Colin Powell, the first Black US secretary of state , has died from complications from COVID-19, his family said on Facebook.

“General Colin L. Powell, former U.S. Secretary of State and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, passed away this morning due to complications from COVID-19,” read a statement posted to his official Facebook page.

He was fully vaccinated. We want to thank the medical staff at Walter Reed National Medical Center for their caring treatment. We have lost a remarkable and loving husband, father, grandfather and a great American.”

Powell’s leadership in several Republican administrations helped shape American foreign policy in the last years of the 20th century and the early years of the 21st.

As CNN reports, his national popularity soared in the aftermath of the US-led coalition victory during the Gulf War, and for a time in the mid-90s, he was considered a leading contender to become the first Black President of the United States. But his reputation would be forever stained when, as George W. Bush’s first secretary of state, he pushed faulty intelligence before the United Nations to advocate for the Iraq War, which he would later call a “blot” on his record.

He was 84.

Former president Bush has issued a statement:

Of course, what the MSM wants to know is – had he received his booster?

Erie Times E-Edition Article-Erie County reaches unwelcome milestone

Posted by M. C. on September 17, 2021

“55.6% of eligible residents are fully vaccinated”

So if 80% of the infected are asymptomatic as we have been told, they will have natural immunity. The remaining unvaxxed 9% will be symptomatic to varying extents.

We made it! Erie is safe! But wait…the doom and gloom factory says otherwise. $omething doe$n’t compute.

A majority of county schools have reported COVID-19 cases among their students and staff, though specific numbers were not available, Lyon said.

“We have received no reports of any large-scale outbreaks at the schools and no reports of Erie County schools having to go remote due to COVID, as of (Tuesday),” Lyon said.

How does one make judgements of severity with no “specific numbers”? Doesn’t compute. TWO YEARS into this and the system can’t provide “specific numbers” for the “worst pandemic” (my scare quotes) to affect mankind.

Erie County has reached another unwelcome milestone in its battle against COVID-19.

Erie County Executive Kathy Dahlkemper reported six more deaths Wednesday due to the virus. A total of 503 county residents have died from COVID-19 complications since the pandemic began in March 2020.

“These 503 people do not have the opportunity to make memories with their families,” Dahlkemper said at a Wednesday news conference. “That’s 503 people who will not be celebrating the holidays this year with their loved ones.”

The county surpassed 500 deaths during a second surge in cases, hospitalizations and deaths triggered by the highly transmissible delta variant.

New cases have risen each of the past nine weeks, and the 134 cases reported Wednesday was the highest single-day total since 179 cases were reported on March 10. Hospitalizations in the county have risen again this week to levels not seen since the initial surge over the holidays.

See MILESTONE, Page 2A

Continued from Page 1A

A total of 51 county residents were hospitalized with COVID-19 Wednesday evening, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health. They include 26 patients in intensive care units and six who needed ventilators.

In addition, 14 people died from COVID- 19 complications in August, the most in a month since February, and nine more have died so far in September.

“What we are seeing now is just as bad as what we saw in 2020, if not worse in some ways,” said Melissa Lyon, Erie County Department of Health director. “We have effective vaccines and we know what mitigation measures help. Still, we are seeing this spike.”

And a growing number of new cases involve children, as 94 pediatric cases were reported between Sept. 2-8, compared to 160 cases between Aug. 16Sept. 1, according to the state health department.

“Definitely an increase in volume at (UPMC Hamot physician) offices and Express Care,” Danielle Gyorgak, M.D., a pediatrician with UPMC Children’s Community Pediatrics – Hamot, said in an email. “Also seeing a lot of RSV and other viruses still, too.”

“But a lot of schools are reporting cases.”

The county health department is also investigating a complaint that a private school in the county is not following the government mask mandate for schools.

“I can’t identify the school at this time because we are still investigating,” Lyon said.

The county reported an increase in COVID-19 vaccinations from 7,505 doses in July to 10,143 doses in August. Erie hospital officials have attributed part of the increase to people with compromised immune systems being permitted to receive a third dose.

“We have seen a slight increase at our mobile vaccination clinics,” Lyon said. “It’s not many but it is an increase.”

