Despite the damage done in Ukraine and NATO’s now apparent inability to support Ukraine’s defense against Russia strongly enough, one item in the western win column is the claim that NATO is more unified following the damage done by Donald Trump. Even aside from NATO preparing for the possible consequences of a second Trump term, that win may not be so unequivocal.

Vladimir Putin “thought NATO would fracture and divide. Instead, NATO is more united and more unified than ever—than ever before,” President Joe Biden said on February 21, 2023 and again in Europe on July 13. “I would argue NATO is stronger than it’s ever been,” he said. “President Putin’s war continues to be a strategic failure,” Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on February 8, 2023. “In fact, that alliance—NATO—is stronger and more united than it’s ever been.”

But fissures have appeared. The smaller NATO powers are mad at the larger ones, as are the middle powers, and the large NATO powers are mad at each other.

The smaller and newer NATO countries have recently raised the divisive question of “whether there are first-rank and second-rank countries in NATO.” “Are we equals or are we not equals?” asked Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas.

The Eastern European members of NATO feel passed over in two ways. First is their lack of representation in the top NATO jobs. The second is the dismissal of their more aggressive stance against Russia and their dismissal of Russian and NATO red lines.

Senior officials in the small Baltic nations of Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, which were all once part of the Soviet Union, maintain that the big NATO powers in Western Europe push them off to the side because of their more aggressive position in support of Ukraine against Russia. They complain that the large Western powers “do Russia policy without consulting people who know far more about Russia than [they] do.”

The Eastern European members of NATO have consistently seen themselves as dragging a reluctant, Western-centric NATO into the battle against Russia in defense of Ukraine. The East, led by Poland and the Czech Republic, has much more aggressively pushed for maximally arming Ukraine and dismissing the risk of escalating the war. Poland led the campaign to send tanks and fighter jets to Ukraine. The Czech Republic recently announced that it was on the verge of purchasing 300,000 artillery shells from countries outside of Europe to make up for European Union shortfalls and has said that the EU could obtain half a million more. By percentage of GDP, Estonia is the leading donor to Ukraine with Lithuania third, Latvia fifth, and Poland eighth. That is ahead of the United States, United Kingdom, France, and Germany.

Congressional Omnibus is Like a Bad Hollywood Movie Sequel

Posted by M. C. on March 26, 2024

by Ron Paul

Unfortunately, this latest sequel is as bad as the previous ones, as the American people are left with a massive $1.2 trillion dollar spending package to add to our already $34 trillion in debt. Military spending will, of course, be increased yet again, as the military-industrial complex demands more of our wealth to feed its ever-increasing appetite.

https://ronpaulinstitute.org/congressional-omnibus-is-like-a-bad-hollywood-movie-sequel

This weekend’s late-night spending vote in Congress seems like another in an endless series of sequels to a bad suspense movie. Just at the brink of “disaster,” just before the stroke of midnight, Congress pulls off a miracle and passes an omnibus bill to save us from a “government shutdown!”

The heroes have saved the day!

And if this military spending increase is not enough, Congressional leadership is promising another huge supplemental bill to further fuel proxy wars in Ukraine and Gaza – with some money to provoke China as well.

Republicans like to talk a good game about reining in spending – especially during election season – but as we learned with this “compromise” and all previous “compromises, it’s all talk. At the end of all the dramatic warnings about shutting the government down, we are left with a Washington-style compromise, meaning the leadership of both parties gets to throw anything and everything they want into the massive bill. Because it is only presented to the rank and file at the last moment before “disaster,” none of the Members get a chance to even read it, much less shape it through amendments and debate.

The Republican House leadership promised the Members 72 hours to read any new bill before a vote, but they broke their promise without hesitation. Members would not have the chance to read the more than 1,000 page bill, which was worked out in secret behind closed doors

A Risky Read: The Real Reason for Ukraine, Gaza, Yemen, and Our Misery

Posted by M. C. on March 22, 2024

Instead of stepping outside the bubble, rather than snatching a drop of courage and fortitude from our lazy and easily corruptible existences, we always do the easy thing. We follow. Human rats traverse the ship’s mooring lines, seething to get to that hidden cargo that will grow our bellies bigger.

