Soros Soars, GOP Cowards Cower – Taki’s Magazine

Posted by M. C. on January 6, 2021

David Cole

I devoted my Dec. 15 column to newly elected Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón and his benefactor George Soros. Gascón has one goal: to put the people of L.A. at the mercy of criminals. He’s the face of anarcho-tyranny, and George Soros is the wallet. The night after my column, Tucker Carlson devoted his opening segment to Gascón and Soros. I’m not claiming causation; Carlson’s done pieces on Gascón before. But what struck me about Carlson’s commentary was what he left out.

Tuck opened his Gascón/Soros monologue with a claim that is at once true and misleading:

Many of the most important elections are the ones you hear nothing about. The news media barely covers them and most voters don’t know they’re happening. As a result, a small group of committed extremists get to control the outcomes of those elections, often with disastrous results.

Look, I despise the media more than anyone. I was writing anti-media screeds back when Tuck was still under the impression that the bow tie was killing it. But it’s disingenuous to blame the media in this instance. As I wrote in my Dec. 15 column, a key element in Gascón’s victory was the fact that the local GOP didn’t lift a finger to oppose him.

Let me illustrate that in a personal way (and as self-indulgent as this illustration may seem, it has legitimate relevance). As my regular readers know, from 1998 through 2013 I went by the name of David Stein, and I was a fancy-ass big-timey GOP organizer here in L.A. And then in May 2013 I was “outed” in The Guardian for hurty words I’d said about Auschwitz in the early 1990s.

In May 2013, the Westside Republicans (the GOP org that covers L.A.’s prosperous Westside) sent out no less than three email bulletins alerting members to my malevolence (here’s one example). That same group, those same Westside Republicans, didn’t send out one single email or one single Facebook post or tweet this year alerting members to the dangers posed by George Gascón.

Not one. “If Californians fight back against Soros and win, Dems nationwide will begin to see his agenda as political poison.”

I merited three, for words I’d spoken twenty years earlier. But Gascón, whose policies will actually kill Angelenos, merited zero.

I find it hilarious that rightists are blaming the media for not “informing” voters about Gascón. Rightists trusting a life-or-death decision to the media? And then acting surprised and indignant when the media fails to serve the public good? Have we all gone tarded? It’s not up to the fucking media to do our work for us. It was up to the people who in theory should’ve been against Gascón to take the initiative and raise awareness and money to defeat him.

Mainstream conservatives are doing everything they can to avoid acknowledging the lack of GOP opposition to George Soros and his puppets. A Dec. 17 Washington Examiner piece wondered why Soros scored so many wins in November while Republicans did well in most other down-ballot races. And not once in the Examiner piece was the issue of opposition and the lack thereof even hinted at.

The defining domestic issue of the next five years will be crime. The seeds planted by Soros—“progressive” DAs refusing to prosecute and releasing the incarcerated—will blossom into stinking corpse lilies of skyrocketing crime rates (it’s already happening). And the key question is, will the GOP step up and help itself by helping the victims of Soros’ supervillainry?

Spoiler: It won’t. That’s why I referenced my personal situation with the Westside Republicans, who exemplify the absolute worst of what the GOP has become. Those “beware of David Cole” emails won no election, and furthered no candidate or cause. They were nothing but exercises in “see how not racist we are!” virtue signaling. A party obsessed with looking “not racist” will never have the will to counter Soros, because doing so will mean coming into conflict with blacks. Not all blacks, to be sure. Not the law-abiding ones. But any “lock up criminals” policies will inevitably lead to a disproportionate number of locked-up blacks. Expecting otherwise is like expecting to mount a Broadway musical without encountering gays.

The GOP could ride the current and upcoming crime wave to innumerable electoral victories, but that would mean being seen as the party that “locks up blacks,” and neither the party nor Con Inc. has the stomach for that.

It’s one of the reasons I don’t mourn Trump. A second-term Trump would’ve used that slight bump he received in black votes to greatly accelerate his Kardashian-influenced brand of black deincarceration. Trump’s second term would have been defined by that black bump; Trump would’ve viewed that increased share as his greatest accomplishment, and there’d have been no end to the “Platinum Plan” pandering.

So I’m not weeping for the loss. What I am weeping for are the lost opportunities to come. The Republican establishment, Con Inc., the neocons, and corporate GOP donors see no benefit in protecting ordinary citizens from crime. There’s simply nothing in it for them. Remember—Soros doesn’t profit financially from his anarcho-tyranny. He spends millions on his passion; his reward is the misery he creates. The right doesn’t have anyone willing to take a financial loss to counter him. That means he’ll prevail.

There’s also the Breitbartian fetish about “changing the culture,” which keeps rightists focused on pie-in-the-sky fantasies while neglecting immediate practical fixes. After my last anti-Soros column, a decent but dim Hollywood Republican messaged me, “Well, maybe we should make a movie where a Soros-type character rains crime on a city and the people learn to fight back! And that movie could energize anti-Soros sentiment!” As if there’s anyone in the U.S. right now who’s like, “I’m okay with my mom getting raped and murdered,” but then they see this incredible movie, and they’re like, “Whoa, now I don’t want my mom raped and murdered! That film totally changed my views!”

The anti-Soros sentiment is here, right now. Right fucking now. No need to “change the culture.” Just harness what already exists.

But that’s not going to happen. And I’ll close with a perfect example of why my pessimism’s justified.

L.A.’s prosecutors are suing Gascón to try to rein in his madness. They’re literally suing their boss to protect the city they serve. It’s a bold move, and honorable. But not to Hot Air’s intellectual lightweight “Jazz” Shaw, who tweeted an article about the lawsuit with the comment, “Too late. You elected him. Now sleep in the bed you made.”

