These Are the Kinds of Pilots You Are Going to Get on United Flights Now That It Is Going on a Woke Pilot Hiring Spree

Posted by M. C. on April 12, 2021

We are talking authoritarian and woke. Early in his career, Kirby worked at The Pentagon as a budget analyst for the United States Secretary of Defense for three years, at the time Dick Cheney headed the Defense Department. Maybe this is where he picked up his authoritarian streak. Curiously, Kirby does not list his time at Defense on his LinkedIn bio.

And then, of course, there is this latest announcement from United under his leadership:

Our flight deck should reflect the diverse group of people on board our planes every day. That’s why we plan for 50% of the 5,000 pilots we train in the next decade to be women or people of color.

Scott Kirby

United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby is deep in the woke ether.

I doubt there is another executive in the airline industry that is as woke and as enthusiastic a supporter of big lefty government as he is.

A few facts about him and what occurs under his reign at United:

  • From Inc.com: Over the past couple of weeks, Kirby has stepped out in front of his competitors at other airlines — and frankly, in front of most of corporate America — by saying he wants United Airlines to make the Covid-19 vaccine mandatory for all United employees…American, Delta, and Southwest Airlines; each confirmed that it has no current plans to make the vaccine mandatory for employees.
  • United Airlines and Southwest are the only airlines that require an ID to fly. It is literally easier to get past  TSA agents than United “flight attendants.” (TSA accepts some excuses. United has zero tolerance for those without ID on them.)
  • United Airlines issued a political statement and called Georgia’s new voting law “wrong” and claimed it “infringes on the right to vote of fellow Americans.”

This is the one that is most concerning.

John Green explains why this latest woke move by Kirby could be dangerous:

To fully appreciate the flaw in United’s decision, it’s important to understand the reasoning of the diversity industry.  When I was an engineering manager, I had occasion to hire a number of new engineers.  To ensure diversity, our HR department would be intimately involved in the hiring decisions.  Their reasoning was that any person that met the job requirements could do the job.  They had no recognition that a person with greater capabilities may do the job better.  The qualifications were to be treated as strictly binary — the person could either do the job or not.

Since I was prohibited from looking for the best candidate, I was required to make selections from the remaining pool of qualified candidates, based on various diversity hiring criteria.  It was presumed that a person with greater qualifications/capabilities wouldn’t provide added value over those who were merely qualified.  Therefore, as the hiring manager I was not permitted to seek competitive advantage by hiring the “best.”  As long as a candidate could do the job, and met diversity criteria, that was good enough.

I have no doubt that any qualified pilot can fly from point A to point B and land an airplane.  However, the danger in diversity thinking becomes apparent when the job differs from the routine.  In 1983, Captain Bob Pearson had the unfortunate experience of being the command pilot of a Boeing 767 that experienced total engine failure.  He did something that the Boeing engineers said was impossible — he glided the plane, without power, to a landing with no injuries.  The plane became known in the aviation community as the Gimli Glider.  It turns out Captain Pearson’s qualifications exceeded those required of airline pilots.  He was also a highly experienced glider pilot.  In this case, was having the “best” somewhat better?

A more recent example is that of Captain Sully Sullenberger.  In 2009, shortly after takeoff from New York City, Captain Sullenberger’s Airbus A320 experienced a double bird strike.  After total engine failure, Sully successfully landed the aircraft on the Hudson River with no casualties.  It became known as the miracle on the Hudson.  It turns out that Captain Sullenberger’s qualifications exceeded the minimum requirements for airline pilots.  In addition to being an experienced Air Force pilot, he earned an advanced degree from Purdue University (my alma matter), was an accident investigator for the NTSB, and was an expert in the psychology of air crew functioning during a crisis.  That last item may not be very important during a pilot’s normal day at the office, but it comes in rather handy when landing on a river — no?…

The reality is that employees are not interchangeable components of a machine.  Organizations, both business and government, are living and breathing organisms in which the quality of the individual components matter.  Having people that exceed the minimum requirements provides value.  If you question that statement, consider the relative value that football players provide to their team.  Did Tom Brady’s movement to Tampa Bay have any impact on either the Patriots or the Buccaneers?  The next time you board a plane, do you want Tom Brady at the controls — or is Johnny Manziel good enough?

Kirby doesn’t want the best pilots, he wants the pilots that will make him look like a woke hero.

Think about that the next time you are boarding a United flight and gaze into the cockpit to see who is going to be flying.  –RW

Major Covid Myth Destroyed – Is Freedom Winning?

Posted by M. C. on April 12, 2021

The lies are becoming too obvious.
One in 10,000 on touching an ALREADY CONTAMINATED surface. Why does anyone still take Fauci seriously?

The CDC has quietly added a link on its website to a new study showing that surface transmission of the virus is extremely rare. Even if a person touches a “contaminated” surface the chance of getting infected is only one in ten thousand! So much for the billions of dollars shelled out over the past year on disinfectants and sanitizers. Somebody got rich! Also today; More Fauci word salad and United Airlines dangerous new “wokeism.”

Google Removes Entire State Of Georgia From Google Maps

Posted by M. C. on April 12, 2021

https://babylonbee.com/news/google-removes-entire-state-of-georgia-from-google-maps

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA—Tech giant Google announced today that they are removing the entire state of Georgia from their Google Maps platform, effective immediately. This comes in response to the state’s recent voter law that many are calling racist.

“We cannot allow these racist laws to stand,” said a spokesman from the Google Office of Diversity, Inclusion, Anti-Racism, Climate Change, Immigration Reform, and LGBTQ Affairs. “That’s why we must act quickly to get states like Georgia off the map, both literally and figuratively.”

Starting today, the state of Georgia will be replaced with a blue body of water labeled “Sea of Racism” on all Google Maps platforms. Driving directions given by the site will be altered. For example, directions from South Carolina to Florida via I-95 will state: “continue south through the stupid Sea of Racism without stopping for 112 miles.”

Google will also be updating searches for locations inside the state. A search for directions to Atlanta, GA now returns the following message. “Location not found. Would you like to travel to a Google-approved destination such as Seattle, Minneapolis, or Beijing?”

The spokesman went on to clarify that Google hasn’t completely abandoned the state. “Google will still provide one-way driving directions out of the state for anyone who currently resides in Georgia,” he noted. “Also, we will still provide directions to any out-of-state celebrities or businesses who want to donate money to the Georgia Democratic Party.”

More Terms of Endearment – Taki’s Magazine

Posted by M. C. on April 12, 2021

Larry was the kind of American who made me so pro-American throughout my life. There are no more Americans like him, and that’s why America has gone down the drain.

Taki

It takes a very good writer to produce prose that prompts emotions a reader has experienced in an unconnected past. It also takes a good writer to subtly tip off the reader of the change in the character of the American people, one in which toughness has been replaced by weakness. Talleyrand once remarked that no one who had been born after the French Revolution could know how sweet life could be. Larry McMurtry wrote about life in small American towns in the ’50s, and the great American West in the late 19th century, and his writing evoked feelings that those born after those dates could perceive. Most of his heroes, like those of Hemingway, were ultimately defeated, but theirs were moral victories, just like Papa’s.

Larry was two months older than me and passed away a couple of weeks ago. He told me thirty years ago that he had two subscriptions to The Spectator because he traveled a lot and never wanted to miss my column. I was flattered and said that this was like a hard-charging Rommel praising a tailgating soldier on a bicycle: “What is it with you and the Wehrmacht?” Larry wrote some very nice things about me in one of his three memoirs, and the friendship began at Norman Mailer’s house in Brooklyn some thirty years ago. But first a few tidbits about his work and habits: He wrote thirty novels, essays galore, memoirs, and history. He churned out thirty screenplays, among them Lonesome Dove, based on his 850-page saga of two Texas Rangers who drive a herd of stolen cattle from the Rio Grande to Montana. “Larry was the kind of American who made me so pro-American throughout my life.”

His first novel was Horseman, Pass By, on which the wonderful film Hud was based. He also wrote Terms of Endearment, which became an Oscar-winning film. McMurtry senior was a rancher, and Larry spent his life undoing the myth of the shootin’-tootin’ cowboy as invented by Hollywood and authors like Zane Grey and Louis L’Amour. In his numerous books Larry pitted the values of the Old West against those of the modern world, and words like wellness and well-being did not get a mention. It was values that decided what was true, and the understanding of truth was based on conviction. His world was a taciturn one, stoic and brutal at times. Self-absorption was as unmentionable as cowardice.

His cowboys had real jobs, and there was not one woke impact officer among them. He demythologized the Hollywood version of the American West without using preening bad prose or overloading his books with female genitalic descriptions. He lived most of his life in Archer City, Tex., and at one point he owned six bookstores and 400,000 books. He was involved with five to six women at a time and got married, I believe, three times. When I saw The Last Picture Show, that unromantic but heartbreaking movie based on his novel, I understood America’s innocence, an America that no longer exists.

We met at Norman Mailer’s house in Brooklyn, just the host, Larry, my wife, and I. With a lady present, boxing and women were out, so it was Hemingway. All three of us were big-time Papa fans, and Martha Gellhorn’s revelations that Hemingway’s lovemaking was “short and sharp” did not go over well. I ventured she should have taken one of those Latin gigolos who had nothing better to do in the afternoons. Norman and Larry were not as anti-Martha as I was, but we all agreed that Lillian Hellman, a Papa critic, was the pits. A consummate liar and fantasist, Hellman was an ugly woman who loathed physical beauty in others and envied Papa for his talent, his machismo, his courage—he went out on the balcony during an air raid in Madrid and watched it as if it were fireworks while Hellman cowered and whimpered under a sofa—and of course his popularity with those who admired his traits. According to Norman Mailer, Gellhorn may have been jealous of Papa but exposed Hellman as the “self-serving” braggart that she was. Yet Gellhorn pursued Eleanor Roosevelt, Jackie Onassis, and Hillary Clinton like a bobbysoxer, and was a crabby, irritable, oppositional woman and to the left of Stalin, said I, and Norman fixed me with his pre-fight boxer’s stare, as he was very friendly with the last two. Larry took it all in and then he and I decided to hit the town.