A Risky Read: The Real Reason for Ukraine, Gaza, Yemen, and Our Misery

Russia has no future. The British Isles do. Long before the last serving of fish and chips has passed into gastronomy history, Blinis and Pelmeni will have been stricken from all the languages of Earth. At least, this is what Owen Matthews, the author of the book Stalin’s Children, believes. Sadly, he is not alone in his ludicrous and addictive hate of all things Russia.

Spectator’s View

Somebody, please stop me! Morning research has inextricably led me to another media analysis—this time on the weekly British newspaper The Spectator. The title of Matthews’s story will help you understand how a geopolitical analyst can’t seem to get off of Western news. “Putin may seem confident – but Russia’s future is bleak,” is problematic because it is entirely based on a dark fantasy. Matthews, after whining about Mr. Putin running things in Russia some more, launches into a spew about the Ukraine military operation. In his vent, the British son of Ukrainian S.S.R. parents belches a familiar Western strategy burp – the idea that Ukraine ever had any chance of winning a conflict against Russia.

It’s counterproductive to hover over this “made” British journalist for long. As many in the service of the liberal elites freaked over the new multipolar order, Matthews has made the rounds for his lords and masters. During the Bosnian war, he was a mouthpiece from Budapest, Sarajevo, and Belgrade. He also ran interference in the Second Chechen War, as well as in Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan – the usual places propagandist altar boys get sent. The most significant difference between Matthews and a cadre of corporate-owned contemporaries is he’s one hell of a lot better at slicing and dicing the Ukraine situation. On Russia? Well, let’s just say he has to play his role according to direction most of the time.

Like all the other stories we’ve read about Putin, the Euromaidan, Ukraine, Russia, and the state of West-East affairs, all the familiar bell tones are there. Ideas like new Russian imperialism, Russia’s weak army, Putin’s destroyed economy, and even a Russian brain drain exodus are there to rivet the willing idiots tuned in. I assume the Russian mafioso, former Yukos oil boss Mikhail Khodorkovsky, and other Western-backed privateers are the “best and brightest” to whom the Statesman story refers. The magazine’s paywall prevented me from diving deeper into this latest Russophobic rant. The exciting thing here is the question that arises from observing so many talented writers being sucked into the dark wormhole of elitist illusion. Aha! You say? We are onto something much more profound than painting paid propagandists.

Long Live the King

You see, almost all of these Putin haters and China worriers are convinced of their correctness by a system that rewards outcomes. Or the outcomes those who control the system desire. In America and other Western alliance countries, every level of society is “led” toward one desirable outcome – profit. It is not simply ordinary profit but an economic system that makes tribute to a French, Spanish, or English king look like alms for the poor. It’s all very refined, you see. It’s cloaked in ideas like “democracy” and injected into our veins like a serum called “freedom.” Owen Matthews is not the only Brit who believes in his ideas. He’s just got the job of dope dealer for the susceptible masses. But he probably does not know it. Some CIA-groomed tech Titans or Pulitzer winners do understand from whence their fame and fortune is derived. These are clutching the half-filled glass of single malt before, during, and after lunch. At a point, even people like the notorious Victoria Nuland end up looking in the mirror and seeing a son or daughter of Satan himself. Stop and think.

Now, apply your vision of a face wrenched by hate, lies, power struggles, ruined relationships, and way too many chocolates and other sweets. The faces you may visualize are the “little” Victoria Nuland in our society. Or, perhaps, you’re conjuring mental pictures of your next-door neighbor. You know, the one with the big Putin hate, who could not find Ukraine on a map with countries named. I taught geography for a bit. That was until I realized that one child in 100 cared about Ma and Pa, a ballgame, or a trip to Walmart. Sadly, even Ma and Pa America think the United States is twice as big as Africa. You have the beginnings of a window here, right here in this paragraph. Yes, they want us stupid as hell.

CIA, Ukraine Exchange Pre-Divorce Propaganda

Posted by M. C. on February 29, 2024

A New York Times exposé outs years of unsavory details about the Ukraine’s relationship with the CIA, while a Ukrainian spy chief swats down U.S. messaging. Is a breakup at hand?

