Rand Was Right…Fauci Lied

Posted by M. C. on October 21, 2021

In a letter to a Member of Congress yesterday the Principle Deputy Director of the National Institutes of Health admitted that his agency – contrary to Fauci’s claims – did fund gain-of-function research on bats and viruses. Over to you, Fauci… Also today: “Boosters! Get yer boosters here! All ages, all sizes!” And…DeSantis stands up to the tyrant heading the DoJ (sic).

Gain of function was done through a third party as Obama was against gain of function. This raises the distinct possibility this pandemic was the result of a viral leak due to the Fauci approved research.

What use could gain be other than bioweaponry?

FOIA Release: Fauci Funded Construction Of ‘Chimeric Coronaviruses’ In Wuhan | ZeroHedge

When Dr. Anthony Fauci confidently screamed at Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) in Julycalling him a liar for accusing him of funding so-called “Gain-of-Function” (GoF) research in Wuhan, China to make coronaviruses more transmissible to humans, the argument ultimately fadeddue to Fauci’s unsupported claim that the research didn’t technically fit the definition of GoF.

Now, thanks to materials (here and here) released through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit by The Intercept against the National Institutes of Health (which were unredacted enough to toss Fauci under the bus), we now know that Fauci-funded EcoHealth Alliance, a New York-based nonprofit headed by Peter Daszak, was absolutely engaged in gain-of-function research to make chimeric SARS-based coronaviruses, which they confirmed could infect human cells.

While evidence of this research has been pointed to in published studies, the FOIA release provides a key piece to the puzzle which sheds new light on what was going on.

This is a roadmap to the high-risk research that could have led to the current pandemic,” said Gary Ruskin, executive director of U.S. Right To Know, a group that has been investigating the origins of Covid-19 (via The Intercept).

And as Rutgers University Board of Governors Chemistry Professor Richard H. Ebright notes, “The documents make it clear that assertions by the NIH Director, Francis Collins, and the NIAID Director, Anthony Fauci, that the NIH did not support gain-of-function research or potential pandemic pathogen enhancement at WIV are untruthful.

In short, Fauci lied to Congress when he denied funding Gain-of-Function (GoF) research.

“If anybody is lying here, Senator, it is you.”

Ebright summarized The Intercept‘s reporting in a Monday night Twitter thread:

“The trove of documents includes two previously unpublished grant proposals that were funded by the NIAID, as well as project updates relating to the EcoHealth Alliance’s research, which has been scrutinized amid increased interest in the origins of the pandemic.” — Richard H. Ebright (@R_H_Ebright) September 7, 2021

Continued (emphasis ours):

“The trove of documents includes two previously unpublished grant proposals that were funded by the NIAID, as well as project updates relating to the EcoHealth Alliance’s research, which has been scrutinized amid increased interest in the origins of the pandemic.”

The materials show that the 2014 and 2019 NIH grants to EcoHealth with subcontracts to WIV funded gain-of-function research as defined in federal policies in effect in 2014-2017 and potential pandemic pathogen enhancement as defined in federal policies in effect in 2017-present.

(This had been evident previously from published research papers that credited the 2014 grant and from the publicly available summary of the 2019 grant. But this now can be stated definitively from progress reports of the 2014 grant and the full proposal of the 2017 grant.)

The materials confirm the grants supported the construction–in Wuhan–of novel chimeric SARS-related coronaviruses that combined a spike gene from one coronavirus with genetic information from another coronavirus, and confirmed the resulting viruses could infect human cells.

(Recombinant DNA includes molecules constructed outside of living cells by joining natural or synthetic DNA segments to DNA molecules that can replicate in a living cell, or molecules that result from their replication. –Science Direct)

The materials reveal that the resulting novel, laboratory-generated SARS-related coronaviruses also could infect mice engineered to display human receptors on cells (“humanized mice”).

The materials further reveal for the first time that one of the resulting novel, laboratory-generated SARS-related coronaviruses–one not been previously disclosed publicly–was more pathogenic to humanized mice than the starting virus from which it was constructed…

…and thus not only was reasonably anticipated to exhibit enhanced pathogenicity, but, indeed, was *demonstrated* to exhibit enhanced pathogenicity.

The materials further reveal that the the grants also supported the construction–in Wuhan–of novel chimeric MERS-related coronaviruses that combined spike genes from one MERS-related coronavirus with genetic information from another MERS-related coronavirus.