A group of principled prosecutors have taken it upon themselves to oppose a vile, murderous Soros minion, and the response from this conservative hack is to dismiss the endeavor and attack those who are attacking Soros (shades of how Newt Gingrich shills for Soros while playacting the role of foe).

So we ask ourselves why. Why was this dipshit’s first instinct to condemn the people putting their careers on the line to actually fight Soros (something the local GOP refused to do)?

Well, part of it is that guys like “Jazz” are just not that bright. This Rain Man likely didn’t understand that the DA’s race was countywide, and encompassed red cities like Beverly Hills (which went against Gascón in the election). In fact, the DA race electoral map shows plenty of anti-Gascón precincts, enough that it’s not unreasonable to believe that a little effort on the part of the GOP could’ve tipped the scales.

But “Jazz’s” Kallikak grunting absolves the GOP of the responsibility it shirked. Soros wins when no one opposes him, and “Jazz” typifies the conservative imbeciles who excuse GOP inaction. Soros depends on guys like this. Because Soros knows his formula for success, and he doesn’t want the right to replicate it. When he lost his first few bids to dismantle California’s Three Strikes law (the main impediment to his progressive DAs), did he give up? Did he become fatalistic? Did he dismissively tell the state, “Fine, sleep in the bed you made”? Did he decide that he’d have to make a movie to change the culture?

No. He spent more, and electioneered harder.

That’s why he wins.

What makes the “Jazz” example instructive is that it demonstrates why Soros will keep winning. The right’s instincts are off. If a rightist reads of a potentially effective counterattack against Soros, and his first instinct is to do anything other than cheer it on, that means his instincts are warped, for the reasons I’ve already detailed, and a few others, including an inability to part with treasured falsehoods. Last week, a gang of thugs went on a looting spree in Beverly Hills, and rightist Twitter exploded with exclamations of “Good! Those rich leftists are getting what they voted for!” And every time I attempted to point out that Beverly Hills went for Trump and against Gascón, I was condemned as a “leftist,” because I was challenging a comforting illusion.

That illusion is dangerous, and it’s another factor that enables the GOP establishment’s do-nothing attitude toward Soros. Nobody on the right thought affirmative action would fail in California in November. The GOP did absolutely nothing to help defeat the affirmative-action proposition (fatalism combined with “We don’t wanna look racist”). Yet the proposition lost by a landslide. And guess what? In December, during his book tour, Obama repeatedly brought up affirmative action as something that reasonable people can oppose. Affirmative action was rejected in California, and Democrat leaders got the message—it’s a toxic issue. Because Democrats look to California as a barometer, a way to get a heads-up on what to embrace and what to back away from.

Tucker broached that point in a monologue last week:

California matters, and not just because it’s our biggest state. What happens there is, at some point, almost certain to happen where you live. Find a national trend that didn’t begin in California. There may be some, but there aren’t many. If you want to know the future, or if you want to prevent it, look west.

He’s right, but he was framing the message as “ooga-booga, you don’t want to end up like Cali!” However, what Tuck was saying about this state works in reverse—as in, yes, what begins here spreads elsewhere, but, at the same time, what ends here ends elsewhere. In other words, if Soros can be stopped here—here, of all places—he can be stopped anywhere. And just as with affirmative action, if Californians fight back against Soros and win, Dems nationwide will begin to see his agenda as political poison.

Remember when neocons told us that we had to “fight the terrorists in Iraq so we don’t have to fight them here”? Well, here’s a line that’s not bullshit: Soros (a genuine terrorist) needs to be fought wherever he rears his fetid head. You actually do need to fight him in L.A. so that you won’t have to fight him elsewhere.

Let’s hope in 2021 the GOP comes to understand this.

Recently, it has been brought to my attention that few know who Klaus Schwab is.

Schwab is the founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum, the annual corporate and government globalist get together in Davos, Switzerland they plot to manage the world.

Schwab now wants to take things a bit further now and is calling for entirely changing the world based on his central planning vision. He calls it the Great Reset and it appears top corporate and government leaders are falling in line with his plan.

This makes him more dangerous than Bill Gates and George Soros combined.

As an added touch, he looks and sounds like an evil character out of a James Bond movie:

Electoral College confirms Joe Biden as president-elect amid threats of violence and Trump protests – MarketWatch

Posted by M. C. on December 16, 2020

The only violence I have seen emanates from Antifa, BLM and George Soros’. Biden people.

Chris Matthews

The Electoral College formally declared Joe Biden president-elect Monday, after California cast its 55 votes for the former vice president and put him beyond the 270-vote threshold needed to secure victory.

The final tally showed Biden beating President Donald Trump by a electoral-vote margin of 306-232. In the popular vote, Biden won by more than 7 million votes, or a margin of 4.5%.

“In this battle for the soul of America, democracy prevailed,” President-elect Biden said during a speech Monday night from Wilmington, Del. “We the people voted. Faith in our institutions held. The integrity of our election remains intact.”

Electors across the country voted amid threats of violence and the continued, unsubstantiated allegations by President Donald Trump that he lost the November election as the result of widespread election fraud.

Meanwhile, alternative slates of unofficial electors met in swing states won by Biden, including Pennsylvania, Georgia and Wisconsin, to cast votes for Trump in the hopes that federal courts will rule the electoral votes cast for Biden invalid.

“As we speak today, an alternate slate of electors in the contested states is going to vote and send those votes up to Congress,” Trump aide Stephen Miller told Fox News early Monday. “This will ensure all of our legal remedies will remain open.”

Legal observers, however, said that such votes are no more than political theater. “These electors have neither been certified by state executives nor purportedly appointed by state legislators,” wrote Rick Hasen, an election-law expert at the University of California, Irvine, on his blog. “They don’t have legal authority and so this does not affect the counting of Electoral College votes.”

