I can’t believe it’s not banned yet: 5 problematic behaviors for the woke squad to outlaw next — RT Op-ed

The forces of social justice have been tireless in banning anything offensive, hurtful or ‘problematic.’ But why stop now? There’s danger everywhere, and only the censor’s stamp can save us.

Now that scantily-clad women are banned from sporting events, Santa has turned into Sustainability Pirate and ‘Baby It’s Cold Outside’ has gotten a chastity-belted 2019 rework, the job is far from done – it’s going to be a busy 2020 for the woke squad banning the next batch of problematic things. Like these.

Consensual Sex

Men, you’ve had a lovely evening with her. She’s returned your affection and invited you back to her place to get more intimate. In no uncertain terms she’s told you that she wants to engage in a bout of horizontal cardio. Think you did everything right? Too bad, you’re still a rapist.

That’s according to one Georgetown Law professor, who believes that unless men continuously reaffirm during intercourse that they still have consent, that sex is definitively rape. The professor does not suggest how men actually do this, but a questionnaire submitted every minute would probably do the trick without breaking the mood at all.

Radical feminist Andrea Dworkin argued in 1987 that all sex is rape because power and the patriarchy and such, and totally not because she was missing out on the fun.

In a socially just world, all heterosexual congress should be banned. Men should be castrated at birth and forced to toil in the soy fields, while women live full and satisfying lives, finally free from the terrors of the heterosexual orgasm.

Cultural appropriation is a well-worn path at this stage. Our brave social justice crusaders have already reclaimed dreadlocks from pot-smoking white oppressors for their rightful owners of color, and universities across the US have clamped down on sombreros, feathered headdresses, and all kinds of ethnic costumes.

But go to any nightclub and you’ll see that cultural appropriation is alive and well. Did you know that hoop earrings aren’t just a tacky choice of jewelry? They’re also a sacred symbol of “resistance, strength and identity” for the latinx community.

Policing the outfits of every single oppressor will be a difficult task, true. But America can look east for inspiration here. Saudi Arabia’s Islamic Religious Police do a bang up job preventing the local women from appropriating dangerous western cultural trends, like reading, and uncovering their hair.

A Social Justice Police officer in every nightclub would go a long way towards ridding society of cultural appropriation. In addition, caucasians seen attempting to twerk could be summarily executed. Stick to your polkas and waltzes, whitey!

Alcohol

Problematic Factor: 150% Proof the patriarchy exists

Sure, there are plenty of arguments against our favorite poison: it causes liver failure, impairs judgement, and is a factor in two out of every three instances of domestic abuse in the United States. But did you know that it’s also a devious tool of the patriarchy, designed to keep women from noticing the barrage of microaggressions they face every day?

That’s right. According to one Quartz writer, alcohol is an elixir invented to keep women “purring when we should be making other kinds of noise.” Essentially, by remaining liquored up, women can tolerate “a thousand years of patriarchy,” or at least put up with awkward come-ons from men at office parties.

Progressive media outlet Vox has already banned the infernal rape-juice from its annual Christmas party. Isn’t it time for full-scale national prohibition? What could go wrong?

The unbearable whiteness of everything

Problematic Factor: 10/10, pure unadulterated racism

Damn white people and their *shuffles cards* woodland hiking! In case you haven’t noticed by now, many wholesome and healthy activities are unbearably white. America’s national parks are full of smiling white families clad head to toe in North Face gear, led by Asics-wearing dads who say things like “let’s go gang!” A Sunday trek is practically a Klan meeting.

The problem was first identified in an article entitled “The Unbearable Whiteness of Hiking,” and thinkpiece after thinkpiece have since highlighted the “unbearable whiteness” of skiing, farming, cycling, Indie music, self-care, being Irish, and hundreds more seemingly innocuous activities.

The argument goes that the saturation of white people in these spaces can dissuade people of color from partaking in the fun. So, rather than banning the activities themselves, why not simply designate some whites-only spaces, where no self-respecting POC would ever want to go?

Perhaps a Jimmy Buffet concert? The hockey hall of fame? North Dakota? The possibilities here are endless.

Animal Sexism

Not content to impose its will on human females (and the non-binary), the patriarchy is also working to assert male dominance over the animal kingdom. Did you know that natural history museums around the world display a shocking TWO PERCENT more male mammals than female? And where is the transgender animal representation?

And isn’t putting pretty pink bows on our cats just reinforcing harmful gender stereotypes? All of these questions and more have been answered by the trailblazing journalists at the Washington Post and the activists at PETA.

