BUT, radical environmentalists don’t want that solution, and they never will. They want nothing short of environmental devastation, ultimately forcing humans on a depopulated planet to go back to living in the woods and digging for roots and tubers. AKA, “the natural life.”
“Hey Mike, make up an order of eight pounds of baloney to go.”
“Sure. You want the cheap stuff?”
“No, no. This is for the upcoming election. I need the good brand.”
“Are you lying about your opponent or pumping up the moron in your own Party?”
“Both.”
“OK, that’s the Special. I have to order it. It’ll take three days.”
Trends and memes come and go.
At one time, you’d see: TOP TEN REASONS WHY…
That faded out.
Now, we get: THE FIVE STAGES OF…
So I’m chiming in with my own big five stages.
ONE: You conceive the idea of creating baloney.
TWO: You pick an issue around which you’re going to wrap baloney.
THREE: You make the baloney.
FOUR: You wrap it around the issue.
FIVE: You sell it to a hungry audience.
But it’s still baloney.
In the field of propaganda, baloney acquires its value from the “vital” issue it’s wrapped around. Climate change, for example.
Come closer. Shh. Here’s the secret. Here’s the trick. When you perform it adroitly, the issue ITSELF is baloney to begin with. Once you’ve sold that, you can surround it with many more layers of baloney (like tree rings).
“Well, it’s a real issue, but the nonsense accumulating around it is pathetic.”
No. In certain key instances, the core issue isn’t real. A good pro knows how to wrap baloney around baloney. That’s why he earns his big paycheck.
Take racism. It’s presently defined as WHITE PEOPLE. ALL WHITE PEOPLE ARE RACISTS. That’s the issue. It’s framed in universal terms. No exceptions. It’s baloney.
Instead of training in military pursuits, personell are learning all about racism, sexism, ableism, ageism and all the rest. Rather than learning how to be better soldiers, sailors, marines, pilots, they are being educated in wokism. At this rate, after their military service is over, they will be good candidates to get jobs in higher education where they can bully professors for engaging in micro-aggressions.
I’ve done it. I’ve finally done it. I’ve finally converted to wokeism. Count me now amongst all of my new friends on the left in favor of cancel culture, transgenderism, intersectionality, BLM, stamping out micro-aggressions, critical race theory, Marxism, and calling for diversity, inclusion and equity rather than ability to do a job. I now see systematic racism as the source of all evil. I now apologize for being a white heterosexual male.. (It is a bit inadvertent; I can’t help it; well, I suppose I could work on the sexual part, but, I’m not inclined to go that far. I’m not known far and wide – at least in my own mind – as Walter Moderate Block, for nothing at all). I’m now a liberal, a socialist, a communist, a collectivist, a pinko, a leftie, a progressive. I hereby apologize, profusely, for, yes, I admit it, being a member of the ruling class thanks to being supremely white and cis-gendered. (See how I can now spout the correct lingo!)
What turned me around on this? What made me see the light on this matter? What was the turning point for me on my road to Damascus?
It was the woke military of the U.S. I finally woke up (pardon the pun) to the fact that the armed forces of this nation are themselves waking up, and that this is an altogether a good thing. No, scratch that. A very, very good thing.
The Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines started weakening themselves by welcoming homosexuals. Then, they followed through by inviting women into their ranks, with roughly the same results, although for obviously different reasons. The latest wakefulness of these organizations is that they have embraced the explicit wokeist philosophy. The same thing seems to be occurring north of our border, and this, too, is all to the good: Canada has almost always been a junior partner in US expansionism.
Instead of training in military pursuits, personell are learning all about racism, sexism, ableism, ageism and all the rest. Space Force Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier, commander of his squadron, objected to this new initiative. He was fired for writing a book mentioning these concerns of his: “Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military.” In this book he criticized, among many other things the 1619 project of the New York Times. That’s a bad book, based on this new philosophy.
Want to hear about a good book? The US Chief of Naval Operations has recommended on his professional reading list for sailors, How to Be an Antiracist, by Ibram X. Kendi. This is a publication that proposes future discrimination against white people.
But these are only the tips of the iceberg, matters for headlines. The actual day to day training of army personal is ongoing, comprehensive and supremely woke.
Why is this all to the good? That is because the main function of these people is not to defend the home country, but, rather, to roam around the world trying to export democracy to the entire planet. To this end, there are some 800 military bases located in about 130 different countries. Since there are only roughly 200 nations on the entire planet, this constitutes a clear majority of them.
