NEW YORK—On April 21, 1980, Rosie Ruiz won the fabled Boston Marathon in record time and looked fresh as a daisy when the media descended on her following her crowning with a wreath à la Ancient Greece. Rosie answered all the questions. She loved running, this was only her second marathon, and no, she was never tired or doubtful of victory during the two hours and 32 minutes of the race. The newspapers and the hacks went wild.

Well, the reason for Rosie’s freshness, it later transpired, was that she had entered the race twenty minutes from the finish, having used regular transport to get there from the start…

Rosie has never complained about having to give back the medal, but in a somewhat similar situation, two women, a gray old hag and a gossipy middle-aged one without hair, both of whom were caught cheating, have refused to return their prizes. I am, of course, speaking of The New York Times and The Washington Post, both Pulitzer Prize winners for exposing Donald Trump’s collusion with Russia, something they decided to invent the moment The Donald was elected. And it was as easy as pie. Unlike Rosie, who at least ran for twenty minutes and worked up a sweat, these two old tarts didn’t even bother to go through the motions of investigating… Read the rest of this entry »

Buyer’s Remorse – Kunstler

Posted by M. C. on March 27, 2019

Rachel Maddow…Perhaps she doesn’t know how the justice system actually works in this country: we prosecute crimes not persons. In places like Stalin’s Soviet Union and Hitler’s Germany, you first choose a person to eliminate and then fit them to a crime.

James Howard Kunstler

The Narrative is dead! Long live The Narrative!

That’s what played on CNN, NBC, and The New York Times yesterday as they struggled to digest the parting meal Robert Mueller served to the RussiaGate lynch mob: a nothingburger with a side of crow-flavored fries. Mr. Mueller was careful, though, to leave a nice red poison cherry on top with his statement that “…while this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.”

Mr. Mueller, who ought to know better, could not be more in error on that too-fine-a-point. The official finding that no crime was committed is, ipso facto, an exoneration, and to impute otherwise is a serious breach of his role in this legal melodrama. Prosecutors are expressly forbidden to traffic in defamation, aspersion, and innuendo in the absence of formal charges. So, it will be interesting to hear what Mr. Mueller has to say when Jerrold Nadler reels him into the House Judiciary Committee, as inevitably he will, to do to some ‘splainin.’

What actually happened with RussiaGate? A cabal of government officials colluded with the Hillary Clinton campaign to interfere in the 2016 election and, failing to achieve their desired outcome, engineered a two-years-plus formal inquisition to deflect attention from their own misconduct and attempt to overthrow the election result.

The Cable News characters, quite a few of them lawyers, were litigating the living shit out of the story on Sunday night in their usual spirit of obdurate rank dishonesty. For instance, Jeffrey Toobin, who plays Attorney General on CNN, went off on the infamous 2016 Trump Tower Meeting in which the president’s son, Donald, Jr., met with Russian lawyer Natalia V. Veselnitskaya. Toobin omitted to mention that Ms. Veselnitskaya was, at that very time, on the payroll of Fusion GPS, Hillary Clinton’s “oppo” research contractor. In other words, Trump Junior was set up.

That was characteristic of the collusion that actually occurred between the Hillary campaign, the FBI, the DOJ, the CIA, the NSA, the UK’s MI6 intel agency, and the Obama White House, striving to prevent the election of a TV reality show star, and to disable him afterwards — also of the news media’s role in the whole interminable scam of RussiaGate. Their fury and despair were as vivid the night of March 24, 2019, as on November 8, 2016. And now they will attempt to spark off a sequel.

Rachel Maddow, for instance, struggling to maintain her dignity after two years playing Madame DeFarge on MSNBC, tried to console her fans with the prospect of Mr. Trump getting raked over the coals by the DOJ’s Southern District of NY prosecutors for crimes as yet unpredicted — really, whatever they might find if they turn over enough rocks in Manhattan. Perhaps she doesn’t know how the justice system actually works in this country: we prosecute crimes not persons. In places like Stalin’s Soviet Union and Hitler’s Germany, you first choose a person to eliminate and then fit them to a crime. If no crime can be found, one is easily manufactured. In the USA, a predicate crime is required before you can launch a prosecution. Perhaps the actual Attorney General, Mr. Barr, will advise the avid staff of the Southern District of NY how this works…

Pinkerton — Russia to Judgment: On the Origin of Conspiracy Theories and the Fake News Trifecta

Posted by M. C. on March 26, 2019

https://www.breitbart.com/the-media/2019/03/25/pinkerton-russia-to-judgment-on-the-origin-of-conspiracy-theories-and-the-fake-news-trifecta/

by James P. Pinkerton

…So how could the MSM get it so wrong?  One answer, of course, is that the MSM hates Donald Trump so much that it can’t see straight; in the MSM’s collective hive-mind, the image of the president’s being frogmarched out of the White House in handcuffs was so enticing that all reality was bent to serve that goal.

