How Do These People Get Jobs?

Posted by M. C. on May 27, 2021

Despite overwhelming evidence that the vast majority of children do not become seriously ill or pass on the virus, CDC Director Rochelle Walensky testified before Congress yesterday that they must continue to wear their masks! Even as everyone else is taking masks off. Is this science…or a power trip? Or child abuse?

“No Irish, No Blacks, No Dogs, No Unvaxxed” – OffGuardian

Posted by M. C. on May 22, 2021

When they said ‘there were no plans for ‘discriminatory’ Covid vaccine passports’, they were quietly funding at least eight different vaccine passport schemes since last year.

https://off-guardian.org/2021/05/21/no-irish-no-blacks-no-dogs-no-unvaxxed/

Dustin Broadbery

The government is pressing ahead with its Vaccine Passport and plans for a two-tier society are afoot. The effrontery of those leading the charge beggar’s belief.

When they said ‘there were no plans for ‘discriminatory’ Covid vaccine passports’, they were quietly funding at least eight different vaccine passport schemes since last year.

And that’s just the half of it. We are midway through a Europe-wide feasibility study for the development of a common vaccine passport, launched by the European Commission in 2018.

They would have you believe – they were caught with their trousers down, their policies are proportionate to the emergency as it unfolds, and at all times they operate according to a system of informed consent.

But hang on a minute. Since the onset of SARS-CoV-2, they have played the most astonishing game of deception and manipulation. Cooking the books, fiddling the tills and distorted their official numbers.

They have deliberately plunged society into two camps – skeptics and adherents, compliant and non-conformists.

Last year established the mood for pettifogging anyone questioning the narrative, while those refusing to comply were branded narcissists and psychopaths or denounced as ‘Covid deniers’ – the modern-day equivalent of a Holocaust denier.

This government has polarised the nation on a scale never before attempted, legitimising a particular brand of prejudice and enmity not seen in Europe since the days of the Third Reich. And once the NHS App becomes your ticket to freedom on Monday, they will finally have means to weed out and punish dissidence while rewarding blind faith in authority. No matter how injurious their compliance is to society at large, the silent majority have lost their moral compass.

But it must be understood – this principle of divide and rule is as old as the hills. It was not so long ago that signs hung in the windows of establishments in Britain that read: ‘No dogs, No Irish, No blacks’. The difference today is that it won’t be the colour of your skin, your class, gender or sexual orientation that will condemn you, it will be something far more virulent – your ideology.

That this crucial point has been entirely missed by the chattering classes is astonishing. And despite the most flagrant attempts to marginalise large segments of society, identitarians, the woke brigade and other erstwhile defenders of the most marginalised remain largely unphased. Unless it is to flap their arms in the air over higher rates of vaccine hesitancy amongst ethnic minorities. But the rest of us can go to hell.

Who cares about anyone not from a protected social group, right?

In this bizarre parochial moral imperative, discrimination is only frowned upon if you’re discriminating against someone’s authorised and rubber-stamped marks of distinction, whereas discrimination, of and by itself, is entirely permissible.

These crowd-pleasers would defend their moral high ground by telling you “the unvaccinated are selfishly putting others’ lives at risk”, or that “mask refuseniks are superspreaders”. But hold on a minute. All of this is pure conjecture which, like everything else under the post-COVID sun, has been founded on speculative science and policies pulled straight from the magician’s hat.

Other than taking the government on its word, where is the actual evidence of asymptomatic transmission? Where is the evidence of mask efficacy?

In fact, can someone point me to a single risk assessment for any of these high-risk interventions? But to deny someone entry into an establishment, to prevent them from travelling, shopping, or worse, stepping foot outside of their own bolthole is no moot point. These are very real and tangible forms of discrimination, for no other reason than you personally disagree with their choices.

