All of these things impinge upon your right to ownership of private property, including your own body, which is the primary form of property.
Wearing a mask—whether or not you want to or think it helps—isn’t just about virtue signaling. It also shows whether you’re willing to do as you’re told—whether you’re “politically reliable”, as the communists like to say. It’s like wearing the Party’s armband.
I have no problem if the owner of a bar or restaurant wants to keep me out if I’m not wearing a mask. It’s his property. He makes the rules. I can go elsewhere, where it suits me better. It’s an affront and an imposition on restaurateurs and storekeepers to be told what they and their guests can and cannot do.

by Doug Casey
International Man: Earlier this year, CDC was able to extend its powers unprecedentedly by issuing a nationwide suspension on evictions.
What’s your take on how a public health agency grew to be in the position of telling property owners what they can do on their properties?
Doug Casey: Health paranoia is an excellent method of control. People put their health above almost everything. I’m only surprised it hasn’t been used as a lever up until now. It’s part of a trend toward mass control that has started in earnest early in the 20th century and has been increasing exponentially over time.
First was the income tax. If you didn’t comply, it was not only seen as a legal crime but also promoted as a moral sin. The prohibition of liquor from 1919 to 1933 got under way as a moral failing and then was turned into a crime. It’s the same with the prohibition of some drugs; Nixon started that hysteria in 1971, and it was put on steroids, so to speak, by Nancy Reagan. Next came the war on terror, especially since 2001. These were all promoted with both legal and moral taboos. Everybody is supposed to line up with them shoulder to shoulder, like in one of those old socialist realism propaganda posters the Soviets and the Nazis specialized in. The public is supposed to self-police under the supervision of the authorities, like they did in Salem in 1692.
Public health is the current impetus for mass hysteria and paranoia. All of these things impinge upon your right to ownership of private property, including your own body, which is the primary form of property. The public health angle is potentially the most dangerous and invasive one from the viewpoint of freedom. Busybodies—the type of people who work for and actively support the State—always need an excuse to control others en masse. This pandemic provides an excellent template for the future.
Wearing a mask—whether or not you want to or think it helps—isn’t just about virtue signaling. It also shows whether you’re willing to do as you’re told—whether you’re “politically reliable”, as the communists like to say. It’s like wearing the Party’s armband.
In fact, wearing a mask and social distancing in stores, bars, restaurants, and gymnasiums shouldn’t be up to the government. It should be strictly up to the property owner. Decisions that the individual makes regarding his own health are his own; it’s between the individual and his doctor.
This isn’t, incidentally, about a technical or medical problem. The value of wearing masks, social distancing, and obeying quarantines and lockdowns is questionable at best, as Sweden has shown. The real problem is ethical and that there’s no moral pushback from either the public or the property owners. People are arguing on strictly technical grounds: “Yes, you have a right to tell me what to do, and even close my business. But you shouldn’t because it’s not ‘fair’, or your solutions aren’t optimal”. They accept the busybody’s premises. The argument is over before it even begins. Americans are truly acting like whipped dogs.
Whether the masks, distancing, and the rest of it work or not, isn’t the point. My own belief is they’re at best of marginal value and may well be counterproductive. But that’s beside the point. The point is that it’s immoral and destructive for the State to tell people how to relate to each other.
As for the CDC, it’s just another government bureaucracy concerned with putting itself in the limelight, gaining more power, enhancing its budget, and the number of its employees—and making Fauci, a lifelong but previously insignificant swamp creature, into an international celebrity.
International Man: Currently, over 18 million Americans are currently behind on their mortgage or rent payments.
That temporary suspension on evictions ends December 31st. What do you think will happen next?
Doug Casey: Just as with the financial markets, the government has no alternative but to “do something.” They will—they have to—print more money to keep the rotten house of cards from collapsing on itself.