The documents make it clear that assertions by the NIH Director, Francis Collins, and the NIAID Director, Anthony Fauci, that the NIH did not support gain-of-function research or potential pandemic pathogen enhancement at WIV are untruthful.

When asked in the replies where to find specific evidence on GoF research, user @SnupSnus replied:

the same page is also numbered page 11- whoever made all those numberings set us up for lot’s of confusion, “3.3.c humanised mouse experiments” — Simon Lackner (@SnupSnus) September 7, 2021

there is an easy clue; the acknowledgments section of the paper attached in Fauci’s panicked e-mails obtained via FOIA. this is the work “expressing the spike of bat coronavirus SHC014 in a mouse-adapted SARS-CoV backbone”. pic.twitter.com/WbLIGDouRE — counterpopp (@counterpopp) September 7, 2021

Alina Chan, a molecular biologist at the Broad Institute, said the documents show that the EcoHealth Alliance has reason to take the lab leak theory seriously. “In this proposal, they actually point out that they know how risky this work is. They keep talking about people potentially getting bitten — and they kept records of everyone who got bitten,” Chan said. “Does EcoHealth have those records? And if not, how can they possibly rule out a research-related accident?” -The Intercept

In response to inquiries from The Intercept, EcoHealth communications manager Robert Kessler replied: “We applied for grants to conduct research. The relevant agencies deemed that to be important research, and thus funded it. So I don’t know that there’s a whole lot to say.”

Stay tuned, things should get really interesting for Fauci and Daszak in the near future.

So we paid the CCP to develop the virus that they unleashed on the world…Not surprising…The media will probably dig into this now just to avoid the Afghanistan disaster but that’s not going away anytime soon either .. https://t.co/Ud9YKvmrTt — Marco Mazzocco, CFA (@MarcoMNYC) September 7, 2021

To review the history of EcoHealth, Fauci and Gain-of-Function research which we noted in March

In 2014, Peter Daszak, president of New York-based nonprofit EcoHealth Alliance, received a grant from Dr. Anthony Fauci’s National Institutes of Health (NIH) to work with the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) and others to research how bat coronaviruses can ‘evolve and jump into the human population.’

Peter Daszak, president of EcoHealth Alliance

The grant’s initial funding of $666,442 began in June 2014 with an end date of May 2019, and had paid annually to the tune of $3.7 million under the “Understanding The Risk Of Bat Coronavirus Emergence” project. Notably, the Obama administration cut funding for “gain-of-function” research in October, 2014, four months after Daszak’s contract began, while the Wuhan Institute of Virology “had openly participated in gain-of-function research in partnership with U.S. universities and institutions” for years under the leadership of Dr. Shi ‘Batwoman’ Zhengli, according to the Washington Post‘s Josh Rogin.

One of the grants, titled “Understanding the Risk of Bat Coronavirus Emergence,” outlines an ambitious effort led by EcoHealth Alliance president Peter Daszak to screen thousands of bat samples for novel coronaviruses. The research also involved screening people who work with live animals. The documents contain several critical details about the research in Wuhan, including the fact that key experimental work with humanized mice was conducted at a biosafety level 3 lab at Wuhan University Center for Animal Experiment — and not at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, as was previously assumed. The documents raise additional questions about the theory that the pandemic may have begun in a lab accident, an idea that Daszak has called “heinous.”

The grant was initially awarded for a five-year period — from 2014 to 2019. Funding was renewed in 2019 but suspended by the Trump administration in April 2020. -The Intercept

After Rogin exposed diplomatic cables last April expressing grave concerns over safety at WIV, he says: “many of the scientists who spoke out to defend the lab were Shi’s research partners and funders, like the head of the global public health nonprofit EcoHealth Alliance, Peter Daszak; their research was tied to hers, and if the Wuhan lab were implicated in the pandemic, they would have to answer a lot of tough questions.”

In short, Daszak – who has insisted the ‘lab escape’ theory is impossible, and that random natural origin via intermediary animal species is the only answer – has a massive conflict of interest.

@PeterDaszak on Gain of Function-experiments, Dec. 2019:

“You can manipulate them in the lab pretty easily”

“… inserting the spike protein into a backbone of another virus”

“[…] insert these other related diseases and get a better vaccine.”

