Playing With Fire: A Lab-Made Frankenstein COVID-19 Virus By Boston University

Why do this? Who is the intended victim? Why Wuhan to begin with?

Makes the original bat sandwich story look pretty lame. No one in Washington, except possibly Rand Paul, seems concerned government bungling turned the population into lab rats and crippled world economy…and it is starting again.

The creation of a new recombinant COVID-19 virus at Boston University, viewed as a “Frankenstein virus” by many, has raised a public uproar. This is not merely a risky gain-of-function experiment on “enhanced potential pandemic pathogens (ePPPs)”, it is a creation of an enhanced pandemic pathogen.  NO “potential” here.  

What is the rationale for this statement? What is the chimeric virus that we talk about here? 

A team of researchers at Boston University’s National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories posted a paper on October 14, 2022, on BioRxiv, a preprint server for biology, revealing that they had created a lab-made COVID-19 chimeric virus with reverse genetics technology. 

Specifically, they’ve swapped the S gene of the spike protein in the original SARS-CoV-2 Wuhan strain with the corresponding S gene from the Omicron variant.  So, the lab-made Chimeric virus (Wuhan-Omi-S chimeric virus) has all the genes from the Wuhan strain, which is much more pathogenic than the Omicron strain, except the S gene, which is from the highly transmissible yet relatively mildly pathogenic Omicron strain. 

According to the preprint paper, the Omicron spike-bearing virus is able to effectively and robustly escape vaccine-induced humoral immunity just like the Omicron variant. In addition, unlike the naturally occurring Omicron variant, the Wuhan-Omi-S chimeric virus efficiently replicates in cell lines and primary-like distal lung cells. 

Furthermore, it has killed at least 80 percent of infected K18-hACE2 mice (a type of transgenic mice expressing human ACE2 receptors), whereas the mortality rate of the Omicron variant was zero while the Wuhan strain caused 100 percent death in two weeks in control experiments in the same transgenic mice. This 80 percent mortality in the mice model by the Wuhan-Omi-S chimeric virus was observed in a two-week period.  The paper did not provide any further observations on whether the surviving 20 percent of mice eventually died faster than the control mice group infected with Omicron variants.  

The defenders for this risky study stated that the chimeric virus product showed reduced pathogenicity (100 versus 80 percent mortality) when compared to Wuhan strains, so it is not a gain-of-function study.  However, this is an unjustifiably optimistic statement. The study did not provide any detailed or comprehensive pathology exam of different organs in the transgenic mice infected with the Wuhan-Omi-S virus. For example, do we know that this chimeric virus has the same neuropathogenesis as the Omicron or Wuhan viruses?  This study did not provide any data on that. 

In addition, although this experiment was presented as a swap of the S gene on the backbone of the Wuhan strain, it could also be viewed as swapping other viral genes on the backbone of the Omicron strain, considering the overall high genome homology among different variants of SARS-CoV-2 viruses. Rather than study individual gene motifs that might have influenced the Omicron variant’s pathogenicity,  researchers at Boston University instead swapped all the pathogenicity-related viral gene motifs/sites from the Wuhan strain into the Omicron strain.

Then, this study is a bonafide proven gain-of-function study: it makes the Omicron virus obtain more virulent factors, enhancing its infectivity and pathogenicity in in vitro and in vivo experiments.  And this publication did not reveal any study to test the transmissibility of the chimeric lab-made virus in animal models. Is the Wuhan-Omi-S virus more or less transmissible in animal models?  Can any of the researchers in this study 100 percent guarantee that this new chimeric virus is not more transmissible in different animal models, e.g. golden hamsters, ferrets, and primates?  

This study presented the main conclusion: “while the vaccine escape of Omicron is defined by 53 mutations in S, major determinants of viral pathogenicity reside outside of S.” However, it is a known fact that other genes outside S are involved in viral-host interactions at different steps of the viral life cycle and many genes outside S are relevant to viral pathogenicity in different tissues, organs, and animal hosts. So, by combining the pathogenicity-related components of the ancestral Wuhan strain and Omicron’s spike protein, the researchers would surely expect to create a virus that’s both highly deadly and highly transmissible. Even though it might be lucky that the final chimeric virus strains are less deadly and/or less transmissible than the Wuhan and/or Omicron strains, there is no guarantee that the degree of the risks or threats cannot be precisely controlled or assessed. The researchers at Boston University are intentionally playing with fire with clear knowledge of the risks involved. 

So, in essence, Boston University researchers created a lab-made Omicron variant with enhanced pathogenicity. As Omicron is a clear pandemic pathogen, taking over Delta and other COVID-19 virus variants, this study has created an enhanced pandemic pathogen. Not an “enhanced pandemic potential pathogen.”  

