London has fallen: May & Khan fiddle while crime destroys capital — RT Op-ed

Posted by M. C. on July 17, 2019

It represents the failure of mainstream society to assimilate young men from marginalized and dispossessed communities. And in response to being rejected by mainstream society, these young men have in turn rejected mainstream society, along with its values, morals, social mores and laws

What the progressive author fails to point out is what groups make up a fair proportion of the criminal element.

And that these groups do not want to assimilate in English society but to make English society in their own image.

John Wight

As Theresa May prepares to vacate Downing Street, Britain has never appeared so broken, fragmented and rudderless.

In London, long held up as one of the world’s major capital cities – a beacon of multiculturalism, dynamism, enterprise and opportunity – death stalks the streets and alleys of its vast sprawling housing estates. Gang warfare has grown to the point where the lives of its combatants, in the main teenage boys and youths, have been reduced to the deadly scenario of kill or be killed. Meanwhile, the conclusion that the Metropolitan Police has lost control of the streets is now impossible to avoid. According to the Met’s own statistics, we learn that between January and June this year there have been

  • 125,190 thefts
  • 108,084 assaults and violent attacks
  • 9,998 sexual offenses
  • 24,918 public order offenses
  • 21,906 drug offenses
  • 40,409 burglaries

As for the number of homicides committed in the same six-month period, this stands at 67, with a significant proportion of those slain in the gang war mentioned above, victims of an orgy of knife crime that shows no sign of abating…

Though Sadiq Khan has to take his share of responsibility for the catastrophic collapse in law and order in London (he is the mayor after all), the bulk of the responsibility lies at the door of 10 years of Tory austerity – austerity being the nice word applied to what has and continues to be a vast experiment in human despair.

And within a Tory party hierarchy made up of very expensively educated and wealthy extremists, outgoing Prime Minister Theresa May has the most blood on her hands. Still, today she has the temerity to deny the link between the radical cuts to the police that she introduced while home secretary, to the point that there are now 20,000 fewer frontline police officers in England and Wales than there were in 2010, and London’s knife crime epidemic…

Gang culture in any city or country is an inversion of mainstream culture. It represents the failure of mainstream society to assimilate young men from marginalized and dispossessed communities. And in response to being rejected by mainstream society, these young men have in turn rejected mainstream society, along with its values, morals, social mores and laws…

Farage & Gabbard – Lions of the Great Realignment – Gold Goats ‘n Guns

Posted by M. C. on May 17, 2019

https://tomluongo.me/2019/05/15/__trashed-3/

There is a realignment coming in electoral politics. It began with Ron Paul in 2008 and has been building for more than a decade. We know this story well.

That realignment will be about restoring not just national sovereignty but also personal autonomy in a world the rulers of which are desperate to clamp down their control over.

The thing is I don’t think we’ve quite come to terms with the rapidity with which change comes. It builds slowly, simmering below the surface and then one day just explodes into a maelstrom of chaos.

This is where things stand in Britain with the betrayal of Brexit. It is also where things stand with Trump’s daily betrayal of his pledge to end the needless wars and regime change operations.

Tulsi Gabbard will collect a lot of voters sick to death of our foreign policy destroying the lives of millions, draining our spirit and emptying our pockets.

You can see it happening, slowly… and then all at once.

The signs of the chaos as we approach next week’s European Parliamentary elections were there if we were willing to look closely. More often than not, our being distracted or, worse, our normalcy bias keeps us ignorant of what’s happening…

Which brings me back to politics. As long as the political class maintains 1) the illusion of choice as to who are leaders are and 2) keep things running smoothly a small minority of us will complain, simmer and stew but we won’t be able to convince anyone else it’s worth upsetting the status quo.

We’ll stay below critical mass, until we don’t. And the important point here is that, like my goats, they can can act and vote perfectly normally one day and then in open revolt the next and you have a very small window of time to make the right decisions to save the situation.

The original Brexit vote was that opportunity for the power elite to get it through their thick skulls that Britons didn’t want to go where the EU was headed.

Theresa May, Dominic Grieve and the rest of those in the Westminster bubble refused to accept that they no longer had control over the situation. Theresa May like an autistic monkey keeps putting forth vote after vote to get her Withdrawal Treaty past a parliament that has no business still presiding over the country…

Trump is compromised because of his vanity and his weakness. There is not much hope going into 2020 unless Tulsi Gabbard catches fire soon and begins taking out contenders one by one.

