The Communist Van Jones and Friends Ready to help Re-Elect Obama

Posted by M. C. on October 9, 2011

It has taken the form of the “Rebuild the Dream” organization which works hand in glove with “Take Back the American Dream”.  Self proclaimed communist Van Jones heads the “Rebuild” effort.  Obama tried to make Jones the Green Czar until his communist proclivities became common knowledge.  The groups’ goal is to keep Obama in office.  According to the Canada Free Press the Communist Party of the US (CPUSA) will not field a candidate against Obama.  He is in effect their candidate.  The CPUSA is apparently quite happy with Jones’ and Obama’s work.

Another cog in the communist connection is Valerie Jarrett. Jarrett is an intimate Obama administration adviser who is tight with Van Jones.  She was supposedly introduced to the president’s political circle by her father-in-law, a communist who worked with the radical Obama mentor Frank Marshall Davis. Jarrett married Davis’ son William in 1983.  She was deputy chief of staff for Mayor Richard Daley when time she hired Michelle Robinson, then engaged to Obama.

Obama’s relationship with poet Frank Marshall Davis is described by Obama as close, though Obama has the prudence to identify him only as “Frank” in Dreams of My Father. The 1951 report of the Commission on Subversive Activities to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii identified him as a CPUSA member. Anti-communist congressional committees, such as the House Un-American Activities accused Davis of involvement in several communist-front organizations.

Obama’s Mother and Father were certainly known for their socialist leanings.  What is more important is the group that Obama currently has surrounding him.    Communists are no strangers to “Progressive” administrations, Harry Hopkins and Donald and Alger Hiss in the FDR administration are prime examples.  There was no big effort to weed these people out when allegations surfaced.  Whittaker Chambers feared for his life when he outed Hiss during the Truman administration.   FDR had a great friend in “Papa Joe” Stalin.  FDR is a hero of our current president if memory serves.  Considering the fate of the grand experiment in the USSR, one wonders why communism is even a consideration.  Obama turned Liberal into a dirty word so now they are Progressive.  Communism is a driving force in Obamaworld.  Will there be another name change soon?  A rose by any other name is a rose as the man said.

  1. Mr. Fox,

You wrote, “Whittaker Chambers feared for his life when he outed Hiss during the Truman administration”: this is factually incorrect. My grandfather feared when he defected from the Soviet underground in 1938. In August 1948, under subpoena from HUAC, he named former Federal government officials (among them, Alger Hiss) who had served in his underground apparatuses during the 1930s. Though there were moments of doubt about his family’s safety in those latter days, they did not compare to the fear he experienced when defecting. The first chapter in his 1952 memoir _Witness_ is called “Flight” and describes that period in detail.

    • Mr. Chambers

Thank you for the clarification. My comment was from a recollection of events surrounding the hiding of evidence in the pumpkin field as described in Sam Tanenhaus’ biography. I do not recall mention of “Flight”, I shall have to read it. I would appreciate your comments on the other aspects of my piece.

      • Having read only Tanenhaus’ book I feel that Whittaker got in above his head in a game he came to realize was no good. He had the courage of his convictions and of course suffered for it. No good deed goes unpunished. The people he sought help from were no better than those he was fighting, in my opinion. The caliber of law enforcement is no better today as we can tell from yet another trumped up (Iranian) terror plot.
My opinion of Whittaker Chambers is high.

  2. My own comments about President Obama vis-a-vis Whittaker Chambers do not delve into any specifics as your piece does. They appear in this review of Ill Fares the Land, one of the last books written by the late Tony Judt, who died of ALS last year:
