The Formula Our Technocratic Class Has Borrowed From The Totalitarians Of The Last Century
2.) Stoke fear.
3.) Implement a new normal.
By Allan Stevo
Shortly after the turn of this century, I found myself standing in one of the halls of political power in former Czechoslovakia, after hearing the umpteenth horror story from communism, and saying to myself “I wish I could live through a little bit of communism to see how normal people allowed it to all happen.”
You see, I just couldn’t believe how this stable and prosperous interwar democracy could find itself in the throes of Stalinist communism and its psychological turmoil. It was shortly after World War II though, in 1948, that the communists came to power and there was a lot of “new normal” to deal with after the horrors of war. Akin to our current era, there was even a period of Czechoslovak communism called “normalizacia” or normalization.
What was this thing called normalization? It was the “second wave” of Stalinism led by the old guard, a return after the liberalization of the 1968 Prague Spring to the most oppressive communism, a “new normal.”
Normalization lasted from the fall of 1968 until November 17, 1989, when a peaceful revolution was set into place in former Czechoslovakia.
The Normalities Of Life Under Communism
From the surveillance state, to the uranium mines for political prisoners, along with other horrific impacts for thinking the wrong thing: no college for your kids, no permission to pursue your desired career path, no permission to travel (unless you were really awful, hard to repress, and they wanted to get rid of you), to the total control of almost all aspects of life for all people, political prisoner or not, to the total domination of media and culture for the political ends of government, in which there was even well-funded and encouraged official culture and unofficial culture.
If you stayed obedient, you were mostly treated okay compared to the others. If you got close to the most powerful, you were treated better. Within a few years, no one in society — from the highest echelon down —was living all that well. As time went on, the difference between west and east grew more stark. Virtually everything was chintzy in the east.
How could a people put up with it? How could anyone treat this as normal?
The stories I heard from so many seemingly normal and logical people in my many lengthy visits to post communist countries was “It was all so normal” and “We never realized anything was wrong with it.” Plenty will also speak openly about the abnormality of it all. To this day, in the post-communist lands, large percentages of the population, who are more comfortable being obedient to authority than figuring out how to add value in the world around them, lament the shift from communism.
Some people such as that have not made the shift to the logical and generous environment of capitalism very well. They miss the warm paternalistic embrace of being a lackey in communist society.
As I write this, on Friday, November 13, 2020, seven months into our free trial of corona communism, on the 241st day of lockdown in this most heavily locked down American city in which I hang my hat, I’m beginning to see the many similarities that made it all so possible for the people of Czechoslovakia to see it as all so normal.
Compliance Is At The Heart Of Totalitarianism
I stood with a European two weeks ago as he intimated to me the descent of the world into a state of compliance at all cost, and he related those details from his corner of the world since World War II, imbued with the memories of his forefathers.
Totalitarianism is compliance. Compliance brings totalitarianism. Whether it be more like fascism or communism matters little, widespread individual compliance inevitably leads a society to a bad place. Lack of compliance is generally protective to the individual in the early days of totalitarianism as the non-compliant are not worth the trouble.
How Does Your Compliance Benefit You Or Anyone Else?
The benefit of compliance to the individual in the present era of corona communism is unclear and unquestioned. The insistence to comply is the primary definition of what is taking place today. There is no rigorous reason to it. There is no prevailing logic to it. There is certainly no genuine public debate.
Many governments and cultures in a self-perpetuating loop of fear that has been stoked and re-stoked have shifted toward this totalitarian demand toward compliance at all cost. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo even admits to happily riding the tide rather than leading.
The Empire State Fear-Monger Criticizes His Work
Cuomo, seemingly the biggest reactionary of all state governors instead of leading, tries to claim cynically that he rides the wave of fear, while blaming others for the fear-mongering behavior that he engages in that so feeds that fear. On a Tuesday, October 6, 2020 (h/t Robert Wenzel) conference call, trying to make peace with Orthodox Jewish leaders who he later “stabbed in the back,” by their account, Cuomo calls his government’s corona response an over-reaction:

In late-September, entrepreneur Elon Musk revealed that neither he nor his family are in the risk group and therefore they won’t take the coronavirus vaccine.
Elon Musk tweeted on Friday that he had received conflicting coronavirus test results over the course of one day, saying that two of the tests came back negative, while the other two were positive.