U.S. presidents are not directly elected by voters. Rather, the Constitution says that citizens must vote in state elections for a candidate. The party of the winning candidate in each state then chooses a slate of electors to vote in the Electoral College.

This year, election officials and electors in many states are took extra precautions to guard against threats of violence, though protests off the process have so far been peaceful. The Michigan State Capitol was closed due to “credible threats of violence,” the Washington Post reported, while in Arizona, the vote was held in an undisclosed location for safety reasons, according to the New York Times.

In Wisconsin, electors were instructed to enter the capitol grounds through an “unmarked side door” to avoid protesters, as electors in the state reportedly having received threats of harm against them and their families if they followed through with their pledged votes for Biden.

Trump has consistently stoked the anger of his supporters, tweeting this weekend that swing states “CANNOT LEGALLY CERTIFY these votes as complete & correct without committing a severely punishable crime.” The president has continued to advance allegations of election fraud that have been discredited in the more than 50 court cases he and his allies have lost in seeking to overturn the results of the November election.

On Friday, the U.S. Supreme Court decided not to hear a case filed by the state of Texas and joined by the Trump campaign and publicly supported by 126 House Republicans that sought to have the results of the presidential balloting in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin declared unconstitutional and effectively hand Trump a second term.

Though there remains active litigation in courts wherein the Trump campaign and its allies are seeking to decertify results in many of the same battleground states, the Supreme Court’s refusal to even hear the Texas case represents a comprehensive rebuke of theories of widespread voter fraud or illegal changes to state election law as factoring into the Trump loss to Biden.

Biden, whose popular-vote margin over Trump exceeds 7 million, defeated Trump 306 to 232 in the Electoral College vote.

A Resolving Picture | Kunstler

Posted by M. C. on December 8, 2020

What on earth was Canada-based Dominion, with its grotty Smartmatic software — connected to Venezuela and to George Soros’s would-be world-changing Open Society Foundation, and very possibly to China’s ruling party — doing in charge of counting our votes? Perhaps serving something other than America’s national interest. We’ll soon find out in a way that will make a lot of heads explode.

James Howard Kunstler

Much as Chief Justice John Roberts would like to be the finger down the Deep State’s throat to trigger the up-chucking of Mr. Trump from the nation’s gullet, it looks like he won’t get his chance in the new 6-3 disposition of the US Supreme Court. So far, it is Justice Samuel Alito in the lead, preparing a landing zone for the President’s case against the state of Pennsylvania in its shabby-ass attempt to stuff its ballot boxes with iffy mail-in votes. I believe that case is going to be heard, and Justice Roberts’ position will be moot.

The problem over in PA is that its Act 77 bill passed before the election by the state legislature to expand absentee balloting (i.e., mail-in voting) did not comply with the PA state constitution, and required a constitutional amendment, which never happened. Could be pretty cut-and-dried. While the SCOTUS is thought to be reluctant to intervene in state constitutional issues, a case involving federal elections may prove an exception. And then there are other issues with the states of Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, and Arizona. A lot of electoral votes there.

The virtual takeover of US elections by the Dominion vote tabulation company was a stealth operation probably enabled by the connivance of scores of elected officials at both the federal and state levels — senators, congressmen, governors, and on down. It’s been going on for years due to the secrecy of the op and the complacency of the public, with a little help from the Democratic Party’s friends in the news media. Did money change hands? Potential criminal violations abound.

An awful lot has been churning in the deep background for months before the election. Mr. Trump was onto the mass write-in vote scam enabled by the media-assisted hysteria over Covid-19. The wheels of genuine US intel against national security threats still turned in spite of whatever Deep State perfidy had been aimed at Mr. Trump himself from Day One in office, and the president made use of his own private counter-intel hackers to suss out the game — which was finally to overthrow him by ballot fraud. The result was Executive Order 13848 issued in September 2020, which specified foreign interference in elections as “an unusual and extraordinary threat to national security” and laid out some pretty stringent remedies.

The main one was a requirement for the top executive agencies — DOJ, DOD, Homeland Security, Treasury plus the Director of National Intelligence (Mr. Ratcliffe) — to deliver an assessment within 45 days of the election. We’re now in the sweet-spot of that 45-day delivery period when something has to pop. Looks a little like the AG, Mr. Barr, has been dithering and wriggling painfully over this, and even making noises about resigning. But he may have already surrendered his credibility, with the foot-dragging of the FBI under Christopher Wray and the agency’s apparent lack of interest in election fraud. The consequences of EO 13848 will roll out with him or without him.

The real action was over at the Department of Defense, where the President hastily cleaned house this fall and installed the trustworthy Christopher Miller as SecDef, along with top aide Kash Patel and Ezra Cohen-Watnick as Acting Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security. Mr. Cohen-Watnick had been an assistant to General Michael Flynn, former Director of Defense Intelligence, in his brief tenure as National Security Advisor before getting sandbagged by Barack Obama and James Comey.

Both Mr. Cohen-Watnick and General Flynn are intimately familiar with the apparatus of Defense Intelligence, of course, and have been actively using it to identify DNC and Joe Biden activists who played a role in election irregularities as well as foreign actors. This wasn’t any RussiaGate type bullshit; it was the real deal. EO 13848 includes this provision:

The report shall identify any material issues of fact with respect to these matters that the Attorney General and the Secretary of Homeland Security are unable to evaluate or reach agreement on at the time the report is submitted. The report shall also include updates and recommendations, when appropriate, regarding remedial actions to be taken by the United States Government, other than the sanctions described in sections 2 and 3 of this order.”

The “remedial actions” are interesting. They include pretty severe sanctions against any “persons” (entity or company) involved in or enabling foreign interference in elections: attaching property in the US, blocking trade, and an array of financial restrictions and penalties. The EO does not spell out criminal penalties that might fall under the sedition and treason statutes, but expect these to be activated as the law provides. Quite a few political celebrities and figures in the news and social media may have exposed themselves to liability in this. If it doesn’t mean the end of Facebook or Twitter, it may spell the end of Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey running them. Also include the less-well-known execs at The WashPo, The New York Times, and several cable news networks.

Eventually, Mr. Trump will have to personally deliver the bad news to Joe Biden that he and Dr. Jill won’t be attending the inaugural ball on January 20 (live or on Zoom). Sound too wild to be true? Well, stand by on it. We’ll know soon enough.

Coming Soon to a U.S. Neighborhood Near You? Regime-Change Foot Soldiers Parading as Social Justice Warriors — Strategic Culture

Posted by M. C. on September 27, 2020

Reading such comments almost forces one to conclude that the Democrats, at least the radical progressive wing of the Democratic Party, have no illusions about Biden’s real chances for beating Trump. After all, if victory looked certain there would be no need for the threats.

Robert Bridge

Is the ‘Trump regime’ about to get a taste of the color revolution tactics that America has employed in the past against “illiberal” foreign governments that refused to toe the neoliberal globalist line? It’s looking highly likely.

Despite great efforts by the mainstream media to play it down, an increasing number of Americans are being subjected to a level of aggression, intimidation and street violence that the authorities seem unable or unwilling to control. This is no accident.

Since 2016, a series of actions by the political left indicate that the chaos unfolding on the streets of America is no grassroots movement on behalf of ‘social justice,’ but rather a carefully coordinated plan to oust Trump in the event the Democrats fail to get Biden into office. Indeed, for the orchestrators of this coup, what happens on Nov. 4 is of far more relevance that what happens on Election Day.

The first sign of trouble came in 2016, when none other than George Soros began spending a king’s ransom in local judicial elections. As the Daily Signal noted, “[r]adical social justice activists will serve as the top prosecutors for three major Washington, D.C., suburbs—including the two wealthiest counties in the U.S.—after George Soros’ political action committee poured $2.1 million into ordinarily sleepy local races.”

Only a crazed conspiracy theorist, like Newt Gingrich, apparently, would see any connection between Soros supporting radical prosecutors, and his other pet project of supporting ‘social justice’ groups, like Black Lives Matter and Antifa, who occasionally find themselves in need of a sympathetic justice system. And if local courts somehow fail to catch and release the hoodlums, Hollywood has shown a disturbing willingness to write out the bail checks. The only thing the looters and ‘peaceful protesters’ need now is a government mandate that requires masks be worn in public to protect their identities, and for property owners to understand they will be prosecuted for demonstrating their 2nd Amendment rights.

Now that the radicals have their institutional support structure all in place, a strange yet not wholly unexpected thing is happening. Although police brutality has been occurring in the United States long Trump became president, and it effects both whites and blacks, the ‘peaceful protesters’ are venting their outrage primarily against Republicans, which the left has come to associate with ‘white supremacists’ and ‘fascism.’ This demonization of the right, which the mainstream media is happy to accentuate so long Trump is at the helm, gives left-wing groups the bare amount of legitimacy they need to carry out their activities.

By way of example, consider the way members of Black Lives Matter aggressively taunted Republicans as they attempted to leave the Republican National Convention where Trump accepted the nomination for the presidential election. As Senator Rand Paul and his wife Michele walked down the sidewalk, a frenzied mob could be heard shouting, “say her name!” in reference to Breonna Taylor, a 26-year-old Black woman who was shot to death by police at her home in March during a botched raid. Apparently it did not matter to the rabble, or they never knew, that Paul was responsible for filing legislation to prohibit police officers from using no-knock warrants like the one that led to the fatal shooting of Ms. Taylor.

Another strange coincidence for the coincidence theorists is that a number of Democrats have been calling for exactly the sort of harassment against Trump supporters that is now unfolding across the nation. In June, Maxine Waters, for example, incited her followers to “create a crowd, and you push back on them.” More recently, Kamala Harris, the Democratic vice president nominee, said in an interview with Stephen Colbert, “They [the protesters] are not going to stop before Election Day in November, and they’re not going to stop after Election Day…They’re not going to let up, and they should not, and we should not.”

Reading such comments almost forces one to conclude that the Democrats, at least the radical progressive wing of the Democratic Party, have no illusions about Biden’s real chances for beating Trump. After all, if victory looked certain there would be no need for the threats. In other words, what the Democrats are most concerned about are not the actual results of the election, which have a very high chance of being unfavorable, but rather the reaction to the results. On this point, appearances are everything. Thus the mainstream media, in cahoots with left-leaning polling agencies and colleges, have conditioned Liberals – in the very same way they did in 2016 with their hugely inaccurate polls – to believe that Biden simply cannot lose. It doesn’t require a degree in the theory of revolutions to predict how those BLM/Antifa protesters, many of whom were too young to vote in 2016, are going to react to the news of four more years of a ‘white supremacist in chief.’ Not calmly and rationally, that’s for sure. After all, we are talking about an entire generation that has graduated from Woke U. with a Marxist major in ‘American Imperialism’ and a minor in ‘Mass Destruction’.

Fox News Cuts Off Newt Gingrich After He Points Out George Soros Role in Electing Prosecutors

Posted by M. C. on September 17, 2020

FOX News in league with the anti-christ Soros.

by Joel B. Pollak and Penny Starr

Fox News cut off former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich on Wednesday after he brought up the role of billionaire left-wing financier George Soros in funding the election of left-wing prosecutors in local elections over the past several years.