My publisher at Grove Atlantic had given me a key to some club that had a louche reputation, and after we dropped Alexandra home, we checked the place out. It was perfect, full of shady characters and loose women. Both of us were flying when at around five in the morning I spilled the beans about why I had to get home, like, now. I was going under the knife at 8 a.m. at a New York hospital, after having torn my rotator cuff in a skiing accident months before. The doctor cut too deeply, but that’s another story altogether. What I’ll never forget was Larry McMurtry’s look when I apologized and told him why I had to call it a night. It was one of esteem, and I shall always treasure it. Larry was the kind of American who made me so pro-American throughout my life. There are no more Americans like him, and that’s why America has gone down the drain.

Of Two Minds – Is a Cultural Revolution Brewing in America?

Posted by M. C. on April 12, 2021

Cultural revolutions are an expression of disappointment and frustration with corruption and the lack of progress in improving everyday life, frustrations that have no outlet in a regime of self-serving elites who view dissent as treason and/or blasphemy.

https://www.oftwominds.com/blogapr21/US-cultural-rev4-21.html

Charles Hugh Smith

The lesson of China’s Cultural Revolution in my view is that once the lid blows off, everything that was linear (predictable) goes non-linear (unpredictable).

There is a whiff of unease in the air as beneath the cheery veneer of free money for almost everyone, inequality and polarization are rapidly consuming what’s left of common ground in America.

Though there are many systemic differences between China and the U.S., humans in every nation are all still running Wetware 1.0 and so it is instructive to consider what can be learned from China’s Cultural Revolution 1966-1976.

China’s Cultural Revolution was remarkably different from the Party’s military-political victory of 1949. Where the political revolution was managed by the centralized hierarchy of the Communist Party (CCP), the Cultural Revolution quickly morphed from a movement launched by Mao into a decentralized mass movement against all elites, including Party and state elites which had been sacrosanct and untouchable.

The Cultural Revolution is not an approved topic in China today, and that alerts us to its importance.

Although ostensibly launched by Mao (as part of his 1966 purge of Party rivals), the Cultural Revolution very quickly devolved into a decentralized, semi-chaotic movement of Red Guards, students and other groups who shared ideas and programs but who acted quite independent of the Party’s central leadership. (In systems language, semi-chaotic dynamics are emergent properties.)

If you examine Mao’s statements that supposedly launched The Cultural Revolution, you’ll find they’re not much different from his many pronouncements in the 1950s and early 1960s, none of which sparked a violent national upheaval. The Cultural Revolution cannot be traced back to Mao’s control or plans; rather, Mao served as the politically untouchable inspiration for whatever measures the local cadres deemed necessary in terms of advancing (or cleansing) the people’s revolution.

The important point here is that the Cultural Revolution was not controlled by the political authorities, even as they maintained control of the Party and central government hierarchy in Beijing. But this was nothing more than an illusion of control: the forces of the Cultural Revolution had broken free of central command and control, even as the Red Guards expressed their loyalty to Mao and the principles of the Party as the politically approved cover for their rampage.

That’s the irony of Cultural Revolutions: the authorities cannot claim it is a political counter-revolution because the cultural revolutionaries proclaim their loyalty to the ideals and principles the authorities claim to be upholding.

Cultural Revolutions in effect claim the higher ground, eschewing political influence for direct action in the name of furthering the ideals which the authorities have abandoned or betrayed.

Given the fragmentary nature of The Cultural Revolution, the history is equally fragmentary– especially given the official reticence.

A recent academic book, Agents of Disorder: Inside China’s Cultural Revolution, provides granular detail on the fragmented, decentralized, rapidly evolving dynamics of the movement:

“(The author) devoted decades to examining the local records of nearly all of China’s 2,000-plus county-level jurisdictions. He found that factions emerged from the splintering, rather than the congealing, of class-based groups. Small clusters of students, workers, and cadres struggling to respond to Mao’s shifting directives made split-second decisions about whom to align with. Political identities did not shape the conflict; they emerged from it. To explain this process of identity formation, he offers a theory of ‘factions as emergent properties’ and suggests that similar dynamics may characterize social movements everywhere.”

In other words, groups modified their alliances, identities and definitions of “class enemies” on the fly, entirely free of central authorities. Factions splintered, regrouped and splintered again. In the chaos, no one was safe.

Those who lived through The Cultural Revolution are reticent about revealing their experiences. Even in the privacy of their homes in the U.S., their voices become hushed and their reluctance to give voice to their experiences is evident.