More likely she is, like Ron Paul, setting the table for 2024 and a post-Trump world. I fear however it will be far too late for the U.S. by then. Both she and Farage, along with Salvini and many others across Europe, represent the push towards authenticity that will change the political landscape across the west for decades to come.

And that is what the great realignment I see happening is.

It isn’t about party or even principles. It is about coming together to fix the broken political system first and then working on solutions to specific problems later.

Here’s hoping Trump doesn’t destroy the world by mistake first.

Assange Arrested, Brexit Squashed – Just Another Day in the Empire – Gold Goats ‘n Guns

Posted by M. C. on April 16, 2019

https://tomluongo.me/2019/04/12/assange-arrested-brexit-squashed-just-another-day-in-the-empire/

And down goes Julian Assange, right beside Brexit. If there was ever any doubt that The Powers That Be are unrelenting in their cruelty just look at the 24 hours starting on Wednesday.

First Theresa “The Snake Oil Lady” May kicks 17.4 million voters into the weeds.

And then she oversees the arrest and judging of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange.

The timing of this is important beyond dovetailing it with her Brexit betrayal. They had to go after Assange now, because Theresa May’s time in office is ending.

A Jeremy Corbyn-led government would not grant the U.S. it’s prize.

Corbyn, for all of his faults, would be a breath of fresh air in the unraveling of the ‘special relationship’ between the U.S. and U.K. in foreign policy for as long as he lasted in office.

Still think Theresa works for anyone other than her owners?…

But nothing surprises me about the evil of Theresa May anymore. Read the rest of this entry »

UK to unleash internet safety czar on Google, Facebook, Twitter

Posted by M. C. on April 8, 2019

This is the Department of Culture speaking…Comrade

Government approved free speech.

The UK government is taking a hard line when it comes to online safety, moving to establish what it says is the world’s first independent regulator to keep social media companies in check.

Companies that fail to live up to requirements will face huge fines, and senior directors who are proven to have been negligent will be held personally liable. They may also find access to their sites blocked.

The new measures, designed to make the internet a safer place, were announced jointly by the Home Office and Department of Culture, Media and Sport. The introduction of the regulator is the central recommendation of a highly anticipated government white paper, titled Online Harms, published early Monday in the UK.

The regulator will be tasked with ensuring social media companies are tackling a range of online problems, including:

  • Inciting violence and spreading violent content (including terrorist content)
  • Encouraging self-harm or suicide
  • The spread of disinformation and fake news
  • Cyberbullying
  • Children accessing inappropriate material
  • Child exploitation and abuse content

As well as applying to the major social networks, such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter, the requirements will also have to be met by file-hosting sites, online forums, messaging services and search engines.

“For too long these companies have not done enough to protect users, especially children and young people, from harmful content,” said Prime Minister Theresa May in a statement. “We have listened to campaigners and parents, and are putting a legal duty of care on internet companies to keep people safe.”…

The Brexit Desperation Rises as the Betrayal Deepens – Gold Goats ‘n Guns

Posted by M. C. on April 4, 2019

https://tomluongo.me/2019/04/02/brexit-desperation-betrayal-deepens/

British parliament is now worse than a joke. And they have no one to blame but themselves.

As I watch the desperation of these people, obviously loyal to the European Union first and their constituents a distant fourth or fifth — after themselves, their party and any corporate lobbyists — it’s clear they don’t have any clue as to how to get out of the mess they’ve made for themselves.

Yesterday the British parliament again took over the business from the government and again was incapable of providing any direction to that government as to what kind or type of Brexit would be acceptable.

Mike Shedlock has a good run-down of the votes themselves if you are interested in what terminal virtue-signaling looks like. Mike thinks:

There will likely be one more round of “indicative votes” and also likely May’s Deal vs No Deal or the result of the indicative vote.
There are options left. Theresa May will try to steer this to the vote she wanted all along: My Deal or No Deal.
If she can achieve that, I suspect it will pass but it is by no means certain.

I agree with the first point but the real challenge is neither of the options he lays out, there’s a bigger problem as of today. It is the latest betrayal of Brexit by Oliver Letwin and Yvette Cooper who will try and ram through a long-extension bill on Wednesday to put off Brexit for an indefinite period of time…

Politicians are a feckless and cowardly lot. They exist only to get re-elected and retain the perks of the office.

