Watch “Washington Neocons To Send Taiwan Billions In Weapons” on YouTube

Posted by M. C. on September 16, 2022

A Bipartisan group of Congressional warmongers is pushing a multi-billion dollar military assistance package for Taiwan. The measure will include new language designating Taiwan a de-facto “major non-NATO ally.” Clearly the Ukraine model is being applied to Taiwan: fighting mainland China down to the last Taiwanese.

More proposed taxpayer supplied, inflation stoking billions promoting war against China. Don’t worry, Raytheon and McDonnell Douglas will do alright. Check the numbers below.

Looking at the Economic Myth of the “Soft Landing”

Posted by M. C. on September 14, 2022

If inflation is defined as increases in the money supply rather than increases in prices, then it becomes clear that all that is required to counter it is to close all the loopholes for the generation of money out of “thin air.” The increases in the money supply and not increases in prices inflict damage to the wealth generation process.

Originally, paper money was not regarded as money but merely as a representation of gold. Various paper money receipts represented claims on gold stored with the banks. The holders of paper receipts could convert them into gold whenever they deemed necessary. Because people found it more convenient to use paper receipts to exchange for goods and services, these receipts came to be regarded as money itself.

Frank Shostak

According to commentators, countering inflation requires monetary authorities to actively restrain the economy, with “experts” believing that higher interest rates need not cause an economic slump. Instead, they believe that the Fed cab orchestrate a “soft landing.” It is questionable, however. that a soft-landing scenario is possible.

Money Printing Creates Economic Damage

By fulfilling the role of the medium of exchange, money enables something to be exchanged for it and this, in turn, enables the received money to be exchanged for something else, also by means of money. If the receipts for gold that are accepted as genuine money are backed by gold. there will be an honest exchange—i.e., something for something or wealth for wealth.

In contrast, receipts not backed by gold, which are employed in an exchange, set in motion an exchange of nothing for something. The unbacked receipts are not proper money, which is gold. By means of the unbacked by gold receipts, goods are diverted from wealth generators to the holders of the unbacked by gold receipts. This in turn weakens wealth generators and in turn weakens the process of wealth formation.

Cashing Out: Fauci Hints of Major Post Government Payday

Posted by M. C. on September 14, 2022

Government Health bureaucrat keeps next gig a secret, citing “government ethics.”

Fauci — in between the usual obnoxious morality signaling and endless bouts of total hypocrisy — made it clear that he was not retiring, but moving outside of the public sector, where he is not restricted by government ethics rules.

By Jordan Schachtel
The Dossier

Anthony Fauci isn’t done yet. The 81 going on 82 year old lifetime bureaucrat is leaving Government Health, but there’s a few things that he wants to do before calling it a career, and everything seems to point to a massive payday in 2023.

In a new interview with Government Executive magazine, Fauci — in between the usual obnoxious morality signaling and endless bouts of total hypocrisy — made it clear that he was not retiring, but moving outside of the public sector, where he is not restricted by government ethics rules.

“There are a few things that I would want to do outside of the realm of the federal government while I still have the energy and the motivation and the good health to do that,” Fauci said in the interview.

When Fauci announced his retirement a few weeks ago, The Dossier took notice of the peculiar language selected by the NIAID chief.

The relevant portion of his statement reads:

“I will be leaving these positions in December of this year to pursue the next chapter of my career.”

Now we know that this was very purposeful rhetoric. The nation’s highest paid federal official is taking his “talents” to the private sector.

EXCLUSIVE: Greenpeace Founder Patrick Moore Says Climate Change Based on False Narratives

Posted by M. C. on September 14, 2022

Prominent scientist backs up claim that there is ‘no climate emergency’

“They are primarily focused on creating narratives, stories, that are designed to instill fear and guilt into the public so the public will send them money.”

By Lee Yun-Jeong

Patrick Moore, one of the founders of Greenpeace, said in an email obtained by The Epoch Times that his reasons for leaving Greenpeace were very clear: “Greenpeace was ‘hijacked’ by the political left when they realized there was money and power in the environmental movement. [Left-leaning] political activists in North America and Europe changed Greenpeace from a science-based organization to a political fundraising organization,” Moore said.

Moore left Greenpeace in 1986, 15 years after he co-founded the organization.

