Coronavirus and the Gates Foundation | New Eastern Outlook

Posted by M. C. on April 26, 2021

Add to this the fact that the Gates Foundation and related entities such as CEPI constitute the largest funders of the public-private entity known as WHO, and that its current director, Tedros Adhanom, the first WHO director in history not a medical doctor, worked for years on HIV with the Gates Foundation when Tedros was a government minister in Ethiopia, and we see that there is practically no area of the current coronavirus pandemic where the footprints of the omnipresent Gates are not to be found. If that is to the good of mankind or grounds to be worried, time will tell.

Author: F.William Engdahl

Arguably, no one has been more active in promoting and funding research on vaccines aimed at dealing with coronavirus than Bill Gates and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. From sponsoring a simulation of a coronavirus global pandemic, just weeks before the Wuhan outbreak was announced, to funding numerous corporate efforts to come up with a novel vaccine for the apparently novel virus, the Gates presence is there. What does it actually entail?

We must admit that at the very least Bill Gates is prophetic. He has claimed for years that a global killer pandemic will come and that we are not prepared for it. On March 18, 2015 Gates gave a TED talk on epidemics in Vancouver. That day he wrote on his blog, “I just gave a brief talk on a subject that I’ve been learning a lot about lately—epidemics. The Ebola outbreak in West Africa is a tragedy—as I write this, more than 10,000 people have died.” Gates then added, “As awful as this epidemic has been, the next one could be much worse. The world is simply not prepared to deal with a disease—an especially virulent flu, for example—that infects large numbers of people very quickly. Of all the things that could kill 10 million people or more, by far the most likely is an epidemic.”

That same year, 2015, Bill Gates wrote an article for the New England Journal of Medicine titled, “The Next Epidemic: Lessons from Ebola.” There he spoke of a special class of drugs that “involves giving patients a set of particular RNA-based constructs that enables them to produce specific proteins(including antibodies).Although this is a very new area, it is promising because it is possible that a safe therapy could be designed and put into large-scale manufacture fairly rapidly. More basic research as well as the progress of companies like Moderna and CureVac could eventually make this approach a key tool for stopping epidemics.” Moderna and CureVac both today receive funds from the Gates Foundation and are leading the race to develop an approved COVID-19 vaccine based on mRNA.

2020: The Year We Lost Our Common Sense, Courage and Civil Liberties — Strategic Culture

For the Fortune 500 companies, however, the pandemic has translated into a windfall. Between April and September, at a time when thousands of small business were quietly getting crushed underfoot, 45 of the 50 most valuable publicly traded American companies turned a profit, according to the Washington Post.

At the same time, at least 27 of the 50 largest firms slashed their workforce this year, collectively cutting more than 100,000 workers, while at the same time distributing billions of dollars to shareholders. As just one example, Walmart distributed more than $10 billion to its investors during the pandemic while terminating 1,200 office staff.

Robert Bridge

Once it became clear to the Western elite that their subjects would readily accept draconian anti-Covid measures, it encouraged them to usher in a code-red lifestyle where there will be no ‘return to normal’ in the foreseeable future and, possibly, never.

If nothing else, nobody can say we were not warned about the madness that would descend upon leap year 2020, making it one of the worst 366 days ever recorded on the Gregorian calendar.

On October 18, 2019, the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, together with the World Economic Forum and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation hosted the incredibly visionary Event 201, an exercise that simulated the outbreak of a pandemic “transmitted from bats to people that eventually becomes…transmissible from person to person.”

The simulation proved to be so uncannily similar to the real thing that started just three months later – from imagining a dramatic drop in air travel and business, to breaks in the global supply chain – that Johns Hopkins eventually felt compelled to release a statement saying their exercise was not intended to be a prophecy of future events.

Isn’t it crazy how “social distance for two weeks so our hospitals aren’t overwhelmed” evolved into “social distance til 2022 until a vaccine is developed…”

— Liz Wheeler (@Liz_Wheeler) April 26, 2020

“To be clear, the Center for Health Security and partners did not make a prediction during our tabletop exercise,” the statement read, in what just might be the creepiest caveat ever. “For the scenario, we modeled a fictional coronavirus pandemic, but we explicitly stated that it was not a prediction… We are not now predicting that the nCoV-2019 outbreak will kill 65 million people.”

