The Rutherford Institute :: From Boston to Ferguson to Charlottesville: The Evolution of a Police State Lockdown |

Posted by M. C. on August 14, 2018

Remember, a police state does not come about overnight.

It starts small, perhaps with a revenue-generating red light camera at an intersection.

When that is implemented without opposition, perhaps next will be surveillance cameras on public streets. License plate readers on police cruisers. More police officers on the beat. Free military equipment from the federal government. Free speech zones and zero tolerance policies and curfews. SWAT team raids. Drones flying overhead. City-wide lockdowns.

No matter how it starts, however, it always ends the same.

By John W. Whitehead

“It takes a remarkable force to keep nearly a million people quietly indoors for an entire day, home from work and school, from neighborhood errands and out-of-town travel. It takes a remarkable force to keep businesses closed and cars off the road, to keep playgrounds empty and porches unused across a densely populated place 125 square miles in size. This happened … not because armed officers went door-to-door, or imposed a curfew, or threatened martial law. All around the region, for 13 hours, people locked up their businesses and ‘sheltered in place’ out of a kind of collective will. The force that kept them there wasn’t external – there was virtually no active enforcement across the city of the governor’s plea that people stay indoors. Rather, the pressure was an internal one – expressed as concern, or helpfulness, or in some cases, fear – felt in thousands of individual homes.”—Journalist Emily Badger, “The Psychology of a Citywide Lockdown”

It has become way too easy to lockdown this nation. Read the rest of this entry »

bionic mosquito: The Fog Slowly Lifts…

Posted by M. C. on September 9, 2017

An interesting turnabout in antifa coverage and intriguing theory on why the movement exists.

https://bionicmosquito.blogspot.com.tr/2017/09/the-fog-slowly-lifts.html

I refer to the events in Berkeley about ten days ago: Trump supporters planned an event; antifa crashed the event and began their chaotic violence. As I felt at the time, the news to me was not so much the news; the news was how the news was covered.

I wrote something on the events the day after, based on a report from the Los Angeles Times. The Times placed the blame on the left and antifa, and not on the right and Trump supporters (aka fascists, Nazis). This was quite surprising to me at the time, considering the completely opposite narrative a couple of weeks earlier after Charlottesville. Read the rest of this entry »

Charlottesville Donnybrook

Posted by M. C. on August 23, 2017

That aroma is called “Setup!”.

Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe said: “There has got to be a movement in this country to bring people together. The hatred and rhetoric that has gone on and has intensified over the last couple months is dividing this great nation.” He denounced “the white supremacists and the Nazis.” However, when asked a question about whether he would include the left-wing, pro-violence antifa in his condemnation, he ignored the question and walked out of the room. We’re All Racists Now – Oh, The Irony

Posted by M. C. on August 21, 2017

https://www.lewrockwell.com/2017/08/luis-p-almeida/were-all-racists-now/

Over the past few days, it has become apparent on social media that defending non-aggression and freedom of speech is now cause for being branded with a Swastika. The self-proclaimed champions of equality and justice are no longer maintaining the illusion that they tolerate opinions other than their own. In fact, they seem to be openly comfortable suppressing those opinions by any means necessary. Their current stance is that anyone that does not pull a ski mask over their heads, pick up a baseball bat and fall in line behind them is racist at best and most likely a Nazi. They have moved past questioning our ideas to issuing personal threats of violence, which in their fanaticism are completely justified.

Those championing free speech are shouted down and physically attacked by liberal progressives. Free speech (That is, not the correct free speech) advocates are now Nazis.

The irony is obvious to anyone who gives it a moments thought. Why don’t we read about the obvious?

The media are busy catering to social justice warriors and snowflakes with an if it bleeds it leads mentality. It has neither the inclination let alone courage to buck the Soros funded bandwagon. The media feeds the bandwagon mules.

Soros, he whose name cannot be spoken by his media. The media is his Gollum.

Something stinks about Charlottesville

Posted by M. C. on August 20, 2017

Evidence is turning up from, of all places, the Southern Poverty Law Center, as well as Breitbart and others, that this character, Jason Kessler, who organized the suspicious and supposed Alt-Right demonstration in Charlottesville, Va. that blew up in everyone’s face, is a cunning lefty holdover from the Occupy Wall Street movement and a former Barack Obama supporter.  I smell Soros money, sabotage, and Democrat dirty tricks here. CNN Calls Anyone Who Disagrees With Them a Fascist | Armstrong Economics

Posted by M. C. on August 18, 2017

I just had a conversation with a friend regarding labels, what they mean and the people that USE them.  CNN is a good illustration.

Labels like alt this, hate crime that are used to make others think the purveyors of such terms know what they are talking and are therefore actually doing something.

When a vote counting prosecutor says I am treating this murder as a hate crime what does that really mean? Does it mean other murders will get put on the back burner. Is my getting murdered more of a crime than you getting murdered? If you or I are a member of the oppressed group du jour, then yes. Read the rest of this entry »

Fact vs. Fiction

Posted by M. C. on August 17, 2017

Just remember there is only one side to every story.

https://www.lewrockwell.com/2017/08/jack-kerwick/fact-vs-fiction/

First, while there were indeed some self-styled neo-Nazis that were present among the rally’s attendees, they were, by all appearances, a tiny minority.  And they constituted a far smaller fraction of the totality of the group than, say, that which on multiple occasions comprised the totality of Black Lives Matter demonstrators that marched through busy city streets shouting such murderous slogans as, “What do we want? Dead cops! When do we want it? Now!” and “Pigs in a blanket, fry them like bacon!” Read the rest of this entry »

I don’t know what happened in Charlottesville, but here is a view you are unlikely to hear from the media:

Posted by M. C. on August 13, 2017

What’s clear from all this so far, by the way, is that militant left-wing extremists are now attempting to exterminate White culture in America. All the “tolerance” and “diversity” of the Left, it turns out, excludes straight white Christian males, all of whom are denigrated, suppressed and demeaned by the insane left-wing mob whose exclusionary ideas are, by definition, racist and bigoted.

“We either have free speech or we have blood in the streets,” explains Stefan Molyneux, conforming what I’ve also said which is that Google, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter censorship targeting conservative voices is actually a root cause of the escalation of all this violence and social unrest.