“The ‘environmental’ movement has become more of a political movement than an environmental movement,” he said. “They are primarily focused on creating narratives, stories, that are designed to instill fear and guilt into the public so the public will send them money.”

He said they mainly operate behind closed doors with other political operatives at the U.N., World Economic Forum, and so on, all of which are primarily political in nature.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change [IPCC] is “not a science organization,” he said. “It is a political organization composed of the World Meteorological Organization and the United Nations Environment Program.

“The IPCC hires scientists to provide them with ‘information’ that supports the ‘climate emergency’ narrative.

Their campaigns against fossil fuels, nuclear energyCO2plastic, etc., are misguided and designed to make people think the world will come to an end unless we cripple our civilization and destroy our economy. They are now a negative influence on the future of both the environment and human civilization.”

“Today, the left has adopted many policies that would be very destructive to civilization as they are not technically achievable. Only look at the looming energy crisis in Europe and the UK, which Putin is taking advantage of. But it is of their own making in refusing to develop their own natural gas resources, opposing nuclear energy, and adopting an impossible position on fossil fuels in general,” Moore wrote.

The Left ‘Hijacked’ Greenpeace

He said “green” for the environment and “peace” for the people were the organization’s founding principles, but peace was largely forgotten, and green had become the sole agenda.

“Many [so-called] ‘environmental’ leaders were now saying that ‘humans are the enemies of the Earth, the enemies of Nature.’ I could not accept that humans are the only evil species. This is too much like ‘original sin,’ that humans are born with evil, but all the other species are good, even cockroaches, mosquitos, and diseases,” Moore argued.

He said the new dominant philosophy is that the world would be better if fewer people existed.

“But the people who said this were not volunteering to be the first to go away. They behave as if they are superior to others. This kind of ‘pride’ and ‘conceit’ is the worst of the Cardinal Sins,” Moore said.

Environmental Activist

As a prominent scholar, ecologist, and long-time leader in the international environmental field, Patrick Moore is widely regarded as one of the world’s most qualified experts on the environment. He is also a founder of Greenpeace, the world’s largest environmental activist organization.

Moore received his Ph.D. in Ecology from the University of British Columbia in 1974 and an Honorary Doctorate of Science from North Carolina State University in 2005.

He co-founded Greenpeace in 1971 and served as president of Greenpeace Canada for nine years. From 1979 to 1986, Moore served as the Director of Greenpeace International, a driving force shaping the group’s policies and directions. During his 15-year tenure, Greenpeace became the world’s largest environmental activist organization.

In 1991, Moore founded Greenspirit, a consultancy focusing on environmental policies, energy, climate change, biodiversity, genetically modified food, forests, fisheries, food, and resources.

Between 2006 and 2012, Moore served as co-chairman of the Clean and Safe Energy Coalition, a U.S.-based environmental advocacy group.

In 2014, he was appointed Chairman of Ecology, Energy, and Prosperity of Frontier Centre for Public Policy, a non-partisan Canadian public policy think tank.

In 2019 and 2020, Moore served as the Chair of CO2 Coalition, a U.S.-based nonprofit environmental advocacy group dedicated to disputing false claims on CO2 as relates to climate change.

Wow! Twitter Green Lights Anti-Trans Movement

Posted by M. C. on September 14, 2022

My guess this is just playing the polls. Don’t mistake this for a sudden gushing of integrity.

By Jack Cashill
American Thinker

https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2022/09/wow_twitter_green_lights_antitrans_movement.html

In the history of American social movements, September 11 may take on new significance. September 11, 2022, is the day the powers that be allowed LGBWithoutTheT to trend on Twitter. In broad daylight, lesbians and gays disassociated themselves from the transgender movement, and Twitter gave them a platform. This was a major turnaround. Just a month earlier Twitter had banned “Gays Against Groomers” for “hateful conduct.”

For those not familiar with Twitter, at a given time about five or six stories are prominently featured as “trending.” Twitter claims that trends are “tailored for you based on your location and who you follow,” but then adds a critical disclaimer: “There will be many world and local news events and conversations that will appear in your trends regardless of your personalization.”

If Twitter chose to let #LGBWithoutTheT trend for me, it trended for everyone. I suspect someone above the Twitter brass encouraged them to do just that. With the elections just two months away, the increasingly noisy and oppressive trans movement was becoming too much of a political liability.