The Democrats have already said that they want to increase the next stimulus to over $3 trillion. The fact that most of the last round of stimulus was either overtly wasted, went to cronies, or can’t be accounted for, is completely lost on them. They recognize that unless they give a lot of money directly or indirectly to the hoi polloi, there are going to be millions of them on the streets.
Approximately 11 million renters and 4 or 5 million mortgagees are now in forbearance. They’ll be kicked out of their houses and apartments come January 1, barring a huge bailout. Where are those people going to go?
If Obama had made good on his ridiculous promise about shovel-ready projects, there’d be a lot more bridges that they could camp out under. But he didn’t. They have a real problem on their hands. Millions of people have been living above their means and have no savings. At this point, if they let landlords and banks kick all those people out, a number of things will happen. Residential property prices will collapse. Millions of people will be scrambling for somewhere to live. Lots of banks and landlords would go bust.
The longer the government kicks the can down the road, the bigger the inevitable bust will be. The stimulus money will have to continue because Biden doesn’t want it all to come unglued on his watch. The State is not only going to have to pay individuals and business owners that their idiotic policies have busted. They’ll be subsidizing banks, landlords, and utility companies—because you can’t live in a house or an apartment without water and electricity.
It’s worse than that because even if you cover the bare essentials, there’s no money leftover for maintenance. There will be millions of buildings across the country suffering from deferred maintenance. The South Bronx, East St. Louis, and Baltimore will be replicated across the country.
And no one’s talking about how to cover the real estate taxes due on these properties. Many local governments are already bankrupt. Their expenses are going way up even while their tax income collapses. The whole country has painted itself into a corner at this point. That’s what happens when you adopt a collectivist economic policy, as the Soviets, the Chinese, and scores of other countries have discovered.
I’m not sure how they’re going to get out of it because the economy itself has just started to collapse. Of course, they’ll print up more money because they see that as a solution when it’s actually a cause. It’s going to worsen the collapse.
International Man: For the tens of millions behind on their mortgage and rent payments, will their back rent and overdue payments ever be repaid?
Doug Casey: The government will not only have to pay the rent for the future, but it’s going to have to cover landlords’ previously unpaid rent—if they don’t want lots of bankrupt landlords and banks.
It will lead to a guaranteed annual income, which they’ve been thinking about for some time. In some cases, the government will take over properties. It’s nothing new. Most major US cities already have significant public housing. None of it’s good, but most isn’t as bad as Cabrini-Greene or Pruitt-Igoe.
Who knows where this daisy chain will lead? With all the unemployed people who can’t pay their rent, perhaps the government will develop something like national service. Then there will be millions more people working for the government, doing god knows what. It will lead to the socialization of society. Remember, this COVID hysteria is just the pin that broke the bubble. The Greater Depression was already in the cards. Americans will beg the government to cure it, which is guaranteed to make it vastly worse and longer-lasting and invite some charismatic authoritarian to be their savior and take charge.
International Man: Assuming the COVID hysteria and lockdowns are behind us in 2021, what lasting effects could we see taking place?
Doug Casey: It’s going to destroy the restaurant, retail, and travel industries all at once.
Stores, restaurants, and small businesses are always failing—maybe 15% of them annually— and new ones are starting up in normal times. It’s the circle of life. The problem is that about half of these businesses are failing all at once. That makes it much harder to recover.
The economy is a lot like a body. If you burn your finger, it hurts, but you’ll recover. But if you suffer burns on over 50% of your body all at once, it might kill you. That’s what we’re looking at right now.
Commercial real estate is another area that is going to be devastated because a lot of people will continue working at home and prefer it over working in an office.
Who knows what’s going to happen to all that commercial real estate and how it’s going to be repurposed. It’s certainly going to consume a huge amount of capital.
Another area that will change is schools. I would have been happy to have a year off from school because classes bored me. I would have read many more things on my own. But today, most kids don’t read books. Public school kids are lucky to absorb a few things by osmosis.
Now they’re mostly playing video games or are on social media—mostly doing nonproductive things on their computers at home. I don’t know the effect of not being able to associate with other kids.