Shortly after the global elite played Nostradamus, on January 15th to be exact (the very same day, incidentally, that the Democrats presented articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump in the Senate), the first Covid-positive person arrived in Seattle from Wuhan, the Chinese city where the disease is said to have sprung to life. From there it has been a non-stop roller-coaster ride of government-sponsored insanity.

Before continuing, it is important to remember the context with which the pandemic has been happening, that is, in the most consequential U.S. presidential election in recent memory. It should thus come as no surprise that the Democrats and Republicans would use the scourge to achieve some sort of advantage, demonstrating Machiavellian opportunism at its very best. Indeed, such is the nature of the political beast.

For example, although Trump shut down the U.S. border on January 31 to Chinese nationals, the Democrats and leftist media pounced, saying the U.S. leader responded too late to make a difference. Even Trump’s use of the term ‘Chinese virus’ was slammed by his opponents as ‘racist.’ Meanwhile, it was the Democrats themselves who were the pioneers in taking the first draconian steps of locking down society to stop the contagion.

On March 16, 2020, six counties in northern California and the city of Berkley ordered an unprecedented stay-at-home order for some 7 million Bay Area residents. This was all part of “flattening the curve” logic that would “buy time for hospitals to gear up for the onslaught…” Well, 233 days later political leaders are not only still flattening the curve, but flattening their economies as well. Today, although the survival rate for those infected with Covid-19 is reported to be in the neighborhood of 99.85 percent, harsh lockdowns continue to wreak havoc, not least of all for small businesses.

Over 100,000 restaurants have closed this year due to lockdowns, but not a penny for them in the “Covid Relief” bill?

— Cari Kelemen (@KelemenCari) December 22, 2020

Consider the situation in California, where Governor Gavin Newsom has mandated yet another ‘shelter-in-place’ order, which has shuttered, among other businesses, hair salons, barbershops, personal care services, movie theaters, wineries, bars, breweries, family entertainment centers and amusement parks. What is hard to fathom, however, is how the corporate big-box stores are considered “essential businesses,” apparently immune to the scourge, while the small business owner is trashed as expendable.

By way of example, consider the tragic plight of Angela Marsden, the owner of Pineapple Hill Saloon and Grill in Los Angeles. In an effort to comply with the ever-changing anti-Covid rules, Marsden spent over $80,000 to build an outdoor patio so she could stay in business during the pandemic. With Newsom’s latest lockdown restrictions, however, city officials denied her permission to serve clients on location, even in the parking lot.

To add insult to injury, the authorities granted permission for a film company to set up a large outdoor eating area for its staff just across the road from where Marsden had built her patio.

“I’m losing everything,” she exclaimed in a video posted to Twitter that has been watched almost 10 million times. “Everything I own is being taken away from me. They have not given us money and they have shut us down. We cannot survive; my staff cannot survive…”

This is criminal. Complete BS!!! I guess this is “science”! RT @ClayTravis: Watch this video of an LA bar owner that perfectly crystallizes the absurdity of California’s absurd and ridiculous shutdown rules.

As just one example, Walmart distributed more than $10 billion to its investors during the pandemic while terminating 1,200 office staff.

To put these figures another way, since mid-March – when President Donald Trump declared a national emergency – America’s 614 billionaires saw their net worth explode by $931 billion in total. Jeff Bezos, for example, the founder and chief executive of Amazon, saw his private wealth go from $73.2bn since the start of the crisis to a record $186.2bn.

What’s Good For Thee Is Not Good For Me

A thread ⬇

— Patriotic Candor (@PatrioticCandor) December 3, 2020

It would probably come as no surprise that the very individuals who helped pave the way for astronomic wealth generation among the 1 percent, are the same ones breaking their own rules. Governor Newsom and his wife, for example, attended a birthday party with a dozen friends at the French Laundry restaurant in San Francisco. Equally maddening is that Dustin Corcoran, the CEO of the California Medical Association, was also in attendance. And who could forget the photo of Nancy Pelosi walking through a California hair salon when such businesses were deemed ‘super spreaders’?

