Let’s Give Trump Some Credit—On Labor Day He Threw Down the Gauntlet to the Corrupt Military Brass – PaulCraigRoberts.org

Paul Craig Roberts

Trump said that the Pentagon brass don’t love him, “because they want to do nothing but fight wars so that all of those wonderful companies that make the bombs and make the planes and make eveything else stay happy.”

President John F. Kennedy was assassinated by the military/security complex for making the same point (see, for example, JFK and the Unspeakable by James W. Douglass, Simon & Schuster, 2008).

The US military/security complex has had its crosshairs on Trump since his first presidential campaign when he said that he was going to normalize relations with Russia.  I don’t think Trump realized what a massive NO-NO this is.  Trump was telling the military-security complex that he was going to take away their concocted enemy that justifies the lucrative $1,000 billion annual budget paid by American taxpayers.

This enormous sum enriches a large number of companies along with the CIA’s power and budget. To tell a powerful institutionalized force that you are going to take away their justification for diverting increasingly scarce American resources into their bank accounts is to ask for assassination. President Trump is in the process of being assassinated, but it is not by bullets. Not even dumbshit Americans will believe another “lone assassin” story.  Trump is being assassinated with a coup—https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2020/09/08/democrats-have-planned-a-coup-if-trump-wins-reelection/ .

The military/security complex responded to Trump’s policy of normalizing relations with Russia with “Russiagate,” an orchestration initiated by CIA director John Brennan and FBI director Comey.  The CIA has had the media in its pocket since Operation Mockingbird dating back to 1950—https://www.thedailybeast.com/cheats/2016/10/14/how-the-cia-paid-and-threatened-journalists-to-do-its-work .

The CIA’s “Russiagate” attack on President Trump served the interests of Hillary Clinton and the Democrat Party.  The corrupt Democrats quickly joined forces with the CIA and the CIA’s media whores.  The attack on Trump was underway and has not stopped since.

As I posted here—https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2020/09/08/democrats-have-planned-a-coup-if-trump-wins-reelection/ —the Democrats have worked out with the CIA and the presstitutes their coup plan if Trump is reelected, which he will be.  Most Americans, black, white, hispanic and Asian do not want rioting and looting as everyday experience, which is what we now know the Democrats will give us.

President Trump’s chief of staff, Mark Meadows, said today that Trump is “not going to let some lobbyists here in Washington DC – just because they want a new defense contract – suggest that soldiers need to stay abroad one minute longer than they should.”

Everytime Trump has tried to bring our soldiers home, he has been stymied by the military/security complex and the presstitute media. All sorts of phony reasons are concocted and put into the media about why withdrawal would be inimical to American interest.  Many American partiots fall for the concocted arguments and turn against Trump for “endangering America.”

Nothing better illustrates President Trump’s vulnerability than the fact that his own Defense Secretary has not rejected the unsupported anonymous allegation made by a Jew in the Atlantic that President Trump bad-mouthed American war dead and refused to visit a cemetery in France where many are buried.  Even President Trump’s enemy, John Bolton, has refuted the Jew’s allegation.  Bolton said on the record:

“I didn’t hear either of those comments or anything even resembling them,’ Bolton told Fox News. ‘I was there at the point in time that morning when it was decided that he would not go to Aisne-Marne cemetery … It was entirely a weather-related decision, and I thought the proper thing to do.

“I never heard he made that kind of comment about another country’s forces either, no.”

“Fox correspondent John Roberts, who conducted the Bolton interview, added that he has told him, ‘if [Donald Trump] had said he didn’t want to visit Aisne-Marne because the interred heroes were ‘losers’ and ‘suckers,’ he would have written an entire chapter about it in his book, The Room Where It Happened.”  https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8709559/Trump-attacks-militarys-commanders-claiming-want-defense-contractors-happy.html

The Atlantic is part of the CIA’s media assets.  The story was handed to the Jewish editor, Jeffrey Goldberg, and the two-bit puppet performed for his master.  The two-bit puppet went on to say that he expects “more confirmation and new pieces of information” to come out in the coming days and weeks that will coroborate that Trump called US war dead “losers and suckers.”

