War Between the US and Turkey? – LewRockwell

Posted by M. C. on February 3, 2018

The textbook definition of blowback.

There ARE options besides war, just not as profitable.

https://www.lewrockwell.com/2018/02/eric-margolis/war-between-the-us-and-turkey/

Why on earth are at least 2,000 US troops mixed up in this fracas in darkest Syria? Because the pro-Israel neocons in Washington, who pretty much run US foreign policy these days, are determined to have revenge for the defeat of US-backed rebel forces in Syria. So it’s once more into the breach near Afrin and the town Manbij though America has zero national interests in Syria. The US first tried to overthrow Syria’s governments in Damascus in 1948 because it was too independent and flirting with the Soviets. Today’s intervention is part of Israel’s plan to fragment Syria and gobble up its water and fertile land resources… Read the rest of this entry »

Too Many Wars. Too Many Enemies.

Posted by M. C. on January 30, 2018

In 500 years when the printing press has been recovered from the ashes there will be a new book-The Fall of the American Empire.

I also predict it will be quite similar to a book today’s generals never read in their government school.

Too Many Wars. Too Many Enemies

If Turkey is not bluffing, U.S. troops in Manbij, Syria, could be under fire by week’s end, and NATO engulfed in the worst crisis in its history.

Turkish President Erdogan said Friday his troops will cleanse Manbij of Kurdish fighters, alongside whom U.S. troops are embedded.

Erdogan’s foreign minister demanded concrete steps by the U.S. to end its support of the Kurds, who control the Syrian border with Turkey east of the Euphrates, all the way to Iraq.

If the Turks attack Manbij, the U.S. will face a choice: Stand by our Kurdish allies and resist the Turks, or abandon the Kurds. Read the rest of this entry »

Kick Turkey Out of NATO – Antiwar.com Original

Posted by M. C. on January 29, 2018

https://original.antiwar.com/justin/2018/01/28/kick-turkey-nato/

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) was founded in 1949, over theobjections of conservatives like Sen. Robert A. Taft, as a supposed bulwark of “democracy” against the allegedly rising tide of totalitarianism, which the American people were told was about ready to cross the stormy Atlantic and land on our shores. Bolsheviks in Brooklyn! Well, we have them there today, but they’re the homegrown variety: the old-fashioned Soviet types are long gone: another fake “threat” that enriched the panic-mongers and robbed the rest of us… Read the rest of this entry »

US Urges Turkey to Focus on ISIS, Not Attack Syrian Kurds – News From Antiwar.com

Posted by M. C. on January 21, 2018

What will we do if the puppet doesn’t do as it is told. Who is the puppet?

https://news.antiwar.com/2018/01/18/us-urges-turkey-to-focus-on-isis-not-attack-syrian-kurds/

Calls for Turkey to “focus on ISIS” have successfully kept them away from the Kurdish YPG for months, but with ISIS virtually defeated in Syria, Turkey likely believes they’ve already waited out that excuse…

A US-Turkish Clash – LewRockwell

Posted by M. C. on January 21, 2018

As is often the case, when the used is as bad as the user, the user gets used.

https://www.lewrockwell.com/2018/01/patrick-j-buchanan/a-us-turkish-clash-in-syria/

The war for dominance in the Middle East, following the crushing of ISIS, appears about to commence in Syria — with NATO allies America and Turkey on opposing sides.

Turkey is moving armor and troops south to Syria’s border enclave of Afrin, occupied by Kurds, to drive them out, and then drive the Syrian Kurds out of Manbij further south as well.

Says President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, “We will destroy all terror nests, one by one, in Syria, starting from Afrin and Manbij.”

For Erdogan, the Kurdish YPG, the major U.S. ally in Syria, is an arm of the Kurdish PKK in Turkey, which we and the Turks have designated as a terrorist organization Read the rest of this entry »

Pentagon Trained Syria’s Al Qaeda “Rebels” in the Use of Chemical Weapons | Global Research – Centre for Research on Globalization

Posted by M. C. on November 20, 2017

So are all those Seymour Hersh articles about gas attack false flags, dutifully ignored by MSM presstitutes, true?  London Review of Books articles because no one else would touch them! My Oh My!

https://www.globalresearch.ca/pentagon-trained-syrias-al-qaeda-rebels-in-the-use-of-chemical-weapons/5583784

This article was first published in April 2017 following the accusations directed against the Syrian government of using chemical weapons against its own people.