These people have clearly made peace with the fact that membership to society is now the exception rather than the rule. They labour under some neotribal sense of entitlement – if you’re not with us, you’re against us. Like their neolithic ancestors they take refuge in the herd from an unseen predator threatening their hand to mouth existences. Positioning themselves in the upper echelons of this looming two-tier system, with others equally desperate to get their lives back and ready to submit to whatever ephemeral demands are made of them in return for one coveted free pass to re-enter polite society.

While the rest of us – who will not be spoken for, bribed or coerced – will risk excommunication from the social-balm in defence of our principles.

This loose association of the poorest and most marginalised, conscientious objectors, lockdown skeptics, and anyone with a shred of faith in their god-given sovereignty of being or bodily autonomy will wage a personal crusade of civil disobedience against the tyranny de jour, as Tolstoy, Gandhi and Martin Luther King did before them. For them, braver men have endured far worse for much less.

But what the first group fails to realise is that they are doing the unofficial bidding of another group – the well-healed members of our political establishment to whom the rules do not apply. Who are protected by more exemptions than the rest of us are governed by regulations. And who, at the onset of the pandemic, were not caught with their pants down, as the general population was.

As this group spoke of herd immunity, they quietly struck a £119 million COVID advertising and propaganda deal with one of the world’s biggest marketing companies. Going on to become the UK’s biggest advertiser in 2020.

Just a day before the first lockdown, their Scientific Pandemic Insights Group on Behaviours (SPI-B) began work on the most criminal propaganda campaign in British history:

Biden Says ‘Rule Is Simple”: Get Vaccinated Or Wear A Mask Until You Do | ZeroHedge

Posted by M. C. on May 14, 2021

As businesses and states resort to bribing people to take the COVID-19 vaccine, the benevolent Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in their ever-scientific wisdom is dangling yet another ‘freedom‘ carrot above our heads; those who are fully vaccinated will be able to combat pro-mask Karens by officially easing indoor mask-wearing guidance – just two weeks after they said the exact opposite.

Update (1640ET): Building on the White House and CDC announcement, President Biden tweeted on Thursday that “The new rule is simple: get vaccinated or wear a mask until you do.”

The choice is yours.”

The rule is now simple: get vaccinated or wear a mask until you do.

The choice is yours. — President Biden (@POTUS) May 13, 2021

In other words, if you’re wearing a mask in public you’re now an anti-vaxxer who Biden has told his followers to ‘treat with kindness and respect.’

Update (1430ET): Shortly after AP reported that fully vaccinated people can shed their masks indoors with a ton of exceptions, the White House announced that “If you’re fully vaccinated, you do not need to wear a mask – indoors or outdoors, in most settings.”

Annnnnnnnnd now they’re walking it back. There are exceptions for travel, where masks are still recommended. Sounds like a healthcare exemption, too. — Josh Wingrove (@josh_wingrove) May 13, 2021

CDC Director Rochelle Walensky

According to the Associated Press, “The new guidance will still call for wearing masks in crowded indoor settings like buses, planes, hospitals, prisons and homeless shelters, but could ease restrictions for reopening workplaces and schools. It will also no longer recommend that fully vaccinated people wear masks outdoors in crowds.”

Oh.

So you can lose the mask if you’re going to work or school, but will still need to wear one if you’re around other people indoors, which apparently doesn’t apply to workplaces or schools. Make sense?

The announcement comes as the CDC and the Biden administration have faced pressure to ease restrictions on fully vaccinated people — people who are two weeks past their last required COVID-19 vaccine dose — in part to highlight the benefits of getting the shot.

The eased guidance comes two weeks after the CDC recommended that fully vaccinated people continue to wear masks indoors in all settings and outdoors in large crowds.

Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the director of the CDC, was set to announce the new guidance on Thursday afternoon at a White House briefing.

During a virtual meeting Tuesday on vaccinations with a bipartisan group of governors, President Joe Biden appeared to acknowledge that his administration had to do more to model the benefits of vaccination. -AP

“I would like to say that we have fully vaccinated people; we should start acting like it,” said Utah Gov. Spencer Cox (R) in a statement to Biden. “And that’s a big motivation get the unvaccinated to want to to get vaccinated.”