In other words, Goldberg is acknowledging that he will continue to be a  military/security mouthpiece in driving Trump from office.  The purpose of the CIA story handed to Goldberg is to discredit Trump with his patriotic supporters, those who wave the flag, and especially the retired military.  The way the coming coup against Trump works is to turn his supporters against him so that he is isolated and can be ejected from office

Goldberg’s sources, he says, are anonymous. But they are not.  His “sources” are his military/security masters.  Goldberg knows who they are.  Remember, the entire four-year long attack on Trump has relied on anonymous sources.  With anonymous sources, you can make up anything. There is no one to confirm, deny, or to hold accountable.  It is fake news.

Not only are the CIA, Pentagon, and FBI united in the coup against Trump, but also it seems Trump’s Attorney General as well.  It has been months and Barr and Durham have not produced the indictments against the Obama regime personnel who committed felonies while orchestrating “Russiagate.”  The people who committed the felonies and the felonies that were committed are known and are part of the public record.  Yet no indictments. What we are witnessing here is that the Washington Establishment is Democrat and Republican and neither party will defend an elected President at the expense of the Establishment.

To conclude, blatant treason is in plain view.  Not even insouciant Americans can help but see it. Yet, there is not a word about it.  The coming coup seems to have a clear road for success. Something will remain here afterwards, but it will not be the United States of America.

Be seeing you

Collusion Is in the Eye of the Beholder

Posted by M. C. on May 25, 2020

It is particularly symbolic that in the midst of this imbroglio, the FBI just accidentally revealed the name of another Saudi embassy official complicit in the September 11 attacks, whose identity was long kept hidden by the US government as a “state secret” whose revelation could cause “significant harm to the national security.” Collusion, foreign adversary, national security: in Washington, it’s all in the eye of the beholder.

https://jacobinmag.com/2020/05/ignore-trumps-bluster-obamagate-is-a-serious-scandal/

Branko Marcetic

Russiagate looks less like a righteous crusade for truth and justice and more like the typical shenanigans for which the FBI and US security state have long been known: prosecutorial overreach, entrapment, and the criminalization of foreign policy dissent.

The crux of Russiagate is that it’s a political scandal masquerading as a criminal one.

The interminable scandal has been back in the news this past week thanks to the Trump Department of Justice’s decision to drop charges against Michael Flynn. Flynn was once briefly Trump’s national security advisor before being fired and then charged with lying to the FBI over a phone conversation with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak during the presidential transition. Last Thursday, the House Intelligence Committee finally released fifty-seven transcripts of closed-door interviews it conducted with various key players in the saga over 2017 and 2018, covering Flynn’s call with Kislyak and other matters.

Since the news dropped, every effort has been made to turn Flynn’s absolution into the latest Trump outrage. Barack Obama himself weighed in, charging in a leaked phone call with supporters that “there is no precedent that anybody can find for someone who has been charged with perjury just getting off scot-free,” and that the “rule of law is at risk.”

Four years into this chaotic and reactionary presidency, there are more than enough legitimate Trump scandals to go around. But as with many things Russiagate, both the Flynn case and the release of the transcripts reflect far more poorly on the Obama administration, American’s hallowed national security institutions, and the anti-Trump “Resistance.”

Understanding why requires going all the way back to 2016 and the beginnings of the Flynn case. Flynn was a former intelligence official pushed out of the Obama administration over, among other things, his management style. Years later, he became a characteristically weird Trump guy: a heterodox foreign policy thinker who combined occasional opposition to endless war with conspiratorial Islamophobia, and became nationally known for flirting with the “alt-right” and chanting “Lock her up!” at the 2016 RNC.