We’ve covered five big nasties here, but this list is just the beginning. The world will only be completely sanitized once all traditions, humor, diversity of thought, and basically anything a white man ever says are stamped out in the name of political correctness. Sharpen your pitchforks, my gender-nonspecific pals, light your carbon-neutral torches, and let’s spread the light of social justice to the world.

No, Salon, Hallmark movies aren’t ‘fascist,’ but your magazine proves that wokeness is a new form of ‘cultural imperialism’ — RT Op-ed

The article asserted that it was problematic that most robots were manufactured out of white plastic, since it smacked of imperialism and white supremacy.

When Hallmark pulled ads featuring lesbian wedding couples, the network was denounced as ‘homophobic.’ But even after agreeing to woke activist demands, its movies were equated with ‘fascist propaganda’ by the media.

The latest in a line of targets that includes the Peloton exercise equipment company – whose stationary bicycle ad raised the ire of feminists for allegedly fat-shaming women – Hallmark has been savaged by the woke brigade. In December, One Million Moms – a division of religious conservative group the American Family Association – pressured Hallmark to remove four Zola.com ads that end with lesbian wedding couples engaging in the traditional deal-sealing kiss.

The family entertainment network complied – until, that is, the woke crowd caught on to Hallmark’s “wrongthink.” An LGBTQ+ boycott of Hallmark was called – as if the LGBTQ+ community had been avid Hallmark card or movie fans in the first place. But facing the bombardment, Hallmark soon succumbed to the LGBTQ+ activists led by GLAAD.

Hallmark issued a tweet reversing its decision not to air the same-sex wedding ads, and went even further: “Hallmark will be working with GLAAD to better represent the LGBTQ community across our portfolio of brands.”

However, the woke media did not relent. In one of several examples of piling on, Salon politics writer Amanda Marcotte argued that the “family-friendly” channel’s sentimental movies “constitute the platonic ideal of fascist propaganda.” Whatever that means. Who knew that fascist propaganda followed a platonic ideal? Marcotte further suggested that Hallmark’s holiday programming is particularly fascistic: “It’s like watching ‘The Stepford Wives,’ but scarier, since the evil plot to replace normal people with robots is never actually revealed.”

Could it be that Hallmark’s “evil plot to replace human beings with robots is never revealed” because it doesn’t exist? Or that Hallmark’s “very narrow, sentimentalized version of Christmas” doesn’t equal fascist propaganda? Typical of woke rhetoric, it’s Marcotte’s expression that constitutes propaganda, as well as including a logical fallacy. Because some fascist propaganda is sentimental, Marcotte assumes that all sentimentality is fascist. Yeah. Only in the warped worldview of woke hysterics.

The 1944 Italian poster below represents real fascist propaganda. It features a child menaced by the hands of three “evil” forces – portrayed as threats during the interwar years – Judaism, communism, and freemasonry. The head of an innocent and terrified child is lodged within the boot of Italy and featured on a black background of doom. Notice how sentiment is used to elicit bigotry and fear.

To suggest that Hallmark’s “patented holiday season schmaltz” remotely resembles such graphic propaganda represents the hallmark of political illiteracy and historical myopia.

Rather than demonstrating that “empty-headed kitsch fits neatly in the authoritarian worldview,” Salon’s Amanda Marcotte shows that wokeness itself tends toward cultural imperialism, or “the imposition by one usually politically or economically dominant community of various aspects of its own culture onto another, nondominant community.”

Hallmark joins the corpses that continue to mount in the killing fields of wokeness. In January 2019 in the UK, Harry Miller – whose situation and name recall the great American playwrightHenr Arthur Miller and the sex-scandalous American novelist Henry Miller – was investigated by the police for retweeting a trans-skeptical limerick on Twitter. Although not (yet) a criminal, Miller was informed that he was under investigation for thought crimes: “We need to check your thinking,” the Kafkaesque officer told the dock worker.

The casualties from 2019 include not only cultural but also scientific and technological quarry as well. In December, a group of 16 computer scientists – from labs at universities including Cambridge, Oxford, the University of Toronto, and others – wrote a letter to the journal Nature to denounce the use of the term “quantum supremacy” in an article on the “superiority” of quantum over “classical” computing. The use of the word “supremacy,” they wrote, “risks sustaining divisions in race, gender and class. We call for the community to use ‘quantum advantage’ instead.” It’s a wonder that the word “classical” wasn’t also denounced for being “Eurocentric.”

The litany could go on and on. Soon cumulus clouds will be denounced for their puffy white faces and snow for its white supremacist implications.

The seizure of Hallmark by woke activism amounts to nothing less than the “colonization” of yet another frontier by cultural imperialists. Not satisfied with their incursion into and control over the vast majority of culture, including social media, establishment media, establishment news, and 99.9 percent of Hollywood products, they demand that every expression of humanity conforms to their desiderata.