This is especially true in Britain as so many of them are incapable of holding, in Nigel Farage’s words, “a proper job” where they provide something of value in exchange for their time.

They are only good at one thing: being members of parliament, conniving for their own advantage…

The EU wants the deal they dictated to Theresa May. She can’t deliver that. Now both will conspire to destroy both parties and betray Brexit.

In America, bipartisanship is just a euphemism for the two parties coming together to screw the people. That’s how we get everything bad in the U.S. The same thing will happen here over Brexit.

Corbyn and May will lock horns and we’ll find out who is made of what. You know I think Theresa May is made of Gypsum, so all Corbyn has to do is access what’s left of his testosterone after a lifetime of selling it out to Marxism and Brexit will be over…

TIME’S UP, THERESA Theresa May has shown courage — but to seal her deal and deliver Brexit, she needs to resign

Posted by M. C. on March 25, 2019

..and show she is not just another craven politician determined to cling to power…

But that is just what she is. It has been obvious to anyone paying attention she is Anti-Brexit. Her Brexit plan is drag this out until no one remembers nor cares anymore.

https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/8710473/theresa-may-resign-brexit-deal/

THERESA May must announce today that she will stand down as soon as her Brexit deal is approved and Britain is out of the EU.

The Sun says this with regret, having supported her since before she became Prime Minister. But she has lost the backing of much of the country and now her party.

Her deal has only one, slim chance of achieving a majority in the Commons.

That is if she pledges immediately to resign and set in motion the election of her successor as Tory leader and PM after we leave the EU on the new deadline of May 22.

If she does so, Tory Brexiteers and the DUP must back the deal. Because if it fails again this week we are heading for a much softer Brexit — or none.

That will be a catastrophe for the country, the Tories and Parliament.

Mrs May deserves huge credit. She is a dedicated public servant with an unshakeable sense of duty, who in 2016 took on the greatest challenge of any PM since World War Two.

DEFENDED DEMOCRACY

She has stuck to it through thick and thin, showing remarkable resilience in the face of repeated humiliations, rebellions and a relentless barrage of vitriol from almost all-comers.

Unlike so many she has determinedly respected the will of the Leave majority. The very concept of democracy has been degraded in many other countries, yet she has resolutely defended ours.

She must now take the next principled step — and show she is not just another craven politician determined to cling to power…

Boris: May’s Deal Does Not Deliver Brexit, ‘We Simply Become Non-Voting Members’ of EU

Posted by M. C. on March 18, 2019

Traitor

May will put off Brexit as long as possible. Life is easy (and likely profitable) when Brussels tells you how to run your country.

They may as well have Prince Charles running the Brexit show.

This looks like one of those “we won’t know what’s in the bill until we pass it” deals.

https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2019/03/18/boris-likely-vote-against-mays-brexit-deal-again/

by Jack Montgomery

Backbench heavyweight Boris Johnson has all but confirmed he will vote against Theresa May’s proposed Withdrawal Agreement again if she puts it to MPs for a third time — with ministers signalling she may abandon “Meaningful Vote 3” if it looks certain she cannot win it.

Writing in the Telegraph newspaper, the Brexiteer and perennial leadership contender said he had asked his constituency association if he should back Mrs May’s deal — which he has previously complained would reduce Britain to the status of an EU “colony” or “vassal state” — in order to make sure Brexit gets over the line in some form, rather than risk a Remain Parliament delaying it at length or cancelling it altogether.

He reported that local members were in “near unanimity” in agreeing that he should not compromise, however, because they understand that “if Parliament agrees this deal, we do not, in fact, properly leave the EU on March 29th.”

“We simply become non-voting members… we do not then take back control of our laws. We do not take back control of our trade policy. Even our immigration policy will be in flux,” he explained.

“Every single important issue is still up for negotiation; and whether by accident or design, the UK will enter the second phase of the talks – if this deal goes through – in a position of almost unbearable weakness.

“We will have handed over huge sums of taxpayers’ money (far more than was necessary) for nothing in return.”

It is true that Mrs May’s deal does not settle a new relationship with the EU, but merely purchases a “transition” period in which Britain would for all practical purposes remain a full member of the bloc, minus its voting rights — with the contentious “backstop” to come into force at the end of it if an alternative cannot be agreed, and the British government powerless to end it unilaterally…

WHAT A BREXS*ITSHOW Theresa May’s Brexit deal crushed by MPs AGAIN meaning we’re no nearer to quitting EU after 993 days

Posted by M. C. on March 13, 2019

Chaos has been the natural state of the UK for a long while.