“Good point,” a fully Biden responded. “we’re going to be moving on that in the next little bit.”

Allan Stevo’s Blatant Lie! – LewRockwell

Posted by M. C. on April 24, 2021

We, as individuals, cause a great burden upon others around us when we do not stand up for what is right.

And it’s not just about saying no to a mask every chance you can. It’s about saying no to everything that does not edify and to do it every chance you can. The mask is a gateway, the mask is training ground, and the mask is a symbol for so much more.

https://www.lewrockwell.com/2021/04/allan-stevo/allan-stevos-blatant-lie/

By Allan Stevo

A reader writes:

Allan’s statement concerning the Kentucky soccer coach, as below, is a blatant lie and discredits his existence in your publications, IMHO….

Lew, Allan’s published statement (below) is ridiculous and a blatant lie!…

“But because of his courage, he is also the father of the only soccer player in the county who plays without a mask.”

I’ve never seen, or heard, on any kids playing soccer with masks on???  He discredits himself and your website with this kind of writing, IMHO!

-An Auburn Observer

———————————————

Dear Auburn Observer,

Mr. Rockwell has forwarded a note to me that you have not seen any kids playing soccer in masks.

I would like to thank you for this note. I have repeatedly told people that my favorite place to write is LewRockwell.com because the readership is diligent about fact checking.

Too Many Student Athletes Are Forced To Be Masked: Zero Is The Proper Number

School-by-school, there has been a debate over the past year on when student athletes should be masked. A quick internet search produced this video of a Kentucky coach speaking to masked players who had just left the field. Or in this image you’ll see a girls soccer player focussed on the ball with a masked face. Or there is the example of this masked Massachusetts team.

The topic of masked student athletes has been an issue across the country: Kentucky, Massachusetts, Arizona, New Jersey, Colorado, and California alike. Rural and urban. Blue areas and red areas both.

The debate should not be school-by-school. Health decisions are to be made individual-by-individual and decided upon by an individual, not by plebiscite.

I Will Not Live In Denial Of The Evil In Our Midst –Will You?

When a father from a well-established soccer family wrote me repeatedly over these past months with his trials and tribulations, I took this matter to heart.

Denial is something the advocates of liberty do not need at this point in history. The horror stories of tyranny we have heard are accurate and only the tip of the iceberg.

The Kentucky soccer father I cited in the original piece has had a difficult year attempting to protect his daughter from the mask mandates. His is not an isolated story.

Don’t for a second think I feel bad for this man though. Comfort is not promised to the righteous. Ease is not promised. A light burden is not promised. If you want to do righteous work, you are sometimes going to have to put your back into it. What I feel bad about is that every decent parent and every decent non-parent alike is not standing by such a person and emulating his example.

I’m blessed to be able to report that so many parents are realizing that simply by standing up and giving the slightest resistance, they are having tremendous success. They are identifying their boundaries, communicating their boundaries, and identifying their boundaries. Done clearly, this process works wonders.

Clarity Goes A Long Way

It’s as simple as being clear: “My daughter will not be putting a mask on for any reason.” That’s pretty clear.

Simply being clear with another person and never wearing a mask again is a lot easier than you may think. It’s hardly a project that anyone needs to literally or metaphorically put their back into.

My retelling of his story, this Kentucky hero, is not a blatant lie. It is the painful truth. Unfortunately, there are children right now running around playing sports with masks on. I suppose the number is in the millions each day. Many parents obediently subject their children to this harmful behavior, that has no provable positive effect and many provable negative effects. The story of this Kentucky hero is a story I have heard over and over again.

I Hear Face Mask Horror Stories Like These Daily & I Hear Many Stories Of Victory

I hear these horror stories daily. Literally daily. Over and over. I wish it were a lie. Even better if it were a blatant lie. I wish all the one-size-fits-all mandates that “brave” and “free” Americans are accepting with the shrug of a their shoulders were not the reality of life.