What will become of Hallmark now that it has agreed not only to run ads with enraptured gay, lesbian, and transgender couples but also that it will bow to the demands for the “inclusion” of everything that its current viewers and card buyers apparently oppose? According to the hegemonic ethos of wokeness, such niche markets catering to specific groups must now be abandoned.

Perhaps it’s due time that traditionalists turn woke rhetoric against wokeness itself and “reclaim their traditional culture” in the next wave of cultural decolonization.

A 2020 Citizenship Questionnaire for Millennials – LewRockwell

The following is a set of propositions about the nature of government and its relationship to the citizenry that I think should be of special interest to the younger generation, whether they are “millennials” or one of the other nicknamed younger age groups.  Look at it as a quiz, with each answer either “agree” or “disagree” and see how you do.  Here we go.

  1. It would be better if we had a unified country.
  2. We should have equal rights with respect to other nations.
  3. Any person who is not a citizen will be able to live in our country as a guest.
  4. Government has a duty to provide employment for all of its citizens.
  5. All citizens should have equal right and duties.
  6. The economy must be carried out within the framework of the general good of the community.
  7. War profiteering should be a crime.
  8. Large corporations should be nationalized so that they serve the common good and not private interests.
  9. Corporations should adopt profit sharing.
  10. Government should provide old-age pensions to all retirees.
  11. Government should cultivate a sound middle class.
  12. Government should have a right to expropriate land for public purposes without paying for it.
  13. Government should use tax dollars to educate all children.
  14. All children should be educated about the state by the state as early as possible.
  15. All college education should be “free” and paid for with tax revenues.
  16. Child labor should be banned.
  17. The army should be a national army controlled by the central government.
  18. Spreading false “news” should be illegal.
  19. There should be religious freedom for all, as long as it does not endanger the existence of the government.
  20. Excessive materialism should be condemned and outlawed.
  21. Government policy should be guided by the dictum of “Public Interest before Private Interest.”

If you answered “agree” to at least eleven of these statements, then you would have made a good Nazi.  They are all taken from the February 24, 1920 Platform of the Nazi Party, formally known as “The Program of the National-Socialist German Workers’ Party”.

Our good friend, the late Professor Butler Shaffer, used to present a version of this questionnaire to his first-year law students at Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, generations of which must have been very surprised at how the previous sixteen years or so of public school indoctrination in collectivism had turned them into ideological soulmates of Adolf Hitler.

The scene in the Green Zone in Baghdad easily evokes memories of Tehran forty years ago. A U.S. embassy in the Persian Gulf region is under siege by an angry mob.  The protestors, predominantly young, break through the outer walls of the compound as U.S. diplomats take refuge in a safe room. President Trump implicitly extends the parallel by reacting in the narrowly anti-Iran terms that have defined his policies in this part of the world.  Iran is orchestrating an attack on the U.S. Embassy in Iraq,” Trump tweeted from Mar-a-Lago. “To those many millions of people in Iraq who want freedom and who don’t want to be dominated and controlled by Iran, this is your time!”

But a closer look at what has been happening in Iraq suggests that genuine anger had much more to do with events than any orchestration did. The protestors who smashed their way into the embassy compound did so in defiance of appeals from leaders armed with loudspeakers. And the popular anger displayed at the embassy was also quite visible elsewhere in Iraq. If there is a parallel with Tehran in 1979, it is to be found primarily in a U.S. failure to anticipate and understand the nature of the anti-U.S. anger so much in evidence.

The newest outburst in Baghdad is in response to U.S. airstrikes Sunday on facilities in Iraq of the Kataib Hezbollah militia, which killed at least 25 and wounded at least 55 more. The airstrikes were billed as retaliation for a rocket fired two days earlier at an Iraqi naval base that killed an American civilian contractor and wounded “several” other Iraqi and U.S. personnel. Iraqis noticed the obvious disproportionality between the U.S. airstrikes and what they were retaliating for, and this disproportionality was part of what underlay the angry popular response. Another part was the fact that a foreign power was taking it on itself to conduct a military attack inside Iraq against Iraqi citizens.

The senior Shia cleric in Iraq, Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani, was reflecting the sentiments of many Iraqis when he condemned what he called “atrocious aggression” by the United States and violation of Iraqi sovereignty “under the pretext of responding to some illegal practices by some sides.” Sistani said that “only Iraqi authorities are entitled to deal with these practices and take necessary measures to prevent them.”

Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi condemned the U.S. attack as “an unacceptable vicious assault that will have dangerous consequences.”  Iraq’s National Security Council stated that it would have to reconsider its relationship with the U.S.-led coalition working against the Islamic State (ISIS) in Iraq.