Something extremely bogus is going on. Was tested for covid four times today. Two tests came back negative, two came back positive. Same machine, same test, same nurse. Rapid antigen test from BD. — Elon Musk (@elonmusk) November 13, 2020
Responding to a tweet from a follower, the entrepreneur revealed that he had the symptoms of a typical cold and that it was nothing unusual.
Symptoms of a typical cold. Nothing unusual so far. — Elon Musk (@elonmusk) November 13, 2020
The tech maverick later tweeted that he will get tested by separate labs; the results will be available in 24 hours.
If it’s happening to me, it’s happening to others. I’m getting PCR tests from separate labs. Results will take about 24 hours. — Elon Musk (@elonmusk) November 13, 2020
Previously, Musk had called several times for an end to coronavirus lockdown measures, saying that we should consider population life-months lost from lockdowns and other restrictions versus life-months lost from any given disease.

“In the US, there is basically one party — the business party. It has two factions, called Democrats and Republicans, which are somewhat different but carry out variations on the same policies. By and large, I am opposed to those policies. As is most of the population.” –Noam Chomsky
… participation [in the electoral process] is an instrument of conquest because it encourages people to give their consent to being governed by the state.
https://www.lewrockwell.com/2020/11/l-reichard-white/changing-hood-ornaments/
Changing Hood Ornaments is exactly what will happen on January 20th of next year when Good Old Uncle Joe — no, not Uncle Joe Stalin, Uncle Joe Biden — is inaugurated U.S. Prez. That’s assuming the Trump machine can’t come up with some horrendously convincing evidence of election medling and no, not just by the US MSM perpetually attacking him for the last four years.
Changing Hood Ornaments is exactly the right image — it is after all, how the elite, who pretty much destroyed what was America think of political partys, voting, America, and government-in-general – – –
“The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to the doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can ‘throw the rascals out’ at any election without leading to any profound or extreme shifts in policy.” –Carroll Quigley, U.S. President Bill Clinton’s mentor, “Tragedy and Hope,” pg. 1247, 1966 AD
We’re not the only ones who’ve recognized the result. Even arch left-coasters know
“In the US, there is basically one party — the business party. It has two factions, called Democrats and Republicans, which are somewhat different but carry out variations on the same policies. By and large, I am opposed to those policies. As is most of the population.” –Noam Chomsky
And this is the view from inside – – –
“…by the time you become the leader of a country, someone else makes all the decisions. You may find you can get away with virtual presidents, virtual prime ministers, virtual everything. –U.S. President Bill Clinton, 1998 Monopoly Men
So governments aren’t really run by the folks “we” elect — and blame and/or praise. They’re memetic machines which, despite the image, no central power really controls.
So the thing is, for better or worse, changing Hood Ornaments doesn’t change the machine.
That’s just another recognition of the Deep State, originally nailed as a meme through PBS’s Bill Moyers Journal, but we can give Mr. Trump credit for putting it on the MSM map.
A little history may be in order. The Deep State started out chiefly as the Banker’s State. Then, because of the notion WWII is what bailed “us” out of the banker-caused Great Depression, the MilitaryIndustrialCongressionalComplex as President Eisenhower memed it — and warned against — took over. Since then, most of the Estabilshment has joined-up until now Ike might describe it as the Military-Industrial-Banking-Media-Pharma-Government Complex.
Chalmers Johnson and others describe the full mechanism as “Military Keynesianism” because, ever since WWII, the military and its provisioning have been the main tool used to power Keynesian deficit spending. It explains why, despite no Constitutional declaration of war since WWII, the U.S. Government has been waging perpetual undeclared unconstitutional “war” from Korea to Afghanistan and points beyond. It explains why That Thing That Lives in Washington D.C. has, since the end of WWII, been illegally murdering literally millions of innocent “foreign” men, women and children and displacing tens-of-millions more.
Luckily for your conscience on this Veterans Day, even if you voted, you’re still not directly responsible for what the Hood Ornaments and their handlers do because, even ignoring The Electoral College, your vote had absolutely no effect what-so-ever on the outcome of the election.