Has U.S. military imperialism been a force for good? That is a difficult position to defend. Had this country not entered world war I, the two sides would have run out of soldiers, on both sides, thanks to losses in trench warfare. There never would have been a Treaty of Versailles, which led to the German hyper-inflation of 1923, which eventuated in the rise of Hitler, the Nazi party, communism and world war II. It is difficult to see what the U.S. sojourns in VietNam did any good for the world. The same holds true for the American fighting presence in Afghanistan for almost two decades. Now, the neo-con warmongers are pushing for entry into the Russian – Ukrainian fracas even though, again, US foreign policy – pushing Nato to the very border of Russia – was to blame..
However, thanks to the weakening of the U.S. military (hey, we can still kick Grenadian butt), it becomes less and less likely that this institution will intervene. So, let us raise a glass to wokeism in our armed forces. That is perhaps not the best route to world peace, but beggars can’t be choosers. The less power wielded by the US the more likely we are to be saved from thermo-nuclear war. We always have to be ready to welcome strange bed-fellows. Yay, wokism. Three cheers, not two.
National Assessment of Educational Progress indicates that, as of 2019, only 37 percent of American high school seniors were proficient in reading. The results drop to 24 percent in math and 22 percent in science. The root of the problem is government’s near monopoly of education…
The introduction of politicized education ideas like “critical race theory” into the curriculum of government schools is a major reason for American public school systems’ decline. In many schools, political agendas have been crowding out what many parents understand as the primary purpose of schools — educating students in core subjects such as reading, mathematics, and science.
US government data from the National Assessment of Educational Progress indicates that, as of 2019, only 37 percent of American high school seniors were proficient in reading. The results drop to 24 percent in math and 22 percent in science. The root of the problem is government’s near monopoly of education that means there is little to no incentive to stop federal, state, and local “educrats” from imposing the latest education fads on students. Any attempts by government to “fix” education, such as No Child Left Behind or Common Core, inevitably fail.
The replacement of education with indoctrination is one reasons many parents are pulling their children out of public schools to homeschool. Of course, one main reason for the growth in homeschooling is the covid lockdowns and mask and vaccine mandates. Restrictions at schools have been especially absurd since children have tended to be in little danger from covid.
Homeschooling is legal in all 50 states. However, the authoritarians who believe children’s education must be controlled by “experts” are constantly trying to undermine homeschoolers. Sometimes homeschoolers’ enemies are aided by well-intentioned homeschooling supporters. For example, there is a bill pending in the Alabama state legislature that would make homeschoolers eligible for taxpayer funding. Homeschooling advocates supporting this bill forget that government funding is inevitably accompanied by government control. Thus, any homeschooling family that accepts government money is inviting the government to tell them how to educate their children. Further, some school districts use truancy laws to harass homeschoolers. States also make parents prove homeschool students are receiving an education that meets state standards.
Fortunately, as homeschooling has become a more popular choice, many new resources have become available to aid parents who desire to homeschool their children. Among these resources is the Ron Paul Curriculum.
Students using my homeschooling curriculum can attain a superior education in comparison to standards set by politicians or bureaucrats. Instead of indoctrinating students with instruction in subjects including critical race theory, my curriculum provides students with a solid education in history, literature, mathematics, and the sciences. It also gives students the opportunity to create their own websites and internet-based businesses. The curriculum is designed to be self-taught, with students helping and learning from each other via online forums.
Starting in fourth grade, students are required to write at least one essay a week. Students are required to post their essays on their blogs. Students also take a course in public speaking.
The curriculum does emphasize the history, philosophy, and economics of liberty, but it never substitutes indoctrination for education. The goal is to produce students with superior critical thinking skills who can thrive with their individuality.
If you think my curriculum may meet the needs of your child, please visit www.RonPaulCurriculum.com for more information.
A new memo shows that Attorney General Merrick Garland lied to Congress about the FBI snooping on parent groups upset with local school boards for their use of Critical Race Theory in the classroom. If so, it doesn’t warrant a slap on the hand, but swift removal from office.
Presidents deserve to have the people they nominate serve their entire term. But that’s not the case when that person lies under oath to Congress and, by extension, the American people. That’s a criminal offense.
This allegation comes from an official letter sent to the Justice Department by Rep. Jim Jordan, ranking GOP member of the House Judiciary Committee, in response to an email from a whistleblower.
If you’ll recall, on Oct. 21, Garland appeared before Congress and said he couldn’t “imagine any circumstances in which the Patriot Act would be used in the circumstances of parents complaining about their children, nor … a circumstance where they would be labeled as domestic terrorists.”
He went on to say, “I do not think that parents getting angry at school boards for whatever reason constitute domestic terrorism. It’s not even a close question.”