Before the events of the past few days, recurrent popular protests in Iraq had acquired an anti-Iran tinge. The Trump administration may have interpreted this as Iraqis finally deciding to go all in with the administration’s own nothing-but-hostility posture toward Iran that has been the basis of its “maximum pressure” campaign against Iran. If so, this interpretation was mistaken. Most Iraqis do not want endless confrontation with Iran and a risk of once again suffering, as they did in the 1980s, from open conflict with Iran.

Most Iraqis are dissatisfied with the performance of their own government. Given that Iran is the most influential foreign power in Iraq today, it became an auxiliary target of the popular dissatisfaction with the Iraqi regime. If the United States had instead been the most influential foreign power in Iraq today, it would have been that auxiliary target.

The U.S. knack for counterproductive military actions in Iraq continues. The war that the Bush administration launched in 2003 provided the biggest single boost to Iranian influence in Iraq, or for that matter to Iranian influence in the Persian Gulf region generally. Now this week’s U.S. airstrikes have converted what had been a story of popular protests with an anti-Iran tinge into a story of strongly anti-U.S. protests.

If there has been Iranian orchestration behind any of this—including the rocket attack on the Iraqi naval base last week—it would have been a calculated attempt to provoke just the sort of unpopular U.S. response that in fact occurred, thereby taking the focus of angry Iraqi citizens away from Iran and redirecting it toward the United States.

U.S. military personnel are in Iraq supposedly on an anti-ISIS mission.  Under the Trump administration, there appears to have been mission creep, in Iraq as well as Syria, in which somehow confronting Iran has become part of a new mission. That mission has never been justified. No one has explained exactly how the current state of Iraqi-Iranian relations threatens U.S. interests—beyond any threat to the very same U.S. military personnel in Iraq, which brings circular reasoning into play. Seemingly forgotten among all this is how Iran, and the Iraqi elements it supports, also have been performing an anti-ISIS mission.

The United States would serve its own interests by letting that mission be performed by the locals best in position to perform it, and moving toward a withdrawal of its forces from Iraq. Let someone else worry about inflaming popular sentiment through perceived violations of sovereignty. Such a redirection of U.S. policy would take those troops out of harm’s way. It would reduce the risk of a U.S.-Iranian clash, benefiting nobody, on an Iraqi battlefield. And it would reduce the chance of anther U.S. embassy being overrun by an angry mob.

Many of the critical tools employed in the coup to paint Donald Trump as a tool of the Russians and to manufacture a pretext for removing him from office, were created more than twenty years ago. I am talking about the surveillance state that the American electorate has ignorantly accepted as necessary in order to keep us safe from terrorists. Despite previous warning from whistleblowers like Russ Tice, Bill Binney, Ed Loomis and Kird Wiebe, no action to rein in the surveillance monster was taken until Edward Snowden absconded with the documents exposing the vast amount spying that the U.S. Government is doing to its own citizens. But even those weak efforts to supposedly rein in the NSA proved to be nothing more than mere window dressing.

The spying got worse. Just ask Donald Trump and the members of his campaign that were targeted first by the CIA and NSA and then by the FBI. Fundamental civil rights were trampled.

The real irony in all of this is that Barack Obama, as President, took credit for helping revise the laws in order to prevent the spying exposed by Edward Snowden. But under the Obama Administration, spying on political opponents–both real and perceived–escalated. We know for a fact that journalists, such as James Rosen and Sheryl Atkinson, were targets and their communications and computers attacked by the U.S. Government.

We know, thanks to a memo released by Judge Rosemary Collyer, that “FBI consultants” were making illegal searches of NSA material using the names of Donald Trump, his family and members of his campaign staff.

Some of this NSA material came courtesy of the Brits and their collection on U.S. targets. Some of this material came from the NSA’s own collection and storage of all electronic communications and was obtained using a nifty NSA tool called XKEYSCORE. Listen to Ed Snowden’s description. Also, take time to appreciate the irony that CNN and other journalists were actually trying to report real news. Now they are full blown apologists for the abuse of the intelligence collection tools. 

Six years ago, former NSA Technical Director for Military and Geopolitical Issues, Bill Binney, and Russ Tice, a former NSA analyst, appeared on the PBS News Hour. Once again, they make very clear the enormous nature to the threat to our civil liberties.

Too bad Donald Trump did not listen to their warning.