Furthermore, the biggest clue to SARS2’s zoonotic origins are those closest virus relatives in bat caves in Yunnan, China that have been frequently sampled by various labs over the past decade.

Why not search there first? — Alina Chan (@Ayjchan) March 10, 2021

Does this count as a form of self-investigation?

If you’re charged with investigating data/records that you were a part of, and you tell the rest of the team they don’t need to audit the records because you already know there’s nothing relevant in there and can close the case? pic.twitter.com/9JDPjEMOtr — Alina Chan (@Ayjchan) March 10, 2021

FOIA Reveals That Fauci Lied…Rand Vindicated?

Posted by M. C. on September 7, 2021

As Covid authoritarianism continues, breakthroughs of truth, courage and peaceful resistance abound. A FOIA request has revealed that Fauci lied about funding gain-of-function research. Massive resistance around the world against “vaccine passports” continues on. But there is also plenty of absurdity as the UK vaccines minister said that children could override their parents on getting the vaccines. Don’t miss today’s Liberty Report!

Sen. Rand Paul: Mask mandates and lockdowns from petty tyrants? No, not again. Choose freedom

Resist.

They can’t arrest us all. They can’t keep all your kids home from school. They can’t keep every government building closed – although I’ve got a long list of ones they should.

We don’t have to accept the mandates, lockdowns, and harmful policies of the petty tyrants and feckless bureaucrats. We can simply say no, not again.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi — you will not arrest or stop me or anyone on my staff from doing our jobs. We have all either had COVID, had the vaccine, or been offered the vaccine. We will make our own health choices. We will not show you a passport, we will not wear a mask, we will not be forced into random screening and testing so you can continue your drunk with power rein over the Capitol.

President Biden — we will not accept your agencies’ mandates or your reported moves toward a lockdown. No one should follow the CDC’s anti-science mask mandates. And if you want to shutdown federal agencies again — some of which aren’t even back to work fully — I will stop every bill coming through the Senate with an amendment to cut their funding if they don’t come to work.

No more.

Local bureaucrats and union bosses — we will not allow you to do more harm to our children again this year. Children are not at any more risk from COVID than they are for the seasonal flu. Every adult who works in schools has either had the vaccine or had their chance to. There is no reason for mask mandates, part time schools, or any lockdown measures.

Children are falling behind in school, and are being harmed physically and psychologically by the tactics you have used to keep them from the classroom last year. We won’t allow it again.

If a school system attempts to keep the children from full-time, in-person school, I will hold up every bill with two amendments. One to defund them, and another to allow parents the choice of where the money goes for their child’s education.

Do I sound fed up to you? That’s because I am.

I’m not a career politician. I’ve practiced medicine for 33 years. I graduated from Duke Medical School, worked in emergency rooms, studied immunology and virology, and ultimately chose to become a surgeon.

I have been telling everyone for a year now that Dr. Anthony Fauci and other public health officials were NOT following science, and I’ve been proven right time and time again.

But I’m not the only one who is fed up. I can’t go anywhere these days — from work, to events, to airports and Ubers, restaurants and stores, without people coming up to me thanking me for standing up for them.

For standing up for actual science. For standing up for freedom. For standing against mandates, lockdowns, and bureaucratic power grabs.

I think the tide has turned, and more and more people are willing to stand up. I see stories from across the country of parents standing up to teacher unions and school boards.

I see members of Congress refusing to comply with Petty Tyrant Pelosi.

We are at a moment of truth and a crossroads. Will we allow these people to use fear and propaganda to do further harm to our society, economy, and children?

Or will we stand together and say, absolutely not. Not this time. I choose freedom.

Guess Who Was Called a Crank, and Who’s Now a Covid Hero – LewRockwell

Posted by M. C. on June 24, 2021

Here was the man who, on the House floor in 2001, predicted exactly what would happen with the housing boom and bust. He said the Federal Reserve was replacing the dot-com boom with a real estate boom, which would surely unravel.

He knew Fannie and Freddie’s days were numbered.

Not one other person running for president in 2008 or 2012 had had the first clue about any of this.

https://www.lewrockwell.com/2021/06/thomas-woods/guess-who-was-called-a-crank-and-whos-now-a-covid-hero/

By Tom Woods

From the Tom Woods Letter:

There have been a lot of bad guys over the past year and a half.

But there have been good guys, too.