Your vote only affected you. By voting, you likely subjugated yourself to domination by and funding of that thing in Washington D.C.. It works like this – – –
… participation [in the electoral process] is an instrument of conquest because it encourages people to give their consent to being governed by the state. Stemming from a sense of fair play deeply embedded in the human psyche, people generally obey the principle that those who play the game accept the outcome. This kind of subjugation of the masses is no recent discovery. Etienne de la Boetie described this phenomenon as ‘Voluntary Servitude‘ over two hundred years ago. – Alvin Lowi, Jr., originally for Economic.net
So, while the Deep State fights over the spoils you’ve conceded to it with your vote, it’s a good idea to keep in mind what the underlying machine is designed for – – –
The art of constructing governments has usually been to organize the State in such a manner, as that this operation could be carried on to the best advantage for the administrators; and the art of administering those governments has been so to vary the means of seizing upon private property, as to bring the greatest possible quantity into the public coffers, without exciting insurrections. Those governments which are called despotic, deal more in open plunder; those that call themselves free, and act under the cloak of what they teach the people to reverence as a constitution, are driven to the arts of stealing. These have succeeded better by theft than the others have by plunder; …Under those constitutional governments the people are more industrious, and create property faster; because they are not sensible in what manner, and in what quantities, it is taken from them. The administrators, in this case, act by a compound operation; one is to induce the people to work, and the other to take from them their earnings. –Joel Barlow, “Advice to the Privileged Orders in the Several States of Europe – Resulting from the Necessity and Propriety of a General Revolution in the Principle of Government,” written between 1792 and 1795 109_clip18
So now, if you didn’t know already, you understand why Uncle Scam is so eager for you to have a job.
Given this reality, expecting Trump to “drain the swamp” was fools gold and grasping at straws in the first place. As a Hood Ornament, at least he was interesting. Maybe, because he was egotistical and rich, he’d sometimes stray from the teleprompter and his Deep State handlers would lose control but they learned to manipulate him quickly back into the sheep pen.
The virulance the Establishment displayed against him, however, shows how seriously nervous his off-teleprompter excursions made them. Heck, made me nervous too.
So now “we’ve” apparently ditched a rich egotistical screw-up who might now and then actually break the Deep State hold on what used to be America and replaced him with a senile mobbed-up blackmailing war-monger with 40 years of experience lying himself into office.
Lying himself into office? What do successful political Hood Ornaments do to get elected?
Unfortunately, it won’t make much of a difference either way. The thing is, if you keep on doing what you’ve been doing, you’ll keep on getting what you got. However as a bonus for the establishment, Biden’s been doing it for the Deep State and supporting Military Keynesianism for 40 years. Think he’ll change?
And, while I really hate to ask, what are you going to do about it?
HERE or updates, additions, comments, and corrections.

The harm in letting these lawsuits play out is that “it’s not impossible that they will succeed,” said Chris Edelson, a government professor at American University, lawyer and fellow at the Center for Congressional and Presidential Studies.
“I just think everybody is freaking out because the Constitution and federal statutes have all these bizarre provisions”

The legal barrage by President Donald Trump’s campaign against election results in battleground states is highly unlikely to succeed. But it still has the potential to test American democracy as Trump tries to cling to power despite losing the election.
Lawsuits filed in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Arizona — all states that voted for Democratic candidate Joe Biden — ask judges to prevent those states from certifying their results. That has raised questions about whether the Trump campaign is trying to subvert the popular votes in those states.
Even if that were the goal — and some legal experts and observers question whether it is — everyone who spoke with USA TODAY said it would almost certainly fail…
I wonder whom USA Today spoke with?

Intrade may have been the first predictions market to enter my awareness, but it wasn’t the first to seek a better way of predicting the future. The Tippie School of Business at the University of Iowa established the Iowa Electronic Market in 1988; the IEM successfully predicted the presidential election that year. Since then, its predictions have generally compared favorably with the polls.
Where do you get your news? How often do they tell you what will happen? How often do they get it right?
For decades, mainstream media have dominated many people’s news consumption. These days, a lot of people get their news from social media.
In both MSM and social media, analysis and predictions are tainted by preferences and hopes. Pundits, influencers, and most of your friends on Facebook tend to promote expectations that match what would happen if they could choose the outcome.