By Matt Taibbi
Racket News

Over the weekend the New York Times published an epic exposé. “The Spy War: How the C.I.A. Secretly Helps Ukraine Fight Putin,” by Adam Entous and Mitchell Schwirtz, described a decade of CIA-Ukrainian cooperation, featuring details that would never reach public ears under normal circumstances. The opening is worth quoting at length:

Nestled in a dense forest, the Ukrainian military base appears abandoned and destroyed…But that is above ground. Not far away, a discreet passageway descends to a subterranean bunker where teams of Ukrainian soldiers track Russian spy satellites and eavesdrop on conversations between Russian commanders…

The listening post in the Ukrainian forest is part of a C.I.A.-supported network of spy bases constructed in the past eight years that includes 12 secret locations along the Russian border.

Yowza! Officials have long scolded the public that even minor disclosures of “sources and methods” could “risk lives” and must be prevented at all costs. Yet here comes the Times, helping “current and former officials in Ukraine, the United States and Europe” blab a long list of extraordinary details, down to the number of CIA-supported secret bases along the Russian border. An abridged list of revelations:

  • CIA director William Burns made a “secret” visit to Ukraine last Thursday, his tenth since Russia’s invasion;
  • On the night of February 14, 2014, in the middle of the Maidan coup, Ukrainian spy chief Valentyn Nalyvaichenko called the heads of the CIA and Britain’s MI6 and asked for help in rebuilding his agency “from the ground up”;
  • Ukrainian intelligence officials, seeking to prove their value to American counterparts, handed the CIA proof that Russian separatists downed Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 “within hours of the crash” in July of 2014;
  • Then-head of Ukrainian military intelligence Valeriy Kondratiuk handed the CIA “detailed information about the latest Russian nuclear submarine designs” in 2015;
  • “Around” 2016, the CIA “began training an elite Ukrainian commando force” called “Unit 2245” which “captured Russian drones and communications gear so that CIA technicians could reverse-engineer them and crack Moscow’s encryption systems”;
  • The CIA’s chief of station in Kyiv was nicknamed “Santa Claus”;
  • A Ukrainian agent “duped an officer from Russia’s military intelligence service” into providing intelligence that “allowed the C.I.A. to connect Russia’s government to the so-called Fancy Bear hacking group, which had been linked to election interference.”

Former CIA head John Brennan sitting for a month of interviews with Kitty Kelley wouldn’t produce this many juicy reveals. They even recounted the CIA hauling Kondratiuk to a Washington Capitals game to boo Alex Ovechkin, for God’s sake. Are these spy agencies or people pitching a Netflix series?

When intelligence sources line up by the hundred to fill newspapers with “secret” details, they’re almost always doing one of two things: spreading disinformation, or “pre-bunking” embarrassing future revelations. The lavishly overwritten “secret untold story” that puts advance spin on ugly leaks has become a popular genre across this century’s many giant intelligence screwups.

For example, “Obama’s secret struggle to punish Russia for Putin’s election assault,” a 2017 Washington Post piece co-authored by the same reporter bylined in this Times piece, Adam Entous, told the cinematic tale of how Brennan hand-delivered to Barack Obama an “intelligence bombshell” from a prized source “deep inside the Russian government.” The heart-racing narrative revealed how the CIA not only learned of Vladimir Putin’s direct involvement in a campaign to “damage” Hillary Clinton and “help elect her opponent, Donald Trump,” but safely delivered the hush-hush news for the President’s eyes only (before telling the entire world about it of course).

In the wake of multiple disclosures since then suggesting Brennan’s conclusion was “cooked intelligence” and his supposed “longtime source” with access to the “highest level of the Kremlin” was anything but, the Post story in retrospect reads like a grand piece of inspired bullshit, designed to “pre-bunk” inevitable leaks about Brennan’s sourcing. Same with the absurdly vivid accounts in The Guardian and The New Yorker of the alleged British capture of suspicious “interactions” and “illicit communications” between Trump and Russia in 2015 that supposedly triggered the American collusion investigation. Those stories too now read like elaborate spin jobs, put out to defuse future questions about the origins of that investigation.