And there’s something interesting that the two best guys have in common (and it has to do with my subject line for today).

By my estimation, the best U.S. senator — by far — throughout this fiasco has been Rand Paul, and the best member of the House has been Rep. Thomas Massie.

Both have been excellent on lockdowns, masks, vaccines and vaccine passports. Both have pushed back against Fauci. Were it not for Rand, we probably wouldn’t know a thing about gain-of-function research and Wuhan.

Ain’t no way a product of the GOP establishment was going to come out swinging like Rand.

Mitt Romney standing up to Fauci? Don’t make me laugh.

John McCain standing up to Fauci? This is the guy who assured us he was learning about economics because he bought Alan Greenspan’s book — an indication of utter hopelessness if ever there were one.

Most Republican governors were horrendous through this ordeal.

But Rand Paul and Thomas Massie? A+ throughout.

Yes, both men represent Kentucky, but that’s incidental.

The key: both are products of the Ron Paul revolution.

Now let’s recall: when Ron Paul himself was running for president, both the media and the Republican establishment — and, to their eternal shame, some “conservatives” — ridiculed him. He’s a “crank”! We demand someone who will flatter us and speak in platitudes we recognize!

It was embarrassing.

And of course he was right: when the market tried to send people red lights in 2000 and 2001, the Fed turned them all green. So people persisted in the same bad investments, making the eventual crash all the worse, and perpetuating the myths that “housing prices never fall” and “a house is the best investment you can make.” (The 2001 recession is the only one on record in which housing starts actually increased.)

Dr. Paul was withering on the U.S. warfare state, and this of course turned “conservatives” against him. The idea was: we favor limited government, but exporting feminism to Afghanistan and running a world empire? Sign us up!

Not exactly the conservatism of yesteryear, that.

Now, after COVID, perhaps some conservatives are willing to entertain the idea that the whole regime is dangerous and rotten and run by liars, and that that just might also include the people who run the foreign policy.

Incidentally, has anybody been checking in on where Rick Santorum stands on lockdowns? Or the utterly forgettable Tim Pawlenty, whom Sean Hannity promoted? Or any of the other empty suits?

Ron created something lasting. Unlike the suits, he took on rather than aped the establishment. He raised issues like the Federal Reserve that no focus group told him to mention, simply because he considered it urgent for the American public to know about them.

He told a Florida audience that free trade with Cuba was the morally correct position, even though he knew that meant a lot of people would never consider voting for him.

Who else does that?

Who else just honestly tells us his views, and is consistent in those views over a 40-year period?

Even if you disagreed with him on this or that, those disagreements are trivial when compared to the big picture: here’s someone who’s honest, who will stand up against anyone, and who actually is what all the other Republicans only pretend to be?

Yes, it’s that kind of man who inspires a Thomas Massie — and, of course, a Rand Paul.

And Ron himself, on his daily Liberty Report, has been outstanding on COVID from day one.

For old times’ sake, here’s the TV ad I wrote for Ron in 2012, summarizing his merits in a mere 60 seconds, and which ran on CNN:

And of course, here’s the K-12 homeschool curriculum I created 400 videos for at Dr. Paul’s request:

http://www.RonPaulHomeschool.com

The man is a hero, and his anti-establishment stance — the very thing that got him called a “crank” — has now been vindicated a thousand times over.

Sen. Paul Attacked Again…Left Wing Twitter Encourages Violence

Posted by M. C. on May 25, 2021

Twitter approved death threat

Just days after a formerly famous singer sent a Tweet encouraging more violence on Sen. Rand Paul, a package with a suspicious substance and a death threat was delivered to the Senators hours. Twitter has not banned or even restricted the violent Tweet…or others that followed it. Also today AOC is in therapy – you’ll never guess why. BLM flags to hang at US Embassies overseas. Hypocrisy over Belarus forcing down plane over its airspace.

‘Fauci Under The Bus?’ – RPI 23 May Update

Posted by M. C. on May 24, 2021

We know now that Fauci was up to his eyebrows in funding gain-of-function research on evil viruses – to make them even more deadly! Most sane people wonder, who would want to do such a thing?