For most kids, it may be damaging. On the bright side, many parents have decided that school is a waste of time and have started homeschooling their kids. That’s generally a positive thing.
Here’s the important thing, we don’t know how long this hysteria is going to last. People are so scared that they’ll be easy to control for fear of the next real or imagined virus that comes down the road. When people are scared and don’t know what to do, they will want somebody to kiss it and make it better.
So, I expect we’re heading towards a genuine strong man for president in the US, whether that’s Kamala Harris or somebody else. If the 2020 election was bad, the 2024 election would be worse.
Editor’s Note: Unfortunately most people have no idea what really happens when a government goes out of control, let alone how to prepare…
The coming economic and political crisis is going to be much worse, much longer, and very different than what we’ve seen in the past.
That’s exactly why New York Times bestselling author Doug Casey and his team just released an urgent new report titled Doug Casey’s Top 7 Predictions for the Raging 2020s.

It’s hard to say exactly when the article was taken down, but the Wayback Machine shows it to be intact on 25th of June, simply missing from July 2nd-9th, and replaced with the current statement on July 10th.
Fortunately once something is on the internet it is there forever, and you can view an archived version of the article here.
The press is free. Just some are more free than others.
https://off-guardian.org/2020/09/23/is-evidence-masks-dont-work-being-purged-from-the-internet/
The dentistry journal Oral Health Group has removed a research paper from its website which found masks do not work to halt the spread of disease. They claim the paper is “no longer relevant in the current climate”.
The article – “Why Face Masks Don’t Work: A Revealing Review” – has been used as a source before by us before (see here), and was a great collation of all the research studies done on the effectiveness of masks as a disease prevention tool. In general it found the evidence suggested masks have little to no value as infection preventatives.
The author, John Hardie (BDS, MSc, PhD, FRCDC), is a 30-year veteran of dental practice, specialising in infection control. The paper had over 30 references and sources from academic journals and peer-reviewed studies.
The statement itself is worth reading, not for what it says so much as what it doesn’t say:
If you are looking for “Why Face Masks Don’t Work: A Revealing Review” by John Hardie, BDS, MSc, PhD, FRCDC, it has been removed. The content was published in 2016 and is no longer relevant in our current climate.
Note it doesn’t say the work was “inaccurate” or “factually incorrect”, only that it is “no longer relevant in our current climate”. It also doesn’t say if it was taken down at the author’s request, or that he has formally repudiated his work.
This is not the first time evidence that masks don’t work has been removed from the internet.
Dr Denis Rancourt put together an evidentiary review titled “Masks Don’t Work: A review of science relevant to COVID-19 social policy” back in April. It received over 400,000 views on ResearchGate before being removed.
The justification for the removal was that it was “spreading information which may cause harm”.
Again, note the language. Not “false information” or “factually incorrect information” only “information which may cause harm”. Nobody (thus far) is disputing the method of the work, or the accuracy of the findings.
If thorough research “may cause you harm”, what does that really say about you? If truth doesn’t fit the “current climate”…what does that say about our climate?
This is an interesting situation, one that bears further investigation.

The whole narrative is falling apart. New studies every day are proving beyond a doubt that the measures taken worldwide – with a few exceptions – to “fight” what they claimed was a “new” coronavirus have not only failed to slow or stop the disease, they have been counterproductive. It turns out that people develop lasting T-cell immunities, that patients have been successfully treated with T-cells from asymptomatic test-positive cases, and that the virus rarely spreads outside the family setting. What are the authoritarians going to do when it is no longer possible to keep this information hidden? How will they keep people shut down. Plus today: Utah shows a way out of corona-tyranny, big party in Wuhan, they are still cooking the books, and…enemy of the week!

Patriots DO AS THEY ARE TOLD!
Invoking patriotism in the finest tradition of Joseph Goebbels. The ministry of fear reeks of desperation. Government is losing control and the minions come to the rescue.