The unifying thread in my view is the accused belonged to some “counter-revolutionary” elite –or they were living vestiges of a pre-revolutionary elite (children of the landlord class, professors, etc.)–and it was now open season on all elites, presumed or real.

What generates such spontaneous, self-organizing violence on a national scale? My conclusion is that cultural revolutions result from the suppression of legitimate political expression and the failure of the regime to meet its lofty idealistic goals.

Cultural revolutions are an expression of disappointment and frustration with corruption and the lack of progress in improving everyday life, frustrations that have no outlet in a regime of self-serving elites who view dissent as treason and/or blasphemy.

By 1966, China’s progress since 1949 had been at best uneven, and at worst catastrophic: the Great Leap Forward caused the deaths of millions due to malnutrition and starvation, and other centrally planned programs were equally disastrous for the masses.

Given the quick demise of the Let a Hundred Flowers Bloom movement of open expression, young people realized there was no avenue for dissent within the Party, and no way to express their frustration with the Party’s failure to fulfil its idealistic goals and promises.

When there is no relief valve in the pressure cooker, it’s eventually released in a Cultural Revolution that unleashes all the bottled-up frustrations on elites which are deemed politically vulnerable. These frustrations have no outlet politically because they’re threatening to the status quo.

All these repressed emotions will find some release and expression, and whatever avenues are blocked by authorities will channel the frustrations into whatever is still open.

A Cultural Revolution takes the diversity of individuals and identities and reduces them into an abstraction which gives the masses permission to criticize the abstract class that “deserves” whatever rough justice is being delivered by the Cultural Revolution.

As the book review excerpt noted, the definition of who deserves long overdue justice shifts with the emergent winds, and so those at the head of the Revolution might find themselves identified as an illegitimate elite that must be unseated.

I submit that these conditions exist in the U.S.: the systemic failure of the status quo to deliver on idealized promises and the repression of dissent outside “approved” (i.e. unthreatening to the status quo) boundaries.

What elite can be criticized without drawing the full repressive powers of the central state? What elite will it be politically acceptable to criticize? I submit that “the wealthy” are just such an abstract elite.

To protect itself, a repressive status quo implicitly signals that the masses can release their ire on an abstract elite with indistinct boundaries–a process that will divert the public anger, leaving the Powers That Be still in charge.

But just as in China’s Cultural Revolution, central authorities will quickly lose control of conditions on the ground. They will maintain the illusion of control even as events spiral ever farther from their control. The falcon will no longer hear the falconer.

In other words, once the social pressure cooker valve gives way, then the unleashed forces soon grasp that there are few limits on what they can criticize as long as they do so within an implicitly approved narrative–for example, “the wealthy” hoarded wealth and power and so it is just to claw it back by whatever means are available. Since the government failed to do so, the people will have to do so.

The extreme inequalities of wealth and power that are now the dominant dynamic in America are heating the cultural pressure cooker, and when the pressure can no longer be contained, then being recognized as wealthy will shift very quickly from something desirable to something to avoid at all costs.

The lesson of China’s Cultural Revolution in my view is that once the lid blows off, everything that was linear (predictable) goes non-linear (unpredictable, fragmented, contingent, emergent, prone to extremes, uncontrollable). If America experiences a Cultural Revolution, the outcome won’t lend itself to tidiness or predictability.

To use an analogy from previous blog posts, if the pendulum is pushed to an extreme, when it’s released, it will reach an equivalent extreme (minus a bit of friction) at the opposite end. That could be an unexpected but entirely foreseeable Cultural Revolution.

Those who claim that can’t happen in America are safely outside the pressure cooker, protected by a delusional confidence that since I’m doing great, everyone is doing great. Since real political agency is no longer allowed, then the pressure will find release outside the political system. It’s just Wetware 1.0 running defaults few recognize.

Immolating Parental Rights and Overruling Truth – OffGuardian

Posted by M. C. on April 12, 2021

How the Jailing of a BC Father Shows the Extremes of Transgender Ideology and the Failure of the Media

https://off-guardian.org/2021/04/09/immolating-parental-rights-and-overruling-truth/

Jenn Smith

Abstract: There are important parallels between the 1963 case of the self-immolation of Vietnamese Buddhist monk Thích Quảng Đức and the recent case in British Columbia (2021) of a father who was forced against his will by the court and the state to facilitate the pharmaceutical “sex reassignment” of his teenage daughter. Both cases speak to the desperation of people whose rights were trampled by an invasive all-powerful state and who were ignored by an indifferent and corrupt establishment-beholden media.

A Strange and Distant Memory.

“[Civil Disobedience] seeks to create such a crisis and establish such creative tension that a community that has constantly refused to negotiate is forced to confront the issue. It seeks to so dramatize the issue that it can no longer be ignored.” Martin Luther King Jr.

The story of Thích Quảng Đức and the now infamous photograph taken by Malcolm Browne of his shocking act of self-immolation during the Vietnam War, has fascinated me from the first moment I saw it.