It is true that we don’t know whether this lab-made chimeric virus can out-compete natural omicron variants when co-circulating in human society. And defenders of this gain-of-function study also argued that similar recombinant variants existed early this year, the Deltacron, which contains a Delta variant backbone with an Omicron S gene. They argued that the Deltacron did not generate a pandemic wave and was quickly replaced with Omicron variants, and therefore, this experiment at Boston University did not generate additional risk. So, are these defenders arguing that humankind was simply too lucky and we need to create additional risks ourselves?  

This study is absolutely playing with fire and should be totally forbidden. It is unbelievable that Boston University allowed this research to be carried out. It is an ultimate failure of the bioethics committee that evaluates biomedical research projects at Boston University. 

Furthermore, this gain-of-function research project is partially funded by the National Institutes of Health’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), which has denied its knowledge of these experiments. As the related grant documents and the communication between Boston University and NIAID are not currently released to the public, it is surely unverifiable whether NIAID was aware of these experiments during the whole process. Nevertheless, it suggests that the oversight mechanism to review grants related to “enhanced potential pandemic pathogens (ePPPs)”, set up by NIAID after the 2014 pause of all gain-of-function studies, did not work at all in this incidence.

White House COVID-19 adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci warned about the potential for the reinstatement of COVID-19 restrictions in the United States.

Americans, he told the BBC on Sunday, “need to be prepared for the possibility” of an uptick in COVID-19 cases, which may lead to further restrictions.

“I don’t want to use the word ‘lockdowns.’ That has a charged element to it. But, I believe that we must keep our eye on the pattern of what we’re seeing with infections,” he told the outlet.

Cases, hospitalizations, and deaths from the virus have dropped significantly in the United States since the winter’s COVID-19 surge.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said that currently, the BA.2 Omicron subvariant that is spreading makes up for about 54.9 percent of cases. Meanwhile, data from the CDC revealed that just over 9,600 new cases were reported Sunday.

“The bottom line is that the vaccine is excellent against the Alpha and Delta [variants], for Omicron it’s not good enough” said Prof. Gili Regev-Yochay who led an Israeli experiment of assessing the effectives of the vaccine against corona’s latest variant.

Do you realize what this implies?

Given the fact that the vaccines do not work against Omicron and that Omicron is now the globally dominant Covid strain, it makes no logical or medical sense to continue with vaccinating and boostering at this time.

After all, why would anyone in their right mind needlessly inject people with failed protections that carry a risk of severe adverse reactions.

At this point we are out of vaccine options. No vaccine that is currently at our disposal can protect people from contracting and transmitting Omicron infection or reduce the severity of its symptoms.

We have seen that the opposite is actually the case: the vaccinated and the boostered are contracting omicron at higher rates than the unvaccinated.

This means that there is nothing we can do by way of vaccinal intervention with the shots that are available to us at the moment.

Here is the reality of our situation: We have come – at least for now – to the end of the vaccine road as far as Covid-19 is concerned. At this time, we simply possess no effective vaccine with which to tackle this disease.

This may change in the future, but for now this is the reality of our situation, and it is imperative that we clearly grasp and accept it so that we do not inflict any unnecessary injury or death.

Since the vaccines are ineffective against the prevailing variant, all Covid injectioneering has to stop. To give out any more shots of these vaccines – which we know do not work – is senseless and medically irresponsible.

Continuing vaccination under current circumstances can bring no benefit and will only result in needless harm. To pointlessly expose healthy people to potential injury would constitute medical malfeasance.

We, therefore, call upon health authorities, politicians, employers and schools to follow science and common sense.

The science and common sense clearly show that all vaccine and booster mandates need to be suspended.

We ask that this be done immediately and without delay.

We also ask that all Covid passports schemes be revoked. Covid health passes do not serve any legitimate purpose since the vaccinated are not protected against infection, and, in fact, the data show that they are getting infected more readily than their unvaccinated counterparts. For some reason, Omicron seems to target the vaccinated especially.

All throughout this pandemic we have been told by our politicians and health officials to follow the science. It is time for them to finally live up to their own teaching.

We ask them to do what is right in this situation: End all vaccine mandates and health pass schemes.

In the wake of the vaccinal failure, doing anything other would be medically negligent and scientifically unjustifiable.

U.S—Pfizer has reiterated their commitment to the release of a new Omicron vaccine in March, just in time for the twelve people who haven’t already gotten sick and recovered.