The county’s vaccination rates, based on Census 2020 and county health department data:

h 49.3% of all residents are fully vaccinated,

h 53.3% of all residents have received at least one dose of vaccine,

h 55.6% of eligible residents are fully vaccinated,

h 60.1% of eligible residents have received at least one dose of vaccine.

Study: Fully Vaccinated Healthcare Workers Carry 251 Times Viral Load, Pose Threat to Unvaccinated Patients, Co-Workers – LewRockwell

Posted by M. C. on August 25, 2021

While moderating the symptoms of infection, the jab allows vaccinated individuals to carry unusually high viral loads without becoming ill at first, potentially transforming them into presymptomatic superspreaders.

Am I wrong in thinking the DNA modifiers suppress the natural immunity that would normally kill the virus?

https://www.lewrockwell.com/2021/08/no_author/study-fully-vaccinated-healthcare-workers-carry-251-times-viral-load-pose-threat-to-unvaccinated-patients-co-workers/

By Peter A. McCullough, M.D., MPH
Children’s Health Defense

A groundbreaking preprint paper by the prestigious Oxford University Clinical Research Group, published Aug. 10 in The Lancet, includes alarming findings devastating to the COVID vaccine rollout.

The study found vaccinated individuals carry 251 times the load of COVID-19 viruses in their nostrils compared to the unvaccinated.

While moderating the symptoms of infection, the jab allows vaccinated individuals to carry unusually high viral loads without becoming ill at first, potentially transforming them into presymptomatic superspreaders.

This phenomenon may be the source of the shocking post-vaccination surges in heavily vaccinated populations globally.

The paper’s authors, Chau et al, demonstrated widespread vaccine failure and transmission under tightly controlled circumstances in a hospital lockdown in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam.

The scientists studied healthcare workers who were unable to leave the hospital for two weeks. The data showed that fully vaccinated workers — about two months after injection with the Oxford/AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine (AZD1222) — acquired, carried and presumably transmitted the Delta variant to their vaccinated colleagues.

They almost certainly also passed the Delta infection to susceptible unvaccinated people, including their patients. Sequencing of strains confirmed the workers transmitted SARS-CoV-2 to one another.

This is consistent with the observations in the U.S. from Farinholt and colleagues, and congruent with comments by the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention conceding COVID-19 vaccines have failed to stop transmission of SARS-CoV-2.

On Feb. 11, the World Health Organization indicated the AZD1222 vaccine efficacy of 63.09% against the development of symptomatic SARS-CoV-2 infection. The conclusions of the Chau paper support the warnings by leading medical experts that the partial, non-sterilizing immunity from the three notoriously “leaky” COVID-19 vaccines allow carriage of 251 times the viral load of SARS-CoV-2 as compared to samples from the pre-vaccination era in 2020.

Thus, we have a key piece to the puzzle explaining why the Delta outbreak is so formidable — fully vaccinated are participating as COVID-19 patients and acting as powerful Typhoid Mary-style super-spreaders of the infection.

Vaccinated individuals are blasting out concentrated viral explosions into their communities and fueling new COVID surges. Vaccinated healthcare workers are almost certainly infecting their coworkers and patients, causing horrendous collateral damage.

Continued vaccination will only make this problem worse, particularly among frontline doctors and nurses workers who are caring for vulnerable patients.

Health systems should drop vaccine mandates immediately, take stock of COVID-19 recovered workers who are robustly immune to Delta and consider the ramifications of their current vaccinated healthcare workers as potential threats to high risk patients and coworkers.

By Adam Schrader For Dailymail.Com and Reuters

Dr. Fauci warns Americans may face having booster shots INDEFINITELY and says fully-vaccinated ‘breakthrough’ infections could still cause long COVID: FDA approves third dose for those with weakened immune systems

  • Fauci said ‘there are a lot of factors’ that go into making decisions such as whether people will routinely have to get vaccinated against COVID-19
  • He said researchers have already started conducting studies giving boosters to people who have already been full vaccinated
  • Those studies have shown hopeful promise that future booster shots beyond a third jab may not be needed
  • But Fauci said it was too early to say whether people would have to have the shots regularly, as many do with the annual flu jab
  • Fauci said ‘the only way’ the public health officials will become certain whether continued booster shots will be needed will be by conducting further studies

