Sister Sarah was Right About Death Panels

Posted by M. C. on January 24, 2012

I can remember when there was debate about how the cost containment policies of mandated government insurance would possibly deny health care in certain cases.  Sarah Palin, in her learned yet folksy  manner, summarized the issue by coining the phrase DEATH PANEL!!!  Well it looks like Sarah is right.  Please read about the lady whose was told her daughter could not have a kidney transplant because the daughter is “retarded“.

Today Jack Kevorkian is regarded as evil. Someday though this may not be the case. The Nazi’s “final solution” is much too overt to be repeated. Instead, I can see the day soon coming when the government can no longer afford to accommodate the helpless people in society. The financial burden will be shifted back to the family. Then the Constitution may be awakened to discover another right. The right to do the “right thing.” The right thing, of course, is to choose not to burden your family with your useless self or loved one.

Services will simply not be provided to older citizens. As we age we will be offered less and less medical options. The most will be available to the the young and very healthy middle aged. Of course the wealthy will be able to go to Asia for designer procedures for cash. It is a grim out look for many, but as time goes by in the Brave New World thats coming, maybe we might not want to remain.
