Do Spies Run the World?, by Israel Shamir – The Unz Review

Posted by M. C. on May 23, 2019

http://www.unz.com/ishamir/do-spies-run-the-world/

Jeeves, the excellent valet of Mr Wooster, had an ace up his sleeve: if going was tough, he had used his access to the records of the Junior Ganymede club, and there he could find embarrassing stuff against anybody who had ever employed a valet or a butler, for these gentleman’s gentlemen were obliged to inscribe in the club’s book all imprudent exploits of their masters. Thanks to this inside knowledge, Jeeves had saved his meek master, Mr Bertie Wooster from the bully.

Jeeves was a modest man, and feudally loyal to his hare-brained master; so were other members of the Junior Ganymede. They didn’t try to turn the club book into a tool to wrench control over England from the Buckingham Palace. However, we live in the age of great ambitions, unhindered by excessive loyalty. The valets, butlers, and bodyguards pooled their forces and decided to run the world.

Conspiratorially-minded writers envisaged the Shadow World Government as a board of evil sages surrounded by the financiers and cinema moguls. That would be bad enough; in infinitely worse reality, our world is run by the Junior Ganymede that went berserk. It is not a government, but a network, like freemasonry of old, and it consists chiefly of treacherous spies and pens-for-hire, two kinds of service personnel, that collected a lot of data and tools of influence, and instead of serving their masters loyally, had decided to lead the world in the direction they prefer.

German Admiral Wilhelm Canaris, the last head of the Abwehr, Hitler’s Military Intelligence, had been such a spy with political ambitions. He supported Hitler as the mighty enemy of Communism; on a certain stage he came to conclusion that the US will do the job better and switched to the Anglo-American side. He was uncovered and executed for treason. His colleague General Reinhard Gehlen also betrayed his Führer and had switched to the American side. After the war, he continued his war against Soviet Russia, this time for CIA instead of Abwehr.

The spies are treacherous by their nature. Read the rest of this entry »

NBC Journalist Quits Then Blows The Whistle On How Mainstream Media Deceives The Public – Collective Evolution

Posted by M. C. on May 21, 2019

https://www.collective-evolution.com/2019/01/05/nbc-journalist-quits-then-blows-the-whistle-on-how-mainstream-media-deceives-the-public/

By

In Brief

  • The Facts:William Arkin, a longtime well known military and war reporter who is best known for his groundbreaking, three-part Washington Post series in 2010 has gone public outing NBC/MSNBC as completely fake government run agencies.
  • Reflect On:With so many examples showing how mainstream media in the west has been manipulating and molding the minds of the masses on various topics, why do people still deem this a ‘conspiracy theory?’

Confusion can arise when trying to understand why millions of people still tune into mainstream media. Because of this, they (mainstream media) are still having a huge impact on the consciousness of those who watch and surf their platforms for information about what’s happening in our world….

The evidence that what we have been told by mainstream media is either false or lacking the full picture comes in the form of official declassified documentation, real world examples, and from multiple award winning mainstream media journalists who have committed the rest of their lives to letting people know how the media has deceived people…

Some Back Story

One person to speak out recently is NBC/MSNBC reporter William Arkin, a longtime and well-known military reporter who is best known for his groundbreaking, three-part Washington Post series in 2010. He co-reported it with two-time Pulitzer winner Dana Priest on how sprawling, unaccountable, and omnipotent the national security state has become in the post-9/11 era. This report dealt with black budget operations, programs that not even the commander in chief nor Congress has any idea about.

It is ironic that the U.S. should be fighting monstrously expensive wars allegedly to bring democracy to those countries, when it itself can no longer claim to be called a democracy when trillions, and I mean thousands of billions of dollars have been spent on projects which both congress and the commander in chief know nothing about. – Paul Hellyer, Former Canadian Defence Minister (source)

Their investigation lasted approximately two years and concluded that America’s classified world has “become so large, so unwieldy and so secretive that no one knows how much money it costs, how many people it employs, how many programs exist within it or exactly how many agencies do the same work.”

