Israel maintains robust arms trade with rogue regimes | News | Al Jazeera

Posted by M. C. on October 24, 2017

Where did Israel learn that from? Who is really paying for it?

http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2017/10/israel-maintains-robust-arms-trade-rogue-regimes-171022100816302.html

Human rights activists are stepping up efforts to expose Israel’s long and covert history of supplying weapons and military training to regimes while they actively commit massacres, ethnic cleansing and genocide.

The issue of Israel’s trade with rogue regimes has been thrust into the spotlight again after revelations that it is sending weapons to Myanmar, in defiance of a US and European arms embargo. Read the rest of this entry »

Iran Must Be Destroyed – LewRockwell

Posted by M. C. on October 14, 2017

I don’t know about you but I am sick of Washington being Israel’s willing sock puppet.

https://www.lewrockwell.com/2017/10/eric-margolis/iran-must-be-destroyed/

President Donald Trump has put the United States on the course for war with Iran.

The US vociferous ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, is almost a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Las Vegas gambling mogul and uber Zionist billionaire, Sheldon Adelson – who is also a key financial backer of Trump and Netanyahu.

There won’t be much doubt about how Congress handles this hot potato.  The leading senators and congressmen who will deal with the issue, like Bob Corker, Tom Cotton, and Marco Rubio, are all firmly in the pocket of pro-Israel lobbies.

In fact, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appears to have more influence on Capitol Hill than President Trump. He used to show it off by humiliating former president Barack Obama.

Israel has just scored a major triumph by using Trump to sabotage the Iran nuclear pact.  Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has long been adamant in insisting that the pact be scrapped.  Having pushed the US to destroy its old foes, Iraq and Syria, Israel now has its big guns trained on Iran, the last regional power that can challenge Israel’s domination of the Mideast.  Iran, we should remember, is also the only important Mideast power backing the Palestinians and calling for a Palestinian state.

Laughing on the Way to Armageddon — Paul Craig Roberts – PaulCraigRoberts.org

Posted by M. C. on September 11, 2017

“It is difficult to talk to people who confuse Austria and Australia.”

http://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2017/09/08/laughing-way-armageddon-paul-craig-roberts/

The United States shows the world such a ridiculous face that the world laughs at us.

The latest spin on “Russia stole the election” is that Russia used Facebook to influence the election. The NPR women yesterday were breathless about it.

We have been subjected to ten months of propaganda about Trump/Putin election interference and still not a scrap of evidence. It is past time to ask an unasked question: If there were evidence, what is the big deal? All sorts of interest groups try to influence election outcomes including foreign governments. Why is it OK for Israel to influence US elections but not for Russia to do so? Why do you think the armament industry, the energy industry, agribusiness, Wall Street and the banks, pharmaceutical companies, etc., etc., supply the huge sum of money to finance election campaigns if their intent is not to influence the election? Why do editorial boards write editorials endorsing one candidate and damning another if they are not influencing the election? Read the rest of this entry »

The USS Liberty Wins One! – The Unz Review

Posted by M. C. on September 8, 2017

The American Legion finally calls for a congressional inquiry

Most Americans are completely unaware that a United States naval vessel was once deliberately targeted and nearly sunk by America’s “greatest friend and ally” Israel. The attack was followed by a comprehensive cover-up that demonstrated clearly that at least one president of the United States even back nearly fifty years ago valued his relationship with the state of Israel above his loyalty to his own country. Nearly 50 Senators Want To Make It a Felony To Boycott Israel

Posted by M. C. on August 5, 2017

http://original.antiwar.com/Aniqa_Raihan/2017/08/04/nearly-50-senators-want-make-felony-boycott-israel/

The goal is to frighten people from engaging in the completely legal act of living out their values

That should have been the end of it. But now, Americans’ right to boycott is under attack once again – thanks to a vicious anti-boycott bill making its way through the Senate.

In particular, it appears to target the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement. BDS is an international movement calling on individuals, institutions, and governments to boycott Israeli products until it ends its occupation of Palestinian lands. The boycott is explicitly nonviolent and is supported by activists, celebrities, faith-based groups, and political and social justice organizations around the world. Read the rest of this entry »

JFK at 100 – LewRockwell

Posted by M. C. on May 28, 2017

https://lewrockwell.com/2017/05/paul-craig-roberts/jfk-at-100/

Kennedy entered office as a cold warrior, but he learned from his interaction with the CIA and Joint Chiefs that the military/security complex had an agenda that was self-interested and a danger to humanity. He began working to defuse tensions with the Soviet Union. His rejections of plans to invade Cuba, of the Northwoods project, of a preemptive nuclear attack on the Soviet Union, and his intention to withdraw from Vietnam after his reelection, together with some of his speeches signaling a new approach to foreign policy in the nuclear age (see for example here), convinced the military/security complex that he was a threat to their interests. Foreign Country Interferes in US Politics – LewRockwell

Posted by M. C. on May 27, 2017

https://lewrockwell.com/2017/05/no_author/foreign-country-interferes-us-elections/

Those congressional actions instead illustrated the power of the pro-Israel Lobby, a highly organized and well-funded coalition that works to give Israeli leaders freedom to operate with unquestioned U.S. diplomatic, economic and military support. Its influence helps account for the quarter trillion dollars in aid (adjusted for inflation) that the United States has given Israel since 1948. Read the rest of this entry »

Not Remembering the USS Liberty – Consortiumnews

Posted by M. C. on May 24, 2017

https://consortiumnews.com/2017/05/21/not-remembering-the-uss-liberty/

It is safe to assume that when President Donald Trump lands in Israel Monday, he will not have been briefed on the irrefutable evidence that, nearly 50 years ago – on June 8, 1967 – Israel deliberately attacked the USS Liberty in international waters, killing 34 U.S. sailors and wounding more than 170 other crew. All of Trump’s predecessors – Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama – have refused to address the ugly reality and/or covered up the attack on the Liberty.

What do a few dead soldiers matter among friends?  Another ‘what does it matter now’ moment. Read the rest of this entry »

TGIF: The Real Danger from Trump Is Ignored | The Libertarian Institute

Posted by M. C. on May 21, 2017

https://www.libertarianinstitute.org/articles/sheldon/tgif-real-danger-trump-ignored/

a story with far more ominous implications is being ignored. I refer to Trump’s trip, beginning today, to Saudi Arabia and Israel.

The two most destabilizing countries in the Middle East are Saudi Arabia and Israel.

Once you grasp that concept you have a good start on figuring out who is the third most destabilizing country. Read the rest of this entry »