The last thing May wants is Brexit. What May is selling is a Brexit plan that effectively keeps the UK in the hands of Brussels with the help of EU loving Angela Merkel.

Fake Brexit. This is such a mess, I think the UK will end up worse than when they started.

Why would any population clamor to be ruled by a far off bunch of banksters, thieves and bureaucrats?

Keep the banksters, thieves and bureaucrats domestic like we do in the US.

https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/brexit/8615679/brexit-deal-vote-latest-theresa-may-fails-majority/

BRITAIN was last night plunged into chaos once again as MPs voted to kill off Theresa May’s Brexit deal by 391 votes to 242.

Now 993 days after the referendum, and with just 17 days before Brexit, Brits are still in the dark about when or if we will ever leave the EU.

Furious MPs blasted the uncertainty – saying the “wretched soap opera of Brexit continues” as the country heads “back to square one”.

And Cabinet ministers were summoned for a crisis meeting at No10 to work out how to move forward.

Parliament has repeatedly voted against Mrs May’s strategy for leaving the EU on March 29 – last night the Commons laughed and cheered after the the fresh chaos was confirmed.

But without a clear alternative on the table, the latest defeat opens the door to a range of wildly different outcomes – from a cliff-edge No Deal to a second referendum which could cancel Brexit entirely.

Tonight MPs will vote on whether Britain should quit the EU without a deal in 17 days’ time.

But they are expected to oppose the idea – and will instead back a delay to Brexit in a further vote likely to take place on Thursday…

Delingpole: Bombshell Claim — May’s Secret Brexit Betrayal Pact with Merkel

Posted by M. C. on March 7, 2019

If true, remember you read it here. If false…you saw what, where?

https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2019/03/06/claim-mays-secret-brexit-betrayal-pact-with-merkel/

by James Delingpole

British Prime Minister Theresa May has no intention of delivering meaningful Brexit; her June 2018 Withdrawal Agreement was drafted secretly in collusion with German Chancellor Angela Merkel with a view to keeping as many European Union (EU) laws and institutions as possible; May’s and Merkel’s ultimate game plan is for Britain to re-join the EU in full some time after the next general election…

These are the allegations of an extraordinary memo currently being circulated feverishly on social media.

To me, it smacks of a conspiracy theory to rank with those stories about the clandestine Establishment plot to murder Princess Diana.

But the fact that people seem ready to believe it speaks volumes about the state of distrust between May’s Remainer political establishment and the Brexit voting electorate. May and her Civil Servants have handled Brexit so very, very badly that for some Brexiteers the only plausible explanation is not cock-up but outright treachery.

The memo was originally published, briefly, at the website of the Eurosceptic Bruges Group. Then quickly taken down.

Now AltNews Media has re-published it here with a disclaimer that it cannot vouch for the memo’s accuracy.

It claims: Read the rest of this entry »

Angela Merkel rejects UK Brexit proposal

Posted by M. C. on December 10, 2018

Of course Angela rejects the Brexit deal. Germany has wanted to be, and is now, the defacto ruler of Europe.

It just happened in a way that wasn’t expected. She doesn’t the UK to screw things up.

Brussels has it’s hands full keeping Belgium together.

https://www.dw.com/en/angela-merkel-rejects-uk-brexit-proposal/a-45627800

Angela Merkel has said the UK cannot pick and choose which parts of the single market it wants to keep after Brexit. The chancellor insisted that Germany would stand up against any attempts to hollow out global trade.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Tuesday dismissed hopes in Westminster that after Brexit the UK could continue have access to the EU single market for goods only.

Merkel nevertheless remained confident that the UK and EU would manage to reach a deal by October.

What’s Merkel stance on Brexit?

Addressing business leaders at a Federation of German Industries (BDI) conference in Berlin, the German chancellor said:

  • The UK could not remain a part of the single market for goods, but not for capital or services, as UK Prime Minister Theresa May’s Brexit plan suggests.
  • Based on the UK’s vision of a future relationship with the EU, it would likely be based on a “very, very intensive free trade area.”
  • Any future deal should be as detailed as possible, otherwise the Brexit transition period until the end of 2020 would be too short a time frame to draw up a comprehensive agreement.
  • Europe’s economies are suffering on the back of Brexit uncertainty. “Businesses need clarity,” which was why the EU has some its “hardest days” ahead.
