With “peace activists” like these, who needs warmongers?

Mark Crispin Miller

It seems Medea Benjamin has been too busy seeking peace to do much reading on the subjects that she writes about (as in the piece below).

If she were to look into that “coup attempt” almost a year ago, beyond the shrilling of the media—reading the few journalists who’ve seriously followed up on what went down that day, and watching the many videos taken at the scene—Benjamin would see that that preposterous circus was no “coup attempt,” but a made-for-Twitter psy-op managed by the FBI, to give the media, and combustible “progressives” like herself, seeming grounds to fulminate and stamp their feet about the “threat” posed by Trump’s “fascist” base—a perfect way to deepen the division between “red” and “blue” throughout the USA, thereby further weakening We the People, and to create a “fascist” bogey to obscure the actual totalitarianism coming down on all of us. Like Noam Chomsky (who, once upon a time, knew better, but apparently forgot it all), Benjamin has no idea what a real “coup attempt” entails. She therefore ought to do a little reading on what, say, the CIA did in Iran in 1953, Guatemala the year after, South Vietnam in 1963, Indonesia in 1965, and Chile in 1973—just to name a few—so she can see last year’s state-orchestrated pseudo-“insurrection” for the propaganda fake-out that it obviously was.

Benjamin might also take a moment to reread, or read, the Constitution. Even more disconcerting than her innocence of history (up to a year ago) is her unawareness, or tacit celebration, of what’s happened to 600+ of her fellow-citizens since that “coup attempt,” which the Biden/Harris DoJ used as a pretext to throw them into federal prison on no charges, and keep many of them there, for months, in solitary confinement (which is just as wrong today as when they did it to Nelson Mandela), and subjecting others to frequent beatings and/or medical neglect. All she knows is that she’s glad that “participants in the insurrection [are] being charged,” and that “some [are] facing significant jail time.”

How does she know they’re guilty? Because the government says so? (Or is it the New York Times that’s told her what to think?) How many of those jailed “insurrectionists” were even in the Capitol at all? And what, exactly, are they all “being charged” with? Trespassing? Protesting? Rude behavior in a federal building? And how much “jail time” does this “progressive” deem “significant”?  They’re “facing jail time” of up to 20 years. Will that be “significant” enough to suit Medea Benjamin? Or would she like to see them jailed for life?

Now, what kind of “peace activist” is it who vigorously protests US acts of war against (say) Nicaragua, Cuba, Yemen, Syria, but actually supports the biggest war in human history—a war waged on us all, and one whose toll already has been vastly greater than the toll of all those “little” US wars combined? It is in furtherance of this war that the US government, and “our free press” (both corporate and “alternative”), have wildly demonized all those protesting this biggest-ever waras “far right” subversives, Nazis, “white supremacists” (just as the US government, and much of “our free press,” attacked those protesting the war in Vietnam as “communists” or Kremlin tools). That campaign greatly benefits the globalist cabal conducting this unprecedented war, by (again) dividing We the People—the oldest tactic in the Book of Empire—and normalizing the severe repression of dissent, so as to chill resistance to this bio-fascist order.

Like Chomsky, Amy Goodman, Michael Moore and all her other comrades on what (ever more perversely) calls itself “the left,”  Benjamin is weirdly blind to what is, clearly, World War III. (Outraged by the US blockades on Cuba and Iraq, because they’ve hurt so many Cubans and Iraqis, she’s never said a word about the lockdowns killing millions the world over.) And, like Chomsky and those other “leftist” bio-fascists, Benjamin is so bizarrely blind to this apocalyptic war because she’s swallowed the Big Lie about “the virus”—and the urgent need for those “vaccines” to save us from it—as completely as the German people swallowed the Big Lie about “the Jews” as vermin teeming with bacteria, necessitating their removal from society (then their extermination) so as to keep the German people “safe.”

And that is why Medea Benjamin regards the mass arrest, prolonged detention and excessive punishment of all those “insurrectionists” as the best thing that happened all last year. It’s also why—again, like all her comrades on “the left,” including Jewish Voice for Peace, in which she’s very active—Benjamin wants every Third World people “fully vaccinated,” too, as soon as possible. Thus this “peace activist” apparently supports the forcible injection of those people, who have mostly made quite clear—in India, Australia, Canada, South Africa—that they don’t want it; and so, like Chomsky and the rest, Medea Benjamin is in complete agreement with Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the World Economic Forum (including Henry Kissinger).

God save us all from a “world peace” like that, and from the quisling “left” promoting it, in full collusion with those towering criminals.

The Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity : Anatomy of Coup Attempt in Belarus

Posted by M. C. on September 1, 2020

However, major European powers — Germany, France, Italy — didn’t want to get entangled. Their top leaders telephoned Putin to ease the tensions. The EU initially proposed OSCE as mediator, but Moscow sensed that it might lead to backdoor entry by the US intelligence. The OSCE is manned by NATO powers and is under American thumb.

The Russian President Vladimir Putin disclosed in a TV interview on August 27 that the Americans, amongst others, had fuelled the unrest in Belarus. He explained that the controversial presence of 33 Russian nationals (with military background) in Minsk in the run-up to the presidential election in Belarus on August 8, which briefly created misunderstanding between Minsk and with Moscow, was itself was a joint operation by Ukrainian and US intelligence agencies.

The Russian nationals were apparently given job offers and were “simply lured there (Minsk), dragged across the border … de facto they were brought in on fake documents.” Evidently, Russia is in possession of hard intelligence.

Putin spoke up even as US Deputy Secretary of State Stephen Biegun wrapped up talks with top Russian officials in Moscow Wednesday. According to a VOA report, Biegun’s consultations “marked an intensifying US effort to find a peaceful solution in Belarus.” The report took note that en route to Moscow, Biegun had “signalled that Washington was not eager to accept efforts by [Belarus President Alexander] Lukashenko to cast the election standoff as an East versus West showdown that might trigger direct Russian involvement.”

Simply put, Biegun was on a “damage control” mission. This can be taken as admission of defeat in the US-backed regime change project in Belarus. Conceivably, Russian officials shared with Biegun their intelligence regarding the CIA involvement. Later, crisply anodyne identical readouts were released by the Russian and American sides without divulging any details.

The CIA would roll back its Belarus operation — for the time being, at least. A commentary titled What’s Next for the Peaceful Uprising in Belarus? by the United States Institute of Peace sees “potential to bring change” in Belarus, but concludes saying, “While there are no guarantees of success, there is cause for hope. At a minimum, Belarusians have gained a new-found sense of dignity and belief in the power of nonviolent collective action.”

This appears to have been a well-planned operation. Under the garb of journalists, western intelligence deployed dozens of special agents in Belarus. Lukashenko has ordered their expulsion. Associated Press, Radio Liberty and BBC “reporters” have had their accreditation cancelled. A Swedish “photo journalist”, presumably an intelligence operative, was detained and was released at the personal intervention of the Swedish ambassador to Belarus and flown out of Minsk.

From the pro forma reaction by the European Union so far, Brussels has a fair idea of what really happened — that there has been a US operation with active participation of Poland and Lithuania (both EU countries) and Ukraine. Unsurprisingly, NATO statements have been rather combative. The NATO also began air exercises in Poland and Lithuania coinciding with the unrest in Belarus.

The clincher has been the stern warning by the Kremlin that if the western operation continued, Russia will be left with no option but to intervene. The warning came at Putin’s level, making it very clear that Russia will not countenance a regime change in Minsk to hijack Belarus into the American camp. Moscow has asserted its special interests in Belarus under international law. In his TV interview on Thursday, Putin emphatically stated:

Indeed, the Union Treaty… and the Collective Security Treaty (CSTO) include articles saying that all member states of these organisations, including the Union State, which consists of two states only – Russia and Belarus, are obliged to help each other protect their sovereignty, external borders and stability… In this connection, we have certain obligations towards Belarus, and this is how Mr Lukashenko has formulated his question. He said that he would like us to provide assistance to him if this should become necessary. I replied that Russia would honour all its obligations.

Mr Lukashenko has asked me to create a reserve group of law enforcement personnel, and I have done this. But we have also agreed that this group would not be used unless the situation becomes uncontrollable… we came to the conclusion that now it is not necessary, and I hope that it will never be necessary to use this reserve, which is why we are not using it.

Putin made it abundantly clear that Moscow stands by Lukashenko.

The events in Belarus constitute a watershed moment. Russia will not allow another Ukraine-type colour revolution in the “near abroad”, aimed at encircling it with hostile governments. But Moscow’s intervention, if at all, will conform to international law and stem out of invitation by the country concerned.

That is to say, Russia regards it to be the prerogative of the CSTO countries to handle their internal affairs without outside unlawful interference. Having said that, Moscow has invoked the CSTO’s collective security doctrine. This sets a precedent. The CSTO comprises Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan. A CIA-sponsored regime change project in any of these countries can run into the CSTO’s crosshairs. Considering that the CSTO is de facto led from Moscow, any more regime change project in Central Asia or Caucasus will trigger Russian countermeasures.