Immunologist Bill Gates admits his vaccine may only be 50% effective and we may have to pay for…err…take the vaccine 3 times (if it didn’t work the first why would suddenly work the third time).
Even at 50% that means wearing a mask (and goggles as Fauci is intimating- fear, again) is a forever thing.
FOREVER.
Lets be generous and say Gates is fudging a 20-30% effectiveness rate, the same as influenza vaccines.
The number I see floating around is 80% of the infected people show no symptoms. They are now autoimmune. Add the mildly ill that require no medical help, possibly the same percentage that will react badly to the miracle vaccine.
It seems to me that a healthy immune system is 3 or more times MORE EFFECTIVE than virologist Gates’ miracle vaccine.
The main side effect of a working immunity system is good health. Will we say the same about a rushed to the public vaccine?
Next time you see someone wearing a mask as them how much Zinc, Vitamin C & D they are taking. Note the comatose-like blank stare.
There is a reason Gate$, Fauci and their media minion$ don’t talk about our immune systems.
By the way, flu season will soon be upon…oh but wait, influenza seems to have disappeared from the face of the earth.
I wonder where it went.

The issue: World observes Mask Week Our view: Unite to stop virus, save lives
Leading COVID-19 researchers from the University of Washington recently announced a startling forecast: If 95% of people in the U.S.
wore face masks in public, 66,000 fewer people would die of the disease by Dec. 1.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Pandemic Action Network, the Federation of American Scientists, Facebook, Google and dozens of other organizations have come together this week to promote the power of this tool via Mask Week, a time to rally support for face masks worldwide.
We join in this call because we are tired of this pandemic, fearful of the death it deals and want everyone to unite to defeat it.
Think about the veterans, grandparents, doctors, nurses and first responders, the retail clerks, parents, children and college students who have died because of this nation’s chaotic, inconsistent response to this virus. More than 5 million cases nationwide have been identified. In just a few short months, more than 161,000 people have died in the U.S., including 27 people in Erie County.
If we don’t slow the spread, nearly 300,000 Americans are projected to die by December, according to the University of Washington’s Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation.
Yes, we need a vaccine. And no, life can’t come to a complete halt. But we can take simple steps — wear face masks, wash our hands and practice social distancing — to increase safety and stymie the spread of the virus, as other countries have managed. That is especially crucial to protect students and teachers alike as we try to restart schools.
The fact remains that too many people still don’t don masks in public and worse, gather in large groups. On Erie’s east side, where 20% of Erie County’s overall cases have been clustered in a single ZIP code, pastors and community activists say young people are partying unprotected and then bringing the illness home to vulnerable loved ones.
Some conservative lawmakers have hamstrung a coordinated response by recklessly casting mask mandates as an infringement of individual liberty. Perhaps they are, just like all kinds of other infringements, such as seat belts, that we routinely accept in the name of safety.
Some people are being played by misinformation sown on social media that seeks to leverage the nation’s divisions for political ends. And the sad fact is, this pandemic has exposed within us a deep, ugly seam of selfishness.
Masks are not dangerous or ineffective or oppressive. They prevent virus-laden droplets of moisture from the mouth and nose of a person, symptomatic or not, spreading through the air and finding new hosts.
They are one simple method each of us has within our power to fight to recover this nation’s health, prosperity and liberty. Wear one with pride.

There is a problem being masked and I think I have uncovered it.
Behind mask No. 1 Fauci has the fear mongering and face mask covered. Masks. He was agin’m then realized, after a couple decades in the medical busine$$, he be fer’m.
Behind mask No. 2 Eminent (in his own mind) virologist and immunologist Bill Gates can’t wait to get his likely 50% effective (translation: 10-20%) vaccine, you may have to take it 3 time$ (translation: mandatory 3 time$) on the market.
Then when 19 mutates we start vaccinating the world again! Just like we have been doing with influenza for a century. Hey, it’s only your body and your money he is playing with.
