    No doubt the military and “law enforcement” will gladly turn on the citizens. Years ago though I read about one possible exception that the government was concerned about. U.S. Air Force officers were deemed least likely to turn on the citizenry and most likely to rebel against the government in such a situation. That was 20 years ago. It could all be different now.

    I think the gun grab will go like this. Government agents, i.e. police and military, will seize all sports stores weapons and ammo. All retail outlets will be grabbed at once. Known gun dealers will be arrested and their guns and ammo seized. This will lure some outspoken gun owners out in a public protest where some will be shot and the others arrested. Threats of long prison sentences will compel many others to turn in their guns. Those trying to travel with guns or hide their guns will will stand out and be arrested. Another appeal to turn them in. An appeal to turn in your neighbor and then its door to door.