Flynn’s loyalty to Trump was rewarded that year when he was announced as the president-elect’s national security advisor. At the same time, Flynn had, like many in Trump’s orbit, been investigated by the FBI over whether he was a Kremlin agent, and only further raised hackles after it was leaked that he had spoken to Kislyak the same day that Obama ordered sanctions and expelled thirty-five Russian embassy officials as retaliation for Russia’s interference in that year’s election.

Flynn was, at first, pushed out by Trump when it turned out he had caused Vice President Mike Pence to unwittingly lie about the contact. He was then later charged by Robert Mueller and his team in the course of the “collusion” probe with lying to the FBI (not, as Obama claimed, perjury), which at the time was cause for much speculation: it was the umpteenth “beginning of the end” of Trump’s presidency but ultimately produced no new revelations about a Trump-Russia conspiracy. Now, he’s been allowed to skip a maximum of five years in jail and walk away “scot-free,” as Obama put it.

But through it all and since, details have trickled out that have made the entire saga far less clear-cut than those most invested in the “collusion” narrative would have the public believe. For one, despite all the innuendo around Flynn’s Russian contacts and his sitting next to Putin at a dinner, investigators found nothing unseemly when looking into Flynn and had all but closedtheir investigation into him when the news about the Kislyak call broke.

Secondly, the charge Flynn was ultimately slapped with, lying to the FBI, now looks more like a case of entrapment. Recently released notes written by Bill Priestep, former FBI counterintelligence director, prior to interviewing Flynn about the Kislyak call suggest the Bureau was looking at the option to “get him to lie, so we can prosecute him or get him fired.” In the notes, Priestep wrote that “I believe we should rethink this,” that simply showing Flynn evidence so he could admit wrongdoing wasn’t “going easy on him” and was routine FBI practice, and that “if we’re seen as playing games, WH [White House] will be furious,” so they should “protect our institution by not playing games.”

What’s more, contemporaneous notes show that the investigators themselves weren’t sure Flynn had intentionally lied to them, and that Comey himself had said so in a March 2017 briefing, before claiming he had never said anything of the sort after being fired by Trump.

There were further improprieties in the investigation. Flynn has claimed, with some evidence, that the FBI pressured him to sit down for the interview without a lawyer. Additionally, two years ago, Comey himself admitted that he had violated protocol by sending investigators to interview Flynn without going through the White House counsel, calling it “something I probably wouldn’t have done or maybe gotten away with in … a more organized administration.”

Things get worse when one goes through the Mueller team’s interview notes for then-acting Attorney General Sally Yates and Mary McCord,

The Unveiled Feminist | Sad News for Kiwis

The Unveiled Feminist

Low-T Comey is so distressed by his inability to drive the duly elected president of the United States from office, that he recently told Nicole Wallace, host of MSNBC’s “Deadline: White House” that if Trump is re-elected, he will move to New Zealand.

Which is fine with us. The US has an extradition treaty with New Zealand, so it’s okay if Low-T wants to await his prosecution somewhere else.

In fact, can we get that in writing?

Do Spies Run the World?, by Israel Shamir – The Unz Review

Posted by M. C. on May 23, 2019

http://www.unz.com/ishamir/do-spies-run-the-world/

Jeeves, the excellent valet of Mr Wooster, had an ace up his sleeve: if going was tough, he had used his access to the records of the Junior Ganymede club, and there he could find embarrassing stuff against anybody who had ever employed a valet or a butler, for these gentleman’s gentlemen were obliged to inscribe in the club’s book all imprudent exploits of their masters. Thanks to this inside knowledge, Jeeves had saved his meek master, Mr Bertie Wooster from the bully.

Jeeves was a modest man, and feudally loyal to his hare-brained master; so were other members of the Junior Ganymede. They didn’t try to turn the club book into a tool to wrench control over England from the Buckingham Palace. However, we live in the age of great ambitions, unhindered by excessive loyalty. The valets, butlers, and bodyguards pooled their forces and decided to run the world.

