But two Central Intelligence Agency officials claimed NUMEC’s true purpose was to amass and divert US government-owned highly enriched uranium into Israel’s nuclear weapons program.
NUMEC (Apollo PA) workers and town residents, exposed to radiation levels hundreds of times higher than health standards allowed, continue to suffer fallout and death from NUMEC.

In 2015 the intelligence community acknowledged that it had a “duty to warn” U.S. persons of impending threats of “serious bodily injury.” The objective of that “duty” – which has many loopholes – is to compel intelligence agencies to warn individuals or organizations of threats so they can take evasive measures. It affirms a moral obligation intelligence agencies have to those funding – willingly or not – their operations. The duty to warn demands they no longer stand idly by – or worse attempt to exploit credible threats to Americans – as leverage or for other, secret intelligence purposes…
NUMEC was launched and managed by Zalman Shapiro, a nuclear chemist credited with solving engineering issues for naval nuclear propulsion in the 1950s. His partner, David Luzer Lowenthal was a smuggler with murky ties to Israeli intelligence Read the rest of this entry »

Especially chilling, the US Department of Education recently adopted a new definition of anti-Semitism, one that equates any criticism of Israel with a hatred of Jews.
USDOE as a government propaganda machine.

Katherine Franke
There are signs that we’ve reached a tipping point in US public recognition of Israel’s suppression of the rights of Palestinians as a legitimate human rights concern. Increasingly, students on campuses across the country are calling on their universities to divest from companies that do business in Israel. Newly elected members of Congress are saying what was once unsayable: that perhaps the US should question its unqualified diplomatic and financial support for Israel, our closest ally in the Middle East, and hold it to the same human rights scrutiny we apply to other nations around the globe. Global companies such as Airbnb have recognized that their business practices must reflect international condemnation of the illegality of Israeli settlements in the West Bank. Natalie Portman, Lorde, and other celebrities have declined appearances in Israel, acknowledging the call to boycott the Israeli government on account of its human rights violations. And The New York Times published a column arguing, with unprecedented forthrightness, that criticism of ethno-nationalism in Israel (for example, defining Israel exclusively as a “Jewish state”) isn’t necessarily anti-Semitic.
At the same time, discussions on college campuses about the complexities of freedom, history, and belonging in Israel and Palestine are under increasing pressure and potential censorship from right-wing entities. In fact, new policies adopted by the US and Israeli governments are intended to eliminate any rigorous discussion of Israeli–Palestinian politics in university settings. Not since the McCarthyite anti-Communist purges have we seen such an aggressive effort to censor teaching and learning on topics the government disfavors… Read the rest of this entry »

Margolis makes decimating Iranian infrastructure sound quite easy. It may be, but infrastructure may be all the US can do as we have depleted ourselves fighting 6 or 8 wars in the ME and Africa.
Israel and SA will be sure the US does it’s unfair share of the heavy lifting.
Iran’s landscape is forbidding like Afghanistan, only there is a lot more. There is a reason Afghanistan is called the graveyard of empires.
The US has been in the ME for 17 years with no success and no end in sight. We have not won a real war since 1945 and Russia took most of that heat.
Now we are going to take on Iran. The ally of China and Russia.
This is what the 1953 CIA overthrow election interference of the Iranian government has wrought.
The only winner is the military/industrial/bankster complex. War is nothing more than a racket.

Hasbara is today the preserve of the converted: right wingers talking to rightwingers.
Like the settlers on Palestinian land. They are a force that even Netanyahu fears.
At least Israel can always rely on its AIPAC powered minions in the US-congress.
Hasbara is dead
Philip Weiss
Maybe it was when Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel would respond to flaming kites from Gaza with an “iron fist.” Or maybe when 13 senators bucked the Israel lobby to call for an easing of the siege on Gaza. Or maybe when five young American Jewish women walked off their “Birthright” trip saying they needed to see the occupation.
Or maybe it was the election in a New York Democratic congressional primary of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez even after she described Israel’s actions in Gaza as a “massacre.” Or maybe it was the two Israeli government ministers who issued statements justifying the deportation of an American who supports boycott against Israel, with one minister saying, “This is a Jew who tried to abuse this fact.”
Hasbara has died. Read the rest of this entry »

The Isreali’s are certainly a flexible bunch.

