The Pentagon Wants to Bring Mind-Controlled Tech To Troops

Posted by M. C. Fox on July 17, 2018

government mind-reading and mind-control, Emondi told Nextgov that won’t be the case…

I believe ‘government scientists’…won’t give it another thought.

Today, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency is selecting teams to develop a “neural interface” that would both allow troops to connect to military systems using their brainwaves and let those systems transmit back information directly to users’ brains…

While those capabilities might fuel conspiracy theories about government mind-reading and mind-control, Emondi told Nextgov that won’t be the case—scientists are only beginning to figure out how the brain’s 100 billion neurons interact, so controlling those interactions is next to impossible. Instead, he said it’s better to think of N3 technology as means to use to a computer or smartphone without a mouse, keyboard or touch screen…

Deep Fakes Versus Deep State: What to Do When You Can’t Tell What’s Real | The Daily Bell

Posted by M. C. Fox on May 4, 2018

We are distracted by the things which we cannot affect, and let go of the things which we can actually control.

By Joe Jarvis

The arms race has started: deep fakes versus tech that exposes them. The only problem is that the technology that will supposedly tell us what is real and what is not… was created by DARPA.

DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) is the government agency responsible for the developing things like killer robots, artificial intelligence, swarms of tiny drones, and even experiments with mind reading technology. And those are just the projects we know about.

“Deep fakes” usually refer to videos that have been altered to make it look like someone said or did something they did not. For instance, celebrities heads have been realistically attached to porn star bodies, so that it looks like the celebrity is starring in a porn film. Videos have also been created of politicians saying ridiculous things. Read the rest of this entry »

10 More Crazy Conspiracy Theories That Became Conspiracy Facts

Posted by M. C. Fox on May 22, 2017

(ANTIMEDIA) Generally speaking, conspiracy theories form where there is a vacuum of verifiable facts associated with a controversial, usually tragic event. The concept has evolved over the years and is a part of our popular culture. There are legions of conspiracy theorists and “truthers” who have devoted their lives to certain theories, and there are legions of skeptics who have devoted their lives to debunking those theories. All the while, conspiracy theories of every stripe and variety festoon the footnotes of history. Even the origin of the phrase itself is subject to conspiracy theory, as some researchers have argued that the CIA invented and promulgated the term in order to marginalize fringe thinkers and neutralize investigations.

The internet has obviously had a profound effect on conspiracy theories, simultaneously helping and hurting the cause. While a world of information is at people’s fingertips, so too are alternate worlds of manufactured propaganda. While the Internet may appear to be a democratized, unfiltered path toward facts and truth, it is easily manipulated. Powerful corporations pay a lot of money to have their dirty laundry buried in the search results underneath contrived puff pieces.

Did a Hacker Hit Michael Hastings’ Exit Button? Update

Posted by M. C. Fox on July 25, 2013

Some high-tech types with the help of the super secret government organization DARPA have shown us how cars taken be taken over by remote control.  See here.

This doesn’t confirm any suspicions but it does confirm the government knows how to control a steering wheel and accelerator.

These tests were with an escape and a prius.  Michael Hastings was driving a Mercedes.  It could be just as vulnerable and, now that I think about it, a lot less likely to spontaneously explode. Read the rest of this entry »

Michael Hastings the star reporter who told us of the incompetence and ladder climbing ability of Stanley McCrystal dies in a “one car” crash.

His (infused with government mandated safety) car bursts into flame and is completely destroyed. According to this eye-witness account the engine and transmission landed 50 feet away.