This was many years ago, and the latest developments with regards to these programs has come in the form of $21 trillion missing dollars from the Department of Defence, and the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Michigan State professor and Economist Mark Skidmore, along with former assistant secretary of Housing and Urban Development Catherine Austin Fitts found that this money was going towards black budget programs as well. Fitts has also been quite outspoken about a secret space program.

Lesson From FBI’s ‘Niger Uranium Forgeries’ File – Antiwar.com Original

Posted by M. C. on May 20, 2019

Bolton…again

https://original.antiwar.com/smith-grant/2019/05/19/lesson-from-fbis-niger-uranium-forgeries-file/

An analysis of 640 pages of FBI investigatory records obtained by IRmep under the Freedom of Information Act reveals how the FBI Director limited Senator John D. Rockefeller’s urgent 2003 written demand for accountability over faulty Iraq war intelligence into a narrow overseas investigation. The released files, originally scheduled for declassification on December 31, 2028 document how FBI special agents from the Washington Field Office trailed Niger uranium sale forgery suspects in European regions where they held little jurisdiction – but were not allowed by FBI Director Robert Mueller to pursue any officials in their own back yard that twisted dubious intelligence to support the US invasion of Iraq. The lesson is clear. Despite subsequent years of Senate investigations into pre-invasion claims that Iraq had a nuclear weapons program, Americans are still vulnerable to the misuse of real and fabricated intelligence deployed by unscrupulous US government officials seeking to plunge the nation into war.

To justify the 2003 US invasion of Iraq, White House officials repeatedly used dubious intelligence to publicly make accusations that Iraq had a clandestine nuclear weapons program. The most compelling accusation was that Iraq secretly sought to purchase 500 tons of yellowcake uranium from Niger to refine and produce nuclear weapons. It was compelling because Iraq had only one plausible use for uranium – making nuclear weapons.

Wissam al-Zahawie, an Iraqi diplomat stationed at the Vatican traveled to Niger’s capital Niamey on February 1, 1999. Al-Zahawie solicited the Niger government’s support for lifting UN trade embargoes imposed against Iraq after the Persian Gulf War (Iraq War I). In the year 2000 Rocco Martino, a former Italian Carabinieri policeman, was allegedly asked by Italian intelligence agency officer Antonio Nucera if he was interested in earning money. Martino accepted and was placed in contact with Laura Montini, an Italian intelligence (SISMI) agent working inside the Niger embassy in Rome, who began passing documents about a Niger sale of uranium to Iraq – allegedly the true purpose of the Wissam al-Zahawie trip – for Martino to shop around to his European intelligence agency clients. The documents had been faxed from Niger phone numbers, presumably so that French, British and other electronic eavesdroppers could pick them up. By the end of the year 2000 a UK intelligence commission derived from the forgeries a report claiming, “unconfirmed intelligence indicates Iraqi interest in acquiring uranium.” UK later released a White Paper claiming Iraq “sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa, despite having no active civil nuclear power programme that could require it.”

By the summer of 2001, Martino assembled an entire dossier of Niger uranium documents based on forgeries from stolen Niger embassy papers and SISMI intelligence files. Their centerpiece was written in French on Niger government stationary stamped “confidential.” This fake July 27, 2000 letter was from Niger’s President to Iraq’s, signed with the seal of the President of Niger. It read, “I have the honor of referring to accord No. 381-N1 2000, concerning the provision of uranium, signed in Niamey on the 6th of July between the Government of the Republic of Niger and the Government of Iraq…” The letter described future shipments of 500 tons of yellowcake uranium. Different compilations of the Niger dossier circulated in Europe, some with handwritten corrections of the most obvious errors, with an asking price of up to $100,000 euros. On October 15, 2001 the CIA Rome station received SISMI reports of a Niger uranium deal with Iraq, and passed the information to Washington with the caveat that it was uncorroborated.