Given the robust, wide ranging ability of the NSA to probe all communications by any person in the United States, it is remarkable that no real dirt on Donald Trump was ever uncovered. Had such information existed, it would be in the NSA’s storage vaults in Utah and crooked CIA analysts under Brennan’s direction would have found it and used it. But that did not happed. The best the intel folks could fabricate were the salacious claims attributed to reports ostensibly created by former British spy, Christopher Steele. Turns out that the titillating account that Trump hired hookers to perform coprophilia (could of been worse, coprophagia) was nothing more than idle bar talk.

What has happened to Donald Trump can happen to any of us. It is time to take this threat seriously and put the intel agencies back into a properly monitored corral. Otherwise, we will lose this Republic.

A grab-bag of resolutions from the occasionally-controlled chaos of life.

Since “We are what we repeatedly do” (attributed to Aristotle), i.e. we are what we do every day, resolutions have little consequence until they become daily habits. With that in mind, here’s a grab-bag of resolutions I want to manifest in 2020:

1. Mourn what is lost but celebrate what remains.

2. Learn from the past but look to the future.

3. Get rid of something every week that I no longer use/am unlikely to use.

4. Don’t wait for someone else to clean up a mess; clean it up myself.

5. Make my own five-year plan; lay out what I need to learn and invest to reach these goals.

6. Forgive others, and myself.

7. Get stronger, not meaner.

8. Create more, ask for less.

9. Grow more food/lavish more care on my gardens and fruit trees…

The new European Commission has clearly stated its project in the era of US withdrawal: to restore Western Europe’s dominance over the rest of the world from the 16th to the 19th century. To achieve this, it is adopting a trumped-up ideology that uses the vocabulary of its philosophers in the wrong way. This posture would be laughable if it could not lead to war.

The former German Defence Minister, Ursula von der Leyen, took up her post as President of the European Commission in the place reserved for Spitzenkandidate Manfred Weber. Until then, this role had been held by a representative of Atlanticist interests.

The European Union aims to restore to its members the status they had acquired by force in their respective empires. As the world has changed, it is no longer possible to base colonial reality on the educational abyss that separated the savages from civilization. A new ideology must therefore be formulated which dresses European domination with noble ideals.

This already exists in embryonic form and was used by the United States to justify its own leadership. It needs to be made more coherent and clearer.

Its basic slogan states that “universalism” should no longer be understood as the equality of all before the law, regardless of origin, wealth and religion, but as the equal treatment that everyone can enjoy in whatever country they travel to. From this point of view, the real enemy is no longer the disorder and insecurity that it engenders, but the States that are supposed to protect us and abusively create differences between us according to our nationalities; excellent doctrine for a supranational State! (the US federal state, then the European federal state).

- At the sociological level, this ideology indiscriminately supports any form of migration (because it allows the disappearance of borders between men) and any gender confusion (because it allows the disappearance of inequalities based on physical differences).
- At the economic level, it militates for the free circulation of capital (which cannot be hindered by States) and the globalisation of trade (because it binds people through trade).
- On the military level, it supports the interference of the “international community” in “non-globalized states” (because they are resistant to the New Order) and the use of non-state armed forces (because some states must disappear).
- At the political level, it supports any global cause such as the fight against human responsibility for global warming. Ultimately, it rejects International Law (i.e., agreed upon by nations) in order to replace it with Global Law (i.e., binding on all) [1].

If the issue of migration has become taboo for the European elites after the failure of Chancellor Merkel in 2015, all other points are commonly accepted.
- Gender confusion, part of the gender parity and which continues today with the development of a transgender model. No one dares to observe any longer that parity in the Parliamentary Assemblies and Boards of Directors has not benefited the working classes at all, but only the elites. It is not clear why the shift from the integration of transsexuals to an apology for gender uncertainty will advance anything.
- The free movement of capital is one of the “Four Freedoms” established since the Single European Act (1986). It allows large companies to avoid national taxes, which is why everyone deplores it, but no one wants to abolish it. The globalisation of trade has destroyed millions of jobs in Europe and has begun to erode the middle classes [2].
- Military interference in non-globalized states is at the heart of the Rumsfeld/Cebrowski doctrine adopted by the United States in 2001. It is astounding that Western elites still seem to ignore it. For example, the release of a wide-ranging survey on the 18-year “failure” of the United States to pacify Afghanistan has generated a great deal of comment. But absolutely no one has dared to say that far from being a failure, it was the mission assigned in 2001 to the Pentagon by Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld; 18 years that the “Endless War” has been going on in more and more theatres of operation [3].
The use of non-state military forces has peaked with jihadist organizations. One of them -Daesh- even went so far as to take over a non-recognized state. It continues today with the official support of the European Union to a terrorist organization, the PKK, provided that it operates in Syria and not in Turkey [4].

The worst is to come with the invention of a Global Law.

