CNN’s Philip Mudd Blows Up at Paris Dennard for Telling Truth About ‘Profitable’ Security Clearances

Posted by M. C. on August 20, 2018

When Dennard persisted, saying, “If you have a security clearance and you keep it, you get more money to have it,” Mudd lost his temper: “We’re done. We’re done. Get out!”

https://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2018/08/19/cnns-philip-mudd-tells-paris-dennard-to-get-out-for-telling-the-truth/

by Joel B. Pollok

CNN counterterrorism analyst Philip Mudd exploded at conservative CNN contributor Paris Dennard on Friday evening when Dennard made the completely factual claim that former government officials with security clearance can land top D.C. jobs…

Dennard pushed back against the claim that revoking Brennan’s clearance was an attempt to stifle freedom of speech, and added:

A lot of these people that have these security clearances, and this is the secret in the swampy Washington, D.C., they have them and they keep them because it’s profitable for them after they leave government, because if you a security clearance, especially high level security clearance, your contracts and consulting gig pay you a lot more money because of the access that you have. I hope the president continues to do this, and I hope he adds Omarosa to the list, because if she has a clearance, she too because of her actions should have it revoked.

Clapper: Brennan’s rhetoric is becoming an issue

Posted by M. C. on August 20, 2018

..is genuine concern about the jeopardy and threats to our institutions,” Clapper said.

Bingo! Clapper never said Brennan was wrong.

Brennan’s problem, besides lacking subtlety, is he is undermining the deep state campaign against Trump.

It tells you something about the system when the lowest form of lying scum can be CIA director.

http://thehill.com/homenews/sunday-talk-shows/402521-clapper-brennans-rhetoric-is-becoming-an-issue-in-and-of-itself

BY MEGAN KELLER

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said Sunday that he thinks former CIA Director John Brennan‘s rhetoric is becoming an issue “in and of itself.”

“John and his rhetoric have become an issue in and of itself,” Clapper said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “John is subtle like a freight train and he’s gonna say what’s on his mind.”

Clapper’s comments came in response to an op-ed penned by Brennan in The New York Times this week, in which he wrote that President Trumpcolluded with Russia during the 2016 election.  Read the rest of this entry »

Can America Ever Come Together Again? – LewRockwell

Posted by M. C. on August 20, 2018

The people who cheer Trump believe the country they inherited from their fathers was a great, good and glorious country, and that the media who detest Trump also despise them.

For such as these, Trump cannot scourge the media often enough.

Can America Ever Come Together Again?

By

If ex-CIA Director John Brennan did to Andrew Jackson what he did to Donald Trump, he would have lost a lot more than his security clearance.

He would have been challenged to a duel and shot.

“Trump’s … performance in Helsinki,” Brennan had said, “exceeds the threshold of ‘high crimes & misdemeanors.’ It was … treasonous.”…

CIA directors retain clearances because they are seen as national assets, individuals whose unique experience, knowledge and judgment may be called upon to assist a president in a national crisis.

Not so long ago, this was a bipartisan tradition.

Who trashed this tradition? Read the rest of this entry »

The Case for Stripping Former Officials of their Security Clearances – Consortiumnews

Posted by M. C. on July 27, 2018

John was hard to get along with. His superiors generally didn’t like him. He was once fired from a job at the CIA. He’s not particularly bright. And then he found a patron in former CIA director George Tenet, who saved his career.

The Case for Stripping Former Officials of their Security Clearances

By John Kiriakou

Libertarian senator Rand Paul, a Kentucky Republican, said on Monday that in a personal meeting with President Donald Trump, he urged the president to revoke the security clearances of a half dozen former Obama-era intelligence officials, including former CIA director John Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and former National Security Advisor Susan Rice. I couldn’t agree more with Paul’s position, not specifically regarding these three people, but for any former intelligence official. No former intelligence official should keep a security clearance, especially if he or she transitions to the media or to a corporate board.