“We intend to save lives,” said Derrick Pfizer while meeting with CDC officials. “Sure, Omicron is spreading so fast that it will have probably run through the majority of people by then, but this is no laughing matter. The dozen or so people who haven’t had it yet will have a vaccine available so they don’t have to deal with a mild cold that puts them out of work for a week.”

Experts at the CDC removed additional safety requirements from vaccine development to try and get it out the door sooner but admitted there was only so much they could do to bypass government regulation.

“There are hundreds of government regulations to consider,” insisted a sputtering Dana Tacoa, a spokesperson for the government agency. “We’re only comfortable ignoring protocol for in-depth human testing. We have to risk the lives of every man, woman, and child so we can save the handful who don’t have natural immunity yet.”

When asked why scientists were working so hard on a vaccine that would be rendered useless by herd immunity Derrick Pfizer calmly reassured the public.

“Don’t worry, we’re not working that hard,” he said.

They are promised plenty of overtime. Meanwhile, a new study out of South Africa – the home of omicron – shows that those who get the variant are 80 percent less likely to end up in hospital. Friday, December 10, New York State governor Kathy Hochul reaffirmed the state’s status as the nation’s most zealous practitioner of covid cultism with the announcement of a new statewide “vax-or-mask” mandate.

The mandate confronts businesses and physical institutions with a choice: either A) check vaccination at the door and turn away unvaccinated customers or B) require that all customers wear masks. Noncompliant property owners are threatened with a $1,000 fine and subject to “criminal and civil penalties.” Governor Hochul justifies the new mandate by citing concerns over the new omicron variant and New York’s strained healthcare system. The mandate will take effect on Monday, December 13.

The Definition of Insanity

For this new set of policies, the old adage “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result” comes to mind. Anyone who actually “follows the science” will see that this newest mandate (or any of the previous other dystopian policies we have been subject to) is about “public health” insofar as that means protecting the health of the community. Both measures involved in the mandate—coercive vaccination and mandatory masking—have little (if any evidence) supporting their efficacy.

There are countless admissions from out most trusted institutions such as the C.D.C., W.H.O., and the corporate press acknowledging that individuals who are “fully vaccinated” are still fully capable of spreading COVID-19 and its variants. Findings published by the C.D.C. at the start of the Delta Variant hysteria reveal that 74% of cases found in the study manifested in vaccinated individuals. A more recent example demonstrating the abysmal failure of vaccine mandates comes from Cornell University. The ivy-league Ithaca, N.Y.-based university began requiring vaccines (and mask-wearing at all times) for all students this fall semester and at the present moment, the student body has a 97% vaccination rate. However, despite this level of vaccination and compliance, Cornell just announced it will be moving to an entirely online curriculum for the remainder of the semester due to a spike in cases and presence of the omicron variant. To add insult to injury (for the narrative, that is), Cornell’s Vice President for University Relations Joel Malina released a statement saying “Virtually every case of the Omicron variant to date has been found in fully vaccinated students, a portion of whom had also received a booster shot…”. Can someone explain to me how mandating a vaccine that prevent transmission is going to “stop the spread”? Please go slowly, so I won’t miss anything.

Furthermore, revelations regarding the dramatic decline in immunity provided by vaccines as soon as six months after receipt of the final dose should raise further alarm bells about the intent of mandates. Why would an individual who was vaccinated in February 2021 (and whose immunity could have potentially waned by 50 percent since then) be allowed into an establishment but someone who was literally infected with covid-19 and acquired natural immunity a month prior be forbidden? The answer is found not in any rationale related to health or curbing the spread of a virus, but to the expansion of political power via the punishment of the governor’s political opponents, who, in this case, are those of us who dare to question the pronouncements of the pharmaceutical-industrial complex.

Perhaps the most concerning bit of the vaccine madness is that establishment politicians, journalists, other general hacks, and much of the public at large will openly admit that the vaccine do not prevent transmission or infection and then in the same breath spout the typical line that vaccines are our “best weapon against the virus.” It is scary to think about how much worse off we might be if the propaganda were actually good …

Lastly, the evidence regarding the effectiveness of mass mask wearing is scant—particularly in the context of the covid-19 pandemic. All it takes is a cursory glance at hospitalizations (or hospital capacity) and death rates across states and one will quickly see that negative outcomes are obviously not well correlated with mask mandates, compliance, lockdowns, or vaccine mandates. But if that’s not enough for you, here are a few more “legit” sources regarding masks and upper respiratory illness (the science is far from settled).