The new information directly contradicts Garland’s sworn testimony.
This is the smoking gun. Attorney General Garland provided zero evidence that parents are engaging in credible threats or acts of violence. And yet, he mobilized the FBI Counterterrorism Division to use counterterrorism tools for investigating, tracking, and tagging parents. pic.twitter.com/PHpVIqvlBw — Christopher F. Merrick’s daughter, Rebecca Garland, is married to the co-founder of an education resource company that pushes critical race theory – which angry parents across the country are protesting. Taking matters into his own hands, AG Garland tapped the FBI on Monday to huddle with local leaders to address a “disturbing spike in harassment, intimidation, and threats of violence” against teachers and school board members.
House Republicans in the Judiciary Committee have sent a Tuesday letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland after an FBI whistleblower provided ‘a protected disclosure’ revealing that “the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division is compiling and categorizing threat assessments related to parents, including a document directing FBI personnel to use a specific “threat tag” to track potential investigations.”
The evidence – an email sent the day before Garland testified on October 21 – “referenced your October 4 directive to the FBI to address school board threats and notified FBI personnel about a new “threat tag” created by the Counterterrorism and Criminal Divisions.“
“This disclosure provides specific evidence that federal law enforcement operationalized counterterrorism tools at the behest of a left-wing special interest group against concerned parents,” the letter continues.

Garland notably came under fire last month during Congressional Testimony, where he denied “weaponizing” the FBI against parents opposed to Critical Race Theory and vaccine related mandates – using a flimsy memo from the National School Boards Association as justification. Of note, neither the memo nor the DOJ have provided specific examples of alleged ‘threats’ against school administrators.
The controversy began on Oct. 4, when Garland announced a concentrated effort to target ‘any threats of violence, intimidation, and harassment’ by parents toward school personnel. The disclosurecame days after a national association of school boards asked the Biden administration to take “extraordinary measures” to prevent alleged threats against school staff that the association said was coming from parents who oppose mask mandates and the teaching of critical race theory.
According to the DOJ, a task was to be assembled to determine how to use federal resources to prosecute offending parents as well as how to advise state entities on prosecutions in cases where no federal law is broken. The Justice Department will also provide training to school staff on how to report threats from parents and preserve evidence to aid in investigation and prosecution.
In short:
Critical race theory isn’t real and isn’t being taught and you’ll be labeled a terrorist by the intelligence community if you say otherwise https://t.co/jsQrlfFUi9 — Oilfield Rando (@Oilfield_Rando) November 16, 2021
Conflict of interest…
As we noted at the time, when it comes to conflicts of interest, Attorney General Merrick Garland appears to have a huge one.
Well, well, well… This is interesting. U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland recently instructed the FBI to begin investigating parents who confront school board administrators over Critical Race Theory indoctrination material. The U.S. Department of Justice issued a memorandum to the FBI instructing them to initiate investigations of any parent attending a local school board meeting who might be viewed as confrontational, intimidating or harassing.
Attorney General Merrick Garland’s daughter is Rebecca Garland. In 2018 Rebecca Garland married Xan Tanner [LINK]. Mr. Xan Tanner is the current co-founder of a controversial education service company called Panorama Education. [LINK and LINK] Panorama Education is the “social learning” resource material provider to school districts and teachers that teach Critical Race Theory.
In short, absolutely nobody’s watching the watchers.
Big Pharma Merck is set to rake in billions of dollars from its new “not-ivermectin” Covid treatment – despite the US taxpayer paying for the drug’s original development. Also today – no wonder Attorney General Merrick Garland loves Critical Race Theory: His family is set to make big bucks from pushing the curriculum to classrooms across the country.
President Biden’s “Justice” Department has directed the FBI to investigate parents attending school board meetings to protest mandatory mask mandates and the teaching of Marxist “Critical Race Theory” for possible “domestic terrorism.” Is this about protecting school boards…or silencing political opposition? Also today, the debate over “natural immunity” is heating up.
The letter of resignation below represents today the feelings of about just the entire US military according to our sources. Our heroic soldiers have had just about as much as they can take from our woke government and their imposition of woke perversions on the military as sodomy, abortion, critical race theory and transgenderism.
The letter of resignation below represents today the feelings of about just the entire US military according to our sources. Our heroic soldiers have had just about as much as they can take from our woke government and their imposition of woke perversions on the military as sodomy, abortion, critical race theory and transgenderism. We saw the likes of this in the similarly rotten and corrupt Weimar Republic though the German military was largely unaffected where Prussianism prevailed. I always thought that 1933 Germany required the Versailles Treaty, the hyperinflation of 1920-1923, and a 1929-1933 depression culminating in 50% German unemployment to create the National Socialist Revolution but this may not be the case as we watch the US morally implode into an Aldous Huxley medical dictatorship under an Orwellian Animal Farm under the most degraded values in history. Here mass abortion has killed in the US alone 60 million souls not to speak of our US influence on the 1.5 billion abortion murders worldwide not including the after morning pill.