As we predicted recently, events are going down in an accelerated manner. Politicians are not risk-takers (aside from the exceptions like Sen. Rand and RPI Advisor Rep. Thomas Massie). The Berlin Covid Wall is falling.

https://mailchi.mp/ronpaulinstitute/fauci?e=4e0de347c8

Melting Icarus – A Cautionary Tale Dear Friends:

For the past 13 or so months there has been no single person more associated with the Covid-19 panic, lockdowns, mask orders, and all-around rise of a “public health” authoritarian religious cult than Director of the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases – and President Biden’s chief Covid advisor – Dr. Anthony Fauci. It was Fauci, armed with apocalyptic computer death models that turned out to be perhaps the greatest modeling failure of all time – from the UK’s chief fabulist Neil Ferguson – who convinced then-President Trump last April to embrace the “lockdown” model to address the rising cases of a new SARS virus called “Covid-19.”

The idea of locking down healthy people to combat a virus has never been even seriously suggested in all of history.

Trump was highly skeptical of shutting down the country on the advice of Fauci – he even personally told Dr. Paul in a private telephone call (as Dr. Paul revealed on an episode of the Liberty Report) – but, as too often in his four years, he tossed aside his better instincts in favor of what he thought would be a politically expedient substitute. The rest is history, as every day it becomes more obvious that the emergence of a new virus was just the ticket his political opponents needed to toss a Molotov cocktail into the juggernaut called “Trump 2.0.”

He stepped blindly into the trap sprung for him, like a total dope.

Suddenly what seemed to most Americans a booming economy, a rare quadrennial of no new wars, even to some a flag-waving “America First” resurgence, descended into a hell of lost jobs (except for those, concentrated among the “blue” political classes, who could continue earning from home in their pajamas), confusion, disorientation, suspicion, and finally lockdown and a new, unelected regime of “public health professionals” who more closely resembled Pharisees than public servants.

These demons shut America’s churches down because that’s where the people not indoctrinated into the covid cult congregated.

Question their “science” and risk a trip to metaphorical Calvary. You’re fired!

But the wind is changing directions. As we remember from the great Mary Poppins…”Winds in the east, mist coming in, / Like somethin’ is brewin’ and bout to begin. / Can’t put me finger on what lies in store, / But I fear what’s to happen all happened before.”

Blowin’ in from the east earlier this month was Senator Rand Paul, who deserves a hero of freedom medal for being the one person most in the position – and more importantly taking advantage of that position at considerable political risk – to utterly expose the false messiah Anthony Fauci. In ten minutes of cross-examination, Senator Paul  defenestrated Saint Fauci.
https://youtu.be/sHLPyu7wBb0
Taking off from this Fox News exchange, as I said recently on the Ron Paul Liberty Report, wouldn’t it be the ultimate irony if the one person most responsible for the escape of a “juiced up” virus from a lab he funded in China has been the patron saint of the new covid cult religion, credited for being the great Conquistador fighting against a worldwide pandemic crisis that was his own doing?

We know now that Fauci was up to his eyebrows in funding gain-of-function research on evil viruses – to make them even more deadly! Most sane people wonder, who would want to do such a thing?

As we predicted recently, events are going down in an accelerated manner. Politicians are not risk-takers (aside from the exceptions like Sen. Rand and RPI Advisor Rep. Thomas Massie). The Berlin Covid Wall is falling.

Trader Joe’s, Costco, and even Whole Foods and Ikea (!) see the writing on the wall (dropping mask orders) and though they are despicable cowards they are also survivors. I share with all of you that attraction to revenge. Fauci and every single blue state (and many red state) governors deserve to rot in prison for murder and mayhem. And some of them may do so…

But we must sometimes savor revenge as a cold dish, viewed as the smoke of a past battle in the distance. We are slowly winning, as painful as it may be.

I know all of our friends understand how Ron Paul and the Ron Paul Liberty Report have been on the liberty side of this issue from the very beginning. While DC Beltway “libertarian” frauds were sucking up to the new cult by making the “libertarian” argument for vaccine passports, Ron Paul was declaring vaccine passports a RED LINE for anyone who values freedom and liberty!

Behind the lines this past year you would not believe the pressure on us to bite our tongues. To pull our punches. To not give you the truth as Dr. Paul has been doing since 1974. It has been terrifying for us, particularly facing the prospect of losing the third of a million subscribers we have struggled daily to build up.

We knew we could be cancelled anytime. Several of our Liberty Reports were taken down by YouTube for daring to contradict the CDC on mask mandates. Until just last week the CDC itself contradicted itself on mask mandates. You don’t get any points for being right all along.

