly report on stories of interest. If Ngo had buried his head in the sand while half the country was on fire last year, he would have stood alongside the mainstream media that failed to fully acknowledge what was going on, and who was behind it.

Ultimately, I believe that Andy Ngo is doing the right thing by reporting on the activities of a group that should have been officially declared a terrorist organization long ago by the US government. It’s about time the Democrats paid attention to what he is saying and took action to put a stop to Antifa’s violence. If they were honest, they would acknowledge that many of the things Ngo has reported on need to be addressed instead of ignored.

But, like many people, I’ve gone well past the point of expecting the Democrats to do the right thing.

Winston Marshall’s brilliant stand against cancel culture – spiked

Winston Marshall’s brilliant stand against cancel culture

Share Topics CultureFree SpeechPoliticsUK

There is something both stirring and sad about Winston Marshall’s goodbye letter to Mumford & Sons after he found himself in the eye of a Twitterstorm for praising the work of anti-Antifa journalist Andy Ngo.

It’s stirring because here we have a public figure making an enormous sacrifice – leaving the band he loves – in order that he might more freely express his political beliefs. That’s rare in this age in which celebs, columnists and politicians usually respond to Twittermobbing with abject apologies, mistakenly believing that public displays of atonement will appease the thoughtpolice. Of course it does the opposite. Apologies embolden the cancel-culture mob. They feast on retractions. The thrill of having successfully forced someone to recant deepens their lust for power.

So to see Marshall stand up for himself feels bracing. His ‘offence’ was that he tweeted favourably about Andy Ngo’s book, Unmasked: Inside Antifa’s Radical Plan to Destroy Democracy. The woke left fantasises that Antifa’s Fisher-Price revolutionaries, its pampered TikTok vanguard, its masked middle-class activists who love beating up journalists and punching stupid working-class Trump supporters, are the 21st-century equivalent of the International Brigades. So anyone who takes the side of Mr Ngo – who recognises that Antifa is actually a bunch of dangerous arseholes – must be evil. And that includes Marshall.

The reaction to Marshall’s pro-Ngo tweet was, even by the standards of today’s viral inquisitions, deranged.

Teen, 17, absurdly charged with murder in Kenosha for DEFENDING himself from BLM thugs and rioters: How come the terrorists are never charged? – NaturalNews.com

Posted by M. C. on August 28, 2020

#1) The police won’t protect you. You are on your own.

https://www.naturalnews.com/2020-08-27-17-year-old-murder-kenosha-defending-himself-blm-thugs-rioters.html

(Natural News) Democrats are walking, talking double-standard hypocrites who only enforce laws when it suits them — as is the case in Kenosha, Wis., where a 17-year-old teen has been charged with murder over a clear act of self-defense.

On Tuesday, for the third straight night, Black Lives Matter and Antifa agitators and anarchists took to the streets of the once-sleepy city of about 100,000 people on the banks of Lake Michigan to loot, burn, destroy and terrorize citizens.

You know the story well, by now: A white police officer shoots an ‘unarmed’ black man, and without knowing any details or waiting for an explanation, BLM and Antifa supporters use it to justify destroying major portions of large cities.

They don’t want facts. They don’t want answers. They don’t really want much to change, either — because that would deprive them of the opportunity to continue the ‘revolution.’

All they want to do is tear down, never build, and it doesn’t matter how many innocent people have to lose their businesses, their livelihoods, or their safety in the process.

In recent weeks these ongoing protests have often been met by counter-demonstrations of armed patriots who are sick and tired of seeing their police officers abused and their communities burned down. But in such volatile environments, armed clashes are inevitable, and that’s what happened Tuesday night in Kenosha.

Two rioters were killed and another badly wounded after they tried chasing down a teenager who was armed with what appears to have been an AR-15 style semi-automatic rifle.

Video clips of the incidents were plastered all over social media, and we will warn you, they are graphic:

There are others, and those are below — but you can clearly see in the above video, the shooter, who has been arrested, was being chased. And as you’ll see below, one of the rioters chasing him had a handgun.

Also, independent journalist Andy Ngo posted another screenshot of the shooter being pummeled with rioters’ weapon of choice, a skateboard (which can kill someone if they are struck in the head with it).

Fox News has more information on the alleged murder suspect:

Kyle Rittenhouse was arrested in his hometown of Antioch, Ill., Wednesday on suspicion of intentional first-degree homicide, Commander Norman Johnson of the Antioch Police Department said. Antioch is about 20 miles southwest of Kenosha. Read the rest of this entry »

Camera-Shy Antifa Hits Washington D.C. | The American Conservative

Posted by M. C. on July 9, 2019

The media notification sheet concludes: “Members of the media who refuse to comply with these reasonable guidelines will be removed from the [safe space] permitted protest area.”  Perhaps after they are attacked with lead pipes and left with brain damage, as Antifa recently brutalized journalist Andy Ngo in Portland, Oregon?

By James Bovard

Washington’s Pennsylvania Avenue saw two competing protests near the White House on Saturday—a Proud Boys’ “Demand Free Speech”  rally, and a left-wing counter-protest organized by #AllOutDC which promoted the immediate expulsion of all accused Nazis, Alt-Right, and White Supremacists from the nation’s capital.

I slipped into the latter protest and took some close-up photos of black-drabbed Antifa activists gathered there to ostensibly lend a hand. After I posted a few photos online,  I saw a copy of the notice that AllOutDC organizers distributed warning the media not to photograph the faces of the left-wing demonstrators without “their explicit, stated consent.”

Mea Culpa! At least I didn’t violate the first rule of furtive photography: make sure the durn flash does not inadvertently go off.  (I also took quirky photos of the right-wing rally, including an unusual number of pro-Roger Stone t-shirts and a “Bikers for Trump” dude holding a giant “End the Bolshevik Media Monopoly” sign, but I saw no micro-managing of the media there.)

Shortly after I left the protests, Antifa demonstrators tried to attack the conservative protestors but the D.C. police easily swatted them away. No wonder AllOutDC’s sheet warned the media: “Be aware that photographs or videos can be used as evidence in court. Please avoid publishing any potentially incriminating photographs or video footage.” Such as the Washington Post photos of Antifa zealots dragging that arch-symbol of fascism, newspaper vending machines, into the street before they were routed by D.C. cops. That media notice could be helpful if prosecutors wanted to prove that Antifa violence was premeditated. (D.C. police did an excellent job of minimizing clashes at the demonstrations.)

Antifa outfits always make me think of Cirque du Soleil rejects. Or maybe their attire was inspired by overdosing on Batman re-runs. The media warning sheet also declared: “Please ensure that you have explicit consent before capturing auto recordings or directly quoting interviewees.” (Emphasis mine). Were they worried that someone might capture the sounds of the Batmobile, or what? They meant “audio” but were perhaps too distraught by Trump’s July 4th military-themed speech to proofread.

Or when Antifa activists knocked Washington Examiner journalist Julio Rosas’s phone out of his hand on Saturday?  Or when Antifa attacked journalists in Washington after the counter-protest to the “Unite the Right” micro-rally in Lafayette Park? Or when Antifa attacked the police and the media last August in Charlottesville?…

Antifa and any other group should be allowed to publicly denounce President Trump as a fascist, tyrant, or serial golf score cheater.  But if the entire nation becomes like Portland, tacitly permitting masked Antifa attackers to maim who they please, American democracy is doomed.