It’s not a new issue. I recall hearing on NPR nearly two decades ago that a respected predictor of political or economic outcomes had explicitly stated in so many words that he based his prediction on analysis, not on his hopes. After the outcome went the other way, he publicly admitted that he had indeed predicted based on hope rather than on analysis. Yes, he admitted to lying about the basis of his prediction.
More commonly, the deceit is more opaque. Biased polls and wishful thinking pervade much of our media consumption.
This is not an adequate solution for the predictions that we often rely on.
Of course, even the best polls and analysis will be wrong sometimes—no one demands perfection. As Yogi Berra famously observed, “Predictions are hard, especially about the future.”
Nonetheless, in a free market, whenever a solution proves inadequate, someone will create an alternative, and sometimes the alternative will prove superior.
In this case, the alternative solution I want to explore is prediction markets, sometimes known as information markets or virtual markets. Mises.org has covered this before, but I find that prediction markets remain largely outside the public awareness.
As defined by Investopedia, “The prediction market is a collection of people speculating on a variety of events—exchange averages, election results, commodity prices, quarterly sales results or even such things as gross movie receipts.”
Several such markets exist and have existed, and they often blur the lines between gambling and formal financial markets. That blurry line puts them on the wrong side of the law at times. Intrade was the first information market that I ever heard of, and it closed in 2013 following repeated clashes with the US federal Commodity Futures Trading Commission and other financial difficulties.
Using elections as an example, polls ask people how they plan to vote; prediction markets ask people to put money behind how they think the election will turn out. As we commonly find in markets, monetary motivation tends to promote positive outcomes. Of course, people still tend to bet on their preferred candidates. If they think he will lose, then they generally just don’t bet at all. And some people try to sway the market with massive bets on their candidate against the odds. Sometimes this sways the market, and sometimes it doesn’t. At any rate, those who make such bets tend to lose a lot of money.
Elections are a popular subject for prediction markets, but they cover many other topics as well. The economic factor motivates people to find information that they may not otherwise have found. Sometimes this phenomenon is inexplicable, as when the Intrade market on the capture of Saddam Hussein started changing two days before US forces captured him.
The invention and development of blockchain technology holds promise for prediction markets. Smart contracts are a possibility that comes to mind readily, but the beauty of the free market is that no individual can think of all the possibilities, and this article is not here to speculate or list all of them.
There are several prediction markets that use or will use blockchain technology, including Gnosis, Augur, and Polymarket. Polymarket in particular is a rising star: it recently raised $4 million, and its strong early growth is supported by frictionless UI (user interface) and continual innovation and development of the platform.
Prediction markets may not be the best, only, or final solution to the free market’s demand for quality information and accurate predictions, but few things in the free market are. You might think they’re a passing blip with no future, but I wouldn’t bet on that if I were you. Author:

Today, perhaps 140 million American voters are in purgatory, fearfully wondering what will happen to them if the other guy wins. This is nothing short of a national psychosis, absurd yet deadly real. And it gets worse every four years, despite the narrowing of any “policy” differences between the two parties over recent decades. If anything, presidential votes are overwhelmingly about tribal affiliations with our kind of person, not substantive ideology.
Americans are lovely people—generous, open. But politics divides them in the worst and most unnecessary ways. It’s time to break up, and millions of us sense this instinctively. So what’s stopping us?

by Jeff Deist

It’s one thing for mass democracy to produce bad results, in the form of elected politicians or enacted policies. It’s another when the democratic process itself breaks down because nobody trusts the vote or the people who count it. But that’s precisely where we are.
As things stand at this writing, last night’s presidential election remains undecided and looking ugly. At least six states are still uncalled, and both the Trump and Biden camps have their legal teams claiming victory. We may be in for days, weeks, or even months of legal skirmishes, all of which can only add to our intense political (or more accurately cultural) breakdown.
Yes, this is unhealthy. And yes, the psychosis manifests because the stakes are so high. It manifests because government is far too big and rapacious; lawmaking and jurisprudence too centralized in DC; the unitary executive presidency too powerful; and society too politicized. But these are unhelpful truisms. Plenty of Americans abjectly support more government, more centralized political power, an omnipotent president and Supreme Court, and the sharp politicization of every facet of life.