Much of our energy this past year was spent in negotiations with alterative social media sites who assured us they would never do us as wrong as YouTube and the other big sites. For whom we’ve no doubt made hundreds of thousands in commissions.

Dear Friends: You are our valued partners. We are the continuing Ron Paul Movement. It remains alive and well. If this uncompromising movement against the real bad guys is important to you, please understand that we need you as financial as well as ideological partners. I hate to be so blunt, but it’s the truth.

We are in a unique position to amplify your voices far and wide, but without your support we will simply have to shutter the windows…and burn the drapes. It will be over.

We have exciting things happening behind the scenes at the Ron Paul Institute, including a long-overdue revamping of our website. We depend on you for your support on all levels and we appreciate you so very much.

Sincerely yours,

Daniel McAdams

Fauci and the Fed: America’s Technocratic Frauds | Mises Institute

Posted by M. C. on May 19, 2021

Every government agency consists of non-elected officials that (unconstitutionally) pass laws you must obey, demand “fees” (taxes) and otherwise control your life.

Ultimately, what forced the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to break itself from the propaganda of Dr. Fauci were the counterexamples offered by Florida and other open states, which were grounded in science rather than a personality cult.

As the Trump era showed, the problem of these unelected policy czars is not solved simply by a presidential election. They are embedded deep within the structure of the federal government. To reign them in, we either need systemic change or pressure from the states.

https://mises.org/power-market/fauci-and-fed-americas-technocratic-frauds

Tho Bishop

This past March, Dr. Anthony Fauci sparred with Dr. Rand Paul over any public health benefit that came from wearing a mask if one had developed immunity to the virus. In dealing with both a democratically elected senator and a medical doctor, Dr. Fauci was dismissive and condescending. He demonstrated the degree to which he held himself higher than the Senate.

Dr. Fauci was also wrong.

A medical expert in Dr. Fauci’s position losing a debate on the science to an ophthalmologist—even one of Dr. Paul’s great reputation—would itself be enough to declare them a fraud.

But Dr. Fauci is much worse than a fraud; he is a technocrat. He doesn’t see himself as simply someone to explain “the science” of the virus but appointed himself a covid czar. He leveraged the corporate press’s personality cult and used it to manipulate the public to behave the way he wanted them to behave.

He prioritized control over presenting the science.

He also has no shame in doing this. He has repeatedly boasted about it to his devoted followers in the media.

For example, this morning, Fauci explained on ABC that his wearing masks indoors was about optics—not science.

I didn’t want to look like I was giving mixed signals but being a fully vaccinated person, the chances of my getting infected in an indoor setting is extremely low.

This is not the first time Fauci has given himself the authority to act beyond “the science.” Last December, Fauci started changing his claims about the necessary rates of vaccination to achieve a state of postcovid normality. The original aim of 70 percent was moved as high as 90 percent. As Fauci explained to the New York Times:

When polls said only about half of all Americans would take a vaccine, I was saying herd immunity would take 70 to 75 percent…. Then, when newer surveys said 60 percent or more would take it, I thought, “I can nudge this up a bit,” so I went to 80, 85. We need to have some humility here…. We really don’t know what the real number is. I think the real range is somewhere between 70 to 90 percent. But, I’m not going to say 90 percent.

America has subjected itself to a lost year of economically devastating, mentally abusive policies—all based on the authoritarian impulses of a learned ignoramus.

This has also become the norm for Washington’s imperial federal government.

While Fauci’s thirst for the camera has made him an easy target for ridicule, most of the true power of the federal government rests in the hands of similar unelected “experts.” For all the arguments that can be made against democracy, it is in these unelected institutions of power that we have seen the most aggressive expansions of state power in pursuit of the most radical policies.

Take the institution most challenged now by the success of Fauci-ism: the Federal Reserve.

Though he doesn’t make enough television appearances to earn his own progressive prayer candle, Jay Powell has received his own fawning praise from the slice of the corporate press that follows the Fed. Senate Democrats have even begun to push for Biden to keep Powell on board when his term comes up next year.

Outside the Beltway, however, Americans are feeling the impact of inflation. Google searches for “inflation” hit record highs in March, long before the 4.2 percent reported increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI). Perhaps an American consumer seeing their paycheck buy less and less would be comforted by the fact that inflation is precisely what the Fed has been explicitly calling for.

