A letter to the Erie Times-News

Recently I outlined causes for societal violence that we choose to ignore.
Unfortunately, the progressive go-to solution is people control. The go-to country for people control is the UK.
Noting US violent crime rates have been dropping for years, the London murder rate has now surpassed that of New York City. The UK has crushing gun control, so what gives?
The weapon of choice, particularly for immigrants, is the knife. The UK has recently pioneered knife control. A cursory on-line look at these laws leaves one wondering how one can own a kitchen knife longer than 3 inches. Folding knives that lock are forbidden.
Don’t defend your family with a knife or cause an attacker any harm in the UK. You will be in more trouble than any attacker, assuming you are still alive.
