Deep State Gone Wild: Comey Asserts Unprecedented FBI Supremacy

Posted by M. C. on June 9, 2017

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/06/08/deep-state-gone-wild-comey-asserts-unprecedented-fbi-supremacy/

“We concluded it made little sense to report it to Attorney General Sessions, who we expected would likely recuse himself from involvement in Russia-related investigations. (He did so two weeks later.) The Deputy Attorney General’s role was then filled in an acting capacity by a United States Attorney, who would also not be long in the role,” Comey said. “After discussing the matter, we decided to keep it very closely held, resolving to figure out what to do with it down the road as our investigation progressed.” Read the rest of this entry »

USA Today: Time to Dethrone the FBI – James Bovard

Posted by M. C. on May 30, 2017

http://jimbovard.com/blog/2017/05/11/usa-today-time-to-dethrone-the-fbi/

The FBI-The story that keeps on giving.

In the late 1990s, the FBI Academy taught agents that subjects of investigations “have forfeited their right to the truth.” This doctrine helped fuel pervasive entrapment operations after 9/11. Trevor Aaronson, author of The Terror Factory: Inside the FBI’s Manufactured War on Terrorism, estimated that only about 1% of the 500 people charged with international terrorism offenses in the decade after 9/11 were bona fide threats. Thirty times as many were induced by the FBI to behave in ways that prompted their arrest. The bureau’s informant program extends far beyond Muslims. It bankrolled an extremist right-wing New Jersey blogger and radio host for five years before his 2009 arrest for threatening federal judges. Read the rest of this entry »

Deep Statist – LewRockwell

Posted by M. C. on May 28, 2017

https://lewrockwell.com/2017/05/roger-stone/deep-statist/

Inn 2013 James Comey became a board member, a director and a Financial System Vulnerabilities Committee member of the London bank HSBC Holdings.   HSBC is noted as the world’s most corrupt bank.  In 2012 HSBC was fined $1.9 billion for laundering drug money and violating U.S. sanctions against Iran.  In 2015 it paid Swiss authorities $43 million to settle allegations that it helped the global elite illegally dodge taxes.  Yet no one to jail for this drug-related mega-crime. The $1.9 billion fine was sold by Comey to Loretta Lynch our Attorney General.  Lynch used the “deferred prosecutions” under which criminal charges against a firm are set aside in lieu of a fine.

Do High-Level Leaks Suggest a Conspiracy? | The American Conservative

Posted by M. C. on May 21, 2017

http://www.theamericanconservative.com/articles/do-high-level-leaks-suggest-a-conspiracy/

Similar leaks have been appearing since that time. I confess to finding Monday’s detailed account of what President Trump discussed with Russian Ambassador Sergey Lavrov, which included corroborating material that likely did more damage than the information that was actually shared, highly suggestive of the possibility that something like a conspiracy is, in fact, functioning. Given the really tight-security control of that transcript after it was determined that it contained sensitive information, one might reasonably assume that the leaks to the media came directly out of Donald Trump’s own National Security Council or from the highest levels of the office of the DNI, CIA, or FBI. FBI Perspective: A Letter to Martin Luther King

Posted by M. C. on May 18, 2017

Just to keep the FBI/Comey thing in perspective, there is a certain historical honesty to Comey’s shenanigans. The FIB is mostly a political tool. The honest taxpayer is not part of it’s equation.  They are all about image and getting arrests.  Even if they have to entrap half-wit “terrorists” who couldn’t find their ass with both hands let alone a detonator button.

For example-How many people remain falsely imprisoned because FBI hair analysis doesn’t work?  The FIB had a man convicted as a result of not being able to recognize dog hair.

In one particularly shocking case from 1978, two FBI-trained hair analysts who helped in the prosecution of a murder case couldn’t even tell the difference between human hair and dog hair.

Here is a portion of a letter J Edgar Hoover had sent to Martin Luther King.

King, look into your heart. You know you are a complete fraud and a great liability to all of us Negroes. White people in this country have enough frauds of their own but I am sure they don’t have one at this time anywhere near your equal. You are no clergyman and you know it. I repeat you are a colossal fraud and an evil, vicious one at that. You could not believe in God… Clearly you don’t believe in any personal moral principles.