Such incidences only served to reinforce the idea that the draconian lockdowns, the worst of which are centered on Democratic-controlled states, were specifically designed not to contain a contagion, but to foster as much anger and frustration among the general population in the most consequential presidential election in many decades. After all, unhappy people have a tendency to vote out their leaders whom they believe are responsible for such dire circumstances. And with the mainstream media almost totally in the Democratic anti-Trump camp, placing the blame on the president has proven no difficult task.

So where do we go from here? Now that we have reached the end of 2020, will the situation begin to improve? Will political leaders begin to loosen the screws and let some semblance of normality return once again? Or will people be forced to rise up and demand the return of their freedom and liberty?

At this great loggerhead in human history, there has been much talk about creating ‘freedom passes’ that will be demanded from people before they are allowed to travel or visit any sort of entertainment again.

“People who test negative for coronavirus could get a five-day freedom pass to attend big events or access public buildings, under plans being considered by public health experts running a trial program in England,” reported Bloomberg in November.

Already, five global airlines – United Airlines, Lufthansa, Virgin Atlantic, Swiss International Air Lines and JetBlue – have announced they will observe the so-called CommonPass to passengers on some flights from December.

“The project, developed by non-profit group The Commons Project and backed by the World Economic Forum, uses a digital certificate downloaded to a mobile phone to show a passenger has tested negative for Covid-19,” according to the Financial Times. Here is the kicker: “The airlines are not making the CommonPass mandatory, but in time it will also be used to provide proof of vaccination.”

It seems rather obvious where all of this is heading: mandatory vaccination for anyone who ever wishes to board an aircraft or visit another entertainment venue again. Over time, it is not difficult to imagine a vaccine regimen extending to all human activities, including shopping and even getting a job. Yet what about the millions of people who have expressed extreme skepticism in being administered a vaccine that has been developed so quickly?

Whatever the case may be, should such a plan of action become mandatory, peoples’ lives will be entirely dominated by fears over a virus, together with an endless bureaucratic process of being tested and approved to move about. Vaccines will become a regular requirement since viruses are in a state of constant mutation, which makes them the authoritarians dream instrument of domination.

Such a system of totalitarian control, should it ever come into fruition, will have achieved in mere months what fascism could not in years: the pacification and unification of a great swath of the world’s population not by bayonet, but by syringe. In fact, today the people of London are fleeing their fair city not out of fear of the virus per se, but out of fear of the lockdown restrictions put in place by the authorities. To put it otherwise, the world gave an inch and the globalists took a mile, and a person would have to be a fool to believe it could have turned out any other way.

Gene drive technology: what species should we make extinct today? « Jon Rappoport’s Blog

Posted by M. C. on June 19, 2020

“Genetic engineering is to traditional crossbreeding what the nuclear bomb was to the sword.” (Andrew Kimbrell, executive director of Center for Food Safety)

by Jon Rappoport

—Freedom includes the natural right to resist and reject any technology that endangers life.

A passionate and dedicated scientist says, “I have a plan. By manipulating genes, we can make invasive rodents extinct, on an island where humans are living.”

In the next fraction of a second, a flurry of questions pops up and jumps up.

The overarching question is:

Does this mean genetic manipulation can make ANY species extinct?

Welcome to the world of gene drive technology.

Here is a passage from Gene Drive Files, a vital site with an enormous amount of referenced information on the subject:

“Gene drives are a gene-editing application that allows genetic engineers to drive a single artificial trait through an entire population by ensuring that all of an organism’s offspring carry that trait. For example, recent experiments are fitting mice with ‘daughterless’ gene drives that will cascade through mouse populations so that only male pups are born, ensuring that the population becomes extinct after a few generations.”

“Proponents have framed gene drives as a breakthrough tool for eradicating pests or invasive species. However, the Gene Drive Files reveal that these ‘conservation’ efforts are primarily supported by military funds.”

