I agree with Robert Cogan’s recent Erie Times letter arguing that an attack on Iran is not in our interest. I say it is hardly necessary by anyone. Another ineptly conceived and implemented war and the resulting sky rocketing oil prices won’t do us any good. One can read where the 2007 National Intelligence Estimates and the CIA say Iran stopped any nuclear weapon research 10 years ago. Read the rest of this entry »

if you had any doubts they should have been put to bed by Leon Panetta. He recently declared we are staying in Iraq through 2012. Maliki denied this. Whether the denial is for show or not I don’t know. But I know the War Department is going to continually tell Iraq they want us to stay until they agree. Read the rest of this entry »