The following quote was taken from an RT article by Chris Hedges that appeared today that complements my points. As my above articles just above points out that Brzezinski lured the Russians into Afghanistan and here was the cost:
One million Afghan civilians were killed in the nine-year conflict with the Soviets, along with 90,000 mujahideen fighters, 18,000 Afghan troops, and 14,500 Soviet soldiers. But these deaths, along with the destruction of Afghanistan, were “worth it” to cripple the Soviets.
Jimmy Carter’s national security advisor, Zbigniew Brzezinski, along with Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agency, oversaw the arming of the most radical Islamic mujahideen groups fighting the Soviet occupation forces, leading to the extinguishing of the secular, democratic Afghan opposition. Brzezinski detailed the strategy – designed, he said, to give the Soviet Union its Vietnam – taken by the Carter administration following the 1979 Soviet invasion to prop up the Marxist regime of Hafizullah Amin in Kabul:
We immediately launched a twofold process when we heard that the Soviets had entered Afghanistan. The first involved direct reactions and sanctions focused on the Soviet Union, and both the State Department and the National Security Agency prepared long lists of sanctions to be adopted, of steps to be taken to increase the international costs to the Soviet Union of their actions. And the second course of action led to my going to Pakistan a month or so after the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, for the purpose of coordinating with the Pakistanis a joint response, the purpose of which would be to make the Soviets bleed for as much and as long as is possible; and we engaged in that effort in a collaborative sense with the Saudis, the Egyptians, the British, the Chinese, and we started providing weapons to the Mujaheddin, from various sources again — for example, some Soviet arms from the Egyptians and the Chinese. We even got Soviet arms from the Czechoslovak communist government, since it was obviously susceptible to material incentives; and at some point we started buying arms for the Mujahideen from the Soviet army in Afghanistan, because that army was increasingly corrupt.
Next Hedges writes about the Afghanistan heroin war that was justified by 9-11 that no one in Afghanistan was involved in. The CIA brought us in there for only one purpose which was to restart the heroin. As my heroin war pieces point out, no member of Islam was involved in 9-11 but we invaded Afghanistan for the only purpose which was to restart the heroin production shut down by Mullah Omar which was a righteous act. Here is the cost of the Afghanistan War Two.
Here Chris Hedges:
Things are already dire. There are some 14 million Afghans – one in three – who lack sufficient food. There are two million Afghan children who are malnourished. There are 3.5 million people in Afghanistan who have been displaced from their homes. The war has wrecked infrastructure. A drought destroyed 40 percent of the nation’s crops last year. The assault on the Afghan economy is already seeing food prices skyrocket. The sanctions and severance of aid will force civil servants to go without salaries, and the health service, already chronically short of medicine and equipment, will collapse. The suffering orchestrated by the empire will be of biblical proportions. And this is what the empire wants.
UNICEF estimates that 500,000 children were killed as a direct result of sanctions on Iraq. Expect child deaths in Afghanistan to soar above that horrifying figure. And expect the same imperial heartlessness Madeleine Albright, then the US ambassador to the United Nations, exhibited when she told ‘60 Minutes’ correspondent Lesley Stahl that the deaths of half a million Iraqi children because of the sanctions were “worth it.” Or the heartlessness of Hillary Clinton, who joked, “We came, we saw, he died” when informed of Libyan leader Muammar al-Qaddafi’s brutal death. Or the demand by Democratic Senator Zell Miller of Georgia, who after the attacks of 9/11 declared: “I say, bomb the hell out of them. If there’s collateral damage, so be it.” No matter that the empire has since turned Libya, along with Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and Yemen, into cauldrons of violence, chaos, and misery. The power to destroy is an intoxicating drug that is its own justification.
Murdering innocent civilians in war did not start in Afghanistan or Vietnam, or Korea but in World War Two. It was not US policy in World War One for its soldiers to kill women and children as we did at Hiroshima and Nagasaki which were not military targets. Secretary of State James Byrnes persuaded Truman to nuclear bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki to deter Stalin from overrunning Europe as our forces could not hold back the Russian Army which had faced 80% of the German Army finest divisions whereas the US faced at Normandy and in Europe largely the rump of the German Army except at the Battle of the Bulge where we suffered an attack by crack German Panzer divisions brought from the Eastern Front. Hitler rolled the dice in an attempt to cut off the bulk of the Anglo-Saxon Army that required capturing allied fuel depots. Germany largely lost the war based on lack of oil. It was a close call anyway as they came near to some major oil depots. Allied forces suffered over 75,000 casualties.
