Book Review: The Assassination of James Forrestal by David Martin – Solari Report

It is like messing with Mother Nature. They get mad.

by Catherine Austin Fitts

James Forrestal had a successful career on Wall Street at Dillon, Read & Co. Inc, rising from an entry level position as bond trader to run the firm in 1937. I described Forrestal in Dillon Read & the Aristocracy of Stock Profits:

“James Forrestal’s oil portrait always hung prominently in one of the private Dillon Read dining rooms for the eleven years that I worked at the firm. Forrestal, a highly regarded Dillon partner and President of the firm, had gone to Washington, D.C. in 1940 to lead the Navy during WWII and then played a critical role in creating the National Security Act of 1947. He then became Secretary of War (later termed Secretary of Defense) in September 1947 and served until March 28, 1949.”

David Martin has just published The Assassination of James Forrestal documenting his investigation into the assassination of Secretary Forrestal on May 22, 1949. Forrestal was killed shortly after his forced resignation in March, his “house arrest” at Bethesda Naval Hospital on the pretext that he was unstable, and immediately before the CIA Act was enacted in June 1949.

In combination, the National Security Act of 1947 and the CIA Act of 1949 established the legal framework for the US black budget. Combined with the seizures of assets from WW II to help create a hidden system of finance, the CIA and the US intelligence agencies became the most powerful bankers on the planet with the ability to field significant “secret money for secret armies.” This was combined with a strategic decision to open US consumer markets to narcotics trafficking to pool low cost capital to help build the Anglo-American empires multinational infrastructure. The various partnerships between mafias, organized crime networks and the British and US intelligence and enforcement networks this required have been described – including by Hollywood.

Assassination is a tool used to decide policy debates. Indeed, the power to kill with impunity is the greatest political power on the planet. By simply eliminating effective leadership with important networks and knowledge, it is possible to change the course of events. If you study the work and assassinations of Secretary Forrestal, Senator Joseph McCarthy, President John Kennedy and Senator Robert Kennedy, you realize what a different country the United States would be if they have managed to stay alive and in position.

Martin has done a remarkable job of sleuthing out the available facts of what happened. He was able after multiple FOIAs to obtain and publish the Navy’s investigation into Forrestal’s death. With much digging and hard work, he was able to sort through what evidence is available and the sources of the smear effort designed to persuade the general population that Forrestal had a nervous breakdown and had committed suicide. it is a case study on the conversion of garbage into “official history” which cascades through journalists and historians through the years….

I continue to wonder about Forrestal’s opposition to a black budget. Martin points out the President Eisenhower’s grandson had reported that President Truman had tasked then General Eisenhower to “push Forrestal out [of office].” Given the powers that Eisenhower vested in the CIA, one wonders if a partnership between the Dulles brothers and the Rockefellers and the Zionists was involved. Something akin to “You get Israeli nationhood, we get the CIA and the black budget.”

How did things get so bad? When you assassinate the best and the brightest and use the shriek-o-meter to promote thugs, then thugs is what you get. If thugs have the ability to use “bribes and bullets” with impunity, then thugs run countries and international orders. Crime that pays is crime that stays…

NBC Journalist Quits Then Blows The Whistle On How Mainstream Media Deceives The Public – Collective Evolution

Posted by M. C. on May 21, 2019

https://www.collective-evolution.com/2019/01/05/nbc-journalist-quits-then-blows-the-whistle-on-how-mainstream-media-deceives-the-public/

By

In Brief

  • The Facts:William Arkin, a longtime well known military and war reporter who is best known for his groundbreaking, three-part Washington Post series in 2010 has gone public outing NBC/MSNBC as completely fake government run agencies.
  • Reflect On:With so many examples showing how mainstream media in the west has been manipulating and molding the minds of the masses on various topics, why do people still deem this a ‘conspiracy theory?’

Confusion can arise when trying to understand why millions of people still tune into mainstream media. Because of this, they (mainstream media) are still having a huge impact on the consciousness of those who watch and surf their platforms for information about what’s happening in our world….

The evidence that what we have been told by mainstream media is either false or lacking the full picture comes in the form of official declassified documentation, real world examples, and from multiple award winning mainstream media journalists who have committed the rest of their lives to letting people know how the media has deceived people…

Some Back Story

One person to speak out recently is NBC/MSNBC reporter William Arkin, a longtime and well-known military reporter who is best known for his groundbreaking, three-part Washington Post series in 2010. He co-reported it with two-time Pulitzer winner Dana Priest on how sprawling, unaccountable, and omnipotent the national security state has become in the post-9/11 era. This report dealt with black budget operations, programs that not even the commander in chief nor Congress has any idea about.

It is ironic that the U.S. should be fighting monstrously expensive wars allegedly to bring democracy to those countries, when it itself can no longer claim to be called a democracy when trillions, and I mean thousands of billions of dollars have been spent on projects which both congress and the commander in chief know nothing about. – Paul Hellyer, Former Canadian Defence Minister (source)

Their investigation lasted approximately two years and concluded that America’s classified world has “become so large, so unwieldy and so secretive that no one knows how much money it costs, how many people it employs, how many programs exist within it or exactly how many agencies do the same work.”

This was many years ago, and the latest developments with regards to these programs has come in the form of $21 trillion missing dollars from the Department of Defence, and the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Michigan State professor and Economist Mark Skidmore, along with former assistant secretary of Housing and Urban Development Catherine Austin Fitts found that this money was going towards black budget programs as well. Fitts has also been quite outspoken about a secret space program.