King, there is only one thing left for you to do. You know what it is. You have just 34 days in which to do it (this exact number has been selected for a specific reason, it has definite practical significance). You are done. There is but one way out for you. You better take it before your filthy, abnormal fraudulent self is bared to the nation.

Why the FBI Has Always Been a Political Tool of Suppression | The Daily Bell

Posted by M. C. on May 14, 2017

http://www.thedailybell.com/news-analysis/why-the-fbi-has-always-been-a-political-tool-of-suppression/

It wasn’t for political purposes that the FBI sent a letter to Martin Luther King Jr. encouraging him to kill himself?

There is a dangerous myth that permeates the political arena that government agencies and bureaucrats can somehow be non-political and independent.

How absurd.

And then there are scarily independent agencies like the CIA and NSA who pretty much do whatever they want, regardless of who heads the Department.

But the FBI is a sketchy mix of independence and politics, and it always has been. From its inception, the first FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover made the agency a hotbed of political suppression, arresting anarchists and communists sometimes without warrants, and deporting thousands of immigrants based on minimal evidence of subversion. Blog: Russian hacker claims FBI offered him citizenship and a new life if he would confess to hacking Podesta emails on behalf of Putin and Trump

Posted by M. C. on May 13, 2017

According to a report in Newsweek by Tom O’Connor, a Russian hacker who had been detained in Prague at the request of US authorities, was visited multiple times by FBI agents, who pressed him to confess to hacking the Podesta emails at the behest of Putin, and to help Trump. They allegedly (and unsuccessfully) offered generous inducements, to say the least.
So Comey gets sucker punched. Serves him right. Now about James Brennan…

When the FBI Went After ‘Mad’ Magazine | Mental Floss

Posted by M. C. on May 4, 2017

http://mentalfloss.com/article/65966/when-fbi-went-after-mad-magazine

Just two years later, in January 1960, Agent A. Jones was forced to file a second notice about the shenanigans at Mad. A recent issue had made not one, but two derogatory mentions of Hoover, including one in which he is blatantly and disrespectfully portrayed as being associated with a vacuum cleaner, “The Honorable J. Edgar Electrolux”:

With Hoover it was all about him and “his” bureau.

In a memo dated November 30, 1957, an agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation identified as “A. Jones” raised an issue of critical importance: “Several complaints to the Bureau have been made concerning the ‘Mad’ comic book [sic], which at one time presented the horror of war to readers.”

The war party is like a snowflake. Mustn’t let anyone ruin their good time.

Facebook ‘must pay to police internet’ or face fines: UK parliament

Posted by M. C. on May 1, 2017

http://www.canberratimes.com.au/technology/technology-news/facebook-must-pay-to-police-internet-20170430-gvvz2e.html

Social media firms may be forced to pay for the cost of policing digital crimes and should be fined if they do not quickly censor illegal posts, under plans published by a parliamentary committee on Monday.

It is amusing that an entity the UK is demanding to eradicate terrorism/hate material from the internet is a tool of the CIA. The same CIA that funds Al Qaeda and ISIS Syrian rebels.

Facebook policing the internet is like the FBI investigating itself.

Facebook does indeed have police experience. Ridding German Facebook of anti-immigration comments for Angela Merkel.

The age old quandary is-one man’s terror posting is another man’s freedom statement. Read the rest of this entry »

Is the FBI Spying on Ron Paul? – LewRockwell

Posted by M. C. on April 24, 2017

https://lewrockwell.com/2017/04/michael-s-rozeff/fbi-spying-ron-paul/

The FBI has a habit of investigating people they shouldn’t. This includes Jackie Robinson, Arthur Miller, Martin Luthur King, Jr., Helen Keller, Charlie Chaplin, Rock Hudson, Truman Capote, and Lucille Ball. (See here.)

If a warrant can be issued because Carter Page had Russian friends, criticized the sanctions against Russia and lambasted U.S. foreign policy toward Russia, then when you come right down to it, no one is safe from FBI spying. Ron Paul is not safe. Lew Rockwell is not safe. Daniel McAdams is not safe. Justin Raimondo is not safe. Read the rest of this entry »