Americans were subsequently bombarded by US officials in the runup to the US invasion of Iraq with Niger uranium sale claims. Vice President Richard Cheney set the stage, telling CNN’s Wolf Blitzer on March 14, 2001 that Saddam Hussein was actively pursuing nuclear weapons. On December 7, 2002, Iraq declared to UN weapons inspectors it did not have a nuclear weapons program. But State Department Under Secretary for Arms Control and International Security John Bolton oversaw the official US response, issued on December 19, 2002 charging Iraq with omitting its “efforts to procure uranium from Niger.”…

Russians accessed voter records in 2 Florida counties, FBI confirms

Posted by M. C. on May 14, 2019

President Bill Clinton meddled in Russian affairs in the 1990s and helped Boris Yeltsin get elected to a second term, political analyst Dick Morris told Newsmax TV.

“When I worked for Clinton, Clinton called me and said, ‘I want to get Yeltsin elected as president of Russia against Gennady Zyuganov, who was the communist who was running against him. Putin was Zyuganov’s major backer.

The FBI asked that the names of the counties not be disclosed

The Russians know, but the FIB won’t let Florida voters know!

Russian hackers had a successful “intrusion“ into the voting registration files of two Florida counties in 2015, Gov. Ron DeSantis said today.

The FBI asked that the names of the counties not be disclosed, DeSantis said in a press conference.

The hacking did not affect any vote tallying and DeSantis said there is no evidence of “manipulation.”

Florida was singled out in special prosecutor Robert Mueller’s report on Russian interference in the 2016 elections…

Christopher Steele Made Damning Pre-FISA Confession; FBI Retroactively Classified | Zero Hedge

Posted by M. C. on May 9, 2019

The FIB and Hillary, how bad can they get? How low can she go? It takes a lot to be worse than LBJ.

What happened to turn her from being a Goldwater Girl into this?

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-05-08/christopher-steele-made-damning-pre-fisa-confession-fbi-retroactively-classified

by Tyler Durden

Former British spy Christopher Steele made a stunning admission during an October 11, 2016 meeting with Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Kathleen Kavalec, just 10 days before the FBI used his now-discredited dossier to justify securing a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant to spy on Trump campaign aide Carter Page and the campaign’s ties to Russia, according to The Hill‘s John Solomon.

According a typed summary of the meeting – which sat buried for over 2 1/2 years until an open-records litigation by Citizens United – Steele said that his client “is keen to see this information come to light prior to November 8,” the date of the 2016 US election. Also attending the meeting was an employee of Steele’s Orbis Security firm, Tatyana Duran.

And according to The Hill, Kavalec’s notes of the meeting – including this stunning admission – do not appear to have been provided to the House Intelligence Committee for its Russia probe, according to former Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA).

“They tried to hide a lot of documents from us during our investigation, and it usually turns out there’s a reason for it,” Nunes told The Hill‘s Solomon, who notes that One member of Congress had transmitted the memos to the DOJ’s Inspector General, Michael Horowitz out of concern that the IG’s office had never seen it either.

The FBI has retroactively classified Kavalec’s notes on 4/25/2019, despite the fact that it was originally marked unclassified in 2016. It is set to “Declassify on 12/31/2041,” 25 years after the 2016 election.

The apparent effort to hide Kavalec’s notes from her contact with Steele has persisted for some time.

State officials acknowledged a year ago they received a copy of the Steele dossier in July 2016, and got a more detailed briefing in October 2016 and referred the information to the FBI.

But what was discussed was not revealed. Sources told me more than a year ago that Kavalec had the most important (and memorialized) interaction with Steele before the FISA warrant was issued, but FBI and State officials refused to discuss it, or even confirm it.