Israeli arms are being sent to a heavily armed neo-Nazi militia in Ukraine, The Electronic Intifada has learned.
Azov Battalion online propaganda shows Israeli-licensed Tavor rifles in the fascist group’s hands, while Israeli human rights activists have protested arms sales to Ukraine on the basis that weapons might end up with anti-Semitic militias. Read the rest of this entry »

What accounts for the lack of popular American support for an investigation into the shootings? The Israel lobby’s quest for unconditional US government support has been well-funded and ably pursued – through licit and illicit means – since long before Israel was established in 1948. Today the Israel lobby’s campaign finance network instantly imperils the career of any American politician who fails to parrot pro-Israel talking points and Israeli government positions. Clandestine cutouts conduct espionage and covert operations with utter impunity against US industries, associations and activists who meaningfully challenge harmful Israeli actions.
The Israel lobby’s long-term media manipulation has been particularly effective….

The ultimate peace deal for Netanyahu is the annihilation of Palestinians.
Why do we put the desires of terrorist Sunni nations, like Saudi Arabia, over shia countries that have never attacked US?
Is it because Bibi runs the show? You know Bibi, he is the guy that said there is undeniable proof Iraq had chemical and biological weapons.

In the last year, relations between Israel and the Gulf states have grown warmer and deeper.
Why it’s happening: Much of it has to do with the alignment in interests over the Iranian threat, but the Trump administration’s efforts to promote a Middle East peace deal and get the Sunni states and Israel to work together have also been a factor…. Read the rest of this entry »

An Israeli intelligence entity called “Black Cube” targeted Obama administration officials such as former foreign policy advisor Ben Rhoads and outside experts, such as the National Iranian American Council’s Trita Parsi, that advocated for passage of the JCPOA known as the “Iran nuclear deal.” Though most media reports reference Black Cube’s self-designation as a “private intelligence company” while noting it employs former Mossad officers, there are reasons to doubt it is entirely unconnected from the Israeli government, which wanted to undermine the JCPOA. Israeli spy Shai Masot, secretly recorded in an Al Jazeera undercover video, freely admitted Israel was setting up just such private corporations to clandestinely do its bidding. While not solely responsible for the Trump Administration’s decision to ditch the JCPOA, Black Cube’s intelligence operation clearly tried to inch the US closer to open military conflict with Iran, which could cost countless lives and trillions of dollars…

Will Russia finally wake up and stop inviting more dangerous situations by her extraordinary indecisiveness? If Putin doesn’t put his foot down, he is going to get us all killed.

We can now dismiss all hope that Trump’s campaign promises to pull out of Syria, normalize relations with Russia and stop the offshoring of American jobs will ever become US policies. By dishonoring the US government’s word and pulling out of the Iran nuclear non-proliferation agreement, an agreement signed by the US, UK, France, Germany, Russia, China, and Iran, President Trump has revealed that his regime is totally in the hands of the Zionist warmongers. The Saker says that “Americans should ask themselves—Do I want to die for Israel?” https://russia-insider.com/en/americans-should-ask-themselves-do-i-want-die-israel/ri23382

Only a few days remain before Trump announces whether he is pulling the US out of the multi-nation agreement with Iran. Iran has kept the agreement. https://www.geopolitica.ru/en/article/message-iran
Even Washington’s vassals—UK, France, Germany—have announced that they are sticking with the agreement.

So where is the pressure on Trump coming from to destroy the carefully negotiated agreement in which Iran agreed to forgo development of nuclear weapons?
It comes from Israel and Israel’s American Fifth Column—the neoconservatives. Read the rest of this entry »