Who is behind mask No. 3?
Mark Zuckerberg!!!
Who better to track immunizations, chip implants, digital tattoos, COVID travel passports (no you dont’t have to take the vaccine, unless you want out of your house) than the master of data tracking?
He already has a great head start on the data mining…err..data base. It’s called FaceBook.
Maybe Zuck will read this and step up. It would sure make me feel better.

The Gates and Fauci position, whether they admit to you or not.
This piece is about Alan Dershowitz, who famously said:
“Let me put it very clearly: you have no constitutional right to
endanger the public and spread the disease, even if you disagree. You
have no right not to be vaccinated…And if you refuse to be vaccinated,
the state has the power to literally take you to a doctor’s office and
plunge a needle into your arm.”
If that were true, every declared State of Emergency would be equal.
https://blog.nomorefakenews.com/2020/07/21/dispatches-from-the-war-dershowitz-florida-hustle/
by Jon Rappoport
ONE: ALAN DERSHOWITZ
This is about what the State is permitted to do to citizens under a State of Emergency. For example, the Lockdown Emergency which has driven the national economy over a cliff. The economic ruination Trump refuses to face up to; refuses to talk directly to the American people about; refuses to address with a specific plan for recovery. If a president has any vital function at all, it is to lead in a time of crisis. As in: THIS IS WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE COUNTRY RIGHT NOW, AND THIS IS WHAT I’M GOING TO DO ABOUT IT. Striding down a hallway wearing a black mask for a photo op doesn’t cut it. Standing with corporate hot shots who are ready to go into production of breathing ventilators isn’t a recovery plan. Empowering the military to give COVID vaccinations isn’t a recovery plan. But I digress. This piece is about Alan Dershowitz, who famously said:
“Let me put it very clearly: you have no constitutional right to endanger the public and spread the disease, even if you disagree. You have no right not to be vaccinated…And if you refuse to be vaccinated, the state has the power to literally take you to a doctor’s office and plunge a needle into your arm.”
If that were true, every declared State of Emergency would be equal.
A president could say, “My favorite pagan goddess from Spokane came to me in a dream last night and told me to order every citizen to cut off a pinky finger to avert the danger of infection…”
Nothing in the Constitution forbids a court from judging a particular State of Emergency on its merits. In fact, the Constitution would demand such judgement. Otherwise, the entire basis of limited federal government would be undermined.
And once you open THAT door and argue a State of Emergency on the merits, evidence about vaccines can be presented. Are vaccines truly safe and effective? Are severe adverse effects rare or widespread?
What are the unvarnished facts?
Dershowitz blithely assumes he understands vaccination. He doesn’t. He’s clueless. He simply thinks vaccinations are a standard public safety measure, on the level of hand-washing.
Would he argue that orders to wear masks during a declared State of Emergency are constitutionally impossible to challenge? If non-government experts assert masks are useless?
The “merits of the case,” Mr. Dershowitz. That is the key.
Suppose a government task force reports that 1 out of every 1.5 Americans is developing cancer during his/her life? And then, a moronic president declares a national State of Emergency and orders universal prophylactic chemotherapy for all citizens?
That would be mandatory? That would be constitutionally ironclad?
No court could consider that order on its merits? No one could stand before a judge and argue that the devastating treatment is toxic in the extreme, or that the so-called War on Cancer has been a failure?
If the COVID-19 vaccine turns out to be based on new DNA technology, meaning every vaccine recipient’s genetic makeup would be permanently altered, a legal objection would be ruled out of bounds, because the vaccine is coming on board during a State of Emergency? Really?
To use a highly technical legal term, insisting a State of Emergency overrules the protection of life and the meaning of liberty is bullshit.
The blood and sacrifice of centuries, which led to the writing and ratification of the Constitution, were not made so lawyers or judges could undermine its entire spirit by defending States of Emergency, as if they came from higher and wiser heads protecting the Public Good.