The encounter, and Kavalec’s memos, were forced into public view through Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) litigation by Citizens United. Yet, all but a few lines have been redacted after the fact. Officials are citing as the reason national security, in the name of the FBI and a half-century-old intelligence law. –The Hill

“This new information proves why the attorney general must conduct a thorough investigation of the investigators,” said Citizens United president and informal Trump adviser David Bossie, adding that Kavalec’s notes suggest there was an illegal effort to “frame” Trump with bogus collusion allegations

FBI arrests leader of armed group stopping migrants in New Mexico

Posted by M. C. on April 22, 2019

“Today’s arrest by the FBI indicates clearly that the rule of law should be in the hands of trained law enforcement officials, not armed vigilantes,” New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas said in a statement of Hopkins’s arrest.

The problem is trained law enforcement officials (ie government) aren’t doing the job.

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-immigration-militia/fbi-arrests-leader-of-armed-group-stopping-migrants-in-new-mexico-idUSKCN1RW0O5

TAOS, N.M. (Reuters) – The FBI on Saturday said it had arrested Larry Hopkins, the leader of an armed group that is stopping undocumented migrants after they cross the U.S.-Mexico border into New Mexico.

The arrest came two days after the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) accused the group of illegally detaining migrants and New Mexico’s Democratic Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham ordered an investigation.

Hopkins, 69, also known as Johnny Horton, was arrested in Sunland Park, New Mexico, on a federal complaint charging him with being a felon in possession of firearms and ammunition, the Federal Bureau of Investigation said in a statement…

What’s the Next Fake News? – Taki’s Magazine – Taki’s Magazine

NEW YORK—On April 21, 1980, Rosie Ruiz won the fabled Boston Marathon in record time and looked fresh as a daisy when the media descended on her following her crowning with a wreath à la Ancient Greece. Rosie answered all the questions. She loved running, this was only her second marathon, and no, she was never tired or doubtful of victory during the two hours and 32 minutes of the race. The newspapers and the hacks went wild.

Well, the reason for Rosie’s freshness, it later transpired, was that she had entered the race twenty minutes from the finish, having used regular transport to get there from the start…

Rosie has never complained about having to give back the medal, but in a somewhat similar situation, two women, a gray old hag and a gossipy middle-aged one without hair, both of whom were caught cheating, have refused to return their prizes. I am, of course, speaking of The New York Times and The Washington Post, both Pulitzer Prize winners for exposing Donald Trump’s collusion with Russia, something they decided to invent the moment The Donald was elected. And it was as easy as pie. Unlike Rosie, who at least ran for twenty minutes and worked up a sweat, these two old tarts didn’t even bother to go through the motions of investigating… Read the rest of this entry »

Free Lori Loughlin – LewRockwell

Everybody knows that college admissions aren’t made only on academic merit and haven’t been for a long time. If you want your son or daughter to be admitted to college and you have enough money, all you have to do is donate a lot of money to the university and your child will have no trouble getting in.

Here are a few examples: In 2015, Stewart Cohen gave $5 million to the USC School for Cinematic Arts. The gift came right after the very competitive school admitted Cohen’s twin daughters. In another well-known case, the New York real estate tycoon Charles Kushner pledged $2.5 million to Harvard in 1998 shortly before his son Jared was admitted. Jared Kushner’s grades would not have gotten him into the highly selective school without the donation.

Admitting students with poor qualifications takes place far wider than this. Because athletic teams make big money for the university, athletes get admitted under special programs. In our current politically correct climate, black students who score below the norm on the SAT and other admissions tests are not only admitted but actively sought out. Admitting them has been assiduously promoted by the federal government.

Is it a good or bad thing that college admissions aren’t made only on academic merit? I have an opinion on this issue, and I’m sure you do as well. But our opinions shouldn’t be forced on others. In a free society, the government shouldn’t force universities to follow affirmative action programs, but otherwise it should be up to the universities to decide whom they are going to admit, and on what basis. That’s what the free market is all about.

Given this record, why should parents who try to get their kids into college be investigated by the FBI, charged with major crimes, and be subjected to a campaign of defamation in the media? Yet this is exactly what has happened… Read the rest of this entry »

CIA-Assassinated American Terrorist Had Been Released by the FBI

Posted by M. C. on April 6, 2019

We are good at killing fellow Americans.

https://www.garynorth.com/public/19351.cfm

Gary North

The U.S. killed an alleged Muslim terrorist with a drone attack in September 2011: Anwar al-Awlaki.