UKRAINE’S Rothschild Cartel Hitting Stratospheric Psychosis

Posted by M. C. on February 29, 2024

Lockheed Martin is sitting on receivables in the neighborhood of $17 billion. Raytheon is showing $23 billion. Northrup is $7.2 billion. You get the idea – the Government entered into “Contracts” with the military complex and now doesn’t have the money to PAY! In the world of the Mafia, that would mean some legs are being broken and livelihoods destroyed in retaliation… Which explains the absolute frantic call for Ukraine over America.

by Helena

The main source for my last two blogs, Heritage-History.com, was just today completely taken offline.   It published the writings of Eustace Mullins, a Fascist, according to Wikipedia.   Mullins worked with Willis Carto, also a conspiracy theorist, fascist, neoNazi, Holocaust Denier.  Carto published The American Free Press, a far-right, nationalist, separatist media…that aligned with Ron Paul…  yes, Ron Paul the most passive voice on earth central.

This is how the media portrays anyone outside their sphere of Gob Speak. And Peace Loving Ron Paul is now a fascist neoNazi!   IF it wasn’t written – it might make a good satirical comedy skit.  Libertarians are now fascist and must be annihilated at all costs to preserve the Zionist Regime.

Despite all these libelous labels, the one label that destroyed both Carto and Mullins, was Anti-Semitic Holocaust Deniers.   The Zions sued for defamation and – won.  Carto was vilified for using ‘talk-radio’ to espouse his views.  This was a heinous crime for which punishment was the only solution.  Worse, was his crime of presenting sympathetic profiles of such Traitors as:  Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Henry Ford and the venomous Priest, Charles Cochlin.

Charles Cochlin’s crimes?  He was anti-Socialism and anti-Communism.   For this – the Zion Jews destroyed him.

I am quoting from Google sites regarding these anti-Semitic gentlemen.   Verbatim.  The height of these allegations, assertions, and penalizations were incurred between the 1940’s thru 1970’s.  They are dead now – and apparently Google is attempting to suppress their websites, but what they stood for is exactly on par with what we are just now awakening to 50 years later!

The TRUTH was there all the time.  It was unveiled and presented to us.   And we didn’t listen.  Will we listen this time or will they overshadow the Truth again?

The Ruling Caste, The Club, The Cartel is Rothschild at the head of the pyramid.

Jacob Rothschild, knighted by Queen Elizabeth II for his contributions to society, died yesterday.   Next in line is Nathaniel Rothschild.   Nathaniel owns a company that builds, Tesla.  However a spat has arisen as Hannah, the oldest of Rothschild children, is staking her claim into the Empire.  Hannah chairs Yad Hanadiv, a philanthropic foundation in Israel.

Yad Hanadiv was established in memory of Edmond Rothschild who initiated the colonization/settlements throughout Palestine beginning in the mid 1890’s.  In addition, the foundation funded the Open University campuses throughout Israel beginning in 1971, using the same model as was utilized throughout The Open University campuses across Europe. These Open Universities were the brain child of Soros.  And banished from Russia.

It is NOT coincidental that these secular Israeli PM’s routinely cite The Bible as their justification for bombardment of the entire nation – Palestine.  It is NOT coincidental that every Prime Minister of Israel has been secular.   This is their Protocol, as determined by their forefather Edmond Rothschild.

An opportunity presents:   Both Soros and Rothschild are now in the foils of infighting for control of their empires.   Soros youngest son, Alex was given the reins, and Rothschild’s youngest son, Nathaniel, was given the reins leaving the elder children to rise in descent!

Leaving their empires in a vacant space.   The same demise that gave way to the ultimate fall of King Herod’s Empire thru his sons by 30-36 AD.

This is the ideal time – Art of War.

Mike Johnson is being pressured to extreme.  That is obvious.   I feel he may acquiesce as we can only pretend to understand the evil blackmail that these people would levy.  ALL of Congress has been compromised.   Ukraine aide has risen to deafening screeching.   The Threat?   Massive annihilation.

Who’s Brain-Dead Now, Macron?