Shortly after I read your note saying that masked student athletes are a blatant lie, a situation I would far prefer to reality, another reader of these pages sent me a text message on my cell phone at 12:59 p.m., Friday, April 16, 2021:

“I am having an email exchange with my daughter’s AYSO soccer coach, who is a typical mask wearing coward, and he is telling us that masks may be required on the field during the match (not just when players are sitting on sidelines or halftime).  First game is tomorrow. I sent him long message why it’s very unsafe, unnecessary and insane to play sports with a mask covering….”

The rest of the message I will omit.

I spent more than an hour Friday, helping him to navigate this topic.

If you want an address, I can provide you with the address on a given Saturday in which all but one girl will be wearing a mask on the soccer field. Based on what I know of this father, there is no chance his daughter will walk onto the field in a mask.

The True Inheritance You Leave Your Child

What a blessing a father like that is in a child’s life. So few are like that. A daughter of a father like that will have a head start over nearly any peer, a head start that no amount of treasure left as inheritance can match. There are haves and have nots in this world. The greatest haves of the next generation will come from those children whose parents were not cowardly after the Ides of March 2020, but who were diligent about their values, rather than flexible or apathetic.

Not everyone gets to be born into a family like that. Those who do will have an advantage that money simply can’t buy.

I write pieces like this partly because I want to thank those parents. They are truly treasures in the lives of their children.

The People Who Really Matter In This Battle — The Courageous & Righteous — The Rest Are Distractions

I want to encourage parents like them. The world is full of discouragement for loving parents. Not here. Not me. I want parents to prosper. I want their homes to prosper. I want their families to prosper. I want to be among men who will protect their home at all cost, will protect the space around them at all cost, who will walk through the world as men of values, unbreakable values, not as flexible, compliant men of preference. I want to walk among fellow lions.

I want to be surrounded by men like that, so surrounded by them that there is hardly even room for anyone but men like that around me, with my life saturated by fellow men of courage.

The Faucis, Gateses, Cuomos, Newsoms, and Schwabs want parents like that to think differently, to be worn down. To be demoralized.

That won’t happen. Those weaselly folks won’t win. They won’t beat the powerful and righteous men and women who enter my orbit. Such power exists among those who I have been lucky enough to come across this past year. You may have come across similar people, one of the true blessings of the past year, a reordering of society.

I have even more good news. You may not see it yet. I see it clearly. What I see is that those parents are winning. Though righteous and bold parents of courage may tire under the burden at times, they are winning in so many ways and in ways even at times so unpredictable.

Every Regime Falls Unexpectedly

Every regime falls unexpectedly. This is a story repeated throughout history. The stories of the communist regimes that fell in 1989 are full of such anecdotes. On a Thursday, everything is normal. That Friday that regime is gone. Or in another country, on a Monday, the most repressive policy was in place, business as usual. On a Tuesday, the whole thing had just collapsed. You only need to turn on the television to hear how desperate and out of touch with reality the present regime is. I don’t know if they last 4 days, 4 years, or 40 years, but I know that the regime is feeling more out of control than they have ever been.

The Institutions That Have Prospered Have Done So Through Bravery, Not Cowardice

We have the brave to thank for that. We have the courageous. In every institution that is the case, even in the most cowardly institution of the past year — the church. The church had to do nothing more than keep its doors open and keep having Sunday services as it’s been doing for the past two thousand years. Even in that cowardly demographic, we have the small numbers in the church who have lived lives of faith and not fear through 2020 and 2021 as true disciples practicing what they preach. The brave babe made such a difference. Those congregations that have stayed open have prospered.

And in the institution of family, we have parents who have relied on the same truths they knew five years ago. A media narrative doesn’t change the truth. The cowardly deserve so little attention. The brave deserve our full attention, our praise, and our emulation, not our denial of the important battle they wage on the behalf of their family, their crew, their community, but also, whether they realize it or not, a battle they wage on the behalf of all humanity.