So it appears the answer is yes. Gene drive technology could be deployed to wipe out troublesome plant-parasites, weeds, crops, animal pests, animals, and…humans. Mull that over with your morning coffee.

Several years ago, the UN was considering a recommendation to call a moratorium on the use of gene drives. Here is what the Gene Drive Files reports about that tussle and the appearance of Bill Gates on the scene:

“Documents received under Freedom of Information requests reveal that the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation paid a private agriculture and biotechnology PR firm $1.6 million for activities on Gene Drives. This included running a covert ‘advocacy coalition’ which appears to have intended to skew the only UN expert process addressing gene drives…”

“Following global calls in December 2016 from Southern countries and over 170 organizations for a UN moratorium on gene drives, emails to gene drive advocates received under a freedom of Information request by Prickly Research reveal that a private public affairs firm ‘Emerging Ag’ received funds from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to co-ordinate the ‘fight back against gene drive moratorium proponents’.”

There’s more from the Gene Drive Files. It involves the military:

“A trove of emails (The Gene Drive Files) from leading U.S. gene drive researchers reveals that the U.S. Military is taking the lead in driving forward gene drive development.”

“Emails obtained through a freedom of Information request by U.S.–based Prickly Research reveal that the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has given approximately $100 million for gene drive research, $35 million more than previously reported, making them likely the largest single funder of gene drive research on the planet. The emails also reveal that DARPA either funds or co-ordinates with almost all major players working on gene drive development as well as the key holders of patents on CRISPR gene editing technology.”

“These funds go beyond the US; DARPA is now also directly funding gene drive researchers in Australia (including monies given to an Australian government agency, CSIRO) and researchers in the UK. The files also reveal an extremely high level of interest and activity by other sections of the U.S. military and Intelligence community.”

People will argue the military involvement is “defensive” in nature. The Pentagon must know what our enemies are doing in their gene drive research labs, so we can hopefully combat those efforts.

As we’ve seen in the past, such claims about US military research on nuclear weapons and bio/chemical warfare were proven false. The “defensive” research included the push to develop offensive capability.

Knowing how military planner think (and not just in the US), I’m sure their researchers are trying to figure out how to use gene drives to eliminate “just a select part” of the human population. Meaning the enemy. Which leads to the next point:

The what-could-possibly-go-wrong question. As I’ve shown in past articles, the latest and greatest gene editing tools (e.g., CRISPR), which are used for gene drives, are far from slam-dunk precise, despite official assurances.

For example, Nature Communications, May 31, 2017, “CRISPR/Cas9 targeting events cause complex deletions and insertions at 17 sites in the mouse genome.” Unintended genetic “deletions and insertions.”

And how about this study? It was published in Genome Biology on June 14, 2017, and is titled, “CRISPR/Cas9-mediated genome editing induces exon skipping by alternative splicing or exon deletion.” An exon is “a segment of a DNA or RNA molecule containing information coding for a protein or peptide sequence.” So you can see that exon skipping or deletion is a very bad idea.

In other words, ANY gene editing done on ANY species opens the door wide to all sorts of errors and unforeseen consequences. Doomsday genetic warfare and mutually assured destruction are the far shore of insanity…but closer in, where the highly limited experiments are taking place, there is no safety zone, either. Insanity reigns there as well.

“I went to Monsanto, and I spent a lot of time with the scientists there, and I have revised my outlook, and I’m very excited about telling the world. When you’re in love, you want to tell the world.” (Bill Nye, the science guy)

“I know it’s a long shot and people would say it’s ‘too absurd’… but I’m doing this with hopes of making a Mickey Mouse some day.” (Arikuni Uchimura, quoted in “Japan bio-scientists produce ‘singing mouse’”, The Independent, 21 December 2010.)

