US Airstrike Kills Family of Eight Fleeing Syria Fighting — News from Antiwar.com

Unfortunately when you are not sure who the enemy is the response (or order) is to kill everything that moves.

While it may be an unfortunate incident, bad intel or collateral damage the real reason may be more grim.

Or it may be just a bit of fun as in the murder of the Reuters camera man.

US Airstrike Hit North Syria Mosque, Killing Scores — News from Antiwar.com

Posted by Martin C. Fox on March 18, 2017

The Pentagon had initially denied that they had attacked the mosque, but did claim that they attacked an “al-Qaeda meeting” right across the street from it. They even went so far as to speculate that someone else might’ve just happened to bomb the mosque around the same time
We bomb a mosque, kill innocent civilians, lie to the public to try and hide the incompetance and in the process recruit more Al Qaeda than we kill.

No worries though. We have lots more bombs. We will try and try again until there is nothing left to kill.

The redeeming value part is it keeps a lot of people in business.

That is how we do things in Washington.