In this case, a mandated vaccine would be a protection RACKET, launched by a remorseless pharmaceutical mafia.
Case closed, Mr. Dershowitz. Meaning the door is wide open to debate the facts and the principles and the truth.
You followed up your famous statement by remarking that you and your family could refuse a COVID vaccine through an act of civil disobedience; but then you would have to accept the penalty.
I wonder how you’d react if that penalty meant your family would be sent to a moldy room in a fleabag hotel in a dangerous neighborhood, to serve out your period of isolation; after which officials would approach you again to take the vaccine.
I think you might reformulate your constitutional opinion about States of Emergency. You might suddenly see a new legal option. You might decide that freedom and liberty are incontrovertible.
You might decide that arguing from past case precedents, when those cases distort the Constitution, is an academic exercise unworthy of an honest lawyer’s time and energy.
You might decide that whatever personal bias actually motivated you to issue your famous statement in the first place was irrelevant.
When trouble visits your own door, when your public pronouncements come around to bite you, you might find a reason to change your tune.
What is legally obvious on the mountain top is not always obvious in the foothills.
In the foothills, people are eating fruit of the poisonous tree, long ago planted in the middle of the Constitution. If you were down there, you would be put on that diet. I think you would then miraculously spot a new legal angle on States of Emergency.
TWO: FLORIDA HUSTLE
Breitbart, July 14: “A FOX 35 investigation released on Monday discovered an inflation of coronavirus cases by the Florida Department of Health. The Sunshine State’s health authorities misreported the number of persons testing positive for coronavirus in its aggregation and publication of test results from laboratories.”
“Twenty-two labs reported 100-percent positivity rates. Two labs reported 91.18-percent positivity rates.”
So…it was a massive coincidence that all 22 labs happened to make the same mistake at the same time.
—On the level of, say, two dozen planes landing five runways to the left of their designated lanes at two dozen different airports on the same day.
Sure.
Toss a coin. Heads, all the tests kits were rigged to read positive for COVID. Tails, all the labs lied.
In either event, the fake COVID monster is fed. It needs case numbers. Desperately. In order to present a false picture of danger.
Thus, justifying the lockdowns, the masks, the distancing, the economic destruction.
Dear Florida Health Department—you’ve done it. I thought real estate cons were the state’s most valuable product. But now I don’t know. You might have jumped to the top of the charts. Read the rest of this entry »

There is one disease the masks protect US against…government.
https://theintercept.com/2020/07/16/face-masks-facial-recognition-dhs-blueleaks/
While doctors and politicians still struggle to convince Americans to take the barest of precautions against Covid-19 by wearing a mask, the Department of Homeland Security has an opposite concern, according to an “intelligence note” found among the BlueLeaks trove of law enforcement documents: Masks are breaking police facial recognition.
The rapid global spread and persistent threat of the coronavirus has presented an obvious roadblock to facial recognition’s similar global expansion. Suddenly everyone is covering their faces. Even in ideal conditions, facial recognition technologies often struggle with accuracy and have a particularly dismal track record when it comes to identifying faces that aren’t white or male. Some municipalities, startled by the civil liberties implications of inaccurate and opaque software in the hands of unaccountable and overly aggressive police, have begun banning facial recognition software outright. But the global pandemic may have inadvertently provided a privacy fix of its own — or for police, a brand new crisis.
A Homeland Security intelligence note dated May 22 expresses this law enforcement anxiety, as public health wisdom clashes with the prerogatives of local and federal police who increasingly rely on artificial intelligence tools. The bulletin, drafted by the DHS Intelligence Enterprise Counterterrorism Mission Center in conjunction with a variety of other agencies, including Customs and Border Protection and Immigration and Customs Enforcement, “examines the potential impacts that widespread use of protective masks could have on security operations that incorporate face recognition systems — such as video cameras, image processing hardware and software, and image recognition algorithms — to monitor public spaces during the ongoing Covid-19 public health emergency and in the months after the pandemic subsides.”…