“Genetic engineering is to traditional crossbreeding what the nuclear bomb was to the sword.” (Andrew Kimbrell, executive director of Center for Food Safety)

Bill Gates, HR6666, Remdesivir, Deaths in Italy « Jon Rappoport’s Blog

Posted by M. C. on May 13, 2020

“In 2009, the New York Times reported that the Gates Foundation was
partnering with media companies to write and shape stories to ‘embed’
messages in primetime dramas:”

Each of these subjects deserves its own article. Bill Gates would
require a library of thick volumes. I don’t have the time to write
separate pieces, since I’m also busy with other research on the fake

So I’ll hit the highlights.

BILL GATES: Here, from FAIR, the long-standing media-watch group, is a September 4, 2016, article, “This Guardian piece touting Bill Gates’ education investment brought to you by Bill Gates.” It adds a layer of explanation about Gates’ Death Star:

“The Gates Foundation gives grants in the hundreds of thousands and
often millions to such media organizations as NBCUniversal, Al Jazeera,
BBC, Viacom (CBS) and Participant Media (the producer of pro-charter
school documentary Waiting for Superman). Both Gates and the Gates
Foundation are sizable shareholders in Comcast, which is the primary
investor in Buzzfeed and Vox, as well the parent corporation of MSNBC
and NBC News—the latter of which teamed up with Gates and other noted
education experts like Exxon and University of Phoenix Online for the
week-long charter school commercial ‘Education Week’.”

“In 2009, the New York Times reported that the Gates Foundation was
partnering with media companies to write and shape stories to ‘embed’
messages in primetime dramas:”

“’It [the Gates Foundation] is less well known as a behind-the-scenes
influencer of public attitudes toward these issues by helping to shape
story lines and insert messages into popular entertainment like the
television shows ER, Law & Order: SVU and Private Practice. The
foundation’s messages on HIV prevention, surgical safety AND THE SPREAD
OF INFECTIOUS DISEASES have found their way into these shows.” [CAPS are

“His enormous wealth and the reach of media parent corporations seem
to exempt Gates from routine disclosure requirements. He was offered up
as an education expert in the pro-charter Waiting for Superman, without
any mention of the fact that he donated at least $2 million to the film
and had a media partnership with its distributor, Viacom. He is given
softball interviews in Comcast-backed Vox without disclosure that he’s a
major Comcast investor. Because his stake in media companies is
laundered enough times, it’s assumed not to merit mention.”

“In the case of the Guardian, Gates effectively owns an entire
vertical, so when one of his investments is written up, one doesn’t
notice the conflict of interest—like a fish doesn’t notice water.
Because his influence is everywhere, it appears to be nowhere.”

HR6666: This aptly numbered bill is moving forward
in the US House Energy and Commerce Committee. Titled TRACE, “Testing,
Reaching, And Contacting Everyone,” it officially embeds the snitch
culture—with benefits for new agents of the State:

“To authorize the Secretary of Health and Human Services to award
grants to eligible entities to conduct diagnostic testing for COVID–19,
and related activities such as contact tracing, through mobile health
units and, as necessary, at individuals’ residences, and for other

“The Secretary of Health and Human Services, acting through the
Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, may award
grants to eligible entities to conduct diagnostic testing for COVID–19,
to trace and monitor the contacts of infected individuals, and to
support the quarantine of such contacts…”

HR6666 funds this enterprise to the tune of “$100,000,000,000 for
fiscal year 2020; and such sums as may be necessary for each of fiscal
year 2021 and any subsequent fiscal year during which the emergency
period continues.”

Why don’t they simply advertise: “Have you always wanted to run
around like a little fascist, targeting the unwary, the sheep, the
outliers, the rebels, the dissenters? Here’s your chance. The State will
pay you to do it. Who knows? Maybe the government will design a uniform
for you, embroidered with the logo of a skull or a virus with spikes.”

REMDESIVIR: This is the Fauci COVID drug. He wants
the antiviral to hit the market yesterday. At the Alliance for Human
Research and Protection (, an article points to the fraud:

“Fauci’s Promotional Hype Catapults Gilead’s Remdesivir”:
“[On 4/29], Gilead [the manufacturer of remdesivir] issued a press
release announcing that it ‘was aware of positive data emerging from [a]
National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID) study’.”
[Gilead provided assistance on study design and conduct to NIAID.]

