The Brexit Desperation Rises as the Betrayal Deepens – Gold Goats ‘n Guns

Posted by M. C. on April 4, 2019

https://tomluongo.me/2019/04/02/brexit-desperation-betrayal-deepens/

British parliament is now worse than a joke. And they have no one to blame but themselves.

As I watch the desperation of these people, obviously loyal to the European Union first and their constituents a distant fourth or fifth — after themselves, their party and any corporate lobbyists — it’s clear they don’t have any clue as to how to get out of the mess they’ve made for themselves.

Yesterday the British parliament again took over the business from the government and again was incapable of providing any direction to that government as to what kind or type of Brexit would be acceptable.

Mike Shedlock has a good run-down of the votes themselves if you are interested in what terminal virtue-signaling looks like. Mike thinks:

There will likely be one more round of “indicative votes” and also likely May’s Deal vs No Deal or the result of the indicative vote.
There are options left. Theresa May will try to steer this to the vote she wanted all along: My Deal or No Deal.
If she can achieve that, I suspect it will pass but it is by no means certain.

I agree with the first point but the real challenge is neither of the options he lays out, there’s a bigger problem as of today. It is the latest betrayal of Brexit by Oliver Letwin and Yvette Cooper who will try and ram through a long-extension bill on Wednesday to put off Brexit for an indefinite period of time…

Politicians are a feckless and cowardly lot. They exist only to get re-elected and retain the perks of the office.

This is especially true in Britain as so many of them are incapable of holding, in Nigel Farage’s words, “a proper job” where they provide something of value in exchange for their time.

They are only good at one thing: being members of parliament, conniving for their own advantage…

The EU wants the deal they dictated to Theresa May. She can’t deliver that. Now both will conspire to destroy both parties and betray Brexit.

In America, bipartisanship is just a euphemism for the two parties coming together to screw the people. That’s how we get everything bad in the U.S. The same thing will happen here over Brexit.

Corbyn and May will lock horns and we’ll find out who is made of what. You know I think Theresa May is made of Gypsum, so all Corbyn has to do is access what’s left of his testosterone after a lifetime of selling it out to Marxism and Brexit will be over…

Be seeing you

Delingpole: Never Mind ‘Green GB Week’, Theresa. Where Is Our Brexit?

Posted by M. C. on October 16, 2018

The last thing Theresa May wants is to follow through on Brexit.  She wants the UK to take their orders from Brussels. It means even less thinking than she is already doing.

NHS doctors providing old people with cooking and dance lessons. We all know how smoothly the NHS is working and has a lot of time and money to spare.

Creating hate crime laws is just a way for politicians who don’t know how to solve anything look like they are doing something.

No wonder the UK is in the state it is in. The prognosis gets dimmer.

Here are some of the bold, exciting initiatives Theresa May’s government has proposed recently in order to stave off the threat of Jeremy Corbyn and his raging Communists:

  • NHS doctors to provide old people with free cookery lessons/dance classes to stop them feeling lonely.
  • Calling the elderly rude names to be made a “hate crime”.
  • “Austerity” to be ended by hiking the tax bills of the “rich”.

But my favourite so far has got to be the one launched yesterday by Greg Clark, Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. It’s called Green GB Week.

To get an idea what an amazing job it has done to revitalise the Conservative base, here are some of the comments below a piece Clark published in the former shires Tory journal the Daily Telegraph, headlined “It’s time to reap the benefits of a low carbon economy”. Read the rest of this entry »

A U.K. Politician Is Finally Telling the Truth About Terrorism

Posted by M. C. on June 1, 2017

Written by

(ANTIMEDIA) Considering decades of U.S.-U.K.-led wars of aggression in the Middle East — coupled with the arming and funding of jihadists as well as the arming and funding of the prime sponsors of these jihadist groups — has done nothing to make the world safer, it should be no surprise that a politician who advances a different anti-terrorism strategy altogether has been warmly welcomed by a disenfranchised public.

In fact, Donald Trump made it into the White House on an anti-interventionist platform, declaring that the world would have been better off had the U.S. not overthrown Libya’s Muammar Gaddafi and Iraq’s Saddam Hussein. Unfortunately for his support base, Trump abandoned this anti-interventionist sentiment upon taking office.

In the U.K., which recently suffered a devastating ISIS-inspired terrorist attack that killed over 22 people and injured dozens more, there is one politician who is prepared to turn the tide on this incessant militarism and unnecessary suffering. As the Independent explains, Labour party leader Jeremy Corbyn “has the best long-term plan for tackling terrorism on British soil.”

The Independent states:

Trudeau, Papoulia, Corbyn, Sanders The World Is Going Socialist

Posted by M. C. on November 2, 2015

I have noticed the current tendency of western countries to go socialist. Canada is the latest, electing Trudeau the younger. He is losing no time following in the old man’s footsteps promising money for everything under the sun.

Greece’s president Karolos Papoulia, elected while Greece was in the middle of impending default, promised the people everything. Then when the EU made a fuss he was forced backed off or as much as a dedicated socialist is able.

The UK Labor party has elected a far left socialist, Jeremy Corbyn as it’s leader. Read the rest of this entry »