“The Cherwell memo described in quantitative terms the effect on Germany of the British bombing offensive on Germany between March, 1942-September, 1943. This paper laid down the strategic policy. The bombing must be directed essentially against German working class houses. Middle-class houses have too much space around them, and so are bound to waste bombs; factories and “military objectives” had long since been forgotten, except in official bulletins, since they were much too difficult to hit. (The meaning here is that more women and children could be murdered per bomb for lower classes as their homes were closer together.) The paper claimed that–given a total concentration of effort on the production and use of bombing aircraft–it would be possible, in all German towns (that is, those with more than 50,000 inhabitants), to destroy 50% of the houses.”
The US Air Force General Jimmy Doolittle vehemently opposed bombing women and children unlike General Curtis Lemay who supervised the nuclear attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
These professors are concerned that parents will make teaching children what the left wants them to learn impossible, and Elizabeth Bartholet, a Harvard Law School professor and director of its Child Advocacy Program, warned that kids are in danger of teaching their children “conservative Christian beliefs” specifically.
The COVID-19 pandemic brought with it a myriad of consequences to our society, but not every effect was negative. One such result was a dramatic increase in homeschooling, and especially in households that the left may not like.
According to the Associated Press, parents took their children’s education into their own hands and found that their children seemed to be performing much better under their own tutelage than under the public school system’s. The surge itself was confirmed by the U.S. Census Bureau that reported homeschooling more than doubled between March and September of 2020, going from 5.4 percent to 11 percent.
The biggest jump of all? The AP reported that black households skyrocketed from the single digits to the double. What’s more, some are motivated by religious reasoning:
Black households saw the largest jump; their homeschooling rate rose from 3.3% in the spring of 2020 to 16.1% in the fall.
The parents in one of those households, Arlena and Robert Brown of Austin, Texas, had three children in elementary school when the pandemic took hold. After experimenting with virtual learning, the couple opted to try homeschooling with a Catholic-oriented curriculum provided by Seton Home Study School, which serves about 16,000 students nationwide.
The Browns plan to continue homeschooling for the coming year, grateful that they can tailor the curriculum to fit their children’s distinctive needs. Jacoby, 11, has been diagnosed with narcolepsy and sometimes needs naps during the day; Riley, 10, has tested as academically gifted; Felicity, 9, has a learning disability.
“I didn’t want my kids to become a statistic and not meet their full potential,” said Robert Brown, a former teacher who now does consulting. “And we wanted them to have very solid understanding of their faith.”
Another parent in a black household, Angela Valentine, felt the need to keep homeschooling her child due to her son, Dorian, being the only black child at a school. The isolation he was experiencing was getting to him and so she now teaches him about black history and culture while homeschooling.
“I felt the burden of making the shift, making sure we’re making the right choices,” Valentine said. “But until we’re really comfortable with his learning environment, we’ll stay on this homeschool journey.”
Homeschooling also allows parents to conform the learning to their children’s needs instead of the children having to conform to the one-size-fits-all style of learning public schooling forces on children. AP reports one parent has a child with Down syndrome and noticed that her progress at home was better than her progress in virtual learning. They ended up doing the same for her son Noah, and the classes went so well that they decided to continue for the next few years.
“He told me he was learning so much more at home than he ever did in school,” Osgood told the AP. “He said, ‘School is just so chaotic — we don’t get very much done in any particular class. Here, I sit down, you tell me what to do, and minutes later I’m done.’”
Other families have weighed in, noting that their children excelled better at home, and learned far more than they did at public school.
While this is all well and good, parents should likely not get comfortable. Many are just getting into the homeschooling life but they should be aware that there is a war on homeschooling going on. Many on the left would rather see homeschooling made illegal, and Harvard professors are already making the case for this as mainstream media sources applaud and echo them.
These professors are concerned that parents will make teaching children what the left wants them to learn impossible, and Elizabeth Bartholet, a Harvard Law School professor and director of its Child Advocacy Program, warned that kids are in danger of teaching their children “conservative Christian beliefs” specifically.
Right now, American parents are at war with many educational bureaucracies attempting to push left-leaning ideological extremism on their children through Critical Race Theory. As RedState has previously covered, the people leading the CRT charge have direct connections to top members of the Department of Education, and the movement is on to create radical leftist ideologues out of your children.
