Bubba Smollett, Jussie Wallace – Taki’s Magazine – Taki’s Magazine

Posted by M. C. on June 25, 2020

Worse for Wallace, NASCAR has been in decline since its peak moment in the national consciousness, which can be dated precisely to Feb. 18, 2001, when Dale Earnhardt Sr. died in the last turn of the last lap of the Daytona 500.

It’s not just the ensuing safety reforms that have eroded stock car racing’s 1990s popularity. NASCAR is basically an ethnic pride parade for the people who aren’t allowed to hold ethnic pride parades, and the 21st century has been a bad one for the white working class.

As you have likely noticed in your experience with hate hoaxes going back to Tawana Brawley’s in 1987, the most gullible suckers tend to be the national media, followed by the Fortune 500, and then the local press.

The years of antiwhite hate hysteria over nooses supposedly being planted by white racists to terrorize blacks will eventually induce some white guy to actually do it. But, judging by what we know so far about the latest brouhaha—over a purported noose found in the garage of Bubba Wallace, the half-black NASCAR race driver—Noose News seems to remain Fake Noose.

I first wrote about Wallace in 2013 in my Taki’s column “Nature, Nurture, and NASCAR,” when he was only 19, but already was being hyped as NASCAR’s Great Black Hope, the Tiger Woods of stock car racing.

Strikingly, when I last followed the sport in the late 1960s, there was a black driver, Wendell Scott, who was consistently strong, finishing among the top ten racers each year from 1966 to 1969.

Unlike Scott, who got his start as the fastest bootleg corn likker driver in the county, Wallace is not a natural prodigy, but instead is a product of the Tiger Woods era of child competitors given every advantage by their parents. Wallace’s father, a wealthy white business owner, paid for his son to compete in youth motorsports from age 9 onward.

Soon he was the star of NASCAR’s Drive for Diversity program. The widespread hope has been that Wallace will be the American Lewis Hamilton, the half-black English driver who is a six-time Formula One world champion. He now drives the most legendary number in stock cars, Richard Petty Motorsports’ No. 43.

Unfortunately, Wallace hasn’t yet proven more than mediocre at the highest level, finishing 28th among drivers in each of the past two seasons.

“Noose News seems to remain Fake Noose.”

This year, Wallace jumped on the Black Lives Matter bandwagon, which is, perhaps not coincidentally, much beloved by corporate America’s deep-pocketed sponsors, with the support of NASCAR. He had his car painted with the BLM slogan for the Talladega race.

Then, over the weekend, one of his crew supposedly found a “noose” in his car’s garage stall. Bypassing Wallace, the worker went straight to NASCAR higher-ups, led by Steve Phelps, and they organized the usual corporate freak-out, demanding the FBI and Department of Justice investigate and threatening to ban for life the unknown malefactor.

As you have likely noticed in your experience with hate hoaxes going back to Tawana Brawley’s in 1987, the most gullible suckers tend to be the national media, followed by the Fortune 500, and then the local press.

The only institutions that have consistently kept their heads have been local cops, who weren’t invited to assist in finding the nooseman. Local police are used to people telling them tall tales all the time, so they aren’t surprised when somebody makes up lies about fashionable hate crimes. Not surprisingly, the current riots are focused on bringing down the autonomy of local police and replacing them with somebody more on board with The Narrative.

Amusingly, we haven’t yet seen any security-camera video from Talladega, nor have we been shown a mere camera phone still shot of the “noose.” Even some reporters were skeptical. A cryptic paragraph in Fox Sports noted:

Phelps would not comment on any specifics of the investigation, nor would he say whether the noose came from the rope that is typically attached to the garage door to close off the garage. He said any suggestion that NASCAR staged the event offended him.

Over the course of Monday, various online volunteers, led by @TheLastRefuge2, crowdsourced the most plausible explanation: This wasn’t a noose at all, it was merely a loop tied at the end of a cord hanging down from each garage door for ease in pulling the door down. They came up with a photograph of that stall’s garage door pull rope last November, showing what an excitable person who never made it to Tenderfoot in the Boy Scouts might think was a terrifying lynching noose, but is really just a loop to put your hand in when tugging on the door.

The Last Refuge posted side-by-side photos of Wallace’s stall No. 4 last November and this weekend, showing that the lower few feet of cord, which had been formed into a loop in 2019, is now missing. Moreover, somebody had untied the loop in the rope attached to garage door No. 5 next door.

This raises a few possibilities. Perhaps a vicious white racist had snuck into the closed-off area full of expensive equipment and cut off the loop in the garage-door twine to use as a symbol of racial hatred.

Or, possibly, the looped rope had broken off in somebody’s hand as he was pulling on it to shift the garage door, and he tossed it in the garage. Or who knows what other variation on these polar possibilities?