Bright Spots in a Dim, Dim State

New York’s new mandate is abysmal news for those of us who value human liberty (or humanity in general). However, a few “rays of hope” have come shining through in the form of rebellious county executives. Hochul’s mandate places the burden of enforcement on counties and several county executives have responded to the governor’s edict with a flat-out refusal to enforce it. Rensselaer County eecutive Steve McLaughlin responded with a statement ending with “Rensselaer County will not utilize resources to enforce this new state mandate. If the state wants to enforce the mandate, the state will need to utilize state resources for those actions.” Madison County board chairman John Becker was even more blunt: “In light of the Governor’s announcement on Friday … Madison County would like to announce we will not be enforcing this latest mandate.”

The response from these two local officials is encouraging. There was virtually no pushback against Andrew Cuomo’s mandates in 2020, so a willingness on the part of local officials to challenge centralized power, publicly refuse to enforce unpopular edicts, and exercise their political authority to protect the interests of their local constituency is exciting, to say the least. It also highlights a trend that we are seeing—an increased interest in federalism and other forms of decentralization, particularly in “red” areas. Governors like Ron DeSantis of Florida, Christi Noam of South Dakota, and Greg Abbott of Texas are more notable examples. Hopefully we will see governments at the state and local level continue to nullify these appalling and useless mandates.

This Is Far from Over

Even though statewide covid mandates seem to have cooled since the rollout of the vaccines earlier this year, the latest mandate from the Empire State serves as a stark reminder that our opponents have not given up on their vision of medical totalitarianism. Spread Love Not Fear During Holiday Season

It is the ultimate tragedy that criminals are in charge of the earth. In the name of public health, they have taken over, and even those confronting them, like Senator Ron Paul, are being way too nice as people, and now babies increasingly die. But, unfortunately, it is not just ordinary criminals but criminally insane psychopaths who have claimed the right to dominate 8 billion people.

It has been a while since I have made a personal communication. For starters, I wish everyone the best holiday possible. Though it is a time for joy it is hard to make any serious communication without mentioning what is going on in the world. For instance, governments worldwide are introducing new restrictions to curb the spread of the Omicron variant. We might as well try to curb the spread of the common cold or ordinary flu or even curb people’s thoughts.

They say that Omicron is rapidly spreading, but to know that, they would have to have installed extremely expensive testing equipment all around the world, which they have not done. So again, we have a propaganda virus being spread by the elite-owned media, which hates the human race with lies.

South Africa delivered good news on the Omicron coronavirus
variant on Friday the 17th, reporting a much lower rate of hospital
 admissions and signs that the wave of infections may be peaking.

This virus, which is probably a fantasy, is reported to be mild, maybe even milder than the common cold. Though no one seems to have died from it, stock markets are dropping because of this fiction. For those who love to panic, and for politicians and demented virologists who eat up any excuse to take more power, just go ahead and panic but the rest of us should enjoy our holidays.

The English, who love bad news, are saying
“England is “almost certain” to be suffering hundreds
of thousands of omicron variant cases a day.”

Insightful Tom Luongo said, “There is still the threat in its name to our liberty and sanity from those who profit most from the fear of the virus. The aftershocks from COVID will be with us for the foreseeable future. An entire generation has been scarred by this manufactured apocalypse, and there will be no going back to the way things were.”

Omicron: The Lockdowners’ Last Stand’ – Ron Paul’s 20 Dec Column

Omicron: The Lockdowners’ Last Stand

Dec 20 – Just as President Biden’s unconstitutional vaccination mandates were being ripped up by the courts, authoritarian politicians, public health bureaucrats, and the mainstream media, announced a new Covid variant to justify another round of lockdowns and restrictions. The things that didn’t work last time would be a good idea to do again this time, they claim.

For these authoritarians, the timing of omicron’s emergence was perfect.

The variant was first discovered in South Africa, with the US and European media running endless scare stories. Authoritarian politicians used the manufactured fear to justify another attack on liberty. Europe shut down and became a virtual prison camp. In Austria, Germany, and elsewhere, citizens became non-persons without a vaccine passport.

South African health officials reported that the variant seemed to be more contagious but far milder than previous variants, as usually happens with such viruses. But the lockdowners would not hear of it. From Boris Johnson in the UK to DeBlasio in New York City, the variant was perfect cover for them to put their boots back on the necks of terrorized citizens.

As to be expected, Fauci reveled in the emergence of the new variant, warning of “record deaths” for the unvaccinated. Similarly, President Biden warned that this would be a “winter of death” for the unvaccinated.

But here’s something the media isn’t reporting about the omicron outbreaks: they are taking place among the fully vaccinated. Cornell University, with 97 percent of the campus fully vaccinated and a mask mandate, has announced that it would return to online only instruction after a massive Covid outbreak. Likewise, the National Football League has postponed several games this weekend due to Covid outbreaks, even though the League is virtually 100 percent vaccinated. And the National Basketball Association, which is above 95 percent fully vaccinated, has just announced that due to a surge in Covid cases it too will postpone games.