The photo (see below) shows Quảng Đức, a Vietnamese Mahayana Buddhist monk, who lit himself on fire as part of a planned political protest at a busy Saigon road intersection on June 11, 1963. It was truly one of the most visually and emotionally stunning media events of the 20th century. Then-President John F. Kennedy, who would only live another five months himself, said of the photo:

No news picture in history has generated so much emotion around the world.

Unfortunately, the Vietnam War would produce many other startling photographs before it was over.

Photo taken by Associated Press photographer Malcolm Browne, on June 11, 1963, Saigon, South Vietnam.

While many disturbing images came out of the Vietnam War, there was something unique and disturbingly surreal about the Quảng Đức image and what it represented. Unlike few other images in human history, the image of Quảng Đức sitting calmly in the middle of an inferno of his own creation caused much of the world to stop and look. Other now-famous images from that era, almost without exception, portrayed things being done to somebody, in this case it was somebody doing something terrible to himself.

The impact of this photo globally was overwhelming. For a moment people all around the world simultaneously put their hands on their mouths and went silent. What brings a man to do something so horrific to himself and yet with such apparent calm lucidity?

One of the few reporters that bothered to attend the event, David Halberstam of the New York Times, wrote

I was too shocked to cry, too confused to take notes or ask questions, too bewildered to even think … As he burned he never moved a muscle, never uttered a sound, his outward composure in sharp contrast to the wailing people around him.

Why would somebody light themselves on fire for a political cause? What could possibly justify such an extreme act of self-destruction? Who was this person and what motivated him?

In order to understand the case of Thich Quảng Đức and how it relates to the case I am involved with today in British Columbia, you must understand the political landscape upon which it transpired.

Quảng Đức and his fellow monks had been trying desperately for some time to get a corrupt and seemingly indifferent global media to focus on the religious oppression of Buddhists in Vietnam by the Catholic-dominated Diem government. A ban on the flying of religious flags led to a large protest by Buddhists in the city of Huế on May 8, 1963. Some nine thousand people attended the protest which was eventually rocked by an explosion of uncertain origin followed by police and military opening fire on the crowd, killing 9 and wounding many others, including two children who were crushed underneath the wheels of government armored personnel carriers.

Buddhist protestors in South Vietnam in 1963 during the so-called “Buddhist Crisis” that led to the self-immolation of Thích Quảng Đức.

The government blamed the Huế massacre on the Vietcong and the global media either ignored or failed to give the event the attention it deserved. The US ambassador to South Vietnam sided with the Diem government and called government explanations “objective, accurate, and fair,” which was repeated by much of the global media.

The dishonesty and indifference of the media and government became a very pressing and frustrating problem for the Buddhists of Vietnam. The government was now openly slaughtering Buddhist protestors and the media was either ignoring or spinning it in favor of the government.

Indeed, the aforementioned David Halberstam of the New York Times, who would be one of the few journalists to attend the press gathering in Saigon on June 11, had himself subtly implied that the Hue protest might be linked to Communists and that the casualties were caused by an agent provocateur in the crowd rather than government forces.

How could Buddhists get a largely indifferent media to give their situation the attention it deserved? The problem, of course, was solved quite dramatically, but it was not a spontaneous event and only a handful of international reporters were in attendance that day.

The self-immolation of Quảng Đức was part of a strategic plan to force the international media to pay attention. If you look at the photo closely you will see other monks with cameras walking around. This event was carefully staged.

The plan did work, the world media did pay attention, because it was hard to ignore something so dramatic as a man lighting himself on fire in order to protest injustice. Several copycats immolated themselves later that year as well but did not get the same level of attention and in fact led to one official in Vietnam saying that she would…

clap [my] hands at seeing another monk barbecue show.

The flippant attitude was not shared by the rest of the world, and Quảng Đức’s sacrifice ultimately set off a chain of events that led to the end of the Diem government, but one must understand the key to this event was that it forced the global media to pay attention, and that was what caused a shift in public opinion and ultimately helped bring about change.

The story of Thích Quảng Đức returns to me again today because, ironically, a case I have been a part of in British Columbia (BC), Canada, shares some of the same basic features — although not as extreme or visually startling in its outcome as the case of Quảng Đức, the case of a father that has become known by the pseudonym of “Clark Kent” and referred to in court documents under the anonymized initials of “CD”, and who was forced to facilitate the pharmaceutical “sex reassignment” of his daughter against his will and his reaction to that, raises many of the same questions and points to some of the very same motivations and answers.

The Rise of Transgender Ideology and Its Resistance.

“Never has our future been more unpredictable, never have we depended so much on political forces that cannot be trusted to follow the rules of common sense and self-interest – forces that look like sheer insanity, if judged by the standards of other centuries.” Hannah Arendt

On March 20, 2021, my phone rang and I was immediately greeted by a recorded message from a British Columbia (BC) remand correctional facility, essentially a jail that holds prisoners until they can face trial. A disclaimer was read to me that the call would be recorded and subject to review. I had to agree to the terms before the call would be connected. I did so and the voice of a man I had first met in December of 2018 said, “hello, Jenn?”