The brave have gotten us through this tough time and the brave will secure us victory. Anyone on the sidelines, anyone who puts on a mask accomplishes the very opposite.

Be Decisive & Help Others Carry The Burden, So That We Can Win This Victory Swiftly & Bravely

Rand Paul “Pages” Fauci With CDC Confirmation That Vaccinated And Recovered Cannot Pass On COVID | ZeroHedge

Posted by M. C. on April 2, 2021

Fauci has repeatedly flip flopped on the efficacy of masks, and has admitted that there is little science behind lockdown restrictions.

Nevertheless, Facui still will not drop the mask charade, even suggesting that the world needs to carry on wearing them into 2022, and that children should be wearing them in order to play together, until they are all vaccinated from the age of 6 months old.

Authored by Steve Watson via Summit News,

Senator Rand Paul shared video Wednesday of CDC Director Rochelle Walensky announcing that new data suggests vaccinated and recovered people do not carry Covid-19.

Paul directed his comments at White House chief medical advisor Anthony Fauci, writing “paging Dr Fauci:  please end the mask theater now that cdc admits evidence that the vaccinated do not carry the virus.”

In a further post, Paul also shared a study examining T cell responses in people who have recovered from Covid-19.

“T cell immunity after natural infection shown to include variants,” Paul, who is also a physician, noted.

He again addressed Fauci, asking “Do we still need to wear multiple masks after we’ve recovered or been vaccinated?”

The Senator clashed with Fauci a fortnight ago, telling him “You’ve been vaccinated and you parade around in two masks for show. You can’t get it again.”

“There’s virtually zero percent chance you’re going to get it and you’re telling people that have had the vaccine who have immunity — You’re defying everything we know about immunity by telling people to wear masks who have been vaccinated,” Paul charged during the hearing.

UK Supreme Court Judge Expects People Will Be Forced To Wear Masks, Stay Home For Ten Years | ZeroHedge

Posted by M. C. on March 27, 2021

Is there a climate lockdown in your future?

https://www.zerohedge.com/covid-19/uk-supreme-court-judge-expects-people-will-be-forced-wear-masks-stay-home-ten-years?utm_campaign=&utm_content=Zerohedge%3A+The+Durden+Dispatch&utm_medium=email&utm_source=zh_newsletter

Tyler Durden's Photoby Tyler Durden

Authored by Steve Watson via Summit News,

British former Supreme Court judge Lord Sumption has warned that “social controls” brought about by the coronavirus pandemic may be kept in place by governments for up to a decade.

“It’s politically unrealistic to expect the Government to backtrack now,” commented Sumption, who has been highly critical of the government’s ‘totalitarian’ lockdown policies.

The judge compared the reaction to rationing after the Second World War, which went on for nine years, adding that this time “I think it may be even longer.”

“An interesting parallel is the continuation of wartime food rationing after the last war. People were in favour of that because they were in favour of social control,” he said during a ‘Sketch notes on’ podcast.

“In the 1951 general election, the Labour party lost its majority entirely because people with five years more experience of social control got fed up with it. Sooner or later that will happen in this country,” he added.

Sumption’s warning comes in the wake of Public Health England officials stating that restrictions will remain in place for as long as other countries have not vaccinated everyone, a process likely to take years.

England’s chief medical officer also recently asserted that the pandemic restrictions, which have been in place on and off for a year, have “improved life” for some people.

Despite promising an end to restrictions in June, the UK government yesterday extended emergency COVID laws until October, with Health minister Matt Hancock refusing to say how long they will remain in place after that.

Lord Sumption also noted during the podcast that scientists skeptical of lockdown policies have been “subjected to an extraordinarily unpleasant campaign of personal abuse”.