If the latter, this wasn’t necessarily a hate hoax, which is just one category of hate hysteria, along with hate hypochondria and hate hallucinations. We’ve seen many delusional manias about nooses like this recently, such as the recent Twitter spasm of fear and loathing about a pickup truck driving around Southern California with a tow rope.

In truth, the theory that whites tie nooses to terrorize blacks and their ancestral memories of lynching was more or less invented in 2007 by Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson to get six star black Jena High School football players out of jail for stomping a white boy unconscious.

I can recall feeling as baffled as Jena whites did over the Revs’ allegations. To whites, like the Coen brothers in 2018’s The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, nooses have to do with cowboys and outlaws, not blacks. The notion that a noose is a well-known symbol of white supremacy is just a recent concoction, appealing to people like Jussie Smollett, as is so much else in The News these days.

The Real Racists – PaulCraigRoberts.org

Posted by M. C. on June 12, 2020

I just checked CNN and the BBC and there is nothing about the extraordinary economic destruction and massive thefts. Instead, I learn from CNN that Nascar, a Southern institution, has banned Confederate flags—https://www.cnn.com/2020/06/10/us/nascar-bans-confederate-flag-spt-trnd/index.html . Are Southern people so stupid that they will still attend Nascar races? Yes, they are.

I learned from the BBC that HBO has removed “Gone With The Wind” from its offerings—https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-52990714 . The famous movie is not about racism. It is about the South in the aftermath of Lincoln’s war.But the South is racist, and so HBO removed the movie. Are Southern people so stupid that they will still use HBO.Yes, they are.

Paul Craig Roberts

The worst racists in the world are the US print and TV media, NPR, and university administrations.  Their racism is directed entirely at white people. Although Ron Unz is correct that Harvard University discriminates against Asians and limits their enrollment as Harvard once limited Jewish enrollment, it is white people who are accused by white media and white political leaders of both parties of the racial suppression of black peoples.  Even Trump’s vice president has taken the side of black looters against looted whites, as has the Republican majority leader in the US Senate.

The extraordinary destruction of white and Asian businesses in many instances wiping out a family’s lifetime work, the looting of national businesses whose dumbshit CEOs support the looters, the merciless gang beatings of whites and Asians who attempted to defend their persons and their property, the egging on of the violence by politicians in both parties and by the entirely of the media including many alternative media websites, shows a country undergoing collapse. This is why it is not shown in national media.  Some local media show an indication of the violent destruction in their community, but it is not accumulated and presented to a national audience. Consequently, Americans think the looting and destruction is only a local occurance.

It is about the South in the aftermath of Lincoln’s war.  But the South is racist, and so HBO removed the movie.  Are Southern people so stupid that they will still use HBO.  Yes, they are.

Some years ago I read that a movie theater somewhere in the South—it might have been Louisiana or Mississippi—that had always shown Gone With The Wind on an anniversary had ceased to permit the movie to be shown.  Did Southerners protest and burn down the movie theater?  No.

The US Congress demonstrated its unconcern with America’s unraveling by having the brother of the often convicted criminal George Floyd speak to them.  The US Congress is more interested in grandstanding over a convicted felon’s death than in the unfolding death of our country.

How do these facts boil down to white supremacy?  The only person in the US TV media speaking truthfully about what is going on is Tucker Carlson at Fox News whose firing—indeed murder—is demanded by the “white is evil” multitude.  How long can Fox News hold on?

How long can Tucker Carlson hold on when white people have surrendered?  Where are the voices in support of Carlson of the people whose free institutions he speaks for?  Why aren’t those white people whose property and economic lives are being destroyed protesting what blacks are doing to them?

How long can groveling white people hold on?

The Saker is correct. White people are so brainwashed that they do not even know that they are targeted.  Even when it is before their eyes they cannot see it. OnMyGod, it would be racist to acknowledge reality.

There is no doubt that whites have accepted their demise. Whites acknowledge their subservience to blacks  by serving as majority enforcers for punishments of whites.  It is so commonplace that it goes unnoticed. Nascar driver Kyle Larson has been fired for using the n-word—https://www.roadandtrack.com/motorsports/a32126968/kyle-larson-n-word/?source=nl&utm_source=nl_rdt&utm_medium=email&date=041320&utm_campaign=nl19969952&utm_term=AAA%20–%20High%20Minus%20Dormant%20and%2090%20Day%20Non%20Openers

Before the white Nascar representatives of black power will give Kyle Larson his livelihood back, he has to grovel and complete “sensitivity training.”

But blacks don’t have to show any sensitivity as they shout “racist” and loot and destroy white property.

Meanwhile the police continue shooting to death more white people than black people, and no one protests.

Erie Times E-Edition Article-Elliott ends tough week with Cup win

Posted by M. C. on May 30, 2020

Sporting events in empty stadiums seems pathetic to me.

Why bother.