Conspiratorially-minded writers envisaged the Shadow World Government as a board of evil sages surrounded by the financiers and cinema moguls. That would be bad enough; in infinitely worse reality, our world is run by the Junior Ganymede that went berserk. It is not a government, but a network, like freemasonry of old, and it consists chiefly of treacherous spies and pens-for-hire, two kinds of service personnel, that collected a lot of data and tools of influence, and instead of serving their masters loyally, had decided to lead the world in the direction they prefer.

German Admiral Wilhelm Canaris, the last head of the Abwehr, Hitler’s Military Intelligence, had been such a spy with political ambitions. He supported Hitler as the mighty enemy of Communism; on a certain stage he came to conclusion that the US will do the job better and switched to the Anglo-American side. He was uncovered and executed for treason. His colleague General Reinhard Gehlen also betrayed his Führer and had switched to the American side. After the war, he continued his war against Soviet Russia, this time for CIA instead of Abwehr.

The spies are treacherous by their nature. Read the rest of this entry »

On the Criminal Referral of Comey, Clinton et al: Will the Constitution Hold and the Media Continue to Suppress the Story? – Consortiumnews

All The News That Fits…this doesn’t.

https://consortiumnews.com/2018/04/19/on-the-criminal-referral-of-comey-clinton-et-al-will-the-constitution-hold/

By Ray McGovern

Wednesday’s criminal referral by 11 House Republicans of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as well as several former and serving top FBI and Department of Justice (DOJ) officials is a giant step toward a Constitutional crisis.

Named in the referral to the DOJ for possible violations of federal law are: Clinton, former FBI Director James Comey; former Attorney General Loretta Lynch; former Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe; FBI Agent Peter Strzok; FBI Counsel Lisa Page; and those DOJ and FBI personnel “connected to” work on the “Steele Dossier,” including former Acting Attorney General Sally Yates and former Acting Deputy Attorney General Dana Boente.

With no attention from corporate media, the referral was sent to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, FBI Director Christopher Wray, and U.S. Attorney for the District of Utah John Huber.  Sessions appointed Huber months ago to assist DOJ Inspector General (IG) Michael Horowitz.  By most accounts, Horowitz is doing a thoroughly professional job.  As IG, however, Horowitz lacks the authority to prosecute; he needs a U.S. Attorney for that.  And this has to be disturbing to the alleged perps. Hey Donald, Use Your Brain and Get The Job Done

Posted by M. C. on October 29, 2016

Considering The Donald’s resources Hillary should be toast at this point.   She is more like French toast.  Clinton appears ahead of Donald in polls according to the lying pro-Hillary press.  This is not looking good.

I am a bit disappointed in Wikileaks.  They can only work with what they have but I was expecting photos of Hillary roasting babies on a spit.  Maybe they are saving those for next week.

Between Wikileaks email releases, Project Veritas videos of Democratic industrial strength voter fraud and new revelations of Hillary’s in-house Muslim and her Weiner’s computer containing classified docs Donald has plenty of material. Read the rest of this entry »

Darrell Issa, NPR, BLS, Government Lies

Posted by M. C. on March 5, 2016

Congressman Darrell Issa gave NPR listeners a shock this week. The Truth! I was listening to Morning Edition and David Greene’s interview with Darrell Issa. The topic was the FBI and Apple.

GREENE: And why is that such a red flag for you because Director Comey described the request as akin to asking Apple to take away the vicious guard dog and let us pick the lock.

ISSA: But that’s just not true. That’s not true. Your listeners need to understand one of your rights is your right to privacy. Now, if Apple creates a backdoor, it’s not removing a guard dog from a criminal’s front door. It’s giving an automated process of unlocking every door in America and unlocking it potentially without your knowing it. That’s really what they’re asking for.

GREENE: And that sounds very dramatic. I mean, the government has said this is one phone and…

ISSA: Look, the government lies. Understand – this may be NPR – but the government lies to you. I have spent 10 years representing the people of California. And I have seen governments, both Republican and Democratic, lie. If you want to promote the fact that your listeners can have all of their data remotely taken by their government at any time if they happen to get a FISA judge in secrecy to give them an authorization to do it, go ahead.