In Nation, State, and Economy Mises talks about a “liberal nationalism” and explains what a confident nation requires:
A nation that believes in itself and its future, a nation that means to stress the sure feeling that its members are bound to one another not merely by accident of birth but also by the common possession of a culture that is valuable above all to each of them.
What, then, is the common culture Americans possess? What binds us together as a unifying principle? Is it language? Religion? Constitutionalism? Love of country? (What country?) Markets? It certainly is not obvious, and few of us feel optimistic about America’s future. Worse still, covid lockdowns have attenuated the ostensibly nonpolitical spheres of life—from family and work to sports, dining, movies, and travel. When we stare ourselves in the mirror all day, and read everyone’s innermost thoughts on social media, we find familiarity breeds contempt.
Regardless of how the election turns out, it’s obvious America is not much of a country anymore, much less a nation. The sooner we accept this, the sooner we can get to work asserting the principles of federalism, subsidiarity, nullification, and even secession. None of the current frictions will get better over time, but they can get much worse—and our most important task must be to avoid any movement toward outright civil war.
There are workable baby steps toward this. Law professor Frank Buckley writes about “secession lite” in his sober and reasoned book on the subject of a national breakup. Buckley sees a third-way approach between our current disfunction and an outright breakup into new political entities, primarily through aggressive federalism and state nullification. This echoes sentiments from Professor Angelo Codevilla, who similarly argues that the feds simply lack the manpower to enforce federal laws and edicts on recalcitrant states. Just as blue states declared sanctuary cities as havens from Trump’s immigration policies, red states could restrict all manner of federal dictates (abortion and gun control come to mind) while simply daring the feds to interfere. At the end of the day, Codevilla reminds us, there are only a few million of them and many millions of us. And progressives too share this sentiment; even if Biden prevails, they remain shaken by the degree of Trump support. In fact the 2016 election saw the New Republic advocate nothing short of a renunciation of the hated red states.
Things don’t have to be this way. Americans are lovely people—generous, open. But politics divides them in the worst and most unnecessary ways. It’s time to break up, and millions of us sense this instinctively. So what’s stopping us?
For one, secession remains bound up with the Civil War and Confederate slavery in the American psyche, distant in time as they are. Manifest Destiny and the westward expansion resulted in a nice, round number of fifty states, a nice, big American number. Throw in a few specious Supreme Court decisions like Texas v. White, and it’s no surprise many Americans still have concrete between their ears on the subject.
But Trump may have changed all that. And if you want political liberty to retain a foothold in the U.S., if you want Misesian liberalism to show a heartbeat in the West, you should cheer this.
Americans by and large are lovely people—open, generous, friendly, and quick to forgive. A hyperpoliticized environment, where everything is existential and rooted in race, sex, and sexuality, is deeply at odds with our character and well-being. We deserve to live peaceably as neighbors, even if that means breaking up and creating new political entities. Addressing the reality of our dysfunction is not divisive; the divide already exists. Our task is to apprehend this and end the charade of one nation.

The Great Reset also foresees, a credit scheme, whereby all personal debt would be “forgiven” – against handing over all personal assets to an administrative body or agency – could possibly be the IMF.
So, you would own nothing – and be happy. Because all your necessities will be provided for.
By Peter Koenig
The World Economic Forum (WEF) has just published (October 2020) a so-called White Paper, entitled “Resetting the Future of Work Agenda – in a Post-Covid World”.
This 31-page document reads like a blueprint on how to “execute” – because an execution (or implementation) would be – “Covid-19 – The Great Reset” (July 2020), by Klaus Schwab, founder and CEO (since the foundation of the WEF in 1974) and his associate Thierry Malleret.
They call “Resetting the Future” a White Paper, meaning it’s not quite a final version. It is a draft of sorts, a trial balloon, to measure people’s reactions. It reads indeed like an executioner’s tale. Many people may not read it – have no awareness of its existence. If they did, they would go up in arms and fight this latest totalitarian blueprint, offered to the world by the WEF.
It promises a horrifying future to some 80%-plus of the (surviving) population. George Orwell’s “1984” reads like a benign fantasy, as compared to what the WEF has in mind for humanity.
The time frame is ten years – by 2030 – the UN agenda 2021 – 2030 should be implemented.
Planned business measures in response to COVID-19:
This is the what is being put forth, namely the concrete process of implementing The Great Reset.