It was a surreal experience for me because I knew the man well and I knew he was no threat to anybody, and yet here he was calling me from inside a jail. While it had happened sooner than expected, I was in fact not entirely surprised that this tragic situation had finally come to pass, as I had seen it coming for some time. But to understand the travesty and tragedy that has occurred in British Columbia today — which should echo through the corridors of every legislature and courtroom in the world — I will need to take the reader back to the start for a brief summary of how the now-infamous case of AB v CD came to pass and my direct involvement in it.

Brief Background

First, for readers that may not be familiar with this case or myself, I should begin by providing some brief background information, not only on this case but on myself as well and the cause I have been fighting for, as I have been directly involved in this story since before it was in front of any judge, and I indeed wrote the very first story on this case in December of 2018. While I do not want to get too deep into all the complicated details, I believe this to be one of the most important legal and political cases in the world today and as such it deserves some due space and attention.

The case of AB v CD points not only to the most concerning elements of modern transgender ideology and politics, but to the complete failure of both the fourth and fifth estates (the media) in alerting the public to injustice and defending the truth. The act of desperation that ultimately transpired in the case of AB v CD can be shown to have been fueled by the same basic frustrations and forces that drove Thích Quảng Đức to his act of desperation almost six decades ago, but that will be illustrated in due time.

I am a 56-year-old transgender-identified activist. I am male. I present to the world in sometimes androgynous and sometimes feminine ways, but I have never claimed my presentation does or could ever change my sex. While it may be true that at one point I wanted to be a female, I was never able to get to the level of physical reality denial that is necessary to reject one’s biological sex, so I settled for playing the gender role without denying reality or insisting others do so. I am okay with just being male and being transgender, with “transgender” simply referring to a pattern of behavior. I believe this is the only healthy way to express transgender identity, not only for oneself, but for society as well, and the following story will illustrate for you the dangers of doing otherwise. We can play any part we want in this world but for the sake of everybody (including ourselves) we must always remain tethered to truth, particularly when it comes to law and the education of our youth.

I became involved in the political debate regarding transgender issues almost four years ago when I began using my academic background to research and write articles critical of what I call “the transgender agenda,” namely, this shift we have seen in society towards claiming males can be females (and visa versa), and the concerning indoctrination and confusion of our children in that process, not to mention the disturbing totalitarian undertones that seem to be driving it and which I discussed in my widely read essay Synanon, the Brainwashing “Game,” and Modern Transgender Activism.

Being transgender myself, I of course have never opposed the right for adults to dress or express as they like in the world, but I believe there are too many pressures and confusions associated with this behavior for minors to fully process and understand, as such I have always maintained that changing gender is something best reserved for adults. I further believe that particularly the medical or pharmaceutical transitioning (“sex reassignment”) of minors should be illegal because it has permanent life-altering consequences. I regard the mass chemical sterilization of our youth via the use of “gender affirming” drugs as a kind of medical crime, particularly when you understand the demographics of the youths identifying as transgender.

There has been a massive increase in the number of minors identifying as transgender over the last five or six years. This fact on its own is cause for serious concern, but it becomes even more alarming when you begin analyzing just what children are identifying as transgender. According to one study, 52% of “gender dysphoric” youths (minors identifying as the opposite sex) had one or more DSM-listed psychiatric conditions in addition to gender dysphoria. Numerous other studies have made the same basic findings, in other words, these are psychologically troubled youths.

Studies will vary, but researchers testing gender dysphoric youths have reported autism spectrum disorder prevalence at rates ranging from 8% at the low end to a staggering 54.2% at the high end. These numbers however do not become alarming until you realize that the prevalence of autism spectrum disorder in the general population is estimated by the CDC to be 1.7%. For autism rates in transgender youths to average around 30% or even 8% should be shocking to all thinking adults.

No serious person would suggest gender dysphoria causes autism, and the only reasonable answer is that these are psychologically vulnerable children that are falling victim to what is essentially a predatory ideology that turns them into life long pharmaceutical customers. But it gets even worse than this.

I was a foster child in the province of British Columbia (BC) during the 1970s and went through multiple different homes, and I was thus horrified to learn that BC’s leading gender specialist suggested that half of his 1000 minor patients came from the BC Ministry of Child and Family Development, in other words foster children and youths otherwise in the care of the Ministry. While we will not know how those numbers break down with certainty until we can get the subpoenaing power of a National Inquiry which I have been pushing for now for two years, I found this information highly alarming and it has made this subject extraordinarily personal for me.