Posted by M. C. on February 29, 2024

Macron wants to start World War Three based on sheer lies and vanity. He’s not only brain-dead. He’s soul-dead too.

There are already NATO troops in Ukraine…US. When Macron says NATO he means primarily US.

Finian Cunningham

French President Emmanuel Macron wants to send NATO ground troops into Ukraine to defeat Russia.

Only a delusional fool could make such a crass proposal which goes to show that Macron is brain-dead. NATO troops deployed to fight Russian forces would mean an all-out war, which most likely would spiral into a nuclear conflagration.

Ironically, the French leader made headlines a while back when he labeled the US-led NATO alliance as being “brain-dead”. He’s now competing for the same epithet.

When Macron made those harsh remarks about NATO in an interview with the Economist in November 2019, some observers thought that he was being intelligently critical of the transatlantic military organization and how it was no longer fit for purpose in the modern age.

But, no, Macron wasn’t offering constructive criticism of NATO or American leadership. He was simply being a conceited charlatan, trying to promote himself as the “strong leader” of Europe and peddling his hobby horse of building up a European army by appearing to bad mouth NATO.

This week, the former Rothschild banker was at it again, indulging in his grandiose fantasies of leading the rest of Europe.

Macron hosted 25 European heads of state or government at the Conference in Support of Ukraine. In the grandeur of the Elysee Palace, he warned that Russia “must not win the war in Ukraine” otherwise, he claimed, the whole of Europe would succumb to Russian aggression.

This is reckless and dangerous fantasy by the French president indulging in the most unhinged Russophobia. Moscow has categorically stated that it has no interest in anything beyond denazifying the NATO-sponsored regime in Kiev and protecting its national security.

Two Years On… Ukraine Conflict a Historic Watershed Exposing Western Imperialism’s Dead-End

Posted by M. C. on February 27, 2024

The emerging multipolar world order led by Russia, China, and the Global South is pushing the old Western arrogant order into historical oblivion

The upshot is that Ukraine has been callously devastated by the United States and its imperialist partners in a proxy war against Russia – a war that the Western powers have all but lost.

But this epoch-making conflict has significance way beyond the disaster of Ukraine.

This week marks the second anniversary of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine that began on February 24, 2022. President Vladimir Putin ordered the intervention of Russian forces for two reasons: to protect the Russian-speaking population of the Donbass region which had endured eight years of NATO-backed aggression; and, secondly, to denazify the regime that the Western powers had illegally installed with a coup d’état in Kiev in 2014. The tenth anniversary of that coup on February 22 was also marked this week.

Two years on, the first objective has been substantially achieved. Russian forces control most of the Donbass region, as well as Kherson, Zaporozhye, and Crimea. These regions are now legally part of the Russian Federation following historic referenda. In sum, Ukraine has lost about 20 percent of its pre-conflict territory to Russia. The concerned populations contend that they have rejoined Mother Russia.

The military victory last week for Russian forces in the key city of Avdeevka portends the imminent full taking of the Donbass along its historic provincial lines. That breakthrough also speaks of the near collapse of the Kiev regime forces. Two years on, the cities and towns of Donetsk and Lugansk have been rebuilt after suffering the vandalism and war crimes of the Kiev regime. The NATO-backed regime still attacks communities but the Russian-speaking regions of Ukraine are appreciably safer and better off than they were two years ago.

As for the second objective, the denazification of the Kiev regime has still not yet been achieved. However, the regime is but a shell of its former incarnation when with the help of NATO weapons and military advisers it was waging a brutal aggression against ethnic Russian communities.

Moscow has stated that it will continue its military operation in Ukraine until the neo-nazi regime is eliminated. There seems to be little doubt that that objective will be met given the superior firepower on the Russian side and the rapidly deteriorating condition of the NATO-backed forces.

The Russian achievement is quite remarkable given that the U.S.-led NATO bloc (30 nations) has flooded Ukraine with a vast array of heavy weapons. The United States and its European allies have spent – wasted – up to $200 billion in supporting the Kiev regime over the past two years. Despite the inordinate flow of weaponry and mercenaries, Russia has secured the territory it set out to obtain, and the NATO-backed side is facing collapse.