Wearing masks in people free zones just show that we should all be good little soldiers and obey. Again pathetic.

No Cale Yarboroughs here.

By The Associated Press

CONCORD, N.C. — Chase Elliott’s streak of bitter defeats in NASCAR’s frantic first push of rescheduled races finally ended with his first Cup victory of the season.

Elliott won Thursday night in the rain-delayed event at Charlotte Motor Speedway to close a brutal 12 days for NASCAR. The event, postponed Wednesday night, was the fourth Cup race since the series resumed racing May 17. Elliott had two frustrating losses in that span, including defeat Sunday night in the Coca-Cola 600 when a caution flew two laps from the finish with Elliott leading.

“Man, it’s been a tough week for sure,” Elliott said. “We’ve had some tough losses but that deal on Sunday night was a heart-breaker.”

Elliott’s frustration began last week — three Cup races ago — when he was trying to race for the lead at Darlington Raceway and was wrecked by Kyle Busch.

Then he had the 600 checkered flag in site until a caution caused by his own teammate. Elliott pitted from the lead, took four tires and couldn’t get back to the front in the two-lap overtime sprint.

There was little suspense in this one. Elliott reeled in Kevin Harvick with 27 laps remaining and closed out the victory. Elliott also won the Truck

Series race Tuesday night at Charlotte to give him a pair of victories in a fourrace stretch at the track a few minutes away from Hendrick Motorsports headquarters.

“It’s not the Coke 600, but any win in the Cup series is really hard to get,” Elliott said. “I just really appreciate everybody at Hendrick Motorsports across the street here. Everybody’s been working really hard.”

Elliott was charging hard on Harvick with about 35 laps remaining when he asked if he had enough fuel to make it to the finish. Crew chief Alan Gustafson replied, “Yup. Go hard.”

Elliott did just that.

Denny Hamlin finished second in a Toyota with three crew members sitting at home under suspension for an infraction Sunday night. His crew chief, car chief and engineer earned automatic four-race suspensions when a piece of tungsten fell off Hamlin’s car on a pace lap.

Because NASCAR is holding all its events as one day shows without qualifying or practice, Hamlin said his Joe Gibbs Racing team was able to push through the upheaval.

Ryan Blaney was third in a Ford for Team Penske, followed by Ricky Stenhouse Jr. for JTG-Daughtery Racing, a tremendous boost after a bad resumption of the season. Stenhouse wrecked on the first lap of the first race and finished last, then was 25th and 24th before Thursday.

NASCAR Shifts on Guns, Rejects Ad Showing Semiautomatic Rifle

Posted by M. C. on September 9, 2019

From the comments

The NFL did not need us either. That worked out pretty well for them. They are now trying to sell shirts and merchandise on Home Shopping Club at 2 in the morning.

NASCAR IS already removing grandstand seats so they dont look as empty as NFL stadiums

AWR Hawkins

NASCAR admits it is shifting its position on guns and the latest proof can be seen via the rejection of an ad that shows a semiautomatic rifle.

The NRA tweeted:

The NRA-ILA reports the rejected ad was from K-Var, and “included depictions of ‘assault-style rifles/sniper rifles.’” NASCAR’s media sales company told K-Var the racing giant is undergoing a “gradual shift in (its) position on guns.”

K-Var’s blog reported the entire quote from National Event Publications, which is NASCAR’s media sales company:

We just heard from NASCAR on a number of gun related ads and unfortunately, due a gradual shift in NASCAR’s position on guns, these ads must be edited/changed—especially those that are depicted as assault-style rifles/sniper rifles. NASCAR is still open to some of the less controversial gun accessories, concealed carry, or classes.

NASCAR’s changing position on guns follows Dick’s Sporting Good’s February 2018 decision to ban the sell of commonly owned semiautomatic rifles. Moreover, the change in NASCAR advertisement is occurring at exactly the same time as Walmart, Kroger, and Walgreens are banning open carry in their stores.

NASCAR vs Sterling Moss and Rolf Biland. Different worlds.

Posted by M. C. on January 11, 2017

http://ericpetersautos.com/2017/01/10/not-stock-car/

That stock cars are not stock is likely news to sporting sheeple. If we want to sue NASCAR, as the posting suggests, it should be for too long, boring races, namby pamby drivers (more later) and commentary that reminds one of Hee Haw. Two hundred laps of waiting for the last fifty, 20 times a season, gets old.

Imagine a ‘modern’ car on a race track. Cornering with wide tires would likely buckle the chassis. A touch on the fender would total the car. Too many bumps on the bumper would bankrupt the owner just having to replace all those mandatory backup cameras.

One thing NASCAR needs to do is eliminate restrictor plates and admit the cars are too fast for some tracks. Bite the bullet and use one of the existing chicanes at Daytona and Talladega. Read the rest of this entry »