What the media did not mention was this: he was educated at U.S. government expense as a college student. Then, after he became listed by the government as a terrorist, he returned to the USA. The FBI arrested him. Then they let him loose.

Your tax dollars at work!

Al-Awlaki became the first American citizen targeted who would become the official first American who was targeted for death by the CIA.

All this came out as a result of an inquiry into the Fort Hood, Texas, massacres by one of Al-Awliki’s email correspondents. He exchanged 19 emails with Maj. Nidal Hasan, who is accused of murdering 13 in the shooting.

Mark Giuliano, the FBI’s assistant director for national security, testified Wednesday that the FBI knew in advance that he was making his way back to the United States, though he didn’t explain how.Al-Awlaki was detained at New York City’s JFK airport because a customs database flagged him based on an outstanding arrest warrant. Giuliano, under intense questioning by [Congressman] Wolf, also admitted Wednesday there were discussions between an FBI agent and the U.S. attorney in Colorado about the U.S.-born cleric’s re-entry and the warrant.

Jesus spoke of the blind leading the blind into a ditch. That was before the Department of Homeland Security multiplied the number of blind people.

Former FBI agents say there are only likely two explanations: The bureau let the cleric into the country to track him for intelligence, or the bureau wanted to work with him as a friendly contact.

If either is true, then the FBI ought to get out of the anti-terrorism business. It does not know what it is doing.

It gets worse…

The best thing we can say of all this is that Larry, Moe, and Curly are still in charge.

America is not becoming a tyranny. It is becoming a long-running comedy sketch for Jon Stewart.

Defeating the Counterrevolution – Antiwar.com Original

Posted by M. C. on April 1, 2019

We can and must defeat them by disempowering the instruments of control – the FBI, the CIA, and the entire national security bureaucracy – and making an example in this most egregious case. John Brennan must be charged and prosecuted. The FBI cabal that turned a federal law enforcement agency into an arm of an incipient police state must be held accountable in a court of law.

https://original.antiwar.com/justin/2019/03/31/defeating-the-counterrevolution/

It was a close call. We barely escaped losing our old republic and succumbing to rule by an unelected bureaucracy of intelligence officials. A “special counsel” – a creature with not a lick of constitutional legitimacy – was given de facto unlimited power and allowed to run rampant through official Washington, settling old scores, and creating some new ones. Lives were destroyed – innocent lives, of which there are few and far between in that vicinity – and dragged through the muck and mire. Demagogues, armed with one of the least plausible conspiracy theories of all time, drew up new rules whereby one measured truth or falsehood. These were the Bizarro World rules, which operate on the general principle of the least evidence there is for a proposition the more likely it is to be true.

It was and is a conspiracy theory built largely around the conceit of the perpetrators. After all, how could their candidate – smooth, (over-prepared), backed by over a billion bucks, leading in every poll, and so obviously destined to take the prize – wind up defeated?

This is the question torturing the liberal mind, and coming up with answers none of which explain the flaw in their supposedly flawless strategy. After all, they had a computer program named “Ada” named after the first woman in cybernetics that told them every move to make. Yes, identity politics dominated the Clintonian strategy to that extent…

The 2016 election revealed the real class lines in this country: not rich versus poor, white versus black, or north versus south – although these factors count to some extent – but the alienated versus the well-adjusted.

Are you adjusted to the idea that the community you once knew is gone and irrecoverable forever? Does it bother you that you can’t get through the day without ten milligrams of oxycodone? Is your monthly visit to the Veterans Administration hospital a ritual of enforced humiliation and minor but painful torture?

Wouldn’t you like to wipe that smug self-satisfied smirk off Jeff Bezos’s face?

These and many more often subtle but unmistakable signs are the insignia of alienation. And when they become so acute that even such worthies as legislators, journalists, and even cloistered academics must acknowledge them, what you have is a revolution on your hands…