CDC Approves Internment Camps | Armstrong Economics

Posted by M. C. on August 18, 2021

The vast amount of people will line up to surrender all their constitutional and human rights and those of the family for decades to come simply on the world of those in power.

https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/world-news/conspiracy/cdc-approves-internment-camps/

by Martin Armstrong

The vast amount of people will line up to surrender all their constitutional and human rights and those of the family for decades to come simply on the world of those in power. The FIRST thing people must realize is that the top “public servants” view that title the same way insurance companies call DEATH INSURANCE the opposite LIFE INSURANCE. Everything else is named for the threat from fire, accident and theft. They could not sell DEATH insurance because people thought they were not ready to die and it would be bad luck so they flipped the name to LIFE and people lined up to buy it. The real view from above is not that they “serve” the public, but we are just stupid sheep to obey the politicians and hence we “serve” them.

All the conspiracy theories are coming true. They have been letting them out one drop at a time. That way you will never notice the big picture until it is too late. The CDC has now formally snuck in that they can create internment camps. Note the shift from you have COVID to you are simply now at “HIGH RISK” for them to determine. That can include fully vaccinated because now the variants are proving to be resistant to the vaccine, but it can also mean all the unvaccinated. The CDC states:

“The shielding approach aims to reduce the number of severe COVID-19 cases by limiting contact between individuals at higher risk of developing severe disease (“high-risk”) and the general population (“low-risk”). High-risk individuals would be temporarily relocated to safe or “green zones” established at the household, neighborhood, camp/sector or community level depending on the context and setting.1,2They would have minimal contact with family members and other low-risk residents.”

CDC approval

Little by little they are doing away with democracy. Was the election rigged? Absolutely. This is a global agenda and I fear that Lindell was pointed in the wrong direction of China which was to divert any claims of rigging the election from the real sources behind the curtain. Lindell was correct about one thing. The attempts to rig election began before 2020.

CDC Churches Bow CDC Churches Genuflect to the Government – LewRockwell

Posted by M. C. on May 26, 2021

What is disgraceful and shameful about these CDC churches relaxing their Covid restrictions is that it is in response to CDC guidelines and government pronouncements. These churches will always be CDC churches even when they return to normalcy. When Covid-23 is pronounced a pandemic, these churches can be counted on to limit their capacity, shut off their water fountains, require face masks, block off every other pew, enforce social distancing, and cancel all activities aside from their Sunday morning service—if they don’t close altogether.

https://www.lewrockwell.com/2021/05/laurence-m-vance/cdc-churches-genuflect-to-the-government/

By Laurence M. Vance

More and more churches have begun returning their services to normal since the CDC updated its public health recommendations. While the return to normalcy is a good thing, it is also a bad thing in one respect.

In an effort to further push the dangerous and unnecessary Covid-19 vaccine on Americans, the CDC updated its public health recommendations on May 13.

According to the CDC, the guiding principles for fully vaccinated people are:

  • Indoor and outdoor activities pose minimal risk to fully vaccinated people.
  • Fully vaccinated people have a reduced risk of transmitting SARS-CoV-2 to unvaccinated people.
  • Fully vaccinated people should still get tested if experiencing COVID-19 symptoms
  • Fully vaccinated people should not visit private or public settings if they have tested positive for COVID-19 in the prior 10 days or are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
  • Fully vaccinated people should continue to follow any applicable federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules, and regulations.

Accordingly, in a non-healthcare setting, fully vaccinated people can:

  • Resume activities without wearing masks or physically distancing, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance
  • Resume domestic travel and refrain from testing before or after travel or self-quarantine after travel
  • Refrain from testing before leaving the United States for international travel (unless required by the destination) and refrain from self-quarantine after arriving back in the United States
  • Refrain from testing following a known exposure, if asymptomatic, with some exceptions for specific settings
  • Refrain from quarantine following a known exposure if asymptomatic
  • Refrain from routine screening testing if feasible

CDC churches have taken notice.