The course of the war is on Russia’s side. From the outset, Moscow said it had no intention to occupy all of Ukraine. But the collapse of the regime in a rump state is no doubt something that Russia wants, and the betting odds point to that eventuality as the cabal in Kiev descends into corruption, backstabbing, and infighting.

But, importantly, the military situation in Ukraine is only part of a much bigger picture of global confrontation and one that speaks to an existential crisis for Western imperialism.

Two Years After the Start of the SMO, the West is Totally Paralyzed

Posted by M. C. on February 26, 2024

By Pepe Escobar
Strategic Culture

Many Western economies, especially in Europe, are actually stagnating against this background. These statistics are from Western-supervised institutions – the IMF, the World Bank and the OECD. These institutions are becoming relics from the past. Western domination is already affecting their ability to meet the requirements of the times.

Exactly two years ago this Saturday, on February 24, 2022, Vladimir Putin announced the launching – and described the objectives – of a Special Military Operation (SMO) in Ukraine. That was the inevitable follow-up to what happened three days before, on February 21 – exactly 8 years after Maidan 2014 in Kiev – when Putin officially recognized the self-proclaimed republics of Donetsk and Lugansk.

During this – pregnant with meaning – short space of only three days, everyone expected that the Russian Armed Forces would intervene, militarily, to end the massive bombing and shelling that had been going on for three weeks across the frontline – which even forced the Kremlin to evacuate populations at risk to Russia. Russian intel had conclusive proof that the NATO-backed Kiev forces were ready to execute an ethnic cleansing of Russophone Donbass.

February 24, 2022 was the day that changed 21st century geopolitics forever, in several complex ways. Above all, it marked the beginning of a vicious, all-out confrontation, “military-technical” as the Russians call it, between the Empire of Chaos, Lies and Plunder, its easily pliable NATOstan vassals, and Russia – with Ukraine as the battleground.

There is hardly any question Putin had calculated, before and during these three fateful days, that his decisions would unleash the unbounded fury of the collective West – complete with a tsunami of sanctions.

Ay, there’s the rub; it’s all about Sovereignty. And a true sovereign power simply cannot live under permanent threats. It’s even feasible that Putin had wanted (italics mine) Russia to get sanctioned to death. After all, Russia is so naturally wealthy that without a serious challenge from abroad, the temptation is enormous to live off its rents while importing what it could easily produce.

Exceptionalists always gloated that Russia is “a gas station with nuclear weapons”. That’s ridiculous. Oil and gas, in Russia, account for roughly 15% of GDP, 30% of the government budget, and 45% of exports. Oil and gas add power to the Russian economy – not a drag. Putin shaking Russia’s complacency generated a gas station producing everything it needs, complete with unrivalled nuclear and hypersonic weapons. Beat that.

Ukraine has “never been less than a nation”

Xavier Moreau is a French politico-strategic analyst based in Russia for 24 years now. Graduated from the prestigious Saint-Cyr military academy and with a Sorbonne diploma, he hosts two shows on RT France.

His latest book, Ukraine: Pourquoi La Russie a Gagné (“Ukraine: Why Russia has Won”), just out, is an essential manual for European audiences on the realities of the war, not those childish fantasies concocted across the NATOstan sphere by instant “experts” with less than zero combined arms military experience.

Moreau makes it very clear what every impartial, realist analyst was aware of from the beginning: the devastating Russian military superiority, which would condition the endgame. The problem, still, is how this endgame – “demilitarization” and “denazification” of Ukraine, as established by Moscow – will be achieved.

What is already clear is that “demilitarization”, of Ukraine and NATO, is a howling success that no new wunderwaffen – like F-16s – will be able to change.

Moreau perfectly understands how Ukraine, nearly 10 years after Maidan, is not a nation; “and has never been less than a nation”. It’s a territory where populations that everything separates are jumbled up. Moreover, it has been a – “grotesque” – failed state ever since its independence. Moreau spends several highly entertaining pages going through the corruption grotesquerie in Ukraine, under a regime that “gets its ideological references simultaneously via admirers of Stepan Bandera and Lady Gaga.”