“Based on the ‘positive data’ from the NIAID study, the Food and Drug
Administration approved emergency use of remdesivir against COVID-19 on
May 1.”

“…Dr. Anthony Fauci, who heads the President’s Coronavirus Task
Force, and heads the NIAID, since 1984, has a vested interest in
remdesivir. He sponsored the [NIAID] clinical trial whose detailed
results have not been peer-reviewed. What’s more, [on May 1] HE declared
the tenuous results to be ‘highly significant,’ and pronounced
remdesivir to be the new ‘standard of care.’”

“Dr. Fauci made the promotional pronouncement while sitting on a
couch in the White House, without providing a detailed news release;
without a briefing at a medical meeting or in a scientific journal – as
is the norm and practice, to allow scientists and researchers to review
the data.”

“What Dr. Fauci failed to disclose to the public in his promotional
pronouncement was that the [list of] primary outcomes [measures for
success or failure] of the [NAID] study [NCT04280705] were changed on
April 16, 2020. Changes in the Primary Outcome are posted on Clinical”

“Changing primary outcomes [measures] after a study has commenced is considered dubious and suspicious.”

“Reuters News reported that highly respected prominent leaders in the
medical community — such as Steven Nissen, MD, the chief academic
officer at the Cleveland Clinic and Eric Topol, MD, director and founder
of the Scripps Research Translational Institute in California – were
unimpressed by remdesivir’s tentative, modest benefit at best.”

“…the NIAID-Gilead study results have not been published in
peer-reviewed literature – nor have details of the findings been
disclosed. However, they were publicly promoted by the head of the
federal agency that conducted the study, from the White House. What
better free advertisement?”

So…take this admittedly toxic drug. Convincing data? No need. Just
trust Fauci. Like other drugs of its type, remdesivir inhibits the
machinery of cell-reproduction in the body.

DEATHS IN ITALY: I have reported on this con in the
past. Italy’s own National Institute of Health has been combing through
the records of patients who have died. Their average age? 79.5. And the
overwhelming percentage of these people were already suffering from
multiple, long-term, serious health conditions—and had certainly been
treated with a number of toxic medical drugs. Claiming their deaths
stemmed from the purported COVID-19 virus would be absurd.

Add to these facts the horrendous air pollution in areas of Northern
Italy. Toxic air can easily explain the lung conditions attributed to
the virus.

In recent years, the annual number of flu cases in Italy averages
roughly five million. It’s a simple matter to label some of these people

I’ve also indicated that vaccination campaigns could account for
destruction of health in Northern Italy. I have a few possible clues in
that regard.

Colorado Naturopathic Doctor, Michael Murray writes: “Could a new flu
vaccine be partly responsible for the COVID-19 mortality rate in
Italy?…My colleague, Dr. Alex Vazquez, provided me with a valuable
insight. In September 2019, Italy rolled out an entirely new type of
influenza vaccine. This vaccine called VIQCC is different than others.
Most available influenza vaccines are produced in embryonated chicken
eggs. VIQCC, however, is produced from cultured animal cells rather than
eggs and has more of a ‘boost’ to the immune system as a result. VIQCC
also contains four types of viruses – 2 type A viruses (H1N1 and H3N2)
and 2 type B viruses…”

Well-known Italian writer, Br. Alexis Bugnolo, states: “Italians are
still trying to understand why Bergamo, of all the cities of Italy, is
the epicenter of the Coronavirus epidemic…”

“One factor may be that the city was vaccinated en mass not once, but
twice, in the 2 months preceding the Coronavirus outbreak in the city.”

In the fall [2019], according to records 141,000 doses of vaccine
against the winter flu were administered by the local health board. Of
those, 129,000 were Italians over 65 years of age. Of those, 129,000,
70% had grave heart problems.”

“Then, again, in December, from the 24th through to January, there
was a mass vaccination program against Hepatitis-C of 21,331 citizens of
Bergamo. And in the surrounding province, another 12,000 citizens.”

At “In September 2019 was made available for the
first time in Italy a ‘cell-based’ flu shot, called VIQCC or QIVc, that
is produced from cultured animal cells rather than eggs.”