“I know a lot of people that would prefer not to put their head above the parapet,” He continued, adding:

“From the very moment I started to make these points I began to get emails from politicians who agreed with what I had to say but that they themselves didn’t dare to speak out. That I think is a very serious state of affairs.”

The judge also argued that governments are using the virus politically, noting “They have consistently tried to maintain that the virus is indiscriminate when it is perfectly well-established that it primarily affects people with identifiable vulnerabilities, particularly in the elderly.”

Speaking about the draconian crack down on anti-lockdown protesters, Sumption said “People ought to be entitled to voice their differences (of opinion),” adding “If the only way you can enforce distancing is by beating people over the head with truncheons then it’s not worth it.”

Now that Brits have allowed society to be permanently deformed, with polls routinely showing vehement support for lockdown and other pandemic rules, things are never going to be the same again.

Having allowed the precedent that the government can put the entire population under de facto house arrest on a whim, look for the policy to be repeated over and over again with different justifications that have nothing to do with COVID-19.

As we previously highlighted, one of those justifications will be man-made global warming, with climate lockdowns set to become a regular reality.

The Real Reasons Why Millions Of Americans Will Defy Covid Mandates And Vaccines – Alt-Market.us

Posted by M. C. on March 13, 2021

5) In March of 2020, head of the NIAID Dr. Anthony Fauci had this to say about mask wearing when being interviewed on 60 Minutes:

Right now, in the United States, people should not be walking around with masks….there’s no reason to be walking around with a mask. When you’re in the middle of an outbreak wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better, and it might even block a droplet but it’s not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is, and often there are unintended consequences – people keep fiddling with the masks and they’re touching their face.”

6) On Twitter in February of 2020, the US Surgeon General had this to say about mask wearing:

Seriously people – STOP BUYING MASKS! They are NOT effective in preventing general public from catching #Coronavirus, but if healthcare providers can’t get them to care for sick patients, it puts them and our communities at risk!”

Both the Surgeon General and Fauci later reversed their stance on mask wearing when it no longer suited the control narrative, and are now fervent supporters of enforcing mask mandates. Scientific data continues to show that mask wearing does nothing to stop the spread of Covid.

By Brandon Smith

I suspect a large portion of the public is at least partially aware when they are being pushed or lured into a specific way of thinking. We have certainly had enough experience with institutions trying to manage our thoughts over the years.  Governments and mainstream media outlets in particular have made the manufacture of public consent their top priority. This is what they spend most of their time, money and energy on. All other issues are secondary.

The media does not objectively report facts and evidence, it spins information to plant an engineered narrative in the minds of its viewers. But the public is not as stupid as they seem to think. This is probably why trust in the media has plunged by 46% in the past ten years, hitting an all time low this year of 27%.

Except for pre-election season spikes, mainstream outlets from CNN to Fox to CBS to MSNBC are facing dismal audience numbers, with only around 2 million to 3 million prime time viewers. There are numerous YouTube commentators with bigger audiences than this. And, if you sift through the debris of MSM videos on YouTube, you’ll find low hits and a majority of people that are visiting their channels just to make fun of them.

The MSM is now scrambling to explain their crumbling empire, as well as debating on ways to save it from oblivion. The power of the “Fourth Estate” is a facade, an illusion given form by smoke and mirrors. Bottom line: Nobody (except perhaps extreme leftists) likes the corporate media or activist journalists and propagandists.

One would think that media moguls and journos would have realized this by now. I mean, if they accepted this reality, they would not be struggling so much with the notion that no one is listening to them when it comes to pandemic mandates and the covid vaccines. Yet, journalists complain about it incessantly lately.

In fact, half the media reports I see these days are not fact based analysis of events, but corporate journalists interviewing OTHER corporate journalists and bitching to each other about how Americans are “too ignorant” or “too conspiratorial” to grasp that journos are the anointed high priests of information.