A second answer is that reporters tend to be slaves to their sources, and so if their sources are Democrats and Deep Statists, well, that’s what journalists will believe. And within the last two decades, we’ve seen where such credulousness can lead. In the run-up to the Iraq War, the Bush 43 administration systematically marketed—its chosen word—tales of weapons of mass destruction as a pretext for the Iraq War.  (Historians still debate whether or not the Bush people were fooling themselves as well as the American people.)…

Intriguingly, the prime mover of it all seems to have been … Hillary Clinton.  That assertion is no right-wing fantasy, but rather the considered reportage of MSM journalists Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes, who two years ago co-authored Shattered: Inside Hillary Clinton’s Doomed Campaign.  While the book mostly, of course, focuses on the Clinton campaign, it also included some telling post-election details, which were caught, at the time, by Breitbart News:

The authors detail how Clinton went out of her way to pass blame for her stunning loss on “Comey and Russia.”  She wants to make sure all these narratives get spun the right way,” a longtime Clinton confidant is quoted as saying. [emphasis added]

Allen and Parnes further wrote:

That strategy had been set within twenty-four hours of her concession speech.  [Campaign manager Robbie] Mook and [campaign chairman John] Podesta assembled her communications team at the Brooklyn headquarters to engineer the case that the election wasn’t entirely on the up-and-up.  For a couple of hours, with Shake Shack containers littering the room, they went over the script they would pitch to the press and the public.  Already, Russian hacking was the centerpiece of the argument.

So how much of that history will be dredged up again?  A lot depends on the ability of the Senate Judiciary Committee, chaired by Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, to really get to dredging.  (Graham has it in his power, of course, to subpoena any and all witnesses, including Hillary Clinton.)…

Meddling-Forest/Trees. Show Trial Epic Fail.

Posted by M. C. on March 24, 2019

Two years and likely half a billion dollars later-no Russia collusion indictments.

You would have thought the FIB, NSA, CIA would have said something to someone. Unless they were part of the oh so obvious coup attempt.

If Russia hacked

What indictments that were issued were for lying to congress and other common as dirt Washington activities.

Governments have been meddling with other government as long as there have been governments. Hillary admitted Russian election interference. Hillary had Libya’s Qaddafi overthrown and assassinated turning Libya into a human trafficking depot. She “meddled” in Ukraine government turning it into a neo-Nazi fatherland.

Bubba turned Kosovo into Christian free drug and human organ trade center.

Bush II – Iraq II

Bush I – Iraq I and was CIA chief

Reagan in Central America and Iran

Johnson in Vietnam

Ad nauseum

Now the US is trying to depose an elected president and bragging about regime change in Venezuela with US military help.

Yet Mueller can’t find any meddlers! Former head of the FIB!

FDR’s Uncle Joe. He knew how to find meddlers and put on a show trial.

Journalist Who Broke Story Of Mueller Deleting Text Messages Dies Mysteriously – Collective Evolution

Posted by M. C. on January 3, 2019

Being small potatoes doesn’t seem so bad some days…

https://www.collective-evolution.com/2019/01/02/journalist-who-broke-story-of-mueller-deleting-text-messages-dies-mysteriously/

By

  • The Facts:Bre Payton, the journalist who broke the story of Robert Mueller’s team deleting text messages, died very suddenly of a mysterious illness.
  • Reflect On:Can we look at these incidences based on the facts as well as by recognizing patterns, before we jump to either accept or reject possible explanations?

Bre Payton was a writer for the conservative online news magazine The Federalistand a guest commentator on the Fox News Channel. And she was a rising star.

“From the moment we started talking I realized she was a potential star,” Ben Domenech, the publisher of The Federalist, said in an essay on Saturday. “She was raw, yes, but that could be honed. She was eager to learn, to write, and to go places—not because of ambition, but because she wanted to change the world.”

And then she died suddenly on Friday in San Diego. She was 26.

Are the Investigations the Cover-Up?