Multiple Investigations Reveal Secrets About Where US Tax Dollars Are Really Going – Collective Evolution

Posted by M. C. on April 20, 2019

thousands of billions of dollars have been spent on projects which both congress and the commander in chief know nothing about.

https://www.collective-evolution.com/2019/04/19/multiple-investigations-reveal-secrets-about-where-us-tax-dollars-are-really-going/

In Brief

  • The Facts:Multiple investigations and testimony from high ranking sources have discovered that trillions of dollars of our tax dollars are going towards programs that not even the highest ranking people within government know about.
  • Reflect On:Why are we made to believe our taxes dollars are going towards necessary services that favour the population? Why do we so easily trust our government and take their word for it when evidence says otherwise.

It’s amazing how much money is scraped off of each paycheque, and how much money multiple small and big businesses pay. We are told that it’s necessary, that this is the money going towards various programs that are responsible for building our schools, employing people for necessary services and infrastructure, among many other things. It’s truly amazing how much money governments rake in from taxes.

It’s an astronomical amount that makes it hard to see how all of the money is allocated to services that are in the people’s favour, instead of the possibility of it going into the pockets of certain politicians and elitists, among other places. Yet we are heavily taxed, and reasons for taxation are constantly brought up and justified, almost as if to imply that there really is no other way of changing things and doing things differently here on planet Earth. Our potential is huge, yet we are convinced that money and taxation are our only ways to operate…

These projects are known as ‘black budget programs,’ which include Special Access Programs (SAPs). Within these we have unacknowledged and waived SAPs. These programs do not exist publicly, but they do indeed exist. They are better known as ‘deep black programs.’ A 1997 US Senate report described them as “so sensitive that they are exempt from standard reporting requirements to the Congress.”

Not many people have investigated the black budget world, but The Washington Post revealed that the “black-budget” documents indicate that a staggering 52.6 billion dollars was set aside for operations in fiscal year 2013.(source) More recent investigations, however, reveal a lot more than that.  The topic was discussed in 2010 by Washington Post journalists Dana Priest and William Arkin. Their investigation lasted approximately two years and concluded that America’s classified world has:

Become so large, so unwieldy and so secretive that no one knows how much money it costs, how many people it employs, how many programs exist within it or exactly how many agencies do the same work. (source)

Recently, Arkin quit NBC/MSNBC  and went public outing them as completely fake government run agencies. You can read more about that hereHere is another article we published that has links within it to documents showing the close relationship between mainstream media, academia, and the CIA.

The most recent investigation was conducted by economist and Michigan State professor Mark Skidmore, alongside some of his graduate students as well as Catherine Austin Fitts, former assistant secretary of Housing and Urban Development. They discovered trillions of unaccounted for dollars missing from the Department of Housing & Urban Development as well as the Department of Defense. For their research, the team used several government websites and made inquiries to multiple U.S. agencies. Much of the time they received no response and the Office of the Inspector General even disabled links to all key documents that revealed unsupported spending, according to the team.

Given the Army’s $122 billion budget, that meant unsupported adjustments were 54 times spending authorized by Congress. Typically, such adjustments in public budgets are only a small fraction of authorized spending… Skidmore thought Fitts had made a mistake. “Maybe she meant $6.5 billion and not $6.5 trillion,” he said. “So I found the report myself and sure enough it was $6.5 trillion.” – Michigan State News.

They went on to find documents indicating a total of $20 trillion worth of undocumented adjustments made from 1998 t0 2015. Our tax dollars are going directly into these black budget programs, which often cost far more than our roads and services. If this information was made transparent and public for discovery and use, it would leap all of humanity into the stars and into new discovery and exploration. The implications would be huge, and it would force us to ask more questions.

Here’s a great quote from Paul Hellyer.

It is ironic that the U.S. would begin a devastating war, allegedly in search of weapons of mass destruction when the most worrisome developments in this field are occurring in your own backyard. (source)

What’s even more interesting is that Fitts has been quite outspoken about a secret space program and where this missing money is actually going. She explains how enormous amounts of resources were handed over to covert operations to develop a security system of finance. This then created the CIA and a select group of people who were in charge of UFO technology. “By the time JFK came into office ready to challenge this shadow government and make space program the centrepiece of his administration, the civil war between the Deep State and the public state was in full force.” (source)

Interesting to say the least…

Has the Government Legalized Secret Defense Spending? – Rolling Stone

Posted by M. C. on January 21, 2019

“From this point forward,” he says, “the federal government will keep two sets of books, one modified book for the public and one true book that is hidden.”

https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-features/secret-government-spending-779959/

..The only thing that did not make the news was an announcement by a little-known government body called the Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board — FASAB — that essentially legalized secret national security spending. The new guidance, “SFFAS 56 – CLASSIFIED ACTIVITIES” permits government agencies to “modify” public financial statements and move expenditures from one line item to another. It also expressly allows federal agencies to refrain from telling taxpayers if and when public financial statements have been altered.

To Michigan State professor Mark Skidmore, who’s been studying discrepancies in defense expenditures for years, the new ruling — and the lack of public response to it — was a shock.

“From this point forward,” he says, “the federal government will keep two sets of books, one modified book for the public and one true book that is hidden.”

Steven Aftergood of the Federation of American Scientists’ Project on Government Secrecywas one of the few people across the country to pay attention to the FASAB news release. He was alarmed.

“It diminishes the credibility of all public budget documents,” he says… Read the rest of this entry »