I actually find this situation fascinating as an observer of oligarchy and being well versed in the mechanics of propaganda. The fundamental narrative of control-culture is that there are “experts” that the establishment chooses, and then there is everyone else. The “experts” are supposed to pontificate and dictate while everyone else is supposed to shut up, listen and obey.

Media elitists see themselves in the role of “the experts” and the public as devout acolytes; a faithful flock of sheep. But what happens when everyone starts ignoring the sheep herders?

The other day I came across this revealing interview on CBS news about a poll of Americans showing at least 30% will refuse to take the covid vaccine outright. The interview is, for some reason, with another journalist from The Atlantic with no apparent medical credentials and no insight into the data surrounding covid.

One thing to note right away is that the discussion itself never addresses any actual facts about the virus, the pandemic, the lockdowns, the mandates, or the vaccines. The establishment keeps telling us to “listen to the science”, but then they dismiss the science when it doesn’t agree with their agenda. When is the the mainstream going to finally acknowledge facts like these:

1) According to multiple official studies, including a study from American College of Physicians, the Infection Fatality Ratio (or death rate) of Covid-19 is only 0.26% for anyone outside of a nursing home. This means that 99.7% of people not in nursing homes will survive the virus if they contract it.

2) Nursing home patients account for over 40% of all Covid deaths across the US. These are mostly people who were already sick with multiple preexisting conditions when they contracted covid.

3) The Federal Government’s own hospital data from the Department of Health and Human Services indicates that capacity for hospital beds is ample in the US and that this has been the case for the past year. Covid patients at their peak only took up around 13% of inpatient beds nationally. The stories in the media of hospitals at overcapacity due to covid are therefore inaccurate or they are outright lies.

The Greatest Fear of Those Who Rule Us

Those who seek to rule us are afraid of us. They are afraid we see through them. Worse, they are afraid we might find them and their programs laughable. Were it otherwise, they would resort to reason rather than intimidation, thoughtful dialogue rather than fear mongering.

Rush Limbaugh once said, “I don’t think looking at things through the prism of fear is going to accomplish anything.”

Rush Limbaugh passed away on Ash Wednesday at age 70.

I heard that news on the radio after leaving noon services at my church. At first, I felt a profound sadness and a touch of anger. The past year has thrown a barrage of punches at Americans. For those who loved Limbaugh’s program—I only listened sporadically, but enjoyed myself when I did—this was one more left hook delivered in a bleak season.

Yet as I thought about Rush Limbaugh, I also felt a sense of gratitude. Here was a man who brought a conservative voice to millions in our nation, who inspired other announcers to do likewise, and who worked fearlessly for truth almost until the day he died. Day after day his voice resonated on the air, striving to keep conservatism and common sense alive in our nation.

Limbaugh often encouraged his audience to stand up for their beliefs with courage and persistence. Were he on the radio today, I am certain “no fear” would be part of his message.

Before learning of Limbaugh’s death, I had looked around my church and saw visible signs of fear. Children as young as three were wearing masks as protection against COVID-19. Because of the virus, Pope Francis had asked priests worldwide to sprinkle ashes in the hair of their congregants this Ash Wednesday rather than marking their foreheads with the sign of the cross. The priest and deacon of our conservative parish decided to compromise, dipping a Q-tip into the ashes, using that to make the cross on the forehead, and throwing away each Q-tip after usage.

When I see such things, I no longer know what to think. Are we really to believe that making the sign of the cross with ash-bedecked fingers on the foreheads of parishioners will spread the virus?

For 12 months, we have lived under governments, state and federal, that encourage fear in their citizens. We now have vaccines, but we’re told that even those who have received these immunizations must go on wearing masks and practicing social distancing. We know few children under 18 are in danger of death or even sickness from this virus, yet many of our schools remain closed.

Meanwhile, the federal government would have us believe that an army of insurrectionists is waiting to invade Washington D.C., justifying the walls and wire around the Capitol Building and the thousands of National Guard troops standing by to repel an attack. These measures are ridiculous and undoubtedly make us a laughingstock in many foreign capitols, but as with COVID-19, the government wants us to be afraid.