Of course, the consequences of the Federal Reserve’s unprecedented monetary policy go beyond simply the devaluation of money. The Fed’s low interest rate policy has massively increased risk in the financial system by depriving investors—both large and small—of safe, conservative investment options. Doing so has been great for large corporations, which have seen stock prices soar since 2008, both richly rewarding CEOs and subsidizing attempts to purchase smaller potential competitors. Those Americans who just wanted to simply save money, avoid debt, and avoid the volatility of the stock market have been less lucky.

At least they can look forward to funding the bailouts when the collapse of a stock market bubble ends up designating Facebook a systemically important company.

Even better, the Federal Reserve continues to give itself greater and greater authority to expand its mission far beyond monetary policy, with policy aims such as “greening the financial system.”

These bold and aggressive power grabs come in spite of the fact that the Fed’s own actions have repeatedly demonstrated that it has no idea what it is doing. Examples include not only the inability to identify the financial crisis in 2008 but its failure to reverse quantitative easing (QE)—as it repeatedly claimed it could do—and its repeated inability to forecast economic growth. The Fed has gone from one crisis to another, expanding its power, creating new tools for itself, and without any clear or coherent vision or economic theory.

Just like Fauci and the other parts of America’s technocratic class.

As the Trump era showed, the problem of these unelected policy czars is not solved simply by a presidential election. They are embedded deep within the structure of the federal government. To reign them in, we either need systemic change or pressure from the states.

Ultimately, what forced the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to break itself from the propaganda of Dr. Fauci were the counterexamples offered by Florida and other open states, which were grounded in science rather than a personality cult. While it is easier for a state to nullify public health guidelines than it is to separate a state from America’s central bank, we have seen states like Wyoming and Texas take legislative action to promote alternatives to the Fed.

Hopefully, the example of Dr. Fauci will help kill some of the faith in “policy experts” that government schools spend so much time instilling in the public.

Rand Paul “Pages” Fauci With CDC Confirmation That Vaccinated And Recovered Cannot Pass On COVID | ZeroHedge

Posted by M. C. on April 2, 2021

Fauci has repeatedly flip flopped on the efficacy of masks, and has admitted that there is little science behind lockdown restrictions.

Nevertheless, Facui still will not drop the mask charade, even suggesting that the world needs to carry on wearing them into 2022, and that children should be wearing them in order to play together, until they are all vaccinated from the age of 6 months old.

Senator Rand Paul shared video Wednesday of CDC Director Rochelle Walensky announcing that new data suggests vaccinated and recovered people do not carry Covid-19.

Paul directed his comments at White House chief medical advisor Anthony Fauci, writing “paging Dr Fauci:  please end the mask theater now that cdc admits evidence that the vaccinated do not carry the virus.”

In a further post, Paul also shared a study examining T cell responses in people who have recovered from Covid-19.

“T cell immunity after natural infection shown to include variants,” Paul, who is also a physician, noted.

He again addressed Fauci, asking “Do we still need to wear multiple masks after we’ve recovered or been vaccinated?”

The Senator clashed with Fauci a fortnight ago, telling him “You’ve been vaccinated and you parade around in two masks for show. You can’t get it again.”

“There’s virtually zero percent chance you’re going to get it and you’re telling people that have had the vaccine who have immunity — You’re defying everything we know about immunity by telling people to wear masks who have been vaccinated,” Paul charged during the hearing.

Puberty Blockers Now Available In Infant Formula

Posted by M. C. on March 24, 2021

U.S.—In response to an unprecedented avalanche of requests from 3 activists on Twitter, baby food manufacturers have finally announced they will be providing hormone-laced infant formula for transgender babies.

“It’s never too early to transition,” said gender scientist and part-time drag queen Esmeralda Sparklestar. “This will ensure parents can give their trans child the nutrition they need to start transitioning immediately.”

“What is going on here? We can’t do this!” said bigoted Senator Rand Paul, clearly intent on spoiling all the fun with all his phobias. He was quickly kicked off Twitter and Facebook before he could spread any more hate.

The formula will be offered with either estrogen or testosterone depending on which flavor the babies choose between them and their doctor.

Advocates hope this will be the first step towards the next goal: prenatal hormone injections for fetuses.