The Great Reset also foresees, a credit scheme, whereby all personal debt would be “forgiven” – against handing over all personal assets to an administrative body or agency – could possibly be the IMF.
So, you would own nothing – and be happy. Because all your necessities will be provided for.
Also, it should not occur to you to disagree with the system, because – by now each one of you has been covid-vaccinated and nano-chipped – so that with 5G and soon to come 6G, your mind can be read and influenced.
Please do not call this a conspiracy theory. It is a White Paper, an “authoritative report” by the WEF.
DARPA – Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, is part of the Pentagon –and has years ago developed the technology. It is just a matter of time to implement it. And Implemented it will be, if We, The People, do not protest — Massive Civil Disobedience is of the order – and that rather sooner than later.
The more we wait with action, the more we sleepwalk into this absolute human disaster.
*
Social and human relations are being eviscerated.
This has several advantages for this novel “totalitarian” WEF approach to humanity – to controlling humanity.
– We, The People, cannot rebel, we have no longer cohesion among ourselves,
-“We, The People”, will be played against each other – and there is an absolute digital control over humanity – executed by a small super elite.
-We have no access to this digital control – it is way beyond our reach. The idea is, that we will gradually grow into it – those of us who may survive. Within a generation or so, it is expected to become the New Normal.
The “survival angle” is an aspect not mentioned directly either in The Great Reset, or in the “Implementation Guide” – i.e. in the White Paper “Resetting the Future of Work Agenda – in a Post-Covid World”.
Bill Gates, the Rockefellers, Kissinger et al, have never made a secret out of their strong opinion that the world is over-populated and that the number of people has to be literally reduced. We are dealing with eugenicists.
A perfect method for reducing the world population, are Bill Gates initiated, and WHO-supported vaccination programs. Scandals of such disastrous vaccine programs resulting in children’s death were recorded in India (in the 1990s), Kenya (2014 and thereafter) and other parts of the world.
See also a very revealing TedTalk by Bill Gates of February 2010, “Innovating to Zero”, just about at the time when the “2010 Rockefeller Report” was issued – the very report that has given us so far, the “Lock Step Scenario” – and we are living it now. Hardly protesting it – the entire world – 193 UN member countries – has been coopted or coerced into following this abject human rights abuse on a global scale.
What either report, The Great Reset and the “Resetting the Future of Work Agenda” fails to mention is who is going to enforce these draconian new rules? – They are supposedly the same forces which now are being trained for urban warfare and for suppressing riots and social unrest – they are the police and the military.
Part of our People’s Organization of Civil Disobedience, will be on how to focus on and talking to, educating, informing the police and military of what they will be used for by this small elite, and that in the end they are also just human beings, like the rest of us, therefore they better stand up in defense of the people, of humanity. The same needs to be done to teachers and medical personnel – information, the unfettered truth.
That’s the challenge. If we succeed – the game is over. But it’s a long way.
Media disinformation is brutal and powerful and hard to contradict for “us”, without a sizable budget for counter-propaganda, and as a group of people, which is ever more divided by the very media. The mandatory wearing masks and social distancing – has already made enemies of what we used to be, colleagues, friends, even within families.
This very diktat has managed to create rifts, divisions and discord within our societies
No fear – but shredding “Resetting the Future of Work Agenda” and the “The Great Reset” literally to pieces – with a human alternative that would do away with organizations like the WEF, and coopted UN agencies, like WHO, UNICEF, WTO, World Bank, IMF – and maybe even the entire UN system. Political and business leaders behind this project must be confronted. The fundamental principles of international law including Nuremberg must be applied.

The NY Times is the deadly enemy of America.
Paul Craig Roberts
Report: New Judicial Watch analysis finds 353 counties in 29 states with voter registration over 100%
This is the way Democrats “won.” Blue states have counties with more registered voters than residents.
Remember: The lying scum at the New York Times devoted their front page to the lie that there was no vote fraud.
Remember: the NY Times made NO INVESTIGATION of vote fraud but knows that none exists.
Remember: the NY Times is not a news organization. It is part of the Democrat/Deep State Propaganda Ministry.
The NY Times is for true believers who are convinced that white people are racists and Trump is a Russian agent.
The NY Times is the deadly enemy of America.
Be seeing you