The controversy specifically over Brennan’s clearance has been bubbling along for more than a year. He has been one of Trump’s most vocal and harshest critics. Last week he went so far as to accuse Trump of having committed “treason” during his meeting in Helsinki, Finland with Russian president Vladimir Putin. Brennan said in a tweet, “Donald Trump’s press conference performance in Helsinki rises to & exceeds the threshold of ‘high crimes and misdemeanors.’ It was nothing short of treasonous. Not only were Trump’s comments imbecilic, he is wholly in the pocket of Putin. Republican patriots: Where are you???” The outburst was in response to Trump’s unwillingness to accept the Intelligence Community position that Putin and the Russians interfered in the 2016 presidential election. Rand Paul to ask Trump to revoke security clearance of ex-CIA chief Brennan

Posted by M. C. on July 23, 2018

When li$tening to $ome of the$e neocon/warparty “patriot$” you have to con$ider motivation$.

Brennan’s basic skill set consists of being able to lie to congress and get away with it.

By

Sen. Rand Paul Monday said he is meeting with President Donald Trump to ask for former CIA director John Brennan to have his security clearance revoked.

“Is John Brennan monetizing his security clearance? Is John Brennan making millions of dollars divulging secrets to the mainstream media with his attacks on @realDonaldTrump,” the Kentucky Republican tweeted Monday morning. “Today I will meet with the President and I will ask him to revoke John Brennan’s security clearance.”… Read the rest of this entry »

John Brennan, Melting Down and Covering Up | The American Conservative

Posted by M. C. on July 23, 2018

He lied to congress and was given a free pass by government and the press.

So why wouldn’t he lie to you?

http://www.theamericanconservative.com/articles/john-brennan-melting-down-and-covering-up/

By Peter Van Buren

It isn’t a pretty face, but one scarred from a dark past, repackaged now by the frenzy of “resistance.” Accusing Donald Trump recklessly, implying he knows more than he lets on, promising redemption: John Brennan is the face of American politics in 2018.

But before all that, Brennan lived in a hole about as far down into the deep state as one can dwell while still having eyes that work in the sunlight. He was director of the Central Intelligence Agency. He was Obama’s counterterrorism advisor, helping the president decide who to kill every week, including American citizens. He spent 25 years at the CIA, and helped shape the violent policies of the post-9/11 Bush era. He was a fan of torture and extrajudicial killing to the point that a 2012 profile of him was entitled, “The Seven Deadly Sins of John Brennan.” Another writer called Brennan “the most lethal bureaucrat of all time, or at least since Henry Kissinger.” Today, however, a New York Times puff piece sweeps all that away as a “troubling inheritance.”…

No, Brennan is a man of his times, all bluster and noise, knowing that so long as he says what a significant part of the country apparently believes—that the president of the United States is under the control of the Kremlin—he will never be challenged.

Brennan slithers alongside those like Nancy Pelosi and Cory Booker who said Trump is controlled by Russia, columnists in the New York Times who called him a traitor, an article (which is fast becoming the Zapruder film of Russiagate) in New York Magazine echoing former counterterrorism coordinator Richard Clarke in speculating that Trump met Putin as his handler, and another former intelligence officer warning that “we’re on the cusp of losing the constitutional republic forever.”

Brennan’s bleating has the interesting side effect of directing attention away from who was watching the front door as the Russians walked in to cause what one MSNBC analyst described as a mix of Pearl Harbor and Kristallnacht. During the 2016 election, Brennan was head of the CIA. His evil twin, James Clapper, who also coughs up Trump attacks for nickels these days, was director of national intelligence. James Comey headed the FBI, following Robert Mueller into the job. Yet the noise from that crowd has become so loud as to drown out any questions about where they were when they had the duty to stop the Russians in the first place…

Yet despite all the hard evidence of treason that only Brennan and his supine journalists seem to see, everyone appears resigned to have a colluding Russian agent running the United States. You’d think it would be urgent to close this case. Instead, Brennan admonishes us to wait out an investigative process that’s been underway now through two administrations…

Treason, traitor, coup, the empire striking back—those are just words, Third World stuff, clickbait, right? So the more pedestrian answer must then be correct. The lessons of Whitewater and Benghazi learned, maybe the point is not to build an atmosphere of crisis leading to something undemocratic, but just to have a perpetual investigation, tickled to life as needed politically.