Recent controversies in the UK illustrate this well. Attacks on the ‘toxic’ or ‘vitriolic’ language used by politicians are often accompanied by a censorious demand that certain words should not be used, and certain ideas should not be expressed.

Last month, former prime minister John Major laid into pro-Brexit members of parliament and current prime minister Boris Johnson for using the language of ‘hate’. Major was very precise in his outline of what words should not be used in public debate. He said that words like ‘saboteur’, ‘traitor’, ‘enemy’, ‘surrender’ and betrayal’, had ‘no place’ in the Conservative Party, in ‘our politics’, or in ‘our society’…

It is a sign of the times that the intervention of the police in the debate about political language was not viewed as unusual by media commentators. Thankfully, Britain is not a police state, so it is still rare for the police to lecture parliamentarians about the language they use and the ideas they express. And yet no one asked the question, ‘When did the police assume responsibility for telling politicians what they should and should not say?’…

The principal objective of the new policing of words is not to moderate political language but to control what can be said. Because if words like traitor, surrender or betrayal cannot be used in political discourse, then it actually becomes very difficult to express a particular idea — that certain forms of behaviour seem, to some people, to contradict Britain’s national and democratic interests. The elimination of these words would diminish the ideas that could be expressed in public life, especially in relation to Brexit. The call to modify public language is motivated by a desire to achieve a political aim…

I’ve read dozens of articles warning of Muslim immigrants rising up to take over the country, community by community, state by state. While I don’t doubt that some Muslims (maybe even a significant number) would like to see us fall to their swords, I wonder if there isn’t something even more sinister going on—something that also involves many of our actual government leaders and those who seek a different future for America.

What I’m talking about is a plan

 Pitting foreigners against Americans isn’t as far-fetched as you might think.  Before you, my favorite reader, write me off and send the boys in white to take me away, hear me out. It’s actually happened here before, not with Muslims, but with half-a-million foreign soldiers recruited to kill Americans—tens-of-thousands of them. What I’m referring to is the war between the states…the war of secession…the war of Northern aggression…or, as I like to call it, the War to defend Nullification.

This excerpt is from an article written by Don H. Doyle, an expert on the contributions of immigrants to the Union’s victory over the Confederate States:

“In the summer of 1861, an American diplomat in Turin, Italy, looked out the window of the U.S. legation to see hundreds of young men forming a sprawling line. Some wore red shirts, emblematic of the Garibaldini who, during their campaign in southern Italy, were known for pointing one finger in the air and shouting l’Italia Unità! (Italy United!). Now they wanted to volunteer to take up arms for l’America Unità!

Meanwhile, immigrants already in the United States responded to the call to arms in extraordinary numbers. In 1860, about 13% of the U.S. population was born overseas—roughly what it is today. One in every four members of the Union armed forces was an immigrant, some 543,000 of the more than 2 million Union soldiers by recent estimates. Another 18% had at least one foreign-born parent. Together, immigrants and the sons of immigrants made up about 43% of the U.S. armed forces.

America’s foreign legions gave the North an incalculable advantage. It could never have won without them.”

In addition to those recruited to come to the US to fight the Confederacy, thousands of Germans had already arrived here after their failed “Revolution of 1848.”

Today, our nation is being flooded with poorly-educated, unskilled men of military age.

 Let’s return to the writings of Don H. Doyle:

“In the 1860s, Confederate diplomats and supporters abroad were eager to inform Europeans that the North was actively recruiting their sons to serve as cannon fodder. In one pamphlet, Confederate envoy Edwin De Leon informed French readers that the Puritan North had built its army “in large part of foreign mercenaries” made up of “the refuse of the old world… Immigrants tended to be young and male.” (and I might add, unskilled at anything.)

What is the upside?

Haven’t we all marveled at why those in power in the US government (let’s just call them the Deep State) would bring in hundreds of thousands of uneducated and unskilled young men, of military age, often from regions that hate us? It can’t be cheap labor, because they can’t do anything of value. They’re no longer school-age, so educating and training them would be difficult. They don’t know our language, and they have no desire to assimilate. They disrespect, abuse, even rape and kill our women. Plus, it is damned expensive…

I’ll leave you to ponder this issue of young military-aged immigrants being intentionally introduced to our society, despite the human and financial costs they incur. Keep all of this in the back of your mind as you observe the machinations of our immigration system and the Deep State. Maybe you can fathom what is really going on behind the curtain.

What I’ve learned over the years is, if something seems to make no sense at all—then I don’t have all the information—because someone hasn’t coughed it up yet.

Insane belief #1: Men can become women by wishing it so

Nearly all Leftists literally believe there are more than two genders and that a person of one gender can magically transform into a completely different gender just by wishing. (See Gender.news for many examples.)