Gingrich argued that the rise in crime in many Democrat-governed cities was partly the result of the election of left-wing district attorneys who had received financial assistance from George Soros.

But commentators Melissa Francis and Marie Harf attempted to silence Gingrich.

This is one of the weirdest exchanges I’ve ever seen on TV. @newtgingrich correctly points out that George Soros threw an unprecedented amount of money into DA races all over the country to elect radicals and Fox News basically told him to shut up. WTF?

— Robby Starbuck (@robbystarbuck) September 16, 2020

“Look, the number one problem in almost all these cities is George Soros-elected, left-wing, anti-police, pro-criminal district attorneys who refuse to keep people locked up,” Gingrich said. “Just yesterday they put somebody back on the streets who’s wanted for two different murders in New York City.”

He continued: “You cannot solve this problem — and both [Kamala] Harris and [Joe] Biden have talked very proudly out what they call ‘progressive district attorneys’. Progressive district attorneys are anti-police, pro-criminal, and overwhelmingly elected with George Soros’s money.

“And they’re a major cause of the violence we’re seeing because they keep putting the violent criminals back on the street,” Gingrich said.

“I’m not sure we need to bring George Soros into this,” Francis replied.

“He paid for it,” Gingrich, who was obviously taken aback by the interruption. “I mean, why can’t we discuss that fact that millions of dollars….”.

“No he didn’t,” Harf interjected. “I agree with Melissa. George Soros doesn’t need to be a part of this conversation.”

“Okay, so it’s verboten,” Gingrich said, using the German word for “forbidden.”

As Breitbart News reported in May 2018, Soros became involved in several local races for district attorney, in Northern California and around the nation. His goal was to defeat “law-and-order” candidates and elect “progressive” prosecutors.

The Los Angeles Times noted, in an article titled “Here’s why George Soros, liberal groups are spending big to help decide who’s your next D.A.”:

The effort is part of a years-long campaign by liberal groups to reshape the nation’s criminal justice system.

Where law-and-order campaigns appeal to fear, the new strategy targets anger.

One issue that has caught fire is police shootings.

“It’s really coming from this Black Lives Matter moment of police accountability,” said Margaret Dooley-Sammuli, criminal justice and drug policy director for the ACLU of California.

Much of the money remained “hidden,” funneled (presumably legally) through non-profit groups that did not have to disclose their donors.

It is therefore unknown precisely how many races Soros was involved in, though the Times reported that the number was at least 21. In many cases, Soros backed left-wing candidates against establishment Democrats.

Soros-backed prosecutors have played a role in several national controversies. They include Kim Foxx, the Chicago-area prosecutor who mishandled the Jussie Smollet hate crime hoax; Kim Garnder, the St. Louis prosecutor who charged the McCloskeys after they defended their home from a Black Lives Matter mob by standing outside with their guns; and Diana Becton, who has charged a California couple with a hate crime for painting over a “Black Lives Matter” mural on a public road.

In a 2018 essay about Soros in Tablet magazine, an online Jewish publication, James Kirchik noted that while some criticism of Soros is indeed antisemitic, some is not, and focuses on legitimate criticism of his role in funding the far left around the world.

The Ghost in the Machine – Kunstler

Posted by M. C. on September 8, 2020

The Labor Day starting-gun kicks off the high campaign season and Ol’ White Joe wobbles forth from his lair under a rock somewhere to dazzle audiences of six or eight sympathetic journos posed in “social distancing” formation while the party’s Antifa and BLM shock troops soften up voters elsewhere across the land with vote-winning riots, arson, and looting. There’s a recipe for political success!

James Howard Kunstler

The abiding mystery of the 2020 election is how come the Democratic Party, wishing so zealously to win back power, took pains to nominate a candidate weaker than the ghost of Millard Fillmore. Resorting to Occam’s Razor, one might have to conclude that Joe Biden was simply the best they had — a surefire case for the party’s necessary extinction.

You have to wonder how the claque of DC deep state players behind this fiasco could come up with a game-plan so stupidly inept… but there it is! Apparently, they’re laying further plans now to bum-rush Ol’ Joe into the White House by main force with a “color revolution” — that is, an orchestrated fake popular revolt as in the Ukraine Maidan regime change operation of 2014. In fact, as Revolver News reports, the same wrecking crew of US State Department officials, intel spooks, contract insurrectionists, and George Soros-sponsored NGO intriguers is behind the US 2020 “Transition Integrity Project” aimed at launching a US post-election coup against Mr. Trump, no matter how the election actually goes.

The plan was all over the web wires this holiday weekend. Everybody knows exactly what to expect now: a November 3 Trump election victory followed by a king-tide of post-election write-in votes for Ol’ Joe… a long, drawn-out, and surely inconclusive battle trying to validate scores of millions of postmarks and signatures… and a skein of Lawfare-managed shenanigans conducted in battleground state legislatures to change-out electoral college slates. And any objections by Mr. Trump and his party will be labeled as Putin-backed fascist treason.

Will that result in Mr. Biden actually gliding into the oval office? No, it will bring on a years’ long quasi civil war sure to finish off the institutions of a federal republic and also whatever remains of the US economy. Is that what y’all really want, Nancy Pelosi, Hillary & Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Adam Schiff, Bill Kristol, David Frum, Dean Baquet, and five hundred other seditious political degenerates out there?

A centerpiece of the operation is the planned 50-day protest beginning mid-month in Lafayette Square, across the way from the White House. We’re supposed to expect the usual Hieronymus Bosch spectacle of Antifa / BLM antics: fireworks, bullhorns, lasers, flying water bottles, tranny dances, toppled statues, smashed fences. That ragtag mob and their Democratic Party “allies” have been trying their goshdarndest for half a year to produce a crop of Kent State style martyrs at the hands of police to horrify the conscience of the nation…but so far, no luck.