The issue is now once more before the UN Security Council. Read carefully.

The Western media refute their  own lies.

Not only do they confirm that the Pentagon has been training the terrorists in the use of chemical weapons, they also acknowledge the existence of a not so secret “US-backed plan to launch a chemical weapon attack on Syria and blame it on Assad’s regime”  Read the rest of this entry »

PUTIN REVEALS 40 COUNTRIES THAT ARE FUNDING ISIS AT THE G20 SUMMIT

Posted by M. C. on September 17, 2017

Like Boko Haram that suddenly appeared after the US state department started funneling arms throught Libya to ‘freedom fighters’, ISIS appears after the US sends ‘non-lethal’ aid to the Syrian free army. The Ben Swann video below is worth watching.

Like Edward Snowden, Putin speaks then truth. it is no wonder the neocon empire builders want him to disappear too.

http://www.collective-evolution.com/2015/11/16/breaking-putin-reveals-4o-countries-that-are-funding-isis-at-the-g20-summit/

“The statesmen will invent cheap lies, putting the blame upon the nation that is attacked, and every man will be glad of those conscience-soothing falsities, and will diligently study them, and refuse to examine any refutations of them; and thus he will by and by convince himself that the war is just, and will thank God for the better sleep he enjoys after this process of grotesque self-deception.”

 Mark Twain (source)

On more than one occasion, Russian President Vladmir Putin has shared information that Western media won’t air. Two months ago he revealed that ISIS is funded by the West (you can watch that video here), and now he is making more noise at the G20 summit that’s currently taking place in Turkey, where he has supposedly shared intelligence data on Islamic State financing with his G20 colleagues. Turkey detains 10 at human rights meeting, U.S., EU concerned | Reuters

Posted by M. C. on July 9, 2017

By Daren Butler and Can Sezer | ISTANBUL

Turkish police have detained 10 people including the local director of Amnesty International and other rights activists on suspicion of membership of a terrorist organization, Amnesty said on Thursday in what it called a “grotesque abuse of power”.

The detentions came less than a month after a court ordered the arrest of the chairman of Amnesty’s Turkey branch, Taner Kilic, on the same charge in a crackdown following an attempted military coup in July 2016. Kilic remains in jail pending trial.

Just another day in NATO member, poison supplying, ISIS and Al Qaeda supporting and trusted US ally Turkey.

Where to Go with Turkey

Posted by M. C. on May 3, 2017

http://www.unz.com/pgiraldi/where-to-go-with-turkey/

Turkey also has supported ISIS when it suited its government to do so and has reportedly been a supplier of sarin gas to rebels inside Syria.

One only has to look at the inherent contradictions in what appears to be the Trump Administration policy towards Syria to understand how the United States has somehow gone down a path that leads nowhere. Last week, NATO member and nominal U.S. ally Turkey bombed Kurdish militiamen operating against ISIS in Iraq and Syria. Iraq is an American ally and one group of Kurds that suffered twenty fatalities was being advised by U.S. special forces. The Kurds, who are reported to be the most effective soldiers in the American supported pushback against ISIS, are described by the Turkish government as terrorists. Read the rest of this entry »

Turkey to Confiscate Gold in New Clever Way – To Help Citizens Earn Money | Armstrong Economics

Posted by M. C. on April 13, 2017

https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/markets-by-sector/precious-metals/gold/turkey-to-confiscate-gold-in-new-clever-way-to-help-citizens-earn-money/

This clever scheme means that the government cannot borrow internationally, so it now wants to confiscate people’s gold using a bond scheme that in the end they will be forced to default. This will be a major test of the saying: You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time*.
It happened here under FDR. At the rate government is taking away rights it won’t be long before it tries again to take your gold again.