Most important, Moscow will not be prescriptive. Putin has supported Lukashenka’s proposal to draft a new constitution and hold fresh presidential and parliamentary elections, but transition should be lawful and orderly. This Russian approach has been already evident in Kyrgyzstan (2005) Turkmenistan (2006), and Uzbekistan (2016). Even in the case of Georgia (2003) and Ukraine (2004 and 2014), Russia didn’t oppose transitions but the West turned them into geopolitical contestations to install anti-Russian regimes.

However, a caveat must be added. Putin also underscored that Belarus is a very special case. He said, in a clear reference to the US, “some forces would like to see something different happening there (Belarus). They would like to influence these processes and to bring about the solutions that would suit their political interests.” Russia cannot afford to see such nefarious designs succeed in Belarus.

In Putin’s words, “This nation is very close to us (Russian Federation) and perhaps is the closest, both in terms of ethnic proximity, the language, the culture, the spiritual as well as other aspects. We have dozens or probably hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of direct family ties with Belarus.” Not only that, Russia sources from Belarus almost 90 percent of its imports of agricultural products.

Confirmed: Obama knew about, and was DIRECTING, the “Spygate” coup attempt against Trump from the very beginning – NaturalNews.com

Posted by M. C. on August 26, 2019

Earlier this week during an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, Andrew McCarthy, attorney and former federal prosecutor who specialized in national security cases, said “counterintelligence operations” which is what Spygate was, at its core, are “done for the president.”

There is a reason it is called the swamp and EVERYONE is in the muck.

Confirmed: Obama knew about, and was DIRECTING, the “Spygate” coup attempt against Trump from the very beginning

(Natural News) For nearly two years as information about the coup attempt against President Donald Trump known as “Spygate” dripped out, observers long suspected that an operation of this scope – involving the Justice Department, the FBI, U.S. and foreign intelligence assets – had to have come from the very top.

That is, former President Obama, who was in the Oval Office when Spygate was hatched and began as the 2016 presidential election cycle kicked off, had to have not only known about it but approved it.

Now, the speculation is over: Of course, he did.

Earlier this week during an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, Andrew McCarthy, attorney and former federal prosecutor who specialized in national security cases, said “counterintelligence operations” which is what Spygate was, at its core, are “done for the president.”

That means, as The Gateway Pundit notes, they are executed specifically to inform the commander-in-chief.

“What I’m saying is not that the president sits there and directs that there be counter-intelligence investigations. What I’m saying is that unlike criminal investigations, counter intelligence investigations are done for the president,” McCarthy said.

“The only reason to do them is for the president with the information he needs to protect the United States from foreign threats. They’re not like criminal investigations in that regard. So, in principle, the information is for the president. And here we know at various junctures we have actual factual information that this investigation was well known to President Obama,” he added.

Hannity asked if the president knew about the investigation from the outset, wouldn’t he have been updated on its progress?

“Sean, if things were working properly the president should have been alerted about it and informed. It was a very important investigation,” McCarthy added.

“If they actually believed what they were telling the court that it was a possibility that Donald Trump was actually a plant of the Kremlin, it would have been derelict on their part not to keep the president informed,” he added. (Related: What did Obama know about Trump collusion hoax and when did he know it? Everything, and from the beginning.)

Assumptions have been confirmed

This isn’t the first crumb of evidence indicating that Obama was in on Spygate from the outset. In fact, previous information indicates that Obama actually orchestrated the coup attempt.

As The National Sentinel reported in May 2018, former Bush White House spokesman Ari Fleischer said during a Fox News interview that there was no way Obama would not have been kept in the loop.

Investigative reporter Paul Sperry tweeted the information: “BREAKING: Bush press secretary Ari Fleischer said “I guarantee the answer is yes” to whether Obama knew Halper & others were deployed to spy on Trump campaign. Fleischer explained that no FBI director would put informants inside a presidential campaign w/o the prez authorizing it.”

Earlier that same week, President Trump pretty much said the same thing – and he should know, since he now occupies the Oval Office.

“Would he know? I would certainly hope not. But I think it’s going to be pretty obvious after awhile,” POTUS teased in response to a question from a reporter.

There’s more.

As The National Sentinel noted further, then-FBI counterintelligence official Peter Strzok, in a text to his lover, then-FBI lawyer Lisa Page, discussed the preparation of talking points for then-FBI Director James Comey to give to President Obama. Page said it was important to do so because “potus wants to know everything we’re doing.”

Also, since the spying against Team Trump was set up as a counterintelligence operation, Obama would have been updated regularly via the President’s Daily Intelligence Brief.

It’s one thing to have assumed that former President Obama was in on the Spygate scandal from the outset. But it’s another to now have had that assumption verified and confirmed.

The question is, will he ever be held accountable for his role?