Yes, Leftists now believe that men can get pregnant and have babies, and children are being taught that there are an infinite number of genders when, in reality, there are only two. By the same token, children are also being taught that getting the right answer on a test question isn’t important anymore… it’s how you feel about your answer that’s the new “reality.”

Insane belief #2: Stock market crashes are a thing of the past

This belief afflicts nearly all the masses, the oblivious retail investors who stupidly think their pension funds and mutual fund investments will keep growing forever, with no retractions, corrections or crashes.

So they buy and buy even as we are in such overbought territory that all the professional investors are selling everything and heading to their cabins in the woods with bars of gold.

In 2020, the typical American is now in “full FOMO” mode (Fear Of Missing Out) and is almost fanatically plunging all assets into the stock market in a desperate effort to chase the irrational exuberance to its final, disastrous end.

When the day of reckoning comes for these markets, the masses will be destroyed. But if the Fed plays along with more money creation and spontaneous liquidity, that day may yet be delayed until perhaps 2021 (or not).

Insane Belief #3: The Earth will be destroyed in 10 years if we don’t stop using fossil fuels

AOC reminds us that we now have a clinically retarded lunatic as a member of Congress, and she quite literally believes the entire planet will cease to exist in just ten years if we don’t immediately stop burning fossil fuels. But she’s not alone: The incessant fearmongering of the journo-terrorism media has managed to transform all sorts of previously rational people into raving climate lunatics who, when they speak, sound dumber than dirt.

If we were to halt the use of fossil fuels, of course, the global food supply would almost immediately collapse, leading to mass starvation, disease and a population implosion. Perhaps this is what the globalists really want, it seems, since they keep demanding it at every turn.

What’s new in all this is the fact that climate lunatics are now terrorizing children, then holding them up as “warriors” to fight for “climate justice” when, in reality, they’re just terrorized, abused young people who will one day come to harshly resent how they were exploited and psychologically terrorized by left-wing lunatics for political gain.

Insane Belief #4: A human baby that’s born alive isn’t really “alive” until the mother decides she wants to keep it

According to the same lunatic Leftists who have decided that men can somehow become women by wishing for a sex change, human babies that are born alive and healthy aren’t really “alive” until the mother decides she wants to keep that baby. Until that moment comes, the mother, the doctor and apparently anyone in the room with a baseball bat can legally murder that child in the name of “progressivism,” Leftists insist.

This is the new culture of the mainstream Left: Infanticide and violence against human babies. Celebrated and applauded by all Democrats.

And they justify it all by claiming that Trump is bad, therefore murdering babies makes it all even, somehow. Yes, it’s insane, but this is how the Left thinks. And it brings up the question: If these people are willing to murder their own children, do you really think they will hesitate to murder their political opponents if given the opportunity?

Keep that in mind the next time some baby-killing Governor (Northam, anyone?) announces he’s coming for your guns. Heck, they probably need your guns to help them execute all the children they plan to kill in the hospitals, while Michelle Wolf celebrates how killing babies makes her feel “like God.”

Insane Belief #5: Flat Earth

Yes, in the year 2020, we still have millions of Americans who quite literally believe the Earth is flat… like a disc floating in space. They also believe the sun and moon are discs, and that satellites don’t exist, and that gravity isn’t real.

And they are rather fanatical about these beliefs, convincing themselves that there is a global conspiracy to silence the truth about the “flat Earth” in order to prevent humans from discovering the edges where you can step off into outer space… or something.

I recently posted a detailed science article explaining what Flat Earthers get wrong about gravity and elliptical orbits, but it doesn’t matter what you say to them: They’re happy to redefine Kepler’s laws of motion, or Newton’s laws, or Einstein’s equations, or whatever it takes to pretend the Earth is a flat disc and all space flight was faked on a green screen stage in Hollywood.

At least the Flat Earthers aren’t fascists who demand we give up combustion engines or something, like AOC. Mostly, the Flat Earth movement is all about a “thought experiment,” but they aren’t dangerous like Leftists who want to murder children and collapse entire economies. If we had Flat Earthers in congress instead of climate lunatics, we’d actually be better off, come to think of it. And elections would be far more entertaining.

Insane Belief #6: All vaccines are safe, because somebody on the news said so

It’s amazing how many people still believe vaccines are safe, even when the federal government itself publishes vaccine damage statistics and details of the billions of dollars in payouts that have been made to the families of vaccine-damaged children. Yes, vaccines kill children and adults, too. Vaccines use toxic ingredients, and they contain the genetically modified DNA of aborted humans who were altered to activate cancer genes.

