Gun Liability Insurance-Under the Radar Registration and Taxation

While listening to advocates for gun liability insurance on NPR Morning Edition I noticed a significant point was conveniently ignored.  Just as with gun theft insurance, the liability insurers are going to require serial numbers.  This is poorly disguised (except to NPR editors) de facto gun registration.  The insurance companies, like the phone companies, will fall all over themselves data banking information for Big Sis.  This is another somewhat subtle “under the radar” registration ploy.

The Sunday 20 Jan Erie Times Editorial– The Inauguration and the Big Lie.

The Erie Times certainly knows the Constitution is getting buried deeper every day. When it tells the people otherwise, that Obama will protect the Constitution, they are a willing parter in the deception.

Homage is paid to the inauguration. In particular telling us how Obama will “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution”! Let us see, first things first.

First Amendment – Obama wants to control the pesky internet to keep those lying extremists and terrorists from leading us astray. The real reason is that mixed up in all the internet gobbledy gook is the embarrassing, disgusting truth about what our government does. Think Wiki leaks and climategate emails. Gun Violence: Why Doesn’t Obama Target Gangs? Collusion With Sinaloa Drug Gang?

When you combine total domestic surveillance, construction of FEMA re-education camps, Cloward-Pivin style destruction of the economy, government encouragement of psychoanalysis and drug treatment of “victims” and continued expansion of the warfare welfare state-complete disarmament of the populace is a logical next step.  Think of the most prominent gun control advocates of the last century and THEIR methods.  Hitler, Stalin, Mao.  Progressives on steroids.

Jon Rappoport made a list of answers he wants to hear from Obama with regard to gun violence.  A few of which are:

Where is most of the violence occurring? Big city gangs.  Why no mention?

Is the Second Amendment designed in part for common folk to defend themselves from tyrannical government?

Why no mention of the plethora of antidepressants that drive people to murder or suicide?

The point Rappoport makes is that the impetus for gun control is not violence reduction but simple elimination of all privately owned firearms. Read the rest of this entry »