Last year, in the middle of the bogus “pandemic,” I coined the term CDC churches to describe those churches that altered their practices because of government propaganda and decrees. At the time I wrote about this (July 14), some churches—especially liberal churches—were still closed, but most had reopened with greatly limited and altered services. Some heroic churches either never completely closed or else fully reopened with no restrictions after a month or so of online-only services after they realized what a giant government scam the whole “pandemic” was.

These CDC churches encouraged or required face masks, closed off some of their pews, stopped all congregational singing, made people register for services, took people’s temperature, outlawed handshaking and hugging, turned off their water fountains, mandated social distancing, quit passing offering plates, and cancelled potluck dinners, baptisms, nurseries, choirs, Sunday schools, Bible studies, prayer meetings, and communion services.

All for absolutely nothing. It was all theatre.

As the year progressed, and some states and localities began to relax their draconian Covid restrictions, many CDC churches began to follow suit, but always in lockstep with the government. After the government began pushing the Covid vaccine, many CDC churches jumped on the government bandwagon. The biggest promoter of Covid vaccines in Texas was a megachurch, First Baptist of Church of Dallas.

And now that the CDC has said that no one needs to wear a mask outside, and that vaccinated individuals don’t have to wear a mask inside, CDC churches around the country have begun to relax most of their remaining Covid restrictions—restrictions that they never should have made to begin with. They have turned on water fountains, reconstituted their choirs, opened up all of the pews, stopped recommending face masks, started passing offering plates, and stopped promoting social distancing.

I know this is happening because I get e-mails on a regular basis from Christians all over the country about what is going on in their churches.

Fully Vaccinated Individuals Are Testing Positive For The Coronavirus: More Examples Emerge – Collective Evolution

Posted by M. C. on May 14, 2021

If this vaccine was completely safe and effective, travel mandates, for example wouldn’t be needed, everybody would be rushing to get one. Do we really want to give governments the power to implement health mandates when it goes against the will of so many people, doctors, and scientists?

  • Reflect On:How safe and effective are the vaccines?

What Happened: News of fully vaccinated individuals testing positive for COVID seem to be making headlines everywhere. For example, six people who tested positive in a Sydney hotel quarantine had already been fully vaccinated. According to data from NSW Health’s weekly COVID-19 surveillance report, between April 10 and May 1, six people in quarantine who reported being fully vaccinated were among the 150 overseas cases recorded. One had received a one-shot vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson, and the remaining cases had received both doses of a two-shot vaccine, such as Pfizer, AstraZeneca or Moderna. University of Sydney epidemiologist Dr. Fiona Stanaway said, given no COVID-19 vaccine is 100 percent effective, it was to be expected that some people who have been vaccinated test positive. advertisement – learn more

The New York Yankees recently announced that they had two coaches and one support staff member test positive for COVID despite all of them being fully vaccinated. In Seychelles, East Africa, the World Health Organization (WHO) said that on Tuesday it was reviewing coronavirus data in the region after the health ministry said more than a third of people who tested positive for COVID-19 in the past week had been fully vaccinated.

These are a few of many examples, but it shouldn’t come as a surprise as people have been warned throughout the pandemic that the full dosage of COVID vaccines will not be 100 percent effective. Canada’s Chief Public Health officer Teresa Tam, for example, recently reminded Canadians on Saturday that even those who are fully vaccinated are susceptible to COVID. She did say, however, that the risk of asymptomatic transmission is far lower for anyone who is fully vaccinated, but how much lower? What about asymptomatic individuals who are not vaccinated?

According to Dr. Jay Bhattacharya from Stanford University’s School of Medicine,

The scientific evidence now strongly suggests that COVID-19 infected individuals who are asymptomatic are more than an order of magnitude less likely to spread the disease to even close contacts than symptomatic COVID-19 patients. A meta-analysis of 54 studies from around the world found that within households – where none of the safeguards that restaurants are required to apply are typically applied – symptomatic patients passed on the disease to household members in 18 percent of instances, while asymptomatic patients passed on the disease to household members in 0.7 per cent of instances. A separate, smaller meta-analysis similarly found that asymptomatic patients are much less likely to infect others than symptomatic patients.