“VIQCC is a quadrivalent flu vaccine that contains 2 type A viruses
(H1N1 and H3N2) and 2 type B viruses. It is approved for people ages 9
and older.”

ANY vaccines given to people whose immune systems are already
weakened—such as the elderly and infirm—are automatically dangerous and
life-threatening at a high level. Two vaccines within the space of a few
months, one of which has added new viral material and/or a variety of
new cellular and genetic debris—plus the usual toxic chemicals—and you
have a potential recipe for disaster.

The Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity : Why Sweden Has Already Won the Debate on COVID ‘Lockdown’ Policy

Posted by M. C. on May 2, 2020

…but then Boris Johnson came under intense pressure from the media and opposition after the arrival of Imperial College’s notorious “500,000 dead” paper presented to the government by Prof. Neil Ferguson. As a result, UK officials quickly changed course in a “180 degree U-turn,” said Gieseck, who was shocked how an unpublished paper relying on computer models and with no peer review – could have played such a crucial role in altering such an important policy decision. How did that happen? One only has to look at the obvious nexus of funding between the UK government, Imperial College and the Gates Foundation to get a possible answer to that question.

Written by Patrick Henningsen

As Europe and North America continue suffering their steady economic and social decline as a direct result of imposing “lockdown” on their populations, other countries have taken a different approach to dealing with the coronavirus threat. You wouldn’t know it by listening to western politicians or mainstream media stenographers, there are also non-lockdown countries. They are led by Sweden, Iceland, Belarus, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan. Surprisingly to some, their results have been as good or better than the lockdown countries, but without having to endure the socio-economic chaos we are now witnessing across the world. For this reason alone, Sweden and others like them, have already won the policy debate, as well as the scientific one too.

Unlike much of the rest of the world who saw fit to unquestioningly follow China’s lead on everything from quarantining, to economic shutdowns, to contact tracing, and PCR mass testing, nonlockdown countries have instead opted for a somewhat lighter touch – preserving their economies and societies, and in doing so avoiding an endless daisy chain of new problems and obstacles deriving directly from the imposition of brutal lockdown policy.

On the European front, the Scandinavian country of Sweden is now garnering more attention than before, and has become an object of both criticism and fascination for those against or in favor of lockdown policy. While countries like the United States and Great Britain continue to top the global tables in terms of COVID-19 death tolls, Sweden has only suffered marginal casualties in comparison, while avoiding the intense strain on society and loss in public confidence which lockdown governments are now grappling with as they continue to push their populations to the limits of social stress and economic tolerance. You could say those governments are already careening over the edge by looking at the latest jobless figures coming out the US with 30 million new people filing for unemployment in the last few weeks.

Unlike many others, Sweden has not enforced any strict mass quarantine measures to contain COVID-19, nor has it closed any of its borders. Rather, Swedish health authorities have issued a series of guidelines for social distancing and other common sense measures covering areas like hygiene, travel, public gatherings, and protecting the elderly and immune compromised. They have kept all preschools, primary and secondary schools open, while closing college and universities who are now doing their work and lectures online. Likewise, many bars and restaurants have remained open, and shoppers do not have to perform the bizarre ritual of queuing around the block standing 2 meters apart in order to buy groceries.

According to the country’s top scientists, they are now well underway to achieving natural herd immunity. It seems this particular Nordic model has already won the debate.

Because Sweden decided to follow real epidemiological science and pursue a common sense strategy of herd immunity, it doesn’t need to “flatten of the curve” because its strategic approach has the added benefit of achieving a much more gradual and wider spread.

Anders Tegnell, Sweden’s government advisor for epidemiology explains, “We are all trying to keep the spread of this disease as low as possible, mainly to prevent our healthcare system from being overstretched, but we have not gone for the complete lockdown. We have managed to keep the number of cases low enough so the intensive care units have kept working and there has always been 20 per cent beds empty and enough protective equipment, even in Stockholm, where there has been a huge stress on healthcare. So in that way the strategy has worked.”