Yes, the CDC openly admits vaccines contain neurotoxic substances such as formaldehyde, mercury, squalene and aluminum. There is no debate that vaccines carry risk of harm and manage to harm a great number of children each year, yet many American adults who consider themselves to be “informed” have no clue of this reality.

That’s because anyone who talks about vaccine safety is immediately de-platformed from all the major tech platforms. And that’s happening because the vaccine deep state is run by the same CIA that runs the tech giants, and they’re using vaccines as a depopulation bioweapon against humanity, right now at this very moment. Insane Belief #7: The mainstream media tells the truth, or at least tries to

Of all the really stupid beliefs held by modern Americans, the belief that the mainstream media is even attempting to tell the truth is among the most insane. It’s not just that CNN, the NYT, the WashPost, MSNBC, etc., get every major story wrong, it’s the fact that they intend to lie to their audiences.

For years, they’ve peddled false conspiracies about Russia and election meddling, always running cover for Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden and the deep state, while knowingly publishing damned lies about Trump and his supporters.

The corporate media in America is, plainly stated, openly engaged in criminal treason against the United States of America, yet there are still a (shrinking number of) morons who can somehow watch CNN’s Brian Stelter and not laugh out loud or puke all over themselves.

I’m not sure which is shrinking faster: CNN’s audience, or the brains of the remaining few who somehow still watch CNN.

Insane Belief #8: Food isn’t medicine, and “real” medicine can only be acquired from pharmacies

Despite all the remarkable research about healing foods, nutrients, disease prevention, superfoods and “miraculous” food cures, there are still people — many of them are doctors — who think the only “real” medicine comes from a pharmacy.

Somehow, we are entering the decade of 2020 while millions of people still carry a belief system from the 1950s, when it was widely believed there were just four vitamins, and food was thought to be useless in promoting good health.

Now, of course, we know the truth: Pharmaceuticals are fake medicine, and food is the real medicine. If you’re not preventing disease and healing yourself through food, you’re not really up to speed on what modern science has documented about food as medicine.

Insane Belief #9: All white people are evil, and the only “experts” in the world are children

This is a two-fer: The insane, delusional Left has now convinced millions of people that all white people are evil, but also that children are the new “experts” on things like gun control and climate change.

Yep, adults are stupid and children have all the answers. Is this a freaking Disney movie? Nope, it’s the new narrative of the retarded Left, which thinks a 16-year-old girl whose mother claims she can literally see carbon dioxide — an invisible gas — is now a more credible “expert” than a 30-year scientist and expert in atmospheric chemistry.

And if you put up a poster that says, “It’s okay to be white,” you are immediately accused of hate crimes. Yes, it’s okay to be black, and it’s okay to be brown, but it’s never okay to be white in today’s insane “progressive” society defined by left-wing bigotry, racism and hate.

And if you’re Asian, the entire left-wing university system will brazenly discriminate against you for being too smart, making sure they can usher in a bunch of unqualified minorities who can’t compete with Asians when it comes to cognitive tests, so they’re given bonus points for “social justice,” whatever that means.

As we enter the 2020s, I do want to welcome all the Asians to the club, where we are all called “racists” by the very libtard lunatics whose policies are, by definition, the most racist of all. Just remember, if you don’t agree with everything a Leftist says, you are engaged in hate speech.

Insane Belief #10: The world as you know it is sustainable and normal, and nothing will collapse because that’s unimaginable

Finally, the really big false belief is summarized by the phrase, “normalcy bias.” People think the world will always operate as it does now because that’s all they know. They are incapable of imagining anything else, such as a grid down collapse, an economic collapse, World War III, a civil war on the streets of America, a food collapse followed by mass starvation, visitation by aliens and so on.

So they lead their pointless lives as sheeple living out some sort of mad experiment in shared insanity, oblivious to the reality that almost everything they think is permanent is actually headed for collapse.

Much of what currently functions in the world is entirely unsustainable, and that means it must come to an end.

Endless money creation must come to an end. Government debt spending must come to an end. The loss of fossil water to irrigate food crops must come to an end. The ecological destruction of the planet will eventually collapse the food supply on which we depend. The pensions will collapse once the market corrects. The dollar will eventually be abandoned as a failed fiat currency. The nuclear power plants will eventually fail and melt down, perhaps following a severe earthquake that already places multiple nuke plants in California in the direct line of fire.

You get the point. The history of our world has rarely seen as long a run of peace and prosperity as the one we are currently experiencing. Most of human history has been punctuated by genocide, democide, world wars and economic collapse. The fool thinks that’s all “history” now, and modern humans finally have it all figured out, but the wise person knows that history repeats itself.

The Fourth Turning isn’t a myth, it’s a cycle…