Asymptomatic individuals are an order of magnitude less likely to infect others than symptomatic individuals, even in intimate settings such as people living in the same household where people are much less likely to follow social distancing and masking practices that they follow outside the household. Spread of the disease in less intimate settings by asymptomatic individuals – including religious services, in-person restaurant visits, gyms, and other public settings – are likely to be even less likely than in the household. ‘Breaking Through’ — States Report Growing Number of COVID Cases Among Fully Vaccinated • Children’s Health Defense

Posted by M. C. on April 2, 2021

And you thought this was a one shot deal!!!

https://childrenshealthdefense.org/defender/states-report-covid-cases-fully-vaccinated/

By  Megan Redshaw

The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) announced Tuesday it is investigating reports of people who tested positive for COVID more than two weeks after being fully vaccinated against the disease.

According to Kiro 7 News, a CBS affiliate in Washington, the DOH is investigating reports of the so-called “breakthrough cases,” which it said are expected with any vaccine. Each case was confirmed with a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test or a positive antigen test more than two weeks after the person had been fully vaccinated.

A majority of people with confirmed vaccine breakthrough experienced mild symptoms, if any. However, since Feb. 1, eight people with vaccine breakthrough cases were hospitalized and the DOH “is investigating two potential vaccine breakthrough cases where the patients died. Both patients were more than 80 years old and suffered underlying health issues,” officials said in a press release.Ask Congress to Investigate COVID Origins – Take Action

Washington isn’t the only state reporting breakthrough cases. Florida, South Carolina, Texas, New York, California and Minnesota have also reported cases of fully vaccinated people testing positive and becoming ill with COVID.

The Florida Department of Health in Volusia County had six documented breakthrough cases, Sumter County had six and Lake County had 26 cases, according to emails from each county spokespersons.

Dr. Sunil Joshi, president of the Duval County Medical Foundation, compared the COVID vaccine to the flu vaccine. “It’s like the flu shot, for instance, right. We know, we encourage people to get the flu vaccine. That doesn’t mean that you’re not going to get the flu. But the disease is significantly lessened,” Joshi said. “So remember, the whole goal for this, from the very beginning, has been to keep people out of the hospital. And so anything positive after the vaccine is not unusual, it can happen.”

In Charleston, South Carolina, the Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) identified 134 breakthrough cases in those fully vaccinated across the state. In the past month alone, Roper St. Francis Healthcare treated four patients in the hospital and were aware of 10 other “breakthrough” cases that did not need hospitalization.

The Medical University of South Carolina reported seven COVID cases in fully vaccinated people. Roper Hospital is working with DHEC to analyze positive test results to see if variants may play a role.

“All of these individuals we identify who get infected or even hospitalized despite receiving two doses, that virus will be sent on to DHEC for further analysis,” infectious disease physician Dr. Kent Stock said. “The question is, is that phenomenon influencing these numbers?”

In Wichita Falls, Texas, seven vaccine breakthrough cases were reported Monday in those fully vaccinated against COVID. Of the seven cases, six had the Pfizer vaccine and one had Moderna.

“We’ve been watching that since the very beginning, since vaccinations started and so we started noticing it was just maybe one per week, two per week, now we are currently at seven,” Amy Fagan, assistant health director of the Wichita Falls Wichita County Public Health District, said.

As of March 24, Minnesota had identified 89 “breakthrough” COVID infections with a small number resulting in hospitalization, according to Star Tribune.

Out of caution, the state is reviewing the cases to see if they have anything in common, state infectious disease director Kris Ehresmann said. “A cluster of cases vaccinated at the same site could suggest a handling problem with the vaccine, or that a lot was tainted,” she said.

When asked about Minnesota’s vaccine breakthrough cases during a White House press briefing on March 26, Dr. Anthony Fauci, President Biden’s chief medical advisor, said: “This is something we take seriously and follow closely. You will see breakthrough infections in any vaccination when you’re vaccinating literally tens and tens and tens of millions of people. So in some respects, that’s not surprising.”

According to Fox News, a Long Island, New York woman tested positive for COVID Tuesday — more than a month after receiving her second dose of the Moderna vaccine meant to protect against the virus. “I was shocked,” Rosen said. “I’m the 4.9% that got Moderna and actually got COVID.”

In a March 23 letter to the editor of the New England Journal of Medicine, eight physicians reported on a study they conducted on breakthrough cases at the University of California, San Diego and University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) health systems.