Similarly, it doesn’t have the deal with the newest “crisis” obstacle which lockdown states seem to be using as an excuse not to reopen society and the economy, which the fear of a “second peak” which governments are telling the public will wreak havoc on the nation by “infecting the vulnerable” and will “overwhelm the health services” if everything is suddenly reopened and social isolation and distancing is relaxed.

This catch-22 which countries like the US and UK are caught in is predicated on the belief that the coronavirus might suddenly unleash itself again on the populace. Certainly, there could be a second surge, but it should be noted that this is also a direct result of the decision to impose lockdown in the first place. According to top epidemiologist Dr Knut Wikkowski, the decision to lockdown only delayed the inevitable for countries like the US and UK, and quite possibly made the COVID-19 problem even worse than it would have previously been in the short to midterm, but in the long-term the results would be relatively the same proportionally in term of human casualties.

The penny should have really dropped after it was revealed two weeks ago by Oxford Professor Carl Heneghan, Director for Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine, that the peak of the UK’s coronavirus “crisis” actually came a full week before Boris Johnson initiated lockdown on March 23rd.

In fact, if you plug in Sweden’s actual data into Neil Ferguson’s own infamous computer model which sent the UK government into mass-panic mode, here’s what you would get:

The numbers don’t lie, but statistics can be made to tell any story the narrator wants, especially when the storyteller is government. Just look at the last 50 years of announcements regarding unemployment and inflation levels. One thing we should have learned by now is that government will never let things like facts and real science get in the way of a slow motion train wreck in progress, hence you can see some UK officials still clinging to Ferguson’s initial prediction as some sort of “proof” that the lockdown was necessary to avoid “mass death.”

Outside of popular supposition and media talking points, there is no scientific study which shows that lockdown saved any significant number of lives. Instead, new data strongly suggests quite the opposite.

Powered by Gates Foundation Cash, MIT Develops ‘Tattoo ID’ Tracking Who Has Had Vaccinations – LewRockwell

Posted by M. C. on December 26, 2019

Sputnik News

The invisible “tattoo” is a pattern made up of tiny semiconducting crystals that reflect light and thus glows under infra-red light. The pattern will be delivered alongside the vaccine into the skin via hi-tech dissolvable microneedles made of a mixture of polymers and sugar.

MIT researchers have struck on a novel, and for many surely unsettling, method of keeping track of who has and hasn’t had a particular vaccination – creating an ink that can be safely embedded in the skin alongside the vaccine itself, and only visible using a special infra-red application.

“In areas where paper vaccination cards are often lost or do not exist at all, and electronic databases are unheard of, this technology could enable the rapid and anonymous detection of patient vaccination history to ensure that every child is vaccinated,” MIT researcher Kevin McHugh said in a statement.

Strikingly, the research was funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation – in fact, the project came about following a direct request from the Microsoft founder himself, who has been personally and somewhat controversially involved in efforts to eradicate polio and measles via vaccinations worldwide.

The system has been practically trialled by MIT researchers on rats, with the embryonic patterns still detectable nine months after injection – on human cadavers, the patterns outlasted five years of simulated Sun exposure.

“It’s possible someday this ‘invisible’ approach could create new possibilities for data storage, biosensing, and vaccine applications that could improve how medical care is provided, particularly in the developing world,” MIT professor and senior author Robert Langer said.

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation came under intense criticism for a vaccination project in India in 2009.

During the year, several schools for tribal children in Telangana became sites for observation studies for a cervical cancer vaccine, which was administered to thousands of girls aged nine – 15. The test subjects were administered Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) vaccine Gardasil in three rounds under the supervision of state health department officials. In all, 16,000 girls in the district, many of whom stayed in state government-run hostels meant for tribal students – months later, many started falling ill and by 2010 five died.

A standing committee on health and family welfare that investigated the studies in India tabled its report in 2013, finding consent for conducting the studies wasn’t properly secured, in flagrant violation of medical norms – in many cases, children gave ‘fingerprint’ consent for the tests despite having no idea about the nature of the disease or the vaccine. In others, consent forms were simply not secured at all.