Because, maybe, deep down, Brennan (Clapper, Hayden, Comey, and Mueller) really do know that this is all like flying saucers and cell phone cameras. At some point, the whole alien conspiracy meme fell apart because somehow when everyone had a camera with them 24/7/365, there were no more sightings and we had to admit that our fears had gotten the best of us. The threat was inside us all along. It is now, too.

Be seeing you

Trump Calls Off Cold War II

Posted by M. C. on July 17, 2018

Former CIA Director John Brennan rages that, “Donald Trump’s press conference performance in Helsinki … was … treasonous. … He is wholly in the pocket of Putin. Republican Patriots: Where are you???”

Well, as Patrick Henry said long ago, “If this be treason, make the most of it!”

Brennan is scum. He should be locked in the attic like the mad wife in Jane Eyre.

by

Beginning his joint press conference with Vladimir Putin, President Trump declared that U.S. relations with Russia have “never been worse.”

He then added pointedly, that just changed “about four hours ago.”

It certainly did. With his remarks in Helsinki and at the NATO summit in Brussels, Trump has signaled a historic shift in U.S. foreign policy that may determine the future of this nation and the fate of his presidency.

He has rejected the fundamental premises of American foreign policy since the end of the Cold War and blamed our wretched relations with Russia, not on Vladimir Putin, but squarely on the U.S. establishment. Read the rest of this entry »

Let’s Investigate John Brennan, by Philip Giraldi – The Unz Review

Posted by M. C. on March 28, 2018

If you want to see John Brennan the Erie County (PA) Bar Association is welcoming him sometime in May.  If I were a lawyer I would like to hear how he lied before congress, admitted his lies and managed to remain free.

Thinking this is a great man tells you something about the Erie County Bar.

http://www.unz.com/pgiraldi/lets-investigate-john-brennan/

It is an indication of how low we have sunk as a nation that a possible war criminal like Brennan can feel free to use his former official status as a bully pulpit to claim that someone is a foreign spy without any real pushback or objection from the talking heads and billionaire manipulators that unfortunately run our country. If Trump is actually being blackmailed, as Brennan implies, what evidence is there for that? One might reasonably conclude that Brennan and his associates are actually angry because Trump has had the temerity to try to improve relations with Russia… Read the rest of this entry »

Former CIA Chief Brennan Running Scared – Consortiumnews

Posted by M. C. on March 21, 2018

Brennan is the guest speaker this May for the (PA) Erie County Bar Association.

What kind of mind thinks listening to scum like Brennan would benefit anyone?  Admittedly learning how he lied before congress and went Scott free would be fascinating to a lawyer.

Apparently it interests Erie County Lawyers greatly.

It is easy to see why Brennan lost it. The Attorney General fired McCabe, denying him full retirement benefits, because McCabe “had made an unauthorized disclosure to the news media and lacked candor — including under oath — on multiple occasions.” There but for the grace of God go I, Brennan must have thought, whose stock in trade has been unauthorized disclosures. ‘News directly from the CIA’: Ex-director Brennan hired by NBC — RT US News

Posted by M. C. on February 7, 2018

NBC knows the sheeple want to believe this professional liar. Brennan will undoubtedly fit right in at NBC.

https://www.rt.com/usa/417937-cia-john-brennan-nbc/

That Brennan previously lied to an NBC journalist about the CIA’s attempts to thwart a Senate Intelligence Committee investigation into the agency’s use of torture was apparently no deterrent to his appointment.