Others outside the government try to rule by fear as well. It seems that every day college students, corporate employees, bloggers, and anyone else in the public eye must be ever more careful of what they say or write for fear they’ll be targeted by a vicious social media mob.

Evil exists in this world, and its practitioners use fear as one of their primary weapons. In C.S. Lewis’s novel That Hideous Strength, totalitarians seek to establish their “utopia” by use of blackmail, threats, and even murder. Only those who are immune to these tactics possess the courage, strength, and conviction to fight against them.

Here’s one thing we need to keep in mind. Those who utilize fear as a tactical weapon are often themselves afraid. They may make their insouciant pronouncements as if they were confident of their positions, but how else do we explain the troops and walls in our capitol? How else are we to regard the attacks on a president now out of office and banned from social media? How else should we interpret a government that operates by executive orders and fiats? If these aren’t examples of anxiety, fear of failure, unease over their positions, and terror over their illegitimacy, then I’m not sure what is.

We can honor the man and his achievements by standing fearlessly for our principles.

‘This could have been really bad!’ FIERY final lap at Daytona 500 sees 10,000-1 shot McDowell steal 1st ever win (VIDEO) — RT Sport News

It is way past time to canned restrictor plate racing.

It is a joke. NASCAR mentality is a joke. Drivers wearing masks while alone in the open bed of a pickup truck. Grabbing your ankles for PC and government sponsorship. None of the drivers appear the least embarrassed.

Change the cars, change the tracks, do something.

I am already done for the year.

A chaotic final lap crash at Daytona 500 which wiped out race leaders saw 36-year-old veteran Michael McDowell steal through to seal his first ever win at ‘the big one’, after one of the most insane endings to a race ever.

Nascar’s 2021 season opener took place on Sunday with the 63rd running of the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona, Florida and ended with a fiery crash that annihilated race leaders and provided one of the biggest upsets in motor racing history.'This could have been really bad!' With 30,000 fans present, the race was the biggest sporting even since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic began in March, and that crowd bore witness to one of the most chaotic final lap crashes ever seen.

The stunning crash occurred on Lap 200 and took out many of the race leaders including number one Joey Logano and McDowell teammate Brad Keselowski, who was prevented for winning the last of the ‘Crown Jewel’ races he’s yet to take home by finishing a disappointing 13th place.

When the smoke cleared and when the caution flag came out, McDowell was in first place ahead of Chase Elliott, and stole through to seal his first ever NASCAR Cup Series win in 14 seasons and 358 starts, having led the race for the only time after the crash. Fortunately, no one involved in the crash was seriously hurt.

Coincidentally, McDowell, who won the race for Front Row Motorsports, was driving a car sponsored by Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, featuring a love heart on the side of his vehicle, having won the race on Valentine’s Day.

McDowell later wrote of his emotions on Twitter: “Words can’t describe this feeling,” while clutching the Harley J. Earl Trophy.

BUSTED on Hot Mic: PA Gov. Wolf and Elected Crony Laughing About Masks as ‘Political Theater’

In other words, it’s all a game and you’re the butt of the joke.

My fearless leader.

If this video doesn’t get your blood pressure up after months of being forced to wear masks “for your safety,” then you’re probably dead already from the Chinese WuFlu (or at least that’s what the coroner scribbled on your death certificate).

Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf and Representative Wendy Ullman (D-Bad People) were caught on a hot mic giggling about the “political theater” they were about to partake in at a press conference. Wolf is heard telling Ullman he’s going to take off his mask to speak while Ullman responds that she’s going to keep hers on for the cameras to make sure people see her in it. “I’m waiting so we can do a little political theater,” she says, laughing. “So it’s on camera!”

In other words, it’s all a game and you’re the butt of the joke. Enjoy this sh*tshow while I contemplate throwing a brick through a window somewhere.