The vaccine is not working to prevent infection or transmission of the virus: cases are raging in states with the highest vaccine levels. Yet the “experts” continue to maintain that the only thing that can stop the spread of omicron is vaccines! More people are catching on that this makes no sense. If vaccines don’t stop the spread, how can vaccines stop the spread?

Unvaccinated South Africa is ending Covid restrictions while the hyper-vaccinated North is locking down. Something doesn’t add up.

Fauci loves to say that to question him is to question science, but this has nothing to do with science. It’s about power. Fauci, the political authoritarians, and the corrupt Big Pharma billionaires are trying to make a last stand, desperate to push omicron as a justification for further tyranny and profits. But actual science is not cooperating.

Omicron is spreading and vaccines are not stopping it. Thus far nearly half of omicron infections are asymptomatic. Some experts are predicting that omicron will spell the end of Covid-19. But we know that as long as people like Fauci are around, Covid-19 will never end. Unless, of course, we repudiate the charlatans and profiteers and reclaim our liberty!

The public health bureaucrat who styles himself as “the Science” is at it again. In his quest to eliminate the control group for his experiment in hazardous mRNA injections, Dr. Anthony Fauci reiterated his warning that the nation faces “a crisis of the unvaccinated.” Omicron is upon us, he told a US Chamber of Commerce meet-up this week, and the hospitals will soon be overwhelmed by the unvaxxed.

Oh really? In fact, the gravest threat to America’s public health is… Dr. Tony Fauci and his debauchery of medical science. This will surely come as a surprise to readers of The New York Times, who see in the two-year (so far) Covid-19 event a splendid opportunity to hasten the destruction of the US economy and our culture in order to consolidate their own power to coerce and control the population. Clear the offices! Shut down the social spaces! Make ordinary business as difficult as possible! Cancel Christmas! That’ll git’er done!

In fact, Dr. Fauci is likely responsible for a preponderance of the total 802,000 US Covid deaths — putting aside the number of people who actually died from highway accidents, cancer, diabetes, old age, and other causes, but were listed as covid deaths by hospital accounting personnel avid for federal subsidy cash.

It was Dr. Fauci who organized the suppression of easily marshalled and inexpensive early treatments for the disease, namely hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, fluvoxamine, budesonide, azithromycin, monoclonal antibodies, Vitamin D, etc. It was Dr. Fauci who promoted the protocol of sending sick patients home from the ER without any treatment to await the further development of fatal clotting in their lungs. It was Dr. Fauci who designated the drug remdesivir — which he developed years ago for hepatitis-C (it did not work) with a financial stake in the patents — as the primary inpatient treatment for Covid-19. And then it turned out that remdesivir destroys patients’ kidneys and is ineffective anyway in late treatment of the disease when viral loads wane and spike proteins have already created the fatal capillary clots in the alveoli of the lungs and in other organs.

It’s Dr. Fauci who is responsible for the emergency use authorization on the mRNA “vaccines” that may have killed hundreds of thousands more Americans — based on the CDC’s VAERS system and statistical analysis of its inherent under-reporting at only 2.2 percent of all actual events— and you can add multiples more in non-fatal adverse reactions, including permanent disabilities. It’s Dr. Fauci who finagled the inadequate and botched trials of the mRNA vaccines in order to rush them into use. And now it’s Dr. Fauci who wants to vaxx up all the children in America, despite evidence that the mRNA shots permanently disable children’s innate natural immune systems and can cause lasting heart, blood vessel, brain, and reproductive damage, and also despite the fact that few children are susceptible to serious Covid illness in the first place.

Dr. Fauci is now warning that America’s hospitals will be overwhelmed (and that it will be the fault of the unvaxxed). Consider this: He predicted the same thing for the first wave of the virus in the winter of 2020 and then the giant emergency hospital set-up in New York’s convention center was never used, nor was the US naval hospital ship brought up for Covid duty. Consider also: going forward, there may be more deaths from the delayed pernicious effects of the vaxxes — namely, the spike proteins which are now observed to linger in the organs and blood vessels as long as fifteen months after the shot — than deaths from the Covid-19 virus itself.

By the way, while Dr. Anthony Fauci may represent the leadership of the corrupt US public health bureaucracy, we cannot let the medical establishment itself off-the-hook for this epic fiasco of crisis mis-management. There are roughly a million doctors in America, and all but a tiny fraction of them have gone along with Dr. Fauci’s wrongful and harmful edicts.