Instead they have to settle for a succession of thugs-on-drugs resisting arrest violently, and getting themselves shot or killed in the process. The latest ringer, one Daniel Prude of Rochester, New York, is actually a catch-up case from last March, sort of a bench player for “the Resistance,” put into the game to counter the bad publicity from the Sept. 3 murder in Portland, OR, of Aaron Danielson by “100-percent Antifa” Michael Forest Reinoehl.

In the Rochester case, the police were initially contacted by the victim’s brother after Mr. Prude “acted erratically,” including diving down a flight of stairs head-first. After an evaluation in a Rochester hospital, Mr. Prude came home, freaked out again, and took off his clothing in the street. Police returned to the scene. During his arrest, Mr. Prude raved, “Give me that gun,” and spat at the officers. Since the Covid-19 outbreak had started weeks earlier, the cops put a hood on Mr. Prude to avoid his projected body fluids and physically subdued him. In the process, he went unconscious and eight days later was pronounced dead. Of course, his death was declared “a homicide,” with “excited delirium and acute intoxication by phencyclidine, or PCP (aka “angel dust”) listed as “a contributing factor.” Now, months later, BLM and Antifa forces are mobilized and procede to riot, trashing another Democratic Party-governed city.

Quite a clever election strategy: to wreak as much destruction as possible in cities they control so that voters naturally will blame it on the other party, led by its candidate, the wicked president Trump. Is it possible that plan is not working? That voters are perhaps drawing different conclusions — like maybe they’re getting wise to the seditious hustle being run on them, and maybe a little sick and tired of it?

The upcoming Lafayette Square “protest” will be interesting. The US government transferred management of Washington DC to a chartered city council and mayor with the District of Columbia Home Rule Act of 1973. The US retains certain prerogatives for safeguarding federal buildings, monuments, and other installations. DC Mayor Muriel Bowser demonstrated a lack of initiative for controlling mob violence during the June riots. Will she let it happen again during the election season?

So far this year, Mr. Trump has allowed the Democratic Party to disgrace itself in acquiescing to mobs and riots around the country. In DC, they’ll be daring him to draw the line, perhaps hoping for federal peace officers to step in and finally produce that crop of useful martyrs “the Resistance” longs for. Personally, I don’t think the voters are liable to blame the president for taking action against additional violent anarchy in the nation’s capital. Do you remember those words from the oath of office, by any chance: preserve, protect and defend? Meanwhile, Ol’ White Joe will be standing by, doing as much for his country as the ghost of Millard Fillmore.

How Undercover Journalism Turned the Tide in 2016 – American Thinker

Posted by M. C. on September 4, 2020

We train our people, and I work with a network of groups,” explained Foval. “We train them up on how to get themselves into a situation on tape, on camera, that we can use later.” Unwittingly, Foval was committing to video the way Democratic operatives were using their own people to foment violence at Trump rallies, for which Trump people were inevitably blamed.

“I’m saying we have mentally ill people that we pay to do shit. Make no mistake,” Foval continued. “Over the last twenty years, I’ve paid off a few homeless guys to do some crazy stuff, and I’ve also taken them for dinner, and I’ve also made sure they had a hotel and a shower, and I put them in a program. Like I’ve done that. But the reality is, a lot of people, especially, our union guys, a lot of union guys, they’ll do whatever you want. They’re rock ‘n roll.”

By Jack Cashill

In mid-October 2016, while on business in New York, I swung over to New Jersey to visit with my relatives.  At dinner that evening, my brother, then in in the early stages of TDS — it has since metastasized; pray for him — was gloating over Hillary’s impending victory.

I asked my brother if he were willing to bet on it.  He most certainly was.  He was sufficiently confident to give me 7 to 1 odds.  I took it.  Based on what I knew, I would have taken the bet at even money.  I had inside info.

Earlier in the day, I had popped up to visit James O’Keefe at the Project Veritas offices north of the city.  My timing was excellent.  O’Keefe was in the middle of rolling out his “Rigging the Election” series of undercover videos.

A few days earlier, O’Keefe had released as part of the series a video recorded by the irrepressible Laura Loomer.  Laura was twenty-three at the time.  If there is a ballsier journalist/activist in America, I have not met him.  Today, Loomer is the Republican candidate for Congress in Florida’s 21st District.

Loomer caught Alan Schulkin, a Democrat on New York’s Board of Elections, in a moment of rare candor.  “I think there is a lot of voter fraud,” admitted Schulkin.  “People don’t realize, certain neighborhoods in particular they bus people around to vote.”  When Loomer asked him to identify the neighborhoods, Schulkin specified black, Hispanic, and Chinese.

This was not a lead the major media were prepared to follow up on.  The New York Daily News attacked Project Veritas.  The New York Times did its best to ignore it.

O’Keefe’s next bombshell was harder to ignore.  A Project Veritas reporter had been posing as a young Democrat organizer named “Steve” in Wisconsin and gained the trust of the higher-ups, most notably Scott Foval.  Foval was then deputy director of People for the American Way, an outfit founded by TV producer Norman Lear and funded by George Soros among others.

Like many campaign strategists, Foval liked to boast.  He began by sharing with Steve the many ways in which Democrats move people around to affect the outcome of an election.  As though speaking to an imagined Republican, Foval claimed, “Well you know what?  We’ve been bussing people in to deal with you f—— a——- for fifty years and we’re not going to stop now.”  Vote fraud is old news, but Foval moved into new territory: a phenomenon he called “bird-dogging.”

“You remember the Iowa State Fair thing where Scott Walker grabbed the sign out of the dude’s hand, and then the dude kind of gets roughed up right in front of the stage right there on camera?” Foval asked Steve.