In the past year or so, while the woke were storming the barricades on behalf of their oppressed comrades and the corporate suits were kowtowing to the transgender community’s every demand, only one group had the clout and cojones to speak out, and that was the “LGBs,” lesbians, gays, and bi-sexuals. The resistance among LGBs to the Ts has been brewing for some time. Sunday, it percolated to the surface.

The LGB resistance would seem to fall into two general categories, one shared by all thinking people. Said a bi-sexual woman,

“I have nothing in common with activists who are trying to sterilise children and invade sex specific places. It’s sad that I don’t even identify as someone within the LGBTQ community anymore because of one small group of extremists.”

Said a gay man,

“Wanting to cut your dick or boobs off is not LGB. Wanting to enter women’s locker rooms as men is not LGB. Wanting to compete against women as a man is not LGB. Wanting to give puberty blockers and sex change hormones to children is not LGB.”

“Sasha” cut right to the chase:

“As a lesbian I have nothing in common with a movement that claims men can be lesbians, and is so determined to turn (mostly gay and autistic) kids into lifelong medical patients they drag opponents to court regularly. I want nothing to do with this lunacy.”

The second point of resistance was more personal and distinctive. LGBs are apparently weary of being called bigots for their collective failure to “date” trans people. Wrote one lesbian,

“We’re better off without the homophobic trans idiots, i don’t need men (transwomen) telling me who i’m allowed to be attracted too, being same sex attracted doesn’t make you transphobic.”

Said another, “I am not sexually attracted to somebody with a penis – even if they dress up like a woman…. Being attracted based on sexual traits is now, uh, transphobic.” Said a gay man, “Gay ppl are assaulted & called bigots & pervs in need of conversion therapy – because they don’t want to f**k someone of the opposite sex.”

Reversing course on the good ship “Trans” will be no easier than doing a quick 180 on an aircraft carrier. On August 22, for instance, the all-purpose British LGBT site PinkNews headlined an article, “Hate-fuelled ‘Gays Against Groomers’ invited on Fox News about being suspended from Twitter.” Until September 11, few in the gay media and no one in the mainstream media showed any sign of easing up on Trans critics.

The US-Led World Order Is Faltering… Here’s Why It’s Bad News for Europe

Posted by M. C. on September 14, 2022

by Chris MacIntosh

The effect on the West of U.S. sanctions and military operations against Russia has been to lock Europe into a political and economic Iron Curtain of dependency on the United States, while driving Russia to form closer ties with the US enemies, namely China and Iran.

It is so myopically and comically stupid that only bureaucrats in their ivory towers suffering massive hubris, at the tail end of the Empires days could think such a strategy had any merit whatsoever.

The sanctions against Russia have accelerated the fragmentation of systems while backfiring spectacularly. Consider that India is now buying Russian oil, then exporting it to Europe – at a premium. China is buying Russian crude, refining it in China, and selling it to Europe – at a premium. And the head-choppers (Saudi’s) are buying Russian oil, swapping it out for their own and selling theirs to Europe – at a premium.

Europe is the loser in all situations. They still get Russian energy, they just pay far more for it, eroding their own manufacturing competitiveness, while sending Europeans’ capital to Riyadh, Beijing, Delhi and Moscow for the privilege. Swaps on oil within OPEC are already taking place and will continue.

So not only do these sanctions destroy Europe economically, while pushing US enemies closer together but they will inevitably cause Europeans to hate the US…

Take. Viktor Orban, Hungary’s prime minister, who accurately said that Brussels has “shot itself in the lungs” with its sanctions.

But for Europe, it is obvious that it is too late.

How Monarchs Became Servants of the State

Posted by M. C. on September 13, 2022

Ryan McMaken

Hayes Brown at MSNBC writes this week, for example, on how Elizabeth held together a declining institution, but “It is entirely probable that [new King Charles III] and his likely successor, Prince William, will oversee the unraveling of the monarchy itself.”

We shall see.

But in one respect Brown is undeniably right when he says: “the wheels of the state will continue turning without her.” Of course they will. In the modern world, none of the monarchs of Europe are critical institutions within the regimes over which they ostensibly “reign.”

https://mises.org/wire/how-monarchs-became-servants-state

European monarchs come and go, but the American media—no doubt largely due to the fact the British speak and write in English—follows the British monarchy more closely than others. American pundits didn’t have much to say when King Juan Carlos of Spain abdicated in 2014 in the wake of an embezzlement scandal. But it’s only been a few hours since the death of Queen Elizabeth II, and the speculation about the future of the British monarchy is already plentiful.