According to the letter, UCLA instituted an optional testing program on Dec. 26, 2020, for asymptomatic healthcare workers using PCR nasal testing in an effort to detect asymptomatic SARS-CoV-2 infections after vaccination.

From Dec. 16, 2020, through Feb.9, 2021, a total of 36,659 healthcare workers received the first dose of a COVID vaccine, and 28,184 of these persons (77%) received the second dose. Among those vaccinated, 379 people tested positive for COVID at least one day after vaccination, and the majority (71%) tested positive within the first two weeks after the first dose. After receiving both vaccinations, 37 healthcare workers tested positive.

According to the study, the risk of testing positive for COVID after vaccination was between 0.97% and 1.19% –– rates higher than the risks reported in the Moderna and Pfizer vaccine trials.

As The Defender reported in December 2020, one explanation for “breakthrough cases” in the fully vaccinated may be the use of polyethylene glycol (PEG) in mRNA COVID vaccines like Moderna and Pfizer.

Studies have found approximately 72% of people may have PEG antibodies. In those people, the antibodies may cause an anaphylactic reaction to the vaccine. Or, the antibodies may break down and degrade the PEG-coated mRNA in the vaccine before it gets a chance to get into the cell and start programming the production of spike proteins, resulting in the vaccine being less effective.

Erie Times E-Edition Article-CDC offers guidelines for vaccinated people

Posted by M. C. on March 9, 2021

The agency’s guidance states those who have received a full course of COVID- 19 vaccine may get together with other fully vaccinated individuals in small groups inside their homes without masks or physical distancing. They can also visit with unvaccinated people from one (why not 2, 3, 7?) other household who are at low risk for severe disease.

Vaccinated individuals should still wear a mask and social distance in public settings and should avoid medium to large gatherings (you are safe but not safe). The agency has yet to release guidelines on travel (so no unfettered travel).

(Bold remarks) mine.

Small gatherings OK without masks, distance

Adrianna Rodriguez

USA TODAY

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has released guidelines designed to ease restrictions for Americans who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

The agency’s guidance states those who have received a full course of COVID- 19 vaccine may get together with other fully vaccinated individuals in small groups inside their homes without masks or physical distancing. They can also visit with unvaccinated people from one other household who are at low risk for severe disease.

The guidelines also say fully vaccinated people don’t need to quarantine or take a coronavirus test if they’ve been exposed, unless they’re symptomatic. However, they should still monitor for symptoms for 14 days even if they’re not in quarantine.

Vaccinated individuals should still wear a mask and social distance in public settings and should avoid medium to large gatherings. The agency has yet to release guidelines on travel.

“The new guidance from CDC on what people can do if they are fully vaccinated is welcome news to a nation that is understandably tired of the pandemic and longs to safely resume normal activities,” said Dr. Richard Besser, president and CEO of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

Experts say the announcement may be the agency’s attempt to clear up constrictions fusion created by some states rolling back their coronavirus safety measures despite public warnings from public health officials.

Whether the guidelines will clear things up is still up for debate, said Dr. Wafaa El-Sadr, professor of epidemiology and medicine at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.

The difference in tone from last week’s White House briefing, when CDC director Dr. Rochelle Walensky urged Americans to keep their guard up on the virus and “not give in to a sense of false security,” may only serve to further confuse Americans.

“It’s almost two different pathways here,” El-Sadr said. “Imploring people to stay with it, continue to be guarded and careful, while at the same time realizing that people are fatigued (and easing) re- for this subset of (vaccinated) individuals.”

While she recognizes the need for national guidance, El-Sadr said it may be a bit premature to allow people to gather inside without masks, as there is still no data on asymptomatic transmission, and only about 16% of the U.S. population has received a dose of vaccine, according to CDC data.

Other experts disagree.

“People are tired, and there’s a lot of pandemic fatigue, and it’s really important that we don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good,” said Dr. Carlos del Rio, executive associate dean of Emory University School of Medicine, who authored a viewpoint published in JAMA Network on Thursday that said it’s “likely safe” to gather with other vaccinated individuals.

Vaccinated people should still wear a mask, practice social distancing in public settings, and avoid medium to large gatherings, the CDC says. SETH WENIG/AP