“We train our people, and I work with a network of groups,” explained Foval.

Foval conveniently laid out the hierarchy of the bird-dogging network.  “The [Clinton] campaign pays DNC,” he told Steve.  “DNC pays Democracy Partners.  Democracy Partners pays The Foval Group.  The Foval Group goes and executes the s— on the ground.”

Foval reported directly to Bob Creamer at Democracy Partners.  “Bob Creamer is diabolical,” said Foval, “and I love him for it.  I have learned so much from that man over the last twenty years, I can’t even tell you.”  Bob Creamer, the husband of a Chicago-area congresswoman, had already served time for bank fraud, a useful credential for running the dirty tricks campaign against Donald Trump.

According to White House visitor logs, Creamer had made more than 340 trips to the White House while Obama was president, occasionally with Obama present at the meeting.  Foval described Creamer as “the black hat” to his “white hat.”

O’Keefe sat on the Foval video for months.  In the interim, through a clever and involved strategy, he and his Project Veritas team succeeded in getting a 21-year-old reporter, “Angela,” an internship at Democracy Partners.  Creamer took a shine to Angela, bringing her to the DNC offices and even inviting her to the White House, which opportunity she ducked lest she get busted for entering under a false identity.

Creamer shared some of the secrets of bird-dogging with his new intern.  He explained that “DREAMers” were some of their most effective troublemakers.  “They’re just pros at this,” said Creamer.  When Angela asked for clarification, Creamer explained, “Dreamers are the category of people brought here as children, as immigrants.”  He singled out one particular individual whose “crew is spectacular at it.”  For the record, these “pros” were in the country illegally.  That did not seem to bother Creamer.

“So Hillary is aware of all the work that you guys do, I hope?” Angela asked.  “Oh yeah,” said Creamer.  “Yes. The campaign is fully in it.”

When I headed back to New Jersey that day, I knew that all this and more was about to hit the news, and it hit powerfully enough to shift the momentum.  During the final Las Vegas debate, Trump did not hesitate to bring up the dirty tricks campaign Hillary and her people had orchestrated.

As I relate in my new book, Unmasking Obama, O’Keefe, Loomer, and scores of other irregular journalists did the investigative work the major media refused to during the Obama years.  Their efforts ultimately paved the way to Trump’s victory.

Let me conclude with a tip: if you’re taking book on 2020, factor in some more good dope from Project Veritas.

Jack Cashill’s new book, Unmasking Obama: The Fight to Tell the True Story of a Failed Presidency, is now widely available.  Also see

George Soros Pouring $220 Million into ‘Racial Justice’ Movement

Posted by M. C. on July 13, 2020

I suspect racial injustice isn’t the only thing that will be “dismantled”.

Will voting democrat and one world/UN government indoctrination be part of Soros’ “help”?

Hungarians won’t have anything to do with Soros. We should follow their lead.

by Joshua Caplan

Progressive billionaire George Soros’s philanthropic organization — Open Society Foundations — announced Monday that it will donate $220 million to groups focused on “racial justice.”

The organization plans on investigating $150 million alone into five-year grants for organizations aimed at achieving equal statistical outcomes between demographic groups in economics and criminal justice. The other $70 million is said to be going toward “more immediate efforts to advance racial justice.” Groups expected to receive funds include Black Voters Matter and Repairers of the Breach.

“It is inspiring and powerful to experience this transformational moment in the racial justice movement,” said Open Society Foundations president Patrick Gaspard. “We are honored to be able to carry on the vital work of fighting for rights, dignity, and equity for oppressed people the world over started by our founder and chair, George Soros.”

“This is the time for urgent and bold action to address racial injustice in America,” Alexander Soros, Soros’s son, said in a separate statement. “These investments will empower proven leaders in the Black community to reimagine policing, end mass incarceration, and eliminate the barriers to opportunity that have been the source of inequity for too long.”

The announcement comes after public records revealed Soros will double his 2016 election spending as part of a broader effort to help defeat President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign.

As Breitbart News reported: “Soros has poured money “into the coffers of the Democracy PAC, a super PAC that passes money to other liberal PACs working to defeat Trump and congressional Republicans… [The] PAC has received $40 million, double the $20 million it received in 2016 throughout the presidential election.”

In April, Open Society Foundations pledged $130 million to fight the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic and “[push] back against government encroachment on political freedoms.”

Some Conspiracy Theories Are for Real — Strategic Culture

Posted by M. C. on July 6, 2020

 Philip Giraldi

What is the best way to debunk a conspiracy theory? Call it a conspiracy theory, a label which in and of itself implies disbelief. The only problem with that is there have been many actual conspiracies both historically and currently and many of them are not in the least theoretical in nature. Conspiracies of several kinds brought about American participation in both world wars. And however one feels about President Donald Trump, it must be conceded that he has been the victim of a number of conspiracies, first to deny him the GOP nomination, then to insure that he be defeated in the presidential election, and subsequently to completely delegitimize his presidency.

Prior to Trump there have been numerous conspiracy “theories,” many of which have been quite plausible. The “suicide” of Defense Secretary James Forrestal comes to mind, followed by the assassination of John F. Kennedy, which has been credibly credited to both Cuba and Israel. And then there is 9/11, perhaps the greatest conspiracy theory of all. Israel clearly knew it was coming, witness the Five Dancing Shlomos cavorting and filming themselves in New Jersey as the twin towers went down. Also the Saudis might have played a role in funding and even directing the alleged hijackers. And we have also had the conspiracy by the neocons to fabricate information about Iraq’s WMDs and the ongoing conspiracy by the same players to depict Iran as a threat to the United States.

Given the multiple crises currently being experienced in the United States it is perhaps inevitable that speculation about conspiracies is at its highest level ever. To the average American it is incomprehensible how the country has become so screwed up because the political and economic elite is fundamentally incompetent, so the search for a scapegoat must go on.