Indeed, the mere fact that we refer to “the state” as something distinct from a monarch at all illustrates a crucial fact about the relationship between monarchs and the state in the modern world: states have surpassed and replaced the monarchs as the true source of legal and military power within their respective territories. Moderns states have subsequently expanded this power far beyond what even the most ambitious monarchs of centuries past dreamed about. There is an irony here, however. In Europe, it was the monarchs themselves who built up law courts and military institutions into the immense states that we know today. In the process, though, the monarchs lost control of these increasingly unwieldy and bureaucratic institutions. Eventually, the monarchs grew to become appendages of the state, rather than the other way around, as the monarchs had originally intended. This all occurred even before the advent of democratic states. By the nineteenth century, the old model of private dynastic rule had been overturned by the machinery of states, both democratic and not.

Monarchy before the State

Certainly, the monarchies of today should not be confused with the monarchies that existed before the state rose to prominence in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.

9/11: A Conspiracy Theory

Posted by M. C. on September 13, 2022

By Charles Burris

On the morning of September 11, 2001, 19 men armed with boxcutters directed by a man on dialysis in a cave fortress halfway around the world using a satellite phone and a laptop directed the most sophisticated penetration of the most heavily-defended airspace in the world, overpowering the passengers and the military combat-trained pilots on 4 commercial aircraft before flying those planes wildly off course for over an hour without being molested by a single fighter interceptor.

The SEC destroyed their records on the investigation into the insider trading before the attacks, but that’s OK because destroying the records of the largest investigation in SEC history is just part of routine record keeping.

TRANSCRIPT: On the morning of September 11, 2001, 19 men armed with boxcutters directed by a man on dialysis in a cave fortress halfway around the world using a satellite phone and a laptop directed the most sophisticated penetration of the most heavily-defended airspace in the world, overpowering the passengers and the military combat-trained pilots on 4 commercial aircraft before flying those planes wildly off course for over an hour without being molested by a single fighter interceptor.

These 19 hijackers, devout religious fundamentalists who liked to drink alcoholsnort cocaine, and live with pink-haired strippers, managed to knock down 3 buildings with 2 planes in New York, while in Washington a pilot who couldn’t handle a single engine Cessna was able to fly a 757 in an 8,000 foot descending 270 degree corskscrew turn to come exactly level with the ground, hitting the Pentagon in the budget analyst office where DoD staffers were working on the mystery of the 2.3 trillion dollars that Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld had announced “missing” from the Pentagon’s coffers in a press conference the day before, on September 10, 2001.

Luckily, the news anchors knew who did it within minutes, the pundits knew within hours, the Administration knew within the day, and the evidence literally fell into the FBI’s lap. But for some reason a bunch of crazy conspiracy theorists demanded an investigation into the greatest attack on American soil in history.

The investigation was delayedunderfundedset up to fail, a conflict of interest and a cover up from start to finish. It was based on testimony extracted through torture, the records of which were destroyed. It failed to mention the existence of WTC7Able DangerPtechSibel EdmondsOBL and the CIA, and the drills of hijacked aircraft being flown into buildings that were being simulated at the precise same time that those events were actually happening. It was lied to by the Pentagon, the CIA, the Bush Administration and as for Bush and Cheney…well, no one knows what they told it because they testified in secretoff the recordnot under oath and behind closed doors. It didn’t bother to look at who funded the attacks because that question is of “little practical significance“. Still, the 9/11 Commission did brilliantly, answering all of the questions the public had (except most of the victims’ family members’ questions) and pinned blame on all the people responsible (although no one so much as lost their job), determining the attacks were “a failure of imagination” because “I don’t think anyone could envision flying airplanes into buildings ” except the Pentagon and FEMA and NORAD and the NRO.

The DIA destroyed 2.5 TB of data on Able Danger, but that’s OK because it probably wasn’t important.

The SEC destroyed their records on the investigation into the insider trading before the attacks, but that’s OK because destroying the records of the largest investigation in SEC history is just part of routine record keeping.