The ‘Covid’ Plot Will Continue, So How Will Mass Fear Be Reestablished? – LewRockwell

Posted by M. C. on April 12, 2021

The state’s attempts to complete this transition to a global governing technocratic system will necessarily require that much fear be instilled in the populace so that many more in the near future will accept more loss of freedom and they will mass ‘vaccinate,’ which has not occurred to date. This means we will face more threats, more panic, more claimed virus outbreaks, and possibly attacks through the use of targeted bio-weapon releases that will be used to scare more of the herd into submission.

https://www.lewrockwell.com/2021/04/gary-d-barnett/the-covid-plot-will-continue-so-how-will-mass-fear-be-reestablished/

“All government, in its essence, is a conspiracy against the superior man: it’s one permanent object is to oppress him and cripple him… One of its primary functions is to regiment men by force, to make them as much alike as possible and as dependent upon one another as possible, to search out and combat originality among them.”

~ H. L. Mencken, “Prejudices: Third Series (Le Contrat Social)“. Book by H. L. Mencken, 1922.

At this point in time, ‘hope’ seems to be a consuming factor in the minds of many, as more of my correspondence tends to be critical of hearing the truth. Many want to see good news; they desire only positive messages due to small outbreaks of sanity among the herd and a tiring of doom. While this is a normal reaction after 13 months of lockdown hell, it can also be a very dangerous position to take. This conspiracy that has been planned for decades is not going away quickly or quietly, and the end game sought is closer to completion than ever before. With this knowledge, it is not prudent to dismiss reality in favor of the abandonment of truth.

The ‘Covid’ plot will not subside anytime soon, and the controlling few and their government accomplices have a grand agenda that includes taking over the minds and bodies of all humanity, and creating a global governing system that will rely on very centralized technocratic control. In addition, depopulation on a large scale is desired, and in order to achieve that goal, many must be sickened and many must die. While this may seem to be too harsh a reality to fathom, in order to stop this onslaught of tyranny, it is vital to resist and disobey at every level, and it is imperative to continue fighting against our enemy the state until it is made completely impotent.

Part of the country has opened up somewhat, and other parts are still in a state of lockdown, mandatory mask wearing, and curfews. Much of Europe, Canada, Australia, and most of the rest of the western world are even worse, but what is happening there will soon happen here. Travel is very restricted for the most part, and international travel has become almost impossible unless one is willing to face wearing a mask, extreme prejudice, dangerous testing, possible poisonous injection, and costly mandated quarantine in a prison-like setting. No sane person would bow to such pressure and totalitarian threats, or take such undue personal risk in order to simply travel at will.  There has been some pushback, and with the exception of certain areas of this society, deadly injections falsely labeled as a ‘vaccine’ have not yet reached saturation levels, but what will the government’s coming tactics be in order to reestablish mass fear in this already beaten down population?

It seems logical to assume that this tyrannical takeover plot will not simply be scrapped due to some minor pushback. Actually, with only partial resistance evident, the more aggressive the state will become in my opinion. The idea is to gain control over the majority, ‘vaccinate’ them, and then go after all the dissenters and non-vaccinated. If large numbers refuse to adhere to this plot, this would be difficult for the ruling class to overcome, so the tyranny, fear mongering, and new mandates will likely increase throughout this year. The reason for this is that the effort to control society has been one of massive proportion, and it is meant to be the final attempt to achieve complete control of the people and the economy. To get this close and fail would be devastating to those in power, as it would expose this coup for what it really is, even to many of those in this country that have been blinded by apathy and ignorance for so long.

The more that take this Covid injection, the worse things will become, as the deaths due to this poison will be attributed to one or another virus, either the current version or some claimed mutant strain. There has been much talk and media hype lately about mutating variants of what has been mislabeled as Covid-19, so this looks to be a planned attempt to set people up for more lies that will lead to extreme panic later this year.

Expect many reports of more positive tests, more outbreaks, and more death. If those already ‘vaccinated’ begin to die off in large numbers over the next few months or during the next flu season due to the unknown effects of this experimental toxic concoction, that tragedy would be used to promote more ‘vaccination,’ which would of course cause even more death. This vicious cycle would be pleasing to the state, as it would promote more lockdowns, more quarantine, more restrictions, more demands, more small business destruction, more surveillance, more censorship, more immunity passports, and that would lead to more control.

There are many things that the government and its accomplices could do to cause more fear among the people, and that is why it is imperative to trust absolutely nothing from any government source or any mainstream media. Every single thing should be questioned and scrutinized, and ‘Covid’ tests and toxic injections should be avoided at all cost.

e prepared for more tyranny, but do not be surprised at anything this governing system does to reinstate terror into the population. There has been a slight lessening of draconian measures as of late, but many are dying from this toxic pathogen delivery system called a vaccine, and that has temporarily caused a slight stall in dictatorial policy. But all the while, the senile Biden is very busy enacting executive orders, while Congress and state governors are putting forth extreme spending and restrictive legislation, and plotting the next phase of this attack on the people. Gun control orders have been put into place by fiat just this week, and that of course is another step toward disarming this population. The drive toward immunization passports, which are nothing less than ‘papers’ similar to what were mandated in the past in Nazi Germany, Russia, and communist China, among other countries, is accelerating. These dictatorial measures of control are expanding worldwide, and New York is already requiring these ‘papers,’ and has legislation pending that would allow the evil governor and his henchmen to capture and imprison in camps those that would be deemed by the state to be a ‘health threat.’ The immunity passports will eventually be used to restrict all the necessities of life to those not complying, and this will be done to force more vaccination. It is a dastardly plan, but one that is advancing quickly during this seemingly calmer period, so these invasions against all of us cannot be ignored or allowed to go forward.