There are a number of conspiracy theories about the coronavirus currently making the rounds. Those libertarians and contrarians who choose to believe that the virus is actually a flu being exploited to strip them of their liberties are convinced that many in the government and media have conspired to sell what is essentially a fraud. One such snake oil salesman persists in using an analogy, that since more Americans are killed in automobile accidents than by the coronavirus it would be more appropriate to ban cars than to require the wearing of face masks.

Another theory making the rounds accuses Microsoft multi-billionaire Bill Gates of trying to take over the world’s healthcare system through the introduction of a vaccine to control the coronavirus, which he presumably created in the first place. The fallacy in many of the virus “conspiracies” that relate to a totalitarian regime or a crazy billionaire using a faux disease to generate fear so as to gain control of the citizenry is that it gives far too much credit to any government’s or individual’s ability to pull off a fraud of that magnitude. It would require people a whole lot smarter than the tag team of Trump-Pompeo or even Gates to convince the world and thousands of doctors and scientists that they should lock down entire countries over something completely phony.

Other coronavirus theories include that the virus was developed in the U.S., was exported to China by a traitorous American scientist, weaponized in Wuhan and then unleashed on the West as part of a communist plot to destroy capitalism and democracy. That would mean that we are already at war with China, or at least we should be. Then there is the largely accepted theory that the virus was created in Wuhan and escaped from the lab. Since that time Beijing has been engaging in a cover-up, which is the conspiracy. It is a theme favored by the White House, which has not yet decided what to do about it beyond assigning funny “Yellow Peril” names to the disease so everyone in MAGA hats will have something to chuckle about leading up to the November election.

But all kidding aside, there are some conspiracy theories that are more worth considering than others. One would be the role of George Soros and the so-called Open Society Foundations that he controls and funds in the unrest that is sweeping across the United States. The allegations against Soros are admittedly thin on evidence, but conspiracy mongers would point out that that is the mark of a really well-planned conspiracy, similar to what the 89 year-old Hungarian Jewish billionaire has been engaging in for a long time. The current round of claims about Open Society and Soros have generated as many as 500,000 tweets a day as well as nearly 70,000 Facebook posts per month, mostly from political conservatives.

The allegations tend to fall into two broad categories. First, that Soros hires protester/thugs and transports them to demonstrations where they are supplied with bricks and incendiaries to turn the gatherings into riots. Second, that Open Society is funding and otherwise enabling the destabilizing flow of illegal immigrants into the United States.

Soros and his supporters, many of whom are Jewish because they think they see anti-Semitism in the attacks on the Hungarian, claim to support democratization and free trade worldwide. He is, in effect, one of the world’s leading globalists. Soros claims to be a “force for good” as the cliché goes, but is it completely credible that his $32 billion foundation does not operate behind the scenes to influence developments in ways that are certainly not democratic?

Indeed, Soros accumulated his vast fortune through vulture capitalism. He made over $1 billion in 1992 by selling short $10 billion in British pounds sterling, leading to the media dubbing him “the man who broke the bank of England.” He has been accused of similar currency manipulation in both Europe and Asia. In 1999, New York Times economist Paul Krugman wrote of him that “Nobody who has read a business magazine in the last few years can be unaware that these days there really are investors who not only move money in anticipation of a currency crisis, but actually do their best to trigger that crisis for fun and profit.”

Far from a passive bystander giving helpful advice to democracy groups, Soros was heavily involved with the restructuring of former communist regimes in eastern Europe and had a hand in the so-called Rose Revolution in Georgia in 2003 and the Maidan Revolution in Ukraine in 2014, both of which were supported by the U.S. government and were intended to threaten Russia’s regional security.

Soros particularly hates President Vladimir Putin and Russia. He revealed that he is far from a benevolent figure fighting for justice in his March Financial Times op-ed (behind a pay wall) entitled “Europe Must Stand With Turkey Over Putin’s War Crimes in Syria.”

The op-ed is full of errors of fact and is basically a call for aggression against a Russia that he describes as engaged in bombing schools and hospitals. It starts with, “Since the beginning of its intervention in Syria in September 2015, Russia has not only sought to keep in place its most faithful Arab ally, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. It has also wanted to regain the regional and global influence that it lost since the fall of the Soviet Union.” First of all, Russia did not “intervene” in Syria. It was invited there by the country’s legitimate government to provide assistance against various groups, some of which were linked to al Qaeda and the Islamic State, that were seeking to overthrow President al-Assad.

And apart from Soros, few actual experts on Russia would claim that it is seeking to recreate the “influence” of the Soviet Union. Moscow does not have the resources to do so and has evinced no desire to pursue the sort of global agenda that was characteristic of the Soviet state.

There then follows a complete flight into hyperbole with: “Vladimir Putin has sought to use the turmoil in the Middle East to erase international norms and advances in international humanitarian law made since the second world war. In fact, creating the humanitarian disaster that has turned almost 6 million Syrians into refugees has not been a byproduct of the Russian president’s strategy in Syria. It has been one of his central goals.” Note that none of Soros’s assertions are supported by fact.

The Soros op-ed also included a bit of reminiscence, describing how, “In 2014, I urged Europe to wake up to the threat that Russia was posing to its strategic interests.” The op-ed reveals Soros as neither conciliatory nor “diplomatic,” a clear sign that he picks his enemies based on ideological considerations that also drive his choices on how to frame his ventures. Given all of that, why is it unimaginable that George Soros is engaged in a conspiracy, that he is clandestinely behind at least some of the mayhem of Antifa and Black Lives Matter as well as the flood of illegal immigration that have together perhaps fatally destabilized the United States?