Posted by M. C. on December 27, 2018

Mueller’s key role is to have nearly absolute control over what information is released to investigators or the public.

https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2018/12/are_the_investigations_the_coverup.html

By Bryce Buchanan

Those of us who have been paying attention know that serious crimes were committed at the highest levels of government in an attempt to exonerate Hillary Clinton and frame Donald Trump.  There was collusion between government agencies, including collusion with foreign agents, to illegally influence the 2016 Presidential election.  There is enough evidence on the table to be confident of these claims.

And those of us who care about rule of law, who want to see justice done to the criminals in this conspiracy, have been waiting for years to see that happen.  We hear that these serious matters are being investigated.  We hear that there are whistleblowers inside the government who want to come forward and expose the corruption.  We hear that there are many, many more documents which will substantiate our worst fears about one of the greatest scandals in the history of our country.

We have been assured that there are several investigations looking into the various aspect of this abuse of power.  Inspector General Michael Horowitz, prosecutor John Huber, and others are looking into the corruption.  Mueller is supposedly tasked with exposing foreign influence on the Presidential election.

But what if the ‘investigations’ are really the cover-up? Read the rest of this entry »

What Is A Conservative?

Posted by M. C. on October 21, 2018

I emailed this to the Erie Times News this morning. Let’s see if this one gets printed and how bad it is edited.

A phrase in a recent Erie Times-News letter promoting the Mueller circus stood out. Republicans are looking at Kasich, Flake and Sasse as a return to traditional conservative policies. There are no conservatives, traditional or otherwise. Who in government actively works for balanced budgets, honest (gold or silver standard) money, low taxes, non-interventionism, truly free markets (i.e. no federal reserve) and small government? No one.

Who has heard the terms True Liberal, Taft Conservative or Paleoconservative?

I can think of three presidential candidates that were these things and met an ugly Republican instigated political fate due precisely because of these beliefs-Robert Taft, Ron Paul and to a lesser extent Barry Goldwater.

Today’s conservatives believe the annual deficit should be less a trillion dollars, invading countries that never attacked US is OK and it might not be a good idea for our 9/11 financing friend Saudi Arabia to kill a Washington Post reporter. But US helping SA bomb Yemen school buses and wedding parties is acceptable foreign policy. More people in Yemen should work for WaPo.

That vibration you felt is Taft spinning.

Shhhhhhh! – LewRockwell

Posted by M. C. on July 29, 2018

If the Russians are that scary and powerful, either we’re doomed or maybe the DNC should hire them for the next election.

Even if you’re not a Trump fan, there are some things you just shouldn’t bring up in public and/or polite company. It isn’t necessarily that they’re impolite, it’s just that you’ll call unwanted and embarrassing attention to things best left hidden under the carpet.

Start with those 12 Russian “ham sandwichs” Mr. Mueller — with a lot of help — managed to conjure up and then indict for “meddling” in the 2016 U.S. election.

It’s not that, as the justice system aphorism goes, a D.A. can get his Grand Jury to indict even a ham sandwich, it’s that it took Mr. Mueller and Company over a year and a lot of taxpayer money to do it.

And it’s not so much that he then blocked a defense motion for a quick trial. It’s not even that, as the indictment admits, there was no collusion and no effect on the election.

No, what’s embarrassing is the overwhelming U.S. media/pundit consensus that 12 Russian ham sandwiches somehow “threatened our democracy.” Read the rest of this entry »

Moon-Strzok No More, Lisa Page Spills the Beans – Consortiumnews

Posted by M. C. on July 24, 2018

“A few minutes later Strzok texted his own handicap of the Russia evidence: ‘You and I both know the odds are nothing. If I thought it was likely, I’d be there no question. I hesitate in part because of my gut sense and concern there’s no big there there.’

Ever since J Edgar Hoover took over the FIB, the main concern has been to make the bureau and J Edgar look good. The number one rule has been violated, don’t make the bureau look bad.

https://consortiumnews.com/2018/07/23/moon-strzok-no-more-lisa-page-spills-the-beans/

By Ray McGovern

Former FBI attorney Lisa Page has reportedly told a joint committee of the House of Representatives that when FBI counterintelligence official Peter Strzok texted her on May 19, 2017 saying there was “no big there there,” he meant there was no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

It was clearly a bad-luck day for Strzok, when on Friday the 13th this month Page gave her explanation of the text to the House Judiciary and Oversight/Government Reform Committees and in effect threw her lover, Strzok, under the bus… Read the rest of this entry »