As politicians are apt to say in every war they aggressively pursue, nothing is off the table, and we will use every weapon possible to stop the enemy, regardless of the consequences. But we are the enemy this time, and the weapons they possess are many. The propaganda will continue and escalate dramatically, and the terror against the people will never stop until we stop it. Expect the unexpected, because this is a serious situation, and those of us unwilling to submit will face a great threat going forward unless our numbers grow exponentially. We can never give up, and we must fight without reservation to protect our precious lives and freedom.

“Every time I hear a political speech or I read those of our leaders, I am horrified at having, for years, heard nothing which sounded human. It is always the same words telling the same lies. And the fact that men accept this, that the people’s anger has not destroyed these hollow clowns, strikes me as proof that men attribute no importance to the way they are governed; that they gamble – yes, gamble – with a whole part of their life and their so called ‘vital interests.”

Candidate list in Erie clerk race may be wrong

A.J. Rao Erie Times-News USA TODAY NETWORK

Around 20,000 mail-in ballots are scheduled to go out for the May 18 primary in Erie County. But depending on the timing and outcome of pending litigation, they all could be replaced.

Here’s the dilemma: The Erie County Board of Elections on Tuesday unanimously certified a primary ballot, knowing that candidates facing legal challenges to their eligibility could be either dropped or added pending a court decision.

Continued from Page 1A

The candidates in question are each running for Erie County clerk of records.

Former state Sen. Anthony “Buzz” Andrezeski was left off the certified ballot but could be added following a decision by state Commonwealth Court. The same goes for Chad Hershey, a Republican seeking the same job. Erie County Councilman Ed DiMattio Jr. remained on the ballot but could be dropped pending the outcome of a Commonwealth Court ruling.

Erie County Councilwoman Mary Rennie, of Erie, who chairs the Election Board, said the primary ballot will be revised upon the court’s decisions.

But time is of the essence.

The board is already sending out mail-in ballots to the military and would like to send out mail-in ballots to the general public by the week of April 19.

If the court makes a late decision, the board might have to create and send out a second “corrected” mail-in ballot, a scenario that could cost time, money and possibly lead to voter confusion.

“That is our concern,” said Doug Smith, Erie County clerk. “For that reason, we’re looking to wait as long as possible before sending out mail-in ballots. But I don’t see how we could go much later (than April 19).”

Smith said roughly 20,000 mail-in ballots will be sent out for the May 18 primary. But with each ballot costing about $1 apiece plus postage, a second round could cost the county an additional $20,000-plus.

Rennie pushed back on the scenario, voicing hope that the court will make its decisions in a timely manner and prevent multiple versions of the ballot from being sent out.

Board officials anticipate a decision by Commonwealth Court by April 16 or April 23, however that is uncertain.

“We have until May 4 to start mailing out ballots,” Rennie said.

Should a late decision occur, she said the board “will have to look at contingencies.”

Voting to certify the primary ballot were Rennie and board member Ellen Schauerman.

For longtime Erie politician Andrezeski, the Election Board’s vote was “illogical, backwards thinking,” and a brazen attempt to violate a court order that placed him and Hershey on the ballot.

“They don’t want to obey the law,” he said.

Andrezeski and Hershey, both Millcreek Township residents, have been in a protracted legal battle with the board over their eligibility; namely, their failure to collect the required 250 signatures on their nominating petitions.

Andrezeski, 78, and Hershey, 43, blamed the pandemic for the shortfall and took their case to court, where they received a favorable ruling from Erie County Judge Daniel Brabender on March 22 — a decision that he upheld a week later.

The Elections Board has since filed an appeal with Commonwealth Court and is awaiting a final decision.

“I have a court order placing Chad Hershey and I on the ballot,” Andrezeski said. “The board doesn’t have an order taking us off the ballot. In my legal opinion, this is wrong.” DiMattio, a Republican, had been on the ballot in the clerk of records race but was later removed by Brabender for filing the wrong financial-disclosure form. DiMattio recently filed an appeal with Commonwealth Court.

The Elections Board agreed to leave DiMattio on the ballot pending the outcome of his appeal since he met all other nomination requirements.

The winner of the clerk of records race will take over the $82,866-a-year job. Ken Gamble, who has been in office since 2015, is not running for reelection and has endorsed Aubrea Hagerty-Haynes, a deputy in the clerk of records office.

Karla Jeffery, a senior criminal records clerk for the county, is also running for the office.

Andrezeski accused the Elections Board of “playing favorites.”

“They’re protecting one of their own, a favorite at the courthouse,” he said. “I look forward to a positive resolution and democracy winning.”
